We've used PestMed to deal with our Ant woes three times over the past two years. The first two times were reactive; we were dealing with an active argentine ant issue inside the house. The third time was a preventative treatment since we saw stragglers in our house in the beginning of the season. Our technician, Michael, has been nothing but amazing. He is very thorough in his explanations of his treatment, as well as in the application of the treatment as well. He also walks me through any notable spots in the house where he sees extra activity. There are small things like not spraying the front door until the very end, so I can step outside to talk to him before he leaves, that are such nice touches. A true professional! We've been using pest med for our annual ant problem every summer and we will continue to do so! Pest med provides quick, friendly, and knowledgeable service. We've had to call them back after the initial spray twice and the two week warranty is great. The ants usually stop becoming a problem after an outside spray of our house but this year they did not relent so we called pest med back alittle over two weeks warranty after the initial service but they were glad to come back to spray both outside and inside. We had an ant problem in our house, and PestMed offered a very reasonable price to take care of it. They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and were very easy to work with. After about 2.5 weeks we still noticed some ant activity, and they came back out without any hassle or questions asked. The technician took the time to explain why we were still seeing ants after the treatment and reassured us that it was part of the process. Short Story: A reasonably priced exterminator in Fremont. Long Story: I recently had an ant infestation and needed to call an exterminator. In looking through several companies I called 3 of them and Pest Med was the easiest to talk to and move forward with. They are reasonably priced, $99 per treatment. They'll walk you through what is required and what to do the days before, during, and after. For example, if they spray inside the house then you'll need to leave for about an hour. For the outside of your house you should stop watering the lawn/garden the day before and then restart 2 days after treatment. I worked with Michael and he was very courteous. He is quite knowledgeable about how to treat ants and keep them away! Verdict: I'm on a subscription plan with them! read more

We had PestMed quote us for treating for Argentine ants that kept coming into our house. Michael came out and quoted us for the service but let us know he could do a better job if we could clear the plants up against the house. He could have taken our money and done a less effective job, but he wanted to make sure we had an effective treatment. I stumbled upon Pest Meds after my regular service technician was no longer providing services in our area. Initial call was with Michael. He was able to schedule me an appointment within two days; as well as was very clear what to expect for our appointment. Services were very reasonable priced. He was on time, kind & professional . He inspected our home & gave us advice how we can seal gaps to prevent pests coming in. I appreciated there was no sales pitch or pressure for prevention services contract. We heard sounds in our attic space at night. Pestmed came out and found well over 40 points of entry outside that needed to be sealed. Fortunately nothing inside of the house. After sealing the openings, they put traps under the house and in the attic. They returned every couple of weeks to collect them. The sounds in the attic stopped almost immediately but it took a few months for the traps to be clear. read more

A noise under my crawl space woke me up. I opened a project on Yelp and got three quotes to get rid of whatever was down there. Pest Med was my third quote. Mike and Del Mar came over and Mike is professional and friendly but Del Mar was THE Rodent expert. Del Mar is the guy that should have his own TV show. He is very charismatic and knows his STUFF. Let me explain. He caught a few BIG things the first two companies did not catch. He went through my attic and crawl space and was not afraid to get in there. The other two companies did the same but they were not like Del Mar folks .... Del Mar reached every corner and taught me terminology and found several entry points but located what he called the "bore." He was not afraid to get his hands dirty. He set traps the next day and came back in a week to seal things. He would have set traps the same day but I had to go over things with the boss. He came back to seal the entry points to discover the trap got a pretty big one. They will come back in a week so I am hopeful the problem is remedied. As for price, one of the companies was close in price but missed some key things Del Mar found so they were out of the running. The second company wanted 8X what Pest Med and the first company quoted. That company wanted to do a whole bunch of unnecessary expensive things in my opinion. Nonetheless I couldn't be more happy with Mike and Del Mar's service. I would def recommend them for someone that needs results. read more

We have used Pest Med for both ants and rats. Their technicians are very knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. We have never had a problem with ants after they sprayed, and their rat specialists will ensure that your rodent problem is taken care of. They will seal your home and trap any existing rats, coming back as needed or at the very least every two weeks until they are sure the problem is resolved. They are also very honest. A rat got into our garage, likely through the garage door, which is unavoidable and something they warned us about (but it couldn't get into the house, because they previously sealed it). They informed us that since we had a couple days left on our warranty from last year's service, they would take care of it for free, even though the follow up visits to ensure complete extermination would extend past the warranty deadline. I have had a ant problem at my house for years now. Been using store bought "ant traps/baits" with minimal success. Recently the ants suddenly became much more aggressive. Leaving a cup with a bit of juice, crumbs, kids wiping their sticky hands on furniture...hundreds would descend within a few hours. I will RAVE all day to everyone about PestMed. Michael and Delmar saved my day when I found a rat (turned out to be 2!) in my garage. I was frantic not having been through this before. They were able to stop by on their way to another appointment and remove the rodents, gave me options for traps, and recommended a door sweep to prevent them from entering the home. Delmar checked around to make sure there weren't any others too. I cannot express how thankful I am of their services, patience, and giving me good recommendations moving forward. I live in a townhome community so they guided me through potential openings they may enter through and gave advice on having HOA inspect the exteriors and shared walls to address ways they may get in. We're on a weekly check of the traps and inspection for the next month which gives me assurance since I cannot handle these kind of problems myself. Highly recommend them! What can I say about this terrific team? Not only did they efficiently get rid of our rats in our attic in about two days... They kept coming back to follow up. Jorge and Delmar went above and beyond every single time they came. Old rat nests got cleaned up in a few spots and even better... When they had to come back and change the type of cover on the dryer trap, they saw a hole another electrician had left since they've been there. And without even asking, they filled it. Have had a couple rodent scares over multiple houses. These guys are always responsive and accommodating and most of all competent. They were quick to respond and come out and set the traps and retrieve them, but the inspection rep did not do a thorough job of checking the rest of the house and simply focused on the area of concern.
