Drove up and dropped it off, it should have been a few hours, so I guess 2-3, nope 5. But, they gave us a loaner (Velar) and my wife and I went to lunch and a little light shopping, so thanks to LR, we had a lovely afternoon. Car was ready when they said and washed, which in Pollen season is always nice. My experience with this dealership and their sales manager, Chris Dixon, was terrible. They sent me an offer on a vehicle, and I paid a reserve fee to hold it. Then Chris called me in a panic, saying his boss had "just cussed him out" and that he had to retract the offer. He refunded the deposit and sold the car to another party the same day. Service Department are THIEVES! Went in for an oil change and agreed to pay $600 but two days prior my "breaks pads" light came on. They attempted to get me to pay $1900 to replace pads, rotors and censor line. I was told by a secondary market provider that my censor line had broken off which leads the light on my dash coming on. These people are crooks! I traded it in for another vehicle the following week. Fields Auto is completely untrustworthy. And while Jatin Handa was lovely to work with he never followed up w me as promised, prior to me leaving a review. Hence this transparent review. Do better! read more

I have taken my car here 3 times now. Once was towed here late at night. The customer service writers give wonderful communication and I can really appreciate the text directly to them with questions or concerns. I love that you get video of the work done and they show you what's wrong and explain it. I've never had that experience of transparency and detail. Everyone here is so nice and when I was told to go to the "kitchen" and grab some breakfast while I waited...I was blown away there's an actual kitchen and a chef that works here and cooks food!! I had a wonderful breakfast sandwhich which helped made me feel a little better about things. Pricing is expensive, but it's Land Rover and it's 2024. Just wish the oil change could be cheaper than it is at least. That seems a lot more than what it could be. Everyone here bends over backwards and keeps you informed. I also had an occasion to receive a loaner car since I only have 1 vehicle which is a very nice courtesy or I'd be stranded. If you sadly have to take your car anywhere to be worked on, I'm sure glad mine can come here. I wouldn't go anywhere else with her. read more

First I do not own a Range Rover not to say I haven't tried. The first dealership I went to was in Clearwater Fl where I have a home. I couldn't get the salesman out of his chair to show me a car, he just point and said it's over there. Lol. Oh well, I quit looking at RR and went about my way. Within a week of buying the vehicle, I had to replace the battery at my own cost because this dealership does not provide service for my car. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I took my car in for a recall and a service That costed me $500. (This only included an oil change.) Two months after my service, I had service lights come up on my dash. It took them an additional two months to make an appointment for them to fix the dash. When it was finally time for my appointment, they charge me an additional $150 to make the service light disappear. They told me that if I wanted the full "service" that it would be $1200. The minimum service was $500 and all it really covers is an oil change. This is absurd even for a luxury car. I will never buy from Land Rover/Jaguar again. read more

I tried several times to provide Land Rover of Jacksonville the opportunity to right their wrong but they declined to do so each time - customer service was essentially non-existent as it seems to come in as a distant second place to the almighty dollar. This truly felt like the quintessential "used car sales horror story" - BEWARE I went to Land Rover of Jacksonville to purchase a used 2017 Chevy Tahoe listed for $30k on auto-trader. Upon arrival I was told that the price had been reduced online in error and the actual price was $39k. After test driving the vehicle I pointed out two noticeable body issues to the sales person, who acted surprised by them (front right qtr panel and bumper are both damaged, as well as the rear bumper). After some discussion she informed me that the dealership intended to repair the body issues and verbally offered me a price of $38.5k (after repairs were made). I was unhappy with the sales person's refusal to honor the price posted on auto-trader in error or even attempt to make make a deal on the car so I escalated the situation to General Manager, Jim Moyer. Hoping that Jim would be willing to make some sort of deal, considering the error on the dealership's behalf and damage I pointed out on the vehicle, I asked Jim if we could negotiate to buy the vehicle in "as-is" condition but the best price he offered was $37k. read more

