Horrible!!! Left me on hold 13 minutes, then told me the pick up car from Simpson GMC was 5 mins away. 30 minutes later, the pick up car showed up. Then waited from 4:05 to 5:20 for a car. The whole 'enterprise' ordeal was 2 hours +. And I forgot to mention from when I posted this originally fifteen hours ago, this elongated 'enterprise' initiated into a headache. No one ever likes getting into a car accident because it leaves you carless which isn't quite helpful when you have a full-time job to get to. Thankfully, our insurance covers a rental so we decided to go with enterprise. We had visited a different location but they didn't have the car we needed in stock so they referred us here. This lot was super busy and packed when we arrived. Even then, the team here provided fantastic service and got us the car we needed in less than 30 minutes. I also wanted to give props to the guys driving and Tetris-ing the cars in the lots. I watched them park and repark other cars with so much ease in such a tight spot. There are truly great people working here and plenty of car options to select from. read more

There was a situation where I had to exchange a rental car due to an accident, and the car was originally rented from a different Enterprise branch. According to Enterprise's policy, it's possible to exchange a car at another branch. However, when I first called this branch, they lied and said it wasn't possible, claiming they couldn't do it. When I asked why it was possible at other Enterprise locations but not there, they dismissed me, saying they were too busy and told me to call back later because there were currently 10 people waiting. The next day, I visited the branch in person. They told me that all cars except for a small compact were reserved, and they had no idea when other cars would be available -- offering no real help. However, when I checked online, I could clearly see that various cars were available for reservation, proving they had lied again. The female staff members at that location seemed to lie easily to customers and showed a lack of basic business ethics. They are in serious need of training in professional conduct and customer service. read more

They will upsell you on extra coverage insurance when your own insurance company will cover you if you're in an accident. Of course they don't tell you to check with your insurance company. They instead recommend the extra insurance which over the course of close to a month, cost us close to $700. All while our personal car was being serviced for a recall at Toyota the entire time. Check with your personal insurance companies before letting these thieves push extra insurance on you. read more

So I have to get a rental car from them 6/18/25 I had to leave my truck at Simpson Buick for service so they had no loaners at the time and made me go down to enterprise. They told me I had to get a GMC that they would have a truck there for me they give me a Chevy Malibu I tell the girl Alexa that it kind of smelled and she tells me she doesn't really notice it so I'm at the dealership and I have the dealer guy come out and I tell me this car smells like shit and he laughs and says smells like a little weed really pissed off that I had to grab this car these people should take better care of their cars. That's the reason why I gave them a one star the girl was cool. The porter should've realized that that car smelled like weed he had just washed it. read more

I was returning my rental and one of the enterprise drivers got off his wagoneer and started scolding me, said I didn't know how to drive because he was blocking the entrance, i was coming in with a suburban and he pulled out of a parking to make a left but it would have hit the carwash wall and he was coming out in a wagoneer, i was pinned on the right with parked cars and if i squeezed through i would have hit the back bumper, he got off and scolded me, a young female rep came around popped her head but didn't engage and walked away, the old man looked like he was taken out of retirement has no business driving anymore let him retire already. read more

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I reserved a Chevy Colorado; it wasn't available to I received a free upgrade Dodge Ram. Kept it for about 24 hours for $100 unlimited miles - now that's a deal. I received my deposit money back in 2 days. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes each visit. Staff is friendly and genuinely seem like they want to improve the location. I would recommend coming here (with a prior online reservation). read more

So I have come here 3 times to replace the vehicles they have given me. The first one the gentleman that was helping me literally rushed this old man out of the car, vacuumed it and placed me in the vehicle. Mind you, I had a reservation for a different car under my insurance which he refused to put me in. Me being a push over, I let it slide passively and took the vehicle. The gentleman who helped me basically told me that if I didn't like the car, to just switch it out the next day. He also added a protection plan to the vehicle that already was a mess that I did not want, It smelled of cigarettes, barely had gas, and had a check engine light on. They put a 100$ deposit on this vehicle and charged me about 31$ for the protection I didn't need. My insurance covers me. The next day, I returned the vehicle. I was placed in a 2nd car. This vehicle didn't have much gas, but was clean inside. I drove this vehicle to work 1 day. The check engine light went on. Thus, having to return the vehicle to get ANOTHER. The third time I dealt with the branch manager Brandon. He was a super kind guy, but again... placed me in a vehicle that smelt so bad of marijuana and cigarettes and half tank of gas. The check engine light was on and the key fob didn't work to turn on the push to start or open the vehicle. I was left stranded out side of this car at mid night where my hospital and place of work is surrounded by 5 gangs in Anaheim. This is unacceptable, especially being a young woman left vulnerable, unable to get into her car quickly and safety. Lastly, when I returned the vehicle they charged me for gas ) though I paid to refill it the way they gave it to me) and sent me on my way. I highly do not recommend this place. The customer service is terrible. Besides my experience I heard them talking to another gentleman about a vehicle I had used prior thats brakes were so badly worn they snapped! I am terrified of their maintenance of these vehicles and will not be using them again. Especially after the traumatic experience that had led me to rent in the first place. read more

