    Creamy Udon noodles
    Julie Ying X.

I came here for dinner before heading to Barclays Center on a Friday night. I usually order their ramen but decided to try something different. I ordered the creamy udon with two shrimp tempura, mushrooms, and mentaiko (pollock roe). The udon was better than I expected. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. The portion looked small but it was pretty heavy and filling due to the rich cream sauce. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed. I would come back if I'm in the area.

We came here for a Sunday lunch. We were seated at one of those private rooms for two. One can hail the staff by pressing a button attached to the wall. Much to our delight, we received complimentary matcha pudding for dessert upon Yelp check-in. Since it was a ramen kind of day, my partner ordered Kyushu Tonkatsu shio, served with pork chashu, bamboo shoots, wakame, half-marinated egg, nori, and corn in a pork broth. My eyes caught the "couple ramen" of black and white Tonkatsu shio and black garlic Tonkatsu served with pork chashu and half-marinated egg. The matcha pudding dessert was perfect after a ramen meal. We enjoyed our visit here, with delicious portion ramen together with great customer service, and we will come back.

Came back to Kyuramen twice in 2 weeks last month! Initially we came after cheering at the marathon and to our surprise, two of the four bowls of ramen gave us free popcorn chickens on next visits. The ramen itself is also promising and served quickly after ordering. On both occasions everyone was satisfied with their orders. The second time I came was with the entire family. Five stars is really for the service the second time around- we had a lot of toddler/babies and we were a louder crowd but the servers were great and got us what we needed! Come for the ramen and great service!

On a blistery cold day two weeks ago, my friend and I had a very comforting lunch here. I like that they have booths with curtains, so you feel like you're in your own little bubble. Service was friendly and fast. There are great combo meals that we took full advantage of. We both opted for Combo A with Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, a steamed pork bao bun, and matcha pudding with red bean for $22.99, a really great deal. The ramen was just right, the kind of comfort food that we were seeking since it was so cold outside. The bao bun was soft and the pork tender and flavorful. The pudding was not too sweet, just the way I like it. Five stars for a great meal from start to finish. They just opened one in the Vegas Valley, so now I can look forward to going there.

Came here on a Friday night but luckily didn't have a wait. I loooove the style of this restaurant with individual dining spaces separated by curtains for privacy. It felt very cozy and comfortable. The service was so fast and everything was delicious. We tried the "new" strawberry mint mojito, which was so tasty. The veggie ramen with vegetable noodles was delicious as well. Will definitely be back. For the service and food quality it felt like a pretty good price point too.

First off, the waiters here are awesome and really lovely to talk to. No complaints about the service. It's also pretty narrow inside but clean and they have booths like all the other Kyuramen locations. I tried their Amazing Lemonade which is sweet, tart, and has cucumber too. Their Yakitori Platter is a great pick to try a variety of Japanese skewers. We also ordered the Popcorn Chicken before diving into their Yin Yang Ramen and Curry Ramen with chashu. The Yin Yang is a bowl with two ramen options so you can try both flavors and it has chashu pork and shrimp tempura. The curry one has a thick curry sauce and isn't spicy. The ramen is just okay. It's not mind-blowing. They also have the popular omurice here which comes with demiglaze or curry sauce. The Tonkotsu Omurice comes over a bed of fried rice and the pork cutlet on the side. I hated the taste of the fried rice. It was really bad. We ended with a Matcha Mille Crêpe cake slice which was decadent and yummy.

This location felt like a Japanese version of a diner. The menu is big and bold with a variety of ramen, rice, and yakitori dishes and combo meals. We came for an early dinner and were immediately seated in a booth with privacy curtains. The service is pretty quick and the food was comfort after a cold day outside.

My daughter surprised my for my birthday and dragged me a few boroughs to come here. It did not disappoint Get the strawberry mint mojito! Ok now, you are seated in these curtained booths for privacy and the menu is also on a QR code. We both got a ramen bowl (i can't recall which) but they were delicious. This is a really cute established with good food, drinks and service. We plan to revist this summer.

Kyuramen is one of my favorite ramen spots in the city! Each location never misses. The location in Park Slope is cozy - I have arrived here with big parties (was sent to sit in a large private sitting area in the back) and small parties (smaller booths that can fit 4 people comfortably) - they can accommodate any group size! My go-to order is the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu ramen. I usually do the combo order so I can also have a steamed pork bun and Thai iced tea. I also recommend the Salt & Pepper Crispy Corn as a side. It's so crunchy and flavorful.

Who doesn't love a combo?! At Kyuramen, you can get an appetizer, a ramen, a desert, a N/A drink, and a soju for only $40!! We love the ramen here. Tasty corn, great broth bases, and the meat melts in your mouth!

Came here with my family for an early dinner. We had a really good time. My family members enjoyed ramen for the first time. It was so fun. We got a private booth with a curtain. You press a button inside the booth to call the waiter over. It was nice eating with a little privacy. All the food was yummy.

Really excellent ramen. Love the convenience of the button to call for service and the booths with privacy curtains. Service was fast and the lemonade was the best I ever had in my life!

We came for Valentines Day dinner and they were busy, but we were seated right away at the bar. We got the combo for two which came with the miso ramen, tonkatsu ramen, popcorn chicken, two desserts, lemonade and thai iced tea. For the cost and the variety, it was definitely worth it. We loved the desserts, but the ramen was just okay. It wasnt too flavorful and felt small. The popcorn chicken was also extremely oily. We did enjoy the drinks though. The place itself is pretty small. The bar where we sat also felt a bit cramped.

It's quite busy but the turnover rate is quick. The restaurant is small but has a good amount of tables and counter seating. But I've got to say I am disappointed by my overall experience based on how popular this spot is. You order from a menu you can write on, which allows you to customize your ramen selections (noodle thickness, broth, add-ons, etc). I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with spicy added. While the broth is pretty good, I think the overall ramen is a bit lacking compared to other ramen spots. I did not realize the ramen did not come with any ingredients besides the chashu meat and some scallions sprinkled on top. So this spot really requires you to customize and add on toppings. Usually other ramen spots already have selection of toppings in each type of bowl. So overall, my ramen was pretty standard and nothing outstanding. I do appreciate that you can add half or full serving of extra noodles for $1-2 if you want more. Also, like others mentioned, Ramen Danbo received a C health code rating. I didn't see this until halfway through my meal, but I probably would not have ate here if I saw it beforehand. Quite appalling for a restaurant that doesn't even have an extensive menu. Overall, the service is okay... I can't say I had any particular issues BUT I just felt like all the servers gave off the vibe that they just hated their jobs or something. It was just the vibe I got but it could just be me.
