Went here for a belated birthday dinner because I wanted Italian, but nothing too fancy. We got there pretty early and had about a 10 minute wait for a table. The space is a little small. It was a mix of a casual pizza joint, sports bar and dining. It was a Sunday so football was on all the tvs. We were seated in the back and and saw two tables who were seated after us get drink orders in and served before us. We had to ask someone who our waiter was. He finally showed up and we ordered right away since we had plenty of time to look at the menu. I ordered cheesy garlic bread for an appetizer. And the penne arrabiata with meatballs as my main course. It came with bread and a salad. I got a Caesar salad. Another server who helped us originally find ours brought us fresh bread. Then everything came out in a strange order. My salad first before the appetizer. Then my husband's stromboli. Then the cheesy garlic bread at the same time as my pasta. And when my salad came out, I had no silverware and had to ask another server again since I didn't see ours. So for service, it was slacking. I think we really just had a bad server. We saw better ones at the tables beside us. For the food, portions are a good size. Some things were better than others. The cheesy garlic bread was not impressive. I couldn't taste any garlic and it was clearly a slice of cheese just melted on the bread. I was really craving something garlicky to dip into my sauce this was not it. But the marinara with it was really good and robust. The salad was pretty standard. No complaints. My pasta was really good. There were olives and prosciutto giving it an extra kick of flavor to the red sauce, but it wasn't too spicy. And the meatballs were okay. I'd still like to try more pasta dishes. Our server didn't ask about dessert and just if we were done. I then asked for some tiramisu. The tiramisu was good and filled the birthday craving I had. Overall, service could use some work, but portions and pasta were good. read more

Me and my family love Enrico's , we had Rebecca as our server tonight and she did an amazing job. For there being 14 of us, we didn't have to wait for drinks and our order came out correct. Deon was my waiter, he was so nice and attentive. I ordered the "veal piccata" and it was delicious and very tender. The bread was fresh and hot! The salad was the perfect size with greens and balsalmic vinaigrette. This restaurant is like being at home, it's a very comfortable atmosphere. I love this place! read more

Pretty disappointing dishes from Enrico's. We had delivery last Saturday night. The mainly iceberg house salad had a large piece of brown rotten lettuce on top. The mozzarella sticks looked like they came from Costco's freezer section. For some reason their balsamic on the caprese was light brown, not dark brown. And the primary flavors of the pizza were sugar and salt. Not sure if there were any spices included in the sauce. Would not recommend at this time. read more

Ordered take out today via their website where they're offering 20% off the first order. The food was done pretty quick, the portions are large and there were no problems with the special requests I added to the order. I gave 3 stars though because the food is so bland. Well at least the ziti was. There was no flavor to it. Lots of cheese and sauce but not real like seasoning or anything they left me wanting more. I ate half. The chicken Parmesan was good but doesn't come with enough sauce and towards the end you're left with a bunch of unsauced spaghetti. My salad was kind of brown like it had been sitting out so I didn't eat it and I was wishing the bread was like a garlic knot or something but it's just a basic roll. For a basic, plentiful meal with easy ordering I'd chose this place but if you like a bunch of flavor the food here unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. read more

My first experience at Enrico's was about a year ago. I ordered the supreme pizza for lunch. I was surprised to see a pizza which was a little bigger than the menu described. Jesus was the waiter and he was light hearted and pleasant. Needless to say, I keep going back and I have managed to get my wife to go with me. She was hooked on the first visit. We like to go for early dinner when the bartender, Chad, is there. What a great bartender. He was pleased that we ordered the Antipasto Rustico while having drinks. It was the best appetizer - for the money - that I have had in quite-a-while. And only $12. you will NOT be disappointed. Every dish that I've ordered, has been good. The marinara is the best. The gratis, fresh-cooked bread dipped into the marinara is just the icing on the cake. I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

