Worst service I've ever received. Attitude of the people here are extremely rude. My first slice was cold and not properly reheated. Second slice I received it was a tad bit warmer but not reheated to a good temperature. The second slice they gave, the server decided to just throw it on the counter and walk away immediately. It was only slightly "warmer" than my cold pizza. I understand it's New York pizza but at least those guys acknowledge you instead of being jerks and giving an attitude the whole time we were there.

Perfect New York style pizza in Malibu! Felt like I was back in the city again eating some delicious pizza. They have plenty of selection for whatever you're craving. On this particular day, I was feeling a basic cheese slice, and it was pretty good. The mozzarella sticks were not something I would order again. They had a funky aftertaste. Spit them out right away thinking they were rotten. The cashier at the front was super friendly and helped me choose the best pizzas from the menu. Id come back! They also have a little bar on the left side that I'll check out next time I come.

I lived in NYC from 2016-2023 and Prince Street was a big part of both my drunk and sober nights when I was there so in coming out to LA I was excited to see that there was one out here. Had a hankering for pizza last night and decided to give it a try. Normally I opt for the spicy spring but I wanted a standard NY pie last night so I got half cheese (my pick) and half mushroom for a friend. It was delivered quickly and hot. I thought it was good but not great. The crust ratio was a little off and it could have had considerably more sauce. But the flavor was there and it definitely had a good dough, even if there were too much of it. Not sure I would rush to order again, but it satisfied the craving that I was having.

I heard a lot of good stuff about this place from my brother in Chicago and it's been on my to go list for a long time. We were in town for the weekend and didn't want to do a fancy dinner. We got two slices - both weren't very good at all. Originally we ordered 3 but the guy serving us / cashier didn't acknowledge the third so we just decided to get two so we didn't feel like we were bothering him. He was rude and had a bad attitude towards us. That, and didn't bother to hand us our salad. Just kept it on the side of the counter until I asked if it was ours. The Caesar salad was rubbery, and the countertops were dirty with all the utensils. We sat outside to eat and were grossed out by how sweet and greasy the pizzas tasted and how old the salad was. We tossed our expensive pizza dinner and went to Whole Foods to try to fix our dinner situation. Probably won't do this again.

I just came home and I have to admit. I really love this pizza but I didn't hesitate to order the meat lovers when I came in, but there was another piece of pizza that everyone should try. It looks like they took meat sauce with marinara and put it over the top, which is like all the best parts of spaghetti and all the best parts of pizza and I have to agree. It is really good. I love the indoor seating and I love the parking because it was really easy to get to for a place like this I can see that I'm gonna be coming back a lot more. My two slices of meat lovers in the meat marinara sliced were the best. If I had more room in my stomach, I would order more.

Great flavor. Great portion size. The mozzaella sticks are big and the cheese pull is fantastic. Very filling . If you're a glorified big back like me,lol , you wont be disappointed. You definitely gotta stop here in you're in the area.

If you've followed my Yelp journey, you already know: I'm a Bostonian pizza snob. I'm also half Sicilian, and I worked at multiple pizza joints in my younger years--ostensibly to pay the bills, but really just to impress girls (spoiler alert: it didn't work). I rarely find pizza in LA that's even worth talking about. And I'm not talking high-end Neapolitan stuff from white-tablecloth Italian restaurants. I mean real, neighborhood-joint pizza. You know the kind. (No, CPK does not count. Don't you dare.) So on this fateful weekend trip to Malibu Country Mart, I was in a mood. A bitch mood, to be exact. And I'll admit--I came here ready to rip this place apart. Like, I wanted to hate it. I came looking for a fight... ...and I would've lost. Is it the best pizza in LA? Too early to say. But it's very good. And more importantly? My three Boston-born kids loved it. If you think I'm a pizza snob, you haven't met my oldest son. This kid grew up on a dough table in our old Boston pizza shop and is basically a pizza gangsta--and he went back twice for the Prince Perfection (a marinara-only pie!). I was dumbfounded. But when it comes to pizza, he doesn't miss. As for me, the Naughty Pie was the standout. Ever since I moved to LA, vodka sauce pizza has become my guilty pleasure--and with all the meat fixings, this one hit all the right notes. My youngest had the meat lover's, and his review was: "very good." (Which, in kid-speak, means winner.) Bonus discovery: Espresso soda. A bit sweet for me, but surprisingly paired perfectly with the pizza. Didn't expect that. Final verdict: I came ready to destroy this place. Instead, I found myself planning a return trip. I'll be back. Probably angry again. But full. And happy.

Tina and Freddie were so friendly and helpful! Can't wait to come back! Also awesome pizza.

Pizza gem found and not mad about it! Great deal, fun pizza box, and fed us all. Win, win, win!!!

Over cooked dry pizza. I'll stick with Whole Foods across the street before this crap.
    Foodie F.

What could improve? Well, let's start with the pizza. I'll stick with Whole Foods across the street before I eat this crap. Overcooked, dry yet surprisingly still greasy. On a positive note, the cashier did have a bad attitude. Miserable guy.

Some spaghetti with some kind of incredibly BLAND flavorless tomato sauce/paste with less flavor than the cheapest over the counter spaghetti sauce you'll ever taste. Sprinkle a few flecks of greenery on the bowl, 2 "kinda pleasant" but really boring beef meatballs? And voila... an uninspired spaghetti that maybe could challenge a 7th grade home economics class. Maybe. And all for the premium price tag of $24. Come ahhhhhn, Spruzzo. I SO wanna put you into heavy rotation, with perhaps what should be THE #1 go-to entree of anyplace remotely Italian. But this offering!? It's an insult to any palate. Spazzatura. Generally, it's a nice waitstaff here (although, last night-- a late, slow Monday night... played out very sluggish!) and the atmosphere is generally inviting too. But I, once again, left very unhappy, even letting my server know (and the server agreed!) ... with only the warm bread being the ONLY satisfying part of my meal. PLEASE Spruzzo, change the recipe. Chef Boyardee left the building in 1965.

**Utter Disappointment**…read more I followed the strong reviews and decided to try Magma Pizzeria for takeout through DoorDash. I ordered the Queen Margherita with added cheese and pepperoni. The pizza arrived about 20-30 minutes later, and while delivery temperature can affect a pie, it usually cannot hide whether the pizza itself is well-made. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The box had oil pooling on one side, which was not a great first sign. The crust was cooked around the edges, but the center was thin, soft, and doughy underneath. The added cheese and pepperoni were far too salty together, almost as if they belonged to a different pizza entirely, rather than working with the Margherita base. The basil was strong, which I expected from a Margherita-style pizza, but what felt missing were the diced or sliced tomatoes. Instead, it came across more like red sauce with heavy pizza seasoning, and not in a good way. Overall, the pizza felt rushed and should not have left the kitchen in that condition. I wanted to like it based on the reviews, but this was not a good pie. I'm hoping for better pizza options in the Camarillo/Thousand Oaks area moving forward. I won't be back.
