My mom and I recently rented a mid-size sedan from the Enterprise location in Fullerton. The initial check-out last Sunday took more time than we had anticipated. There weren't too many mid-size sedans to choose from by the time we got there shortly after 11 am. But it seemed like it was mainly because we were assisted by a female employee who might have been new, or who might have not been too familiar with the policies. She had to ask Zac, the employee who was working with her, and who was more familiar with the policies. She told us we could switch out the Chevy we initially had checked out on Sunday for another mid-size sedan the following Monday, when there might be more of a selection. I called Enterprise on Monday, and spoke with Eric. He also assisted me right when I got there. At first, I was about to swap out my Chevy for a Nissan Sentra, since there were 3 Sentras that were returned by the time I got there. But since a Corolla Hybrid got returned when we stepped out to the parking, I asked if I could swap out my Chevy for that instead (since it still qualified as a mid-size sedan). Eric said that would be fine. Zac also assisted me and made sure that the initial car reservation my mom and I had booked online for a weekly rate would truly be for 7 days total. I returned the Corolla Hybrid a little earlier (on Saturday instead of on the following Sunday), only because I had to fly out from Orange County on Saturday. I was promptly assisted and helped out by an employee named Ashley :D ! Both my mom and I really appreciated Zac, Eric and Ashley's tremendous assistance and help :) ! :::: NEW UPDATE :::: What a nose dive. This place went from being the best to being the worst ive ever dealt with. Im a Corporate Account holder i keep their cars full time year round. But recently they replaced all the staff. Now they are having problems, i get continuous harassing disrespectful insolent phone calls from this branch. Calling me like a collections agency demanding my car needs a service. Even after ive taken it in for service, ive driven the paper work to them, showed them the paperwork in person, then i still keep getting the harassing disrespectful insulent phone calls while im driving, they are harassing me, while im in business meetings or on my way to a meeting they harass me with these insolent calls. They are so disrespectful treating me like a bad employee asking me "where is the paper work..." . I have to tell them "I dont work for you". Figure out your own problems. Stop calling me. The car doesnt show up in their computers. They dont know how to log the service was done. They cant figure out what they are doing. They keep harassing me with the same question. Im sick of it. Even after i show them the paper work, then a different guy calls... "Where's the paper work". I had to report them to the police department for harassment. If they cant figure out their own jobs they will harass you for answers. They feel like they can call customers whenever they feel like it on their personal cell phones because they cant get the answers from their own computers. They act like a collections agency. I opted to change my rental provider to Enterprise while waiting for the completion of my vehicle. CAR RENTAL: The rental car was a midsize model in 2021 or 2022, which was satisfactory in size and quality. Cleanliness of the vehicle was average but I appreciated that they provided set of sanitary wipes inside the car for use. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The wait time for assistance was around 15 minutes. The customer representative was friendly and helpful and took the time to explain all the available options. He escorted us to the rental car, conducted the inspection, and explained some important features. CAR RETURN PROCESS: I contacted the office and inquired about returning the rental car to the Enterprise branch near my house. They mentioned that there is typically a fee for this service, but it was waived for me. The only downside was I was charged for gas despite filling it up to the required level. I was told I would get a credit for it, but I was unsure if that was applied since I did not get the itemized list of charges. read more

I hate to leave a bad review because this location helped me with a smooth process getting me a rental for my car crash a few weeks ago, and because of that I was expecting the same smooth, hassle-free service -- however, this time was a disappointment. I was due to return my rental at 12:30PM yesterday but the evening before unfortunately my boyfriend (the only authorized driver) fell extremely ill and was hospitalized in the ER that morning. It was an extremely distressing situation but by some miracle around 11am I remembered to call Enterprise and let them know my situation. I told them the only authorized driver is hospitalized with pneumonia and very ill, and that I would return the car later if that's okay since this is an emergency situation, but the employee told me on the phone that I cannot return the car myself if I'm not an authorized driver. I understood. Then I suggested if maybe they could come pick up the vehicle from me since it is advertised on your website that Enterprise is happy to help with rides for pick up/drop off. I let them know that the car was parked at my house, 10 minutes from your location, cleaned out and with a full tank of gas ready to go. She said normally they could help with that but their staffing on Saturdays is only 2 people, and it would require 2 people to pick up the car from me, so that isn't possible this time. I was understanding, and asked if there's anything else we can do or any exception that can be made to avoid charging me a late fee for the drop off because the driver is literally hospitalized in the ER. The employee said she wasn't sure what we can do, and that they close soon at 2 because it's a saturday. As you can imagine, I as the customer am also not sure what we can do. I wasn't offered any more help or ideas despite crying on the other end of the line both stressed about the drop off situation and stressed that my partner had been in the ER. I told her I had to go and we hung up with no solution. I called the number for Enterprise customer service and explained my entire situation. The employee on the phone was very understanding and said she would escalate it to management ASAP since I am now down to only 1 hour to return the car. She assured me I would receive a call from a higher-up employee in less than an hour. 3 hours went by, I never got a call. By now it's 2:30 and I called the customer service line again. I got a new employee this time and had to re-explain my entire situation, now for the third time. He did explain that there is an after hours key-drop box for us to return the vehicle after hours, which the Enterprise employee never told me about. This still doesn't help ensure my concern about late fees, however. He was understanding and said he would put in another call for a manager to call me back ASAP. 2 more hours went by and I never got a call. In a panic because we never received any help, after leaving the ER, I had to dress my partner who was still dizzy, weak, and ill, and ask him to drive the vehicle back to Enterprise and drop off the key in the after hours box because we felt we had no other options or help. I am disappointed that no one at Enterprise could either call me back, or offer me a solution or any peace of mind that I wouldn't need to worry about possible late fees due to the fact that I was dealing with an emergency. I understand this was a unique situation, but the lack of any help made my distress worse. Ending our rental experience with my extremely ill partner being forced to drive to avoid late fees also leaves me feeling terribly disappointed in Enterprise. I never received a callback from anyone that day either, after 2 separate employees said they put in request for an urgent call back to me. Unfortunately I don't think I can feel confident using Enterprise any more in the future. read more