The food is pretty good, especially for the Steele Creek area. We don't have too many options other than fast food and chain restaurants in this area. I think Enrico's will definitely see a decline in business when Olive Garden opens because it's the same type of food. (Not fast food and not upscale) Today I got the Alfredo for the first time and paid $7 extra for shrimp. The 3 shrimp placed on the top was all that was added. Pretty decent italian food near the premium outlet mall. I stopped by after a day of shopping at the premium outlet mall to grab some takeout. I tried the pizza and the baked ziti. I just ordered the small cheese pizza or the mini and it was pretty good. The baked ziti was just ok, as I've had much better. The baked dishes come with a salad and it was good. The staff was very nice and chatted a bit while my order was being made. I would probably return for pizza and maybe try something else on the menu like the garlic knots as I watched them being made while I waited for my pizza. This is a great location near the outlets and very spacious with lots of tables and I believe there was patio seating as well and a few TV's for watching games, etc. read more

Dialed in another visit to one of my favorites this week in Charlotte. This restaurant always has great service and happy servers. Ordered the Veal Saltimbocca. The meal came with a delicious side of spaghetti. Appetizer were okay, did not give me the WOW sensation. The entrees at this restaurant are authentic Italian with a Southern Italy influence. Wow! I just moved here a couple of mo ago and man am I mad at myself for not trying this place soon! Its game day and I wanted some gameday food and was craving pizza but decided that a calzone would a good choice and it was even better than expected. The crust was solid yet light and fluffy! The ingredients tasted fresh. Calamari isn't exactly game day food but since my team is playing the FL gators today, I decided that it would be a good sub for gator meat. The best Ive had ina while and they were good but id love if they would add hot peppers breaded and fried along with the calimari; it would be next level. Lastly, the Crab and Spinach Dip was absolutely the BEST I've had...EVER!!! I could eat it poured over pasta. Heck, I would eat it with a spoon like a soup! Awful excuse for an Italian restaurant. They have no respect for authentic Italian recipes, no talent in the kitchen, and in our case, they totally screwed up the separate checks. Their restrooms are one-at-a-time, which is inappropriate for a restaurant of that size (how long can you hold it? Keep holding it...). There was also dog crap on the sidewalk outside, and it had been there at least a day. For an extremely noisy restaurant which offers lousy food at high prices, this one is also placed in a depressing shopping center. There should at least be a view! read more

A little late, but catching up on reviews. We were really craving some Italian and wanting some lasagna for dinner on this cold evening. For the appetizer we ordered Crab & Spinach Dip and Mussels Marinara, Dinner: Baked Ziti, Lasagna, Lobster Ravioli, and Shrimp Scampi. The Lobster Ravioli and Shrimp was a little blah and could've been a little more flavorful for the price. We really loved the Crab & Spinach Dip, lasagna because it was the most flavorful dish of them all. These would be the two dishes that I recommend if you're planning to try this restaurant. I gave it four stars even though I didn't care for the other dishes the lasagna has become our family favorite so we will definitely be back for some good ole Italian lasagna. read more

My boyfriend and I come to this spot a lot since it's right around the corner from our house. I always get the same thing when I come and they are always consistent. My boyfriend loves the Italian wedding soup. He also gets the New York New York not on a bun on penne instead sometimes he gets it with garlic oil and sometimes Alfredo. All the food was horrible. The customer service was not great. My bf tried to order 3 different drink that they apparently were out of and they "didn't have a bartender" so he couldn't even order a cocktail. Yet someone had two cocktail while we were there.... So I'm confused. So he went across the street to the gas station to grab a drink. The rude lady came over and told us we could not have outside food or drink. Which is understandable if they had something he would actually drink(he doesn't drink soda). Also I waited for over 15 min to get my water refilled and the only reason I got a refill was after my bf asked!!! read more

I've passed Enricos many times - My neighbors love this place. They've said nothing but positive things about their experience. I decided to place a takeout order for an All white pizza, which is hard to find in the south. Most restaurants will give you a cheese pizza with tomato sauce - which is NOT the same thing. In bigger cities like Chicago or New York you can find an all white pie no problem. I've yet to find the "BEST" All white pizza pie.....until now. I ordered an All White with Spinach & Garlic (simple and delicious when done correctly). I am proud to report my order was FANTASTIC! Fresh, hot, and Yelp worthy! The owner is very nice and knew exactly what I wanted. I'm not ashamed to say, I ate more than 3 slices....no shame in my game. read more
