Decent little Italian place in the quickly developing area by the outlets, but the atmosphere is too fast-casual for the more extensive menu. Similar to many other strip mall Italian restaurants where you see pizza options displayed when you walk in, the minimalist decor and lack of sound absorption made this a bit louder and less comfortable than expected. An $8 10" vegetarian pizza was chock full of toppings and the crust had a nice crispness on the bottom, so a good value. The pasta dish we ordered was tasty and filling for $13. Bread and salad were run of the mill and unfortunately the service was a bit lacking, as we had to ask three time for our drinks (water), which were finally brought out with the food. Nothing outstanding about this place good or bad, it just seems to blend into the background when considering the variety and quality of culinary options around the metro area. Could be good for families or groups and the small patio could be nice in the warmer months. Local beers represented on tap. read more

This is a nice gem of a restaurant in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte. The menu is vast and there are plenty of options. The customer service can be a bit touch and go at times though. I've tried the pasta in the past and it's okay. Came in one evening and ordered a pizza. Been ordering it ever since. This restaurant is located in a shopping center and parking is plentiful. They where masks during Covid and there is social distancing in effect. If you come here, I highly recommend getting one of the pies with your favorite toppings. You won't be disappointed. read more

For Steele Creek, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I am pretty underwhelmed by the Italian restaurants in Charlotte. Mama Ricotta's is outstanding, but I have yet to find another Italian restaurant I would say is even above average. The decor has a nice modern rustic feel to it. There was no wait and only a handful of people there when we went. The service was fast and friendly. You get a ton of food. You start with bread, which I thought was pretty good. All of the pasta dishes come with a side salad. They used a spring mix which I'm always a fan of and the balsamic vinaigrette was very good. The portions of the pasta dishes are huge. It would definitely make sense to split them between two people. We got the penne vodka and the gnocchi. Both were pretty good. I wouldn't say they were outstanding, but good solid pasta dishes. My friend got the Sorrento and it was very fresh and pretty good as well. We finished with the seasonal sweet potato maple cheesecake which was delicious! This isn't a place I would rave about, but it was definitely enjoyable and raises the bar for restaurants in Steele Creek and Italian restaurants in Charlotte. read more

This place is good in every way! Fresh food made with just the right amount of sauce, delicate spices without overpowering....fresh food made with love. The outdoor patio is shielded so has separation from the outdoors. It's discreet. The inside is not quite as cozy but you have the A/C. The service is great. Jessica was attentive. Enricos has a very extensive menu. Meals come with authentic Italian soups, fresh baked bread. Shrimp is fresh. Lasagna homemade. I had an amazing dinner: linguine with shrimp, clams & calamari. It was light and clear bursting with flavor. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. It's authentic Italian. It was a delightful surprise. This was a nice little Italian place. I'd had a craving for Italian and decided to give this place a try. The menu is pretty extensive, most of your common dishes with some surprises. I started with an order of calamari. They were good. No complaints, but the marinara sauce that comes with it was delicious. It's so good you'll want a bowl of it by itself. They also bring out rolls to start the meal. I wish they would have been warm or another type of bread better for dipping. For dinner I ordered the chicken parm. It was classic. The chicken was nice a crispy and then topped with sauce an cheese. I also added a side of meatballs - the order comes with three and these were definitely the star of the evening. They packed so much flavor! And they tasted even better on the second day. #winning Overall, this is a pretty solid place. This place should close! I ordered Alfredo with penne noodles and chicken. The chicken taste watery, and the Alfredo sauce was very bland. Server was a young man, he was nice enough, but underwhelmed by his knowledge of the menu. They had nightly specials, but only on the board outside. We ordered a variety of food. Kids menu cheese pizza a appetizer. Meh, just okay. Glad I got it to see if I'd come back for their pizza, I wouldn't. Ordered soup (Buffalo chicken) when I asked the server what he thought of it?? Response was, it's popular but I've never tried it. Ordered calamari app for my meal, (only because it came w the tentacles and rings! I got ALL my food at once... pizza, calamari and soup. While my husband got his side salad that came with white onions. Never understood a restaurant putting white onions (not red) on a salad. Hubby ordered the Cajun chicken penne pasta. It was good, could have had more flavor in the sauce. Only thing "Cajun" about it was some seasoning on the chicken. But veggies and sauce weren't that flavorful. Save your time and just drop a box of spaghetti to boil. It took me ten minutes to get a soda in front of me, all the bread I was sent out were hard and burnt (when I asked server he said he would deal with it and then was never to be seen), the manicotti I ordered was severely undercooked and lukewarm. I have been searching high and low to find an italian spot on my side of town to replace house of pizza who in my opinion has the best lasagna dinner!!! Everything from the bread on down. I was just a little dis appointed that i still have not found that here at Enricos! The customer service here is definetly top notch the lasagna was ok but nothing to brag about i was expecting to have the loaf buttery garlic bread when instead the lasagna dinner came with italian rolls and butter, i will say their bar area inside of this place definetly stands out and i would frequent this spot for a glass of wine or so, i want to come back here and try the crab and spinach dip appetizer. I ordered dinner here last night (via UberEats) and it was really good! We tried got the Fettuccine Alfredo, the Gnocchi and the Primavera veggie pasta. The food was good and it was great portions and the bread was hot considering it was delivery! My personal opinion: The food is your basic Italian food. This was my first experience with the restaurant. I was craving gnocchi and I ordered take out. I had issues calling in around 4 pm. The person that took my order wasn't providing adequate customer service since I had a question a regarding gnocchi and she kept saying yes 1 order of gnocchi. It took 3 calls to place my order. Once I picked up my order i was pleased. The food was warm and delicious. I took away a star due to the service otherwise I will be coming here more often. I look forward to trying the pizza next. The food is bland no seasonings just sauce and they are very rushed in this restaurant. Service was terrible. If you have allergen issues please be mindful they are rushing in this place and will ignore your request. Luckily I inspect my food before eating to notice they kept adding cheese when cheese wasn't listed as an ingredient and I alerted I was allergic to cheese. They don't handle their mistakes right the 2nd order they just brought me pasta full of hot water missing my toppings, I was not ok with this at all. After 3rd order the Veggies were barely cooked I was over it at this point and just considered it a loss. The fact that they can't follow directions and correct an order after 3 times says a lot so I will not be returning bc of that. read more