The staff at Fullerton Enterprise is exceptional--their dedication to providing customers with a great experience is unrivalled. It is well worth traveling a little further to rent a car at this location. Was busy when I came in to get my rental car and even though they were short staffed the guys hustled to get everyone taken care of. The cutie Zach was very friendly to everyone and patient making sure to keep line moving which meant there wasn't a long wait time for me to be seen and helped. Bryce was very friendly and helpful making sure I got the vehicle I needed, went over their policies and inspection of the car making sure I had no questions when I left. Overall I would return to this Enterprise as I have gotten less help at other ones. Update 5/1 I never received a survey to say how my experience went so here it is. Returned my car the other day. The cutie Zack wasn't there but Eric made the whole process simple and easy. They were friendly and got my car return done within minutes. Part of this review is for this location, and part is for the Enterprise phone agents I spoke to. Rented a car through this location when my car was in the shop at Toyota of Anaheim(TOA). Had the car for 3-4 days, paid for by Toyota. Guys in the office were nice enough, and all seemed smooth. I was given a late model RAV4 XLE, the same model as my own car. About a month later, I get a call. Enterprise wants to charge me $300 for the rental insurance I agreed to, for having the car for 14 days. I'm thinking, "What the heck?", I only had the car for 3-4 days and turned it in at TOA as instructed. It all got straightened out as my service advisor communicated with the Enterprise agent, though they both threw each other under the bus. Fast forward, and I'm looking for a rental over Christmas so we can drive to Flagstaff, AZ. We want an AWD or FWD in case it snows. The car was to be picked up at this location. The first agent, a young lady, first tells me the office is closed December 24th and 25th. I would have to pick up the car on the 23rd, a full two days before we needed it. I say no, then she tells me I can pick it up at 7:30 am on the 25th. Cool. I hang up and talk to my wife, then call back. I get a guy who now tells me that I would have to pick up the car on the 23rd, as the office is closed on the 24th and 25th, as the young lady had related. Then, he says, no, I can pick the car up at 9:00 on the 24th. Why the change? He says he put in the wrong time. Long story short, I told him no, I was uncomfortable with all the conflicting and changing information and hung up. I went with Budget instead, and probably will from now on(had a not so great experience with Enterprise in Great Falls, Montana, for another trip this past summer). read more

I've rented often, like once every 2 months. Always had a good experience so far. Representatives are courteous and responsive to concerns.