We had very good experiences with them servicing our Range Rover Sport on several occasions. Accordingly, when we decided to trade in the Sport, of course we were going to give them the chance to show us if their excellent business practices extended to the Sales Department. UPDATE: We were able to find the general manager's phone number and finally got him on the phone. Within 15 minutes of that conversation, the service advisor called us back and told us they would send us a check to cover the rental. We received the check about 10 days later. Thank you for your help solving this problem. ORIGINAL: From a service perspective, I am very disappointed in this Land Rover dealership. In May our Land Rover Discovery broke down on a road trip to FL. This was the nearest dealership and so roadside assistance towed us to this location. It was a substantial issue that required our entire engine to be replaced (all under warranty) and it took almost 30 days for it to get done. We picked up the vehicle on June 12 and got about 30 miles down the road when the check engine light came back on. So we returned to the dealership. They didn't have a loaner so they got us a rental car and we were told by Robert our service manager that Land Rover would pay for the rental. We continued on our way and the repairs were not complete until late in the day on June 28. We returned and picked up the vehicle on July 2 on our way back through Jacksonville and returned the rental car. About two weeks later, we got a call from the car rental place asking for authorization to bill the rental. We referred them back to Land Rover, and also called Land Rover twice, leaving messages both times for Robert our service person. Robert never returned the calls. Then on July 16 a $663 charge from the rental car agency appeared on our charge card (not authorized), and we left another message for Robert. STILL no return call. I can see ya being responsible for the rental car July 1 and 2, but the rest is on Land Rover. Yet they won't fix the issue. Do not use this dealership for warranty service unless you want to pay for your own car. Liars. read more

There seems to be a lack of training and communication between departments and overall smooth operation. BUYER BEWARE! Land Rover Jacksonville sold us a damaged(undisclosed) 2022 Land Rover Discovery as a "brand new" vehicle last year. When we picked up the vehicle it was noted that one small rubber seal on the driver's side, rear door window was damaged and in need of replacement that the dealership did not have in stock. Shortly after taking the vehicle home, we noticed that the white paint on the driver's side rear door was yellowing. After inquiring with this dealership and being told that it was not damaged and dismissed our concern we went to another JLR dealership and they confirmed that the vehicle was in fact damaged and that they could see the reports within their system for it. We then went back to this dealership and were told different stories by a sales manager and a service manager. In the fall after not getting any help from this dealership, we began reaching out to JLR corporate and have been strung along in the hopes of a resolution for months. In a follow-up with the second dealership that verified our damage, we found out that there were actually two reports within JLR system that there was damage that was repaired on both driver's side doors! We are still trying to resolve it with corporate, but are being told that because the dealership is not cooperating that it is dragging out the issue of our case. I currently own 3 Land Rovers and have been a customer since 2004. This experience is such a stain on their brand. If anyone has higher-up contacts at JLR North America or Fields Auto(owner of JLR Jacksonville) please reach out with details so we can try to elevate this issue of consumer fraud. read more