I took my car to Ken Grody Ford to figure out what was wrong with my 3rd battery in 3 years. They stated they would need at least 2 days to review so I rented a car at Enterprise Rental in Buena Park. I walked in and was greeted very professionally by the branch manager Nick Morrison. He helped me with the seamless reservation. The assistant manager Jamie Ryoo put me in a great little Nissan Rogue. The car was great and clean. When I went to drop off the car yesterday Jamie Ryoo was all alone and had 4 clients waiting in the lobby. She never lost her professionalism and treated all of us clients so well along with answering the phones off the hook. Overall experience 5 Star! First off, parking sucks at this establishment. It's quite the liability in terms of not allowing for flow of traffic through this parking lot. I've been in the lobby for assistance, and there's no engagement or acknowledgment, let alone a question whether we've been helped. I understand that things such as these incidences happen, but this was a joke. I've been a customer of Enterprise Rent-A-Car for going on 20 years. I have never had any issues no accidents not even a scratch on any of their cars and I have been relatively happy with the service. Today. when my car broke down I made a reservation for a location here on Beach Boulevard, I was getting the rental car for free because of my Enterprise plus points so it only cost me a dollar, but a deposit was $300 was required. I only had $250 my account and so they refused to rent me a car due to my not having this full $300, I asked one of my friends to cash app me $50 so that I would have the full $300! But unfortunately they would not accept cash app card and then after instantly cashing out it left me $4 short. and I still was not able to rent a car from these folks because they wouldn't even accept $296 as my deposit. They wanted he entire $300 deposit and not a penny less. I have rented cars on numerous occasions and I have had deposits reduced and even waved at other locations but not this place on Beach Blvd they would not budge and it was never a concern that I have health conditions including diabetes with swollen feet not to mention it was extremely hot this day. These employees are so concerned with the full $300 deposit that they didn't care in the least about me or anything except a full $300 deposit for a one day rental . Whoever hired these folks should be very glad to know that they will be the most penny pinching mizers that they were trained to be. I would not be surprised if they scrutinized the returned rentals and found that you still owed them twenty five or fifty cents for gas and it would just thrill them if they spotted a scratch on one of their rentals.Lastly they will interrogate you and make you show them current mail documents proving you live in the same place as what is on your drivers license. Bring current utility bills, proof of car insurance, and don't be short a single dime of $300 for a one day rental on their cheapest car. read more

I needed a car for a couple days while mine was in the shop. No problems at all. Only thing was there was close to no gas in there when I picked it up (said 30 miles left), but needed to put in 1/4 tank upon return. I didn't really go anywhere, maybe 20 miles. I asked for anything but a Ford and they were able to accommodate. Car was nice, clean inside n out... Rav4. Nothing super fancy but just needed a small suv in case I had to pick up family from the airport. They were nice, asked if I needed any assistance on how to work the features of the car also. I've rented through Enterprise a handful of times - this location was the first time and won't be my last experience. My flight arrived late on a Saturday diverted from the hurricane. I called this location and spoke with Barbara (I think that was her name). I informed her that I would be late - I was also worried that they would close the door on me since they closed at 12PM. I arrived at this location at 12:10PM - they were still taking care of guest. One employee was visibly annoyed that there were still customers in the building. I'm glad I didn't have her assist me. The associate checking in guest - was very patient - which I needed since I had a Very long travel week. Thank you for being understanding and helping me as quickly as possible. Thank you for thinking about your guests and not closing the door. My 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was too big for just one person - but what a great car to have for a few days! The rental was on empty when I drove it off the lot - I did let her know and she felt so bad and offered to put gas in it. I was more than okay with filling it up myself, however, I did let her know that I will return it on empty. We laughed and went on our day. Thank you so much! I'm extremely satisfied, with my experience at this location. All the team, Jasmine, Hugo, Jason, I'm sorry if I don't recall everyone's names. But they were all very nice, friendly and polite. My vehicle had been getting service at a nearby dealership and I had rental for three weeks. They were very understanding of my situation and they did the best they could to accommodate my situation, as soon as they were able to get me into a bigger vehicle they contacted me right away and with a smile and a friendly attitude they helped me and got me in and out in no time. I've been to other rental branches and they don't compare at all. I give this entire team an A+ a 10 out of 10. They are fast, friendly, efficiently and they are great at driving and maneuvering the vehicles in a small space. If you have the distinct misfortune of having to come here because your car is being serviced nearby and you need a loaner, you will be picked up from your dealership about 20 minutes after promised, dropped off at a decrepit corner with an Enterprise sign on it and have to stand outside waiting because the inside of the tiny building is for employees only during COVID. You will walk around the rental car pointing out all the scratches (which will all be too small for them to register) and of course be subjected to being marketed the various insurance plans. You will be informed that if you smoke or bring pets in the car, you will be hit with a cleaning fee. When you enter the vehicle, it will absolutely reek of smoke. The USB port will be unreliable. If you have a choice of rental car locations I encourage you to go elsewhere. If not, good luck! read more

