    Tan Tan Ramen

Newish ramen spot on Atlantic Avenue in the old Gumbo Bros space. This was my first time visiting, but my husband's second. We started with the takoyaki octopus balls, which were well-made and very flavorful. And then we each got Ramen, I got the Shoyu which had a nice, light broth and my husband got whatever their super spicy Ramen is (I believe it is the Tan Tan but like, extra extra spicy). He demands a super spicy ramen and they delivered! Friendly and efficient staff. Stop by and grab a bowl!

The service was friendly and fairly quick considering the place was empty. The room is simple. Nothing fancy. They do serve the ramen with a bamboo/wooden spoon which I do not think is very hygienic although charming. The Tongkatsu kimchee ramen was ok. The egg was very unpleasant a bit green in the edges. The meat varied in cook - some lightly charred, some drier.. not great. The broth was good. The noodles good. Overall it was good but not a great bowl. It could have used some fresh greens.. $17 This is a city with great ramen.

what a great small ramen spot in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Pricing is fair, service is good, not too crowded, serving size is solid and broth is tasty. They have lunch specials for $15 M-F betw 1130AM-3P. Everyone seems to go with the Pai Tan Tonkotsu Ramen Hakata Style.

A lowkey ramen spot in the Cobble Hill neighborhood. I think it's fairly new. The place is pretty small but has about 5 tables and some counter seating. I ordered their signature pai tan ramen, spicy tan tan ramen, and gyoza. They charge $1 extra for spicy, which is disappointing since it really ain't that spicy at all. Heard the other table complaining about the spice level as well. The ramen was pretty good but nothing outstanding than the average ramen spot, in my opinion. The server was nice though; he seemed to be the only server manning the tables and placing orders.

I've had my eyes on this place ever since it popped up in my Yelp ads last week. I finally got the chance to after a long day of work. I went with my partner and we ended up getting the Enerugi Wings, Pai Tan Ramen, and their new Curry Ramen. The wings had a great flavor. Rather than being painfully spicy like I expect with most wings, it was refreshing! There was something about the pepper with the sauce that just felt spicy yet cool. When I took my first sip of the Pai Tan I felt somewhat underwhelmed. But the flavor sneaks up on you! As you eat more and more of it, the flavors of the soup melds together to create a smooth and creamy taste. My partner got the new curry noodle and we loved it! It has such strong flavors, and it definitely felt like it followed its own formula of flavors compared to other curry ramens I've had. Even though we were seated an hour before closing, we never felt rushed to finish our food. Like many other ramen places, Enerugi is small, but there's a coziness to it. There's nothing better than eating ramen with a loved one, and I really enjoyed the experience Enerugi gave me that I could do that tonight!

I and mu friend ate the curry katsu ramen was so good and the service also very nice.

I and my friend ate chicken katsu ramen and it was so good. The service also was so nice. As i ramen lovers iam so happy to find this place and thanks for making good ramen

It's quite busy but the turnover rate is quick. The restaurant is small but has a good amount of tables and counter seating. But I've got to say I am disappointed by my overall experience based on how popular this spot is. You order from a menu you can write on, which allows you to customize your ramen selections (noodle thickness, broth, add-ons, etc). I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with spicy added. While the broth is pretty good, I think the overall ramen is a bit lacking compared to other ramen spots. I did not realize the ramen did not come with any ingredients besides the chashu meat and some scallions sprinkled on top. So this spot really requires you to customize and add on toppings. Usually other ramen spots already have selection of toppings in each type of bowl. So overall, my ramen was pretty standard and nothing outstanding. I do appreciate that you can add half or full serving of extra noodles for $1-2 if you want more. Also, like others mentioned, Ramen Danbo received a C health code rating. I didn't see this until halfway through my meal, but I probably would not have ate here if I saw it beforehand. Quite appalling for a restaurant that doesn't even have an extensive menu. Overall, the service is okay... I can't say I had any particular issues BUT I just felt like all the servers gave off the vibe that they just hated their jobs or something. It was just the vibe I got but it could just be me.

An absolute gem in South Park Slope!…read more We happened to be staying at a friend's place a few blocks away and was looking for something open on the later side with great food. We searched Yelp and came across Konoba Yakitori, and it absolutely hit the spot. My daughter and I loved our entire experience--everything from the food to the local neighborhood vibe to the incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Everything we ordered was fresh, cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced. We had the gyoza, edamame, Hamachi Lover, Ebi Shu Mai, and the $15 Beef Set (three beef skewers), accompanied by hot tea and Ramune. The beef skewers were a highlight--tender meat with seasoning that was spot-on. Warm, welcoming, prompt, and super efficient. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and our waiter was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. Top-tier service all around. The space is small and cozy with a simple, comfortable design. Seating is a bit tight and close to neighboring tables, but there's nothing wrong with being snug, rght? It gets busy, but customers tend to eat quickly, so even without reservations, the wait moves well. Most importantly, despite it being a intimate spot, we never felt rushed at all. It's simple, which is what makes it amazing. An incredible restaurant all around--I love this place and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Honeycomb Platter, which came with a variety of appetizers like shrimp tempura, popcorn chicken, and tofu. I got the Yin Yang Ramen which was very good. I am picky with ramen because sometimes I feel like the broth doesn't have flavor but their ramen was tasty and flavorful. For dessert I tried the matcha pudding with red beans and fresh milk. First: got combo B which was the perfect amount for 2 people since it included an appetizer, 2 ramens, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. Left very filled and happy. Would highly recommend their lemonade and Thai tea! The popcorn chicken is more batter than chicken, so it's good if you like more of a crunch. The tonkotsu and miso ramens were good, but not particularly notable. Kyuramen is a chain after all, so the food quality gives that same vibe as comforting when you're just craving some. Second: Got the yakitori platter, beef ramen (seasonal) and curry ramen and I'd personally pass on all of them. Their meats are over cooked which makes them tough. Both times the service was fine, I appreciate the call button so both don't have to wait for awkward timing issues. I do like the aesthetic of the place, especially with the privacy of the room shades/dividers. p.s. don't forget their slurp and win program! When you drink all the broth, there's a word on the bottom (or not) where you can get a free popcorn chicken/drink/etc for your next visit. I thought the chances would be pretty slim, but I got a drink voucher my second time!

Overall, there wasn't anything special about the steamed dumplings. Iron Men (3/5): I was disappointed since reviewers said that the broth would be very rich but it did not have much flavor to me even after using their house chili sauce (+$2). I definitely tasted the Iberian pork undertones but overall, I thought it was watery and didn't have much flavor without the chili. The poached egg was perfect. The rosemary oil was very subtle (cool presentation as it was provided in a dropper!) The noodles were perfect--chewy and bouncy. I thought the 2 slices of pork were thin but tender, also more lean and not fatty (not as ideal so did not melt in your mouth). Expensive for a bowl with little meat ($23). I did not use the miso paste as I did not love the aftertaste, which admittedly could be why the broth lacked flavor to me! Nagoya Miso Katsu-Don (N/A): I tried a little of the dish. The amount of noodles is decent and the toppings are pretty good the egg actually come with both half's rather than one like some places so that's good, my only gripe is that the cha siu isn't heated through after being served which tells me that they didn't torch it for long enough before serving.
