My first time. Cool vibe with indoor outdoor dining. Heat lamps and blankets if it gets chili outside. Tv if you want to catch highlights or watch cnn. Service was prompt and very polite. I got the chicken flautas with pico degalio, two carnitas tacos with one Al pastor with tomatillo sauce and onions. All extremely good. Seasoned to perfection. Chips and salsa were fresh . Definitely will be back!

Decent breakfast burrito..I had the egg and chorizo and added potatoes. My friend got the grilled fish burrito. It was decently sized and the chorizo and potatoes were good. The staff was very nice and attentive. There are lots of TVs for sports viewing.

Because our last time there our server, I wish I remember her name, but she is in the late shift, recommend us to come back and have a Pozole, we did... I know it's easy to label a Mexican restaurant, but the pozole was great, plenty and rich... it remind me of the ones I have had in Cuernavaca south of Mexico City. It takes a few minutes more than the regular taco, but it's worth it. We also had some taquitos con crema... the place is opened in a terrace, maybe very different that all the other Tarascos but that's what makes the difference... we can say it's in North Redondo border with Gardena.. try it!!!

My college years were filled with El Tarasco meals, mostly at the Rosecrans location. I was happy to find this one near my best friend's home in Redondo. This location is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. The service is quick, but not very personable. But the food is as memorable as was my college days.

The service is amigo friendly and the food is bueno good. Their Taco Tuesday special offers 3 hard shell crispy crunchy tacos with a soda (and 1 free refill) for $13. Usually single tacos are $5, so you're saving about $5 with this deal, factoring in the price/value of a soda/soft drink, plus they give free chips and salsa to the table. Parking is somewhat easy as they have a private customer parking lot and the adjacent residential streets in the neighborhood are accessible for free (no meters) public parking. Just look for street cleaning signs.

Although I ate half of my Nachos , thought I'd share a picture anyway I decided to try this establishment because Rods a few doors down stop making my Wife's favorite burrito, We've made this our favorite Mexican Restaurant. The seating is a tad smaller than most places, but I've yet to have an issue with finding a seat (and there's even a few out on the patio). I had and recommend thier burrito, nachos and street tacos. My wife recommended the tamales, the look absolutely delicious. The service was on point and overall decor and feeling was great Almost forgot, some reviews stated service was bad, I had no issues, the staff checked our table and refilled my drink and chips often.

While not a large chain, El Tarasco is family owned and has quite a few locations in the South Bay area, this is one of their newer locations and the food quality and taste is the same at other locations I have been to. Prices are about average for a sit down, quick dinning location. They have daily specials, had the 3 Taco plate for lunch on a Tuesday, $11.50 + tax and tip. Does not include beans and rice so you will need to add if wanted. Staff was attentive, food was good, small parking lot in the rear and limited street parking.

I ordered a Carne Asada burrito & this is what I got no cheese on the top barely has sauce They used to be the best place i'm done

Service I was there last week took a half hour for them to come to my table and the two girls that waited on me like always when I used to love the place are rude now because it's too busy for them

So nice to have El Tarasco close to the house again. I like this location a lot. It's clean. It's open. The music is great. Letty helped us with all of the specials. The kids have great deals on Wednesdays. I enjoyed their happy house taco specials. I highly recommend.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all just perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans and loved it too. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

Prices are reasonable, and the views are as good as they get with unobstructed views of the harbor all the way to Palos Verdes. The restaurant is clean, new, and TVs with sports even in the dining room (perfect for watching World Cup matches while dining). The only critique I'd offer is I wish they didn't use the end pieces of the loaf of bread for french toast--made the pieces tough. But the other breakfast items were great, as were the salsa, guac, and tortilla chips. What a gem to have in Redondo, especially for it being reasonably priced and accessible (wasn't a problem getting a reservation). Hope this place can stay busy enough to stick around for a while.

The margaritas tasted like dirty water completely watered down with no flavor at all. They were honestly some of the worst we've ever had. If you decide to come here, I'd recommend sticking with a beer and maybe a quesadilla, since those are pretty hard to mess up. It's really disappointing that every part of our experience fell short, because I would have gladly given a higher rating if there had been at least one standout. Sadly, there just wasn't

The ambiance was great and it was a really nice spot in front of the Pier. We sat outside since it was good weather, I didn't account for the afternoon chill though once the sunset. Good thing to keep in mind when choosing outside or inside. The inside was really pretty (saw this on my way to the restroom later) so I wish I would have chosen to sit inside. Now for the food, this was really the only let down. The guacamole and chips were started with was okay, slightly bland in flavor. I got the fish tacos, my husband got the Chipotle Pollo y Hongos (listed as a house specialty), got a taco and nacho plate for my kids off the kids menu. The rice was like a green rice, super bland and dry and this came on both of the adult plates. The red rice that came with the kids food was actually better. The refried beans tasted like something that came out of a can, dry as heck and again, bland. Fish tacos were meh, fish was fishy and the slaw it comes with did not have the flavor I am usually looking for when I think fish tacos. My husband's chicken was yummy, and I wished I had gotten that instead. Only con was the dry rice and beans it comes paired with. Maybe my biggest gripe was the food not tasting authentic at all, and this Mexican girl loves her Mexican food, or maybe I just got the wrong plates. In my experience, if the basics are wrong (rice and beans) the rest has little hope. However, I must say that Dessert was amazing, I got some kind of yummy ice cream (maybe the Helado Frito?) to blow out my birthday candle. It was the silver lining for sure :) Service was great, and they were very accommodating. I felt bad telling them I hated the food but I wanted to write an honest review for those, like myself, who rely on reviews when choosing a good dinner spot.