I have always been a fan of this location and taken my vehicle for service when needed, but this last time I took my vehicle in, due to a vehicle recall, I was met with nothing but unsatisfactory results. I took my vehicle in during late December 2020 because my windshield was leaking rain water into my cabin space. They explained there was a recall and could not provide a loner car. They ended up giving me a rental from enterprise, which is totally fine. Then, a few days later they called to tell me they have a loner car and I needed to bring the rental back to do an exchange. I live in Saint Augustine so it is a bit of a drive but I understood. I get a new loner car and it works for the meantime, but almost a whole month passes by before they call to tell me my vehicle is ready to be picked up. We drive down there to pick it up and it isn't even ready. We sit and wait almost an hour and what we were met with is unacceptable. I felt like my car was given back to me in worse condition than we had dropped it off in. There were two used covid masks left behind by employees in my car and my windshield still had tape in place to hold it in. Also, the the pillars weren't even set back into place and there was sticky residue on it too. The pillars were sticking out! Unbelievable to say the least! To top it off, the service lady who called us to tell us it was ready, hadn't even checked on this prior to our arrival. She left for the day! I was appalled with this being a luxury branded company. We told the man who brought us our car that it was unacceptable and he agreed with us! What??!!! We told him we were dissatisfied and that we would be back to pick it up when it was corrected. Come to find out in the process... they had given my loner car away. Now I'm in another car. Car 3! Drove it back home and called the manager the next day. Explained everything that had happened up until now and he told us he would call us back to see what he could do to make this right. He also ended up asking us if we had left the covid masks in the car?? What? That is just rude. My car is my pride and joy and I take good care of it. Anyways, he never ended up calling back. We called them back and they couldn't do anything as far as customer service goes. No type of consideration or any type of agreement was reached. We are very unsatisfied customers. We had a Great Experience finding a new LR Discovery. Randi Pannick was our saleswoman. She went above and beyond! Had constant communication. Was easy to contact via phone, text, and email, even after hours and one weekends. Infinitely better experience than we had with our previous cars at Tom Bush BMW in JAX. I Don't know about the buying experience here but the customer service and turnaround time on maintenance issues is horrendous! Vehicle has been there for 17 weeks since may 19th. Honestly for this review there should be a poop emoji for the crappiest maintenance performance and customer service I have ever witnessed in my life regarding Shawna Johnson and her range rover repairs First As a veteran and maintainer on 3 different air-frames, it is sad to see a vehicle repair take longer than any aircraft repair that I have ever come across in the Air Force. I've worked on the largest aircraft in the military the C-5 and I was apart of 4 engine changes.....on what is compared to a 747, it never took us more than 2 weeks to remove an engine, install it, and ops check good. Second whether or not your facility is at fault or was having issues with the warranty company on why they denied the claim for the repair, (which safeguard has claimed that any damage found to the valves were in part to your facility maintenance actions) you shop should have done whatever was necessary to get the car put back together and running either way. lets put this into perspective. when I asked Andrew, would the timing chain repairs be covered by your dealership for an x amount of time after your repairs, Andrew stated yes the repairs would be covered by your dealership concerning those exact repairs to the timing chain. Now if your shop had done the minimal repair which was the timing chain and put everything back together, and we had driven off the lot, and 20 miles down the road the engine light came back on, any smart person would drive it right back to your dealership and you would have taken responsibility for whatever was wrong. This is what Andrew claimed. So being that the range rover was put back together, and y'all had determined that there was something still wrong with the engine, why not just take responsibility and work diligently to get Shawna Johnson her vehicle back in proper working order. now the vehicle has been there since may 19th..... If Shawna was not financially stable to deal with paying for rental cars for 5 months, if this had been someone else without the support to survive this, your dealership would have gotten over, but this is not the case here. she has paid 5-6 months of car payments for a range rover she so dearly loves but cant drive. she has been paying for rental cars that she does not like. she has had to take time away from her business to handle this whole ordeal which should have never happened at all. Also, The Gm of Acura next door to you and the president has been more helpful and communicative than whoever is running that dog and pony show you have going on over there. Third Shawna is so in love with the Range Rover that even though this has been a burdening situation for her and very disappointing, whatever restitution is recovered out of this, shes has contemplated on buying another range rover once this is done, but she will make the trip to orlando or miami, or maybe even atlanta rather than spending her hard earned money at your dealership. If this situation had been taken care of professionally, y'all would have had another customer but that has changed and we will spread this review, copy and paste this review as many times as it takes until your dealership gets its act together and Ms, Johnson's vehicle returned in proper working order with no engine lights on. There will be a judgement in this as to who is responsible, land rover or safeguard warranty, but in general, your customer service could have taken a more professional route in fixing this situation. I had a malfunction with my driver door preventing me from opening it on the inside and outside (having to crawl out the passenger side tends to be problematic with my wife and 10mo daughter) Initially I was told the appointments were as far as 2 weeks out, when I stopped by the dealership the service manager not only understood my dilemma, he had the shop fix it immediately.(thankfully it was a quick fix) The level of courtesy and understanding was truly amazing and I will be taking my Range Rover here from now on. I am beyond frustrated with Land Rover Jacksonville. In December 2016, I took delivery of a custom ordered 2017 Range Rover Evoque from Arostocrat Land Rover, Merriam, KS. In January 2018, I relocated to Tallahassee, FL. Immediately prior to my relocation, I called Land Rover Jacksonville to inquire about their service arrangements for Tallahassee customers, particularly since I had purchased a prepaid maintenance package. I was very clear that I purchased my vehicle in Kansas. I was informed that concierge services were available at no cost to the customer. After arrival in Tallahassee, I called dealership to discuss a minor service issue and was told that concierge services were not available to me since I did not purchase the vehicle at Land Rover Jacksonville. Early last month I called the dealership again to arrange for my two year service. Since concierge service was not available, I planned to drive to Jacksonville. My appointment was scheduled for 8 AM, Saturday, January 12. At the time I made the appointment, I requested a loaner vehicle. The service advisor confirmed a loaner would be provided to me. I called today to confirm my appointment and availability of the loaner. I was informed a loaner would not be made available since I did not purchase from Land Rover Jacksonville. I was told however, I could rent a car. The failure of this dealership and its representatives to provide consistent answers is beyond troubling and represents incompetence at best, or more gravely, a lack of integrity.