Had a lunch date here with my friend a month or so ago. She suggested it since she used to work there AND HONEY! Let me tell YOU!!! The food was absolutely delicious!! The salmon caesar salad (w/o the olives) was the best salad I've had in a long time and I usually dislike going anywhere and paying over $5 for a bowl of lettuce. I also had some type of penne pasta with chicken and broccoli in it (chicken was added) and it was also to die for! Wow. This restaurant really tries hard, and it is succeeding. We love how the servers wear masks, most of the patrons wear masks when coming and going, and how well spaced the tables are from one another. Then, there is the fabulous food. Enrico's is small, quaint and a great addition to the steele creek food scene that has quite a bit of growing to do. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the place smelled like someone's old Italian grandmother was in the kitchen! The aroma was absolutely breathtaking and I couldn't wait to try the food! The menu is massive! Pizza, pastas, sandwiches, salads... Basically everything you'd expect to see at an Italian restaurant. There were a lot of things that I want to try so I can't wait to go back. I got the chicken cacciatore and my wife got the eggplant parmasen. Both were delicious. The pasta was amazing and seemed hand made. The vegetables and white wine sauce were perfect. I can't wait to go back! Pros: - Food is extremely authentic - Side salads are HUGE - Entrees are HUGE and after the side salad I couldn't even come close to finishing. This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Charlotte. I've been here probably 10 times for lunch since my office is really close by. I had been talking about it for so long, my fiancé wanted to go. We went last night and it blew him away. The food is just always delicious, cooked or baked to perfection, always a generous portion and the service is always friendly and attentive. 10/10 highly recommend! Try the baked ziti, chicken parmigiana, pizza, calzone, or anything really. You won't regret it!!! Also I want to add that the ambiance and decor is PERFECT. This is usually our go-to spot (order almost once a week) as it is nice and close and the pizza is quite good for the most part. We have noticed that they are pretty inconsistent in food quality and taste and sometimes the pizza is reeeeeally good and sometimes it is junk. Tonight was a junk night... the pizza was ok but what we were most disappointed in was the calamari. We ordered it the last time we ordered food from here and it was quite good but tonight it was insanely chewy, tasted fishy and the breading was really mushy. We also ordered wedding soup and it was absolutely disgusting. Neither my other nor myself could even eat it. Needless to say, we will be taking a break from these guys for a while.