It was a Monday, raining and pouring, my wife, sister, and I arrived to pick up our reservation for a mini-van at 7:30 am. We got to the location about 10 minutes early because we wanted to be the first ones in line to get our vehicle and head to Vegas. I saw what looked like a few cars queuing up on 11th St(smaller residential street) about to enter the gate. Half the gate was open and the cars entered. We weren't sure if we could go in so I got out in the pouring rain to ask the man who was standing under the awning if we could enter. Before I could even open my mouth, he rudely shouted "7:30, 7:30, 7:30" I just wanted to ask him if this gate would be where we can enter when they open or if we would have to enter through Beach Blvd. Like I said, it was pouring rain, and I didn't want to stop my vehicle on a main thoroughfare like Beach Blvd. The last thing I want is some driver who isn't paying attention to slam into the back of my car. So I try and ask him, and he again shouts, "7:30, 7:30, 7:30!!!" and walks away. I yell back, "Alright THANKS!" and get back into my vehicle. We eventually get inside and start the rental process. We asked who the older Hispanic man was that was outside and the guy helping us said his name was... Santi? Santos? Not sure exactly what he said, but we complained about his behavior. Everyone else working inside was great and was very helpful to us. While we were waiting for our vehicle to be cleaned, this Santi guy walks into the office, and starts "mad dogging" and staring down me, my wife, and my sister. This is how you treat customers here I guess? I don't wish this guy to lose his job or anything, but this guy needs some retraining or moved somewhere else. I rented a 7 passenger suv from this location and we have rented from this location numerous times. We had a few issues with the vehicle - a couple they would not be aware of unless they were told by the client and a couple that they should've been aware of. Arrived from New York and the price of the car went from a Quoted price of $450 for 7 days with a verification number, To $750 for 7 days. For a Hyundai Elantra I asked around and this company is notorious for pulling this crap. "Step aside sir" is all I received . I wouldn't even give them one star. We rented for the first time and the SUV was having electrical problems while we were driving on the freeway. We did let them know when we returned it. The second time around- they allowed us to reserve a truck. Called us the day before to let us know that they over booked their trucks but to come in anyways. Avoid this location if possible. I took my car into BMW and they sent me to this location to rent a car while my car was serviced. First off, this location never has a good selection of cars. All of the reject cars are on this lot. There are very few quality vehicles on the lot. Secondly, they are always out of cars. Today I waited over two hours to receive a truck when I had already informed them that I had not ever driven a truck and would prefer an SUV or car. They told me I would need to wait another 30-45 minutes for a car. The worst is that the manager was completely useless and offered to buy doughnuts and coffee. Needless to say we never got the coffee. I went to return the car the next day and found out that the cars came at 4:00pm and not at 1:30pm as promised. I was a little upset because I had used my amex points to purchase $300.00 worth of vouchers to rent a truck for the weekend. when I picked up the truck I took the vouchers in and the employees told me to being them back when i returned the vehicle. when I returned the truck, I was told the vouchers may not work but I had to wait for the manager. now standing there waiting, I was upset and worried that I was going to be out not only the $300 for the vehicle but the 3500 points from amex as these vouchers are non refundable.
