The rodents took a little longer, but that is now been resolved as well And what is great about the Citra's by monthly Service is if a flareup occurs outside of their normal schedule they will have somebody out to your home usually that same day to treat it. We went with Citra to begin with because their family owned and eco-friendly and competitively priced. We haven't had any issues with reactions either with ourselves or our animals including our Bird. But more importantly because of the expertise of the team members they sent out to do the services, they're all excellent, but I want give a shout out to Michael who really helped us understand why it would behoove us to allow an inside treatment which we had not done before. We had a flareup of ants inside the house, but couldn't find it where they were coming from. Michael was also very patient with us while we prep the house to leave for a couple hours. Upon a return, there was no odor and no allergic reactions to anything and we're looking forward to our Ant free house. Since I've been with Citra for over a year with great results, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to cure their insect or rodent issues.

Over the next two years, we hired two different companies to perform full removal programs. Both claimed they had fully inspected the crawl space and eliminated all entry points. Unfortunately, when the rats came back, neither company honored their warranties. We then hired 3 Step Rodent Proofing. During their inspection of the crawl space, they found and documented with photos all of the entry points they identified and sealed. In addition, the service technician discovered a water leak and showed us exactly where it was located. We would have never known about this leak without the photos he provided. We were shocked that the previous two companies never mentioned the leak, which turned out to be caused by a bad water pipe connection from the previous owners' remodel. After the work performed by 3 Step Rodent Proofing, the crawl space was rat-free. We did not see another dropping around the vents. About a year later, my wife thought she heard noises under the house. I was pretty sure the sound was coming from our HVAC system, but decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I contacted 3 Step Rodent Proofing, and they had a technician out within the week to evaluate the situation. They performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and the house and found no signs of rats. They also told me to call them back if we saw any droppings or heard any new noises. Based on our experience, they were the only company we worked with that was thorough, documented their work, stood behind it, and remained responsive after the job was completed.

We've had to call them back after the initial spray twice and the two week warranty is great. The ants usually stop becoming a problem after an outside spray of our house but this year they did not relent so we called pest med back alittle over two weeks warranty after the initial service but they were glad to come back to spray both outside and inside. Pest med is my go to for pest control!!

"Peninsula Rodent Control"... seemed obvious enough, so I called. Carlos said they could swing by and take a look. Carlos came by with Francisco and I greeted them at the front door. They said they would take a walk around and go on the roof and under the house to assess the job. In under 30 minutes he texted me to come outside. It could have been 15 minutes, but I don't want to seem like I'm exaggerating, LOL. It was FAST. NINJA FAST, know that. Carlos took me around and showed me SEVERAL nests they found as well as photos they took of entry points to the house. He assured me he would be able to help and I was SO ON BOARD. We set up a work day and they came back and completely RAT-PROOFED the house from the inside and out. HOME SECURED. Carlos knew the species of rat, its habits, and how to get the upper hand with little effort. He also showed me 5 rat nests on our property up in the trees. CARLOS taught me WHAT TO LOOK FOR when checking for activity, WHERE TO SET TRAPS outside and what kind of traps were best to get (and why!). I would also like to point out the fact that this was not the first time this family had "professionals" out to look for pest issues. Never once did anyone point out the fact that the foundation of the house was completely open on the front side allowing direct access to the rats! Nor did our weekly Landscaping service alert us of the 7 (yep, we had tree guys come to clean the trees and they found 2 more!) nests in the trees. They're also kind and respectful to me as a woman, which is a major challenge I've had with several other providers in this industry. When I called to schedule today, Joe wasn't there. He retired and sold to Aantex. I am very happy for Joe, but also incredibly sad because we truly value him and his team and will miss his expertise dearly. I will never forget his coaching on the "not scary at all" carpenter wasps coming into our house. :) It was a process getting set up with Aantex (e.g. online file, time windows instead of designated service times), but they say it is the same team coming out.
