Electrical wiring in my 1955 home was incapable of supporting current needs. Only six circuit breakers for the entire home. Using the microwave and coffeepot would blow a breaker. None of my outlets had the ground wire. Not enough outlets for today's electronics. In 2013, I had all my home's wiring replaced, new circuit breaker panel installed. My contractor, Scripps Ranch Restoration & Remodeling used Energy Electric to do the job. I had been working on a plan for what I wanted, showed it to the company's owner, Chris Wysoczanski. He reviewed it and based on his experience, made some excellent suggestions for areas I had not thought of. As in, I have two back yard porch lights. Would I like both switches to turn them on and off? Oh, yes. Did I want the garage included? Yes but not right now. Ok, he would run the new circuit wires to the garage wall in the attic, wire the garage when ready. Power to my patio? Yes I did. Did I want the cable connection moved into a flush mount wall box? Oh, yes. Did I want any internet cables run to other parts of the house? Yes I did. Wall mount TVs? Yes. He ran all my supporting wiring inside the walls for a very clean look. He and his team showed up early one morning and got right to work. Walls cut open, wires run, outlets replaced. My home's power lines were connected to the fascia, the old standard. Chris replaced this with a modern weather head, raising the wires higher off the ground for code compliance, better safety. By the end of the first day, I had power in my house, final work to be done next one to two days. It was like a beehive with all his electrical techs working away. End of each day they cleaned up, all trash in the bin. His senior electrician worked with me anytime there was a question or an issue installing power where I wanted it. Second day I asked if they could install wiring for an attic exhaust fan. Done. Everything was taken care of. When he was almost done, we reviewed all areas worked to ensure everything worked. Did I have any questions? I asked him about installing a whole house surge protector I had just bought. No problem. He had one of the techs do the install. Next year I had him come back to rewire my garage. Again all work was done quickly and efficiently. All the outlets I need for power tools, lighting and garage ceiling and attic exhaust fan. Now I have all the power outlets I need where I want them. No more blown breakers due to overloading. New circuit breaker panel as grown to 19 breakers. I have some other electrical upgrades in the works for coming years. Chris and his team will be doing the work. Very professional management, professional company. read more

Wow, these guys are best, seriously. Chris and his team did some minor work for me during a kitchen remodel a couple years back, couple outlets, couple switches, they were in and out, fast, professional, helpful recommendations, overall great to work with. Fast forward and I called Chris to get his thoughts on a doozy of a 1950s-era home that we just bought. Outlet and switches in the kitchen didn't work, exposed wiring all over the show, two prong and three prong outlets, house isn't grounded, panel is fright the list goes on... Chris came over next day and walked the entire house with me. Listened to my concerns, gave his input, made suggestions on where outlets and switches should go, offered suggestions on lighting that I weren't even on my radar. The next day, his team of four is out there, all incredibly nice, personable guys, worked with my work schedule, dealt with my dog, answered questions, made suggestions, were in early and out before my kids came back from daycare, cleaned up like they weren't even there... Two days later the house is completely rewired, grounded, panel cleaned up, switches/outlets all work and are in the correct/convenient places, wires are in the walls where the should be. The best thing of all though is the lighting. Chris wasn't joking when he said we'd love his work... Chris is my go-to guy for electrical problems and I highly recommend him. We came home after being out for a few hours and our garage door opener did not work. All the electrical in our garage was dead! After a good while of troubleshooting the various breakers, upstairs and downstairs, we found that the garage was dead, along with the downstairs air conditioner. It was now 5:30 PM when I got to call Chris, and after a few quick questions he calmly and confidently walked me through resetting the garage GFCI, which immediately solved the problem! With Chris's good sense of humor he teased that I am now an Electrician, and he would not accept any compensation from me. Much later that night I checked the garage and everything was off again. Next day, Chris gave me more troubleshooting help, but when nothing worked, he made an emergency house call and after some good, experienced troubleshooting, diagnosed the problem, the water heater's recirc pump. Chris and his team have performed two large electrical jobs for me and both were an excellent experience. Chris is professional, treats your home like it is his and provides helpful experienced ideas that we really appreciate. Job 1) was for our outdoor patio to install 8 lights, 2 electrical heaters and a ceiling fan. The biggest technical problem was figuring out how to get enough power from the home to the patio. I had 5 bids, but Chris was the only one with a cost effective plan and his price was also slightly better than the others. Job 2) was to install 44 cam lights with dimmers throughout our home and remove the old lighting systems. This task was difficult because a large portion of the work had to be done in the attic by crawling around to the different locations. Our original plan was to install 37 cam lights, however once we had them installed, we realized there were still some dark spots so we installed 8 more and all of them look beautiful. Our home is completely different now with the old lights removed and now have numerous dimmers to adjust the lighting for the time of day and for entertainment. I had several bids for rewiring of my 1920's house. Energy Electric came in pretty much in the middle. I chose them because when Chris came over to give me the estimate, he was very professional, explained what I should expect with the process, and gave me an idea of some of the pitfalls that they might run into such as having to cut some holes in the plaster walls if they were not able to access the switches from the tiny crawl space. It turns out that I chose the perfect company. His crew was very respectful of my old house. They arrived exactly when they said they would, prepped the floors so that there would be no chance of damage, treated me with respect, and were very accommodating when I had a request. They were able to finish the entire job in 4 days with minimal wall damage. I have already told all of my friends about them and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