They will charge you for a higher car than your insurance covers so they can pocket the remaining balance. Gave us a refund then got a mail a week later asking for it back or else we will be sent to collections. Went a total of 6 times to this place trying to fix it, THEY SAID THE SAME THING EACH TIME AND DID NOTHING. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! DO NOT GO TO THIS ENTERPRISE!! Whoever is in the corporate offices of enterprise car rental and reads this review, they should take notice and be very proud of this location and its very friendly and professional staff who renewed my faith in Enterprise. I received a negative experience from the Beach Blvd location a couple weeks ago. But this location is why I continue to use enterprise anytime I rent a car. I can only say that I am very opinionated and I can sometimes come off as condescending and even a smart ass, but the person helping me while returning the car did everything perfectly and kept a genuine smile and demeanor through my whole experience there. Zack and Eric are certainly the type who go above and beyond the call of duty, I appreciate you both for arranging and driving me home after returning the very clean vehicle that I rented. I can only say that you both deserve a raise, a paid vacation or a bonus . You guys give that place a good name and a great reputation for being a perfect place to rent from. Renting a car is normally under emotional and stressful situations, ie: car accident, stolen vehicle, you were hit and run, etc. etc. etc. In my case I had gone from angry to crying to angry again about my new car being hit parked for one hour. Dealing with your insurance company and your collision center and then getting your rental car reservation, can all be a bit overwhelming and frustrating. But definitely not in this case for me! They went above and beyond my customer service expectations to make sure that I was put in a proper vehicle for my needs. Ray was a gem! He was very very accommodating and helpful from start to finish as was the manager Joe. It was very important to them to put me in a car that I would be satisfied and more than that, happy with. Well, let's just say they succeeded. The first vehicle they put me in was not a good fit, it had been driven by an extreme smoker and I have asthma and allergies. I was so frustrated at first, I was willing to just accept it and keep it but they insisted on making sure I had a perfect customer experience and found me another fantastic car that had never been smoked in and actually not driven much at all. Thank you so much for your helpful persistence Ray! I am very happy with the rental car I will be driving until my poor baby is back to me. This location went above and beyond in their service. I was traveling over 6hrs from home when some road debris damaged my vehicle. I had it towed to a shop and had to use Uber for myself and family to get us to our hotel. I reached out to this location while trying to coordinate repairs to my car. I need to plan the possibility I'd have to leave it behind to travel back home on Monday. The team at this location was amazing. They worked at getting a vehicle to fit the 5 of us plus our luggage, as well as having one that could travel one way back home. Ultimately they had to transfer a vehicle from another location to have one on hand that worked for us. After all their hard work and me picking up the rental, I was able to find out that my car could be repaired the same day. While I only ended up needing the rental for a short period, the team at this location was great act making changes on the fly and even insisted I get a ride from their shuttle service vs walking the block to get back to the shop working on my car. Having a great team at this location helped me during a really stressful experience and I can't thank them enough! read more

If I could I would give this location no stars. Bad customer service. You make a reservation and that gets thrown out the window when you arrive and the line is out the door. You are standing here for over an hour, over an hour with a reservation. There are 2 people at the counter, no organization. So expect a 2 hour wait with a reservation made, your car is not cleaned out or washed. I do not recommend this location to anyone. And forget having plans for the day because you spent most of your day waiting. read more

I rented from Enterprise in Fullerton back in September. They gave me an upgrade to a Dodge Challenger. Pretty awesome. The car has slight cosmetic damage that they noted and told me not to worry about. I returned the car to LAX after my trip and they noted the damage and charged me for it. The damage was about $1000. I went back and fourth with the damage department who told me after investigation, I was at fault. Continued to go back and forth until they sent it to collections. I called Enterprise Fullerton and spoke with Dylan, who remembered the whole situation (which was 4 months prior), he took the time to call claims and vouched for me. They dismissed the claim and Dylan rules. Honesty is such a lost trait and the employees at Enterprise Fullerton care about their customers. Stopped by with thank you donuts, but of course Dylan wasn't there. I hope his boss sees this and does something nice. I would rent from here any time without question. Fullerton Enterprise staff will have your back! I do question Enterprise "claims investigators" as they never even bothered to investigate my defense and call Fullerton. Pretty lame. If it wasn't for Dylan, I'd have bad credit and be out $1k for something I wasn't responsible for. read more

Worst location i have been to . Worst customer service! The manager Eric is the one that helped me and was so unprofessional and unorganized. They had called me in the morning to see what time and date I'll be going in and what vehicle was my preference and let me know my rental will be ready for me when i arrived . So when i came in with my reservation number i was expecting to get a sedan . Eric let me know it was 15+ min wait . Which was not mentioned when they called me since i had my kids with me that's why i had set a reservation. I then walked outside to check on my kids since i had to wait for them to clean the sedans. When i went back in he asked for all my information all over again and told me to meet him outside . He didn't mention to me that the sedan i was waiting for got rented out ! He just came and was like alright let's inspect the car . I was like sorry i wanted a sedan not a suv . He's like yeah those were rented out by accident like what ?!!! Waited this whole time to not even get what i wanted. He let me know he will be charging me with 100 deposit and ended up charging me more without explaining. I then called once i left and he said he forgot to let me know the actual total . How is this guy a manager there's so much miscommunication within his employees and no organization at all . This enterprise is a good place to rent a car. Staff were very welcoming. They were assisting all patrons with smiles and a general politeness about them. This location is open Sunday for a few hours. This was highly desirable for me. They also had the 15 passenger van that I wanted to rent to my Sequoia trip with my friends. That was also very desirable. If I have to rent a car for whatever reason, I am certain I will head back here first to check their options. read more

We have a corporate account , we rent cars on a weekly basis and have seen the huge decline in customer service from this branch , I had an incident where the manager was supposed to call me to adjust my $4700 bill, I never heard from them, the charge just appeared on my credit card, without having the courtesy of contacting me as I had been told I would be regarding adjustments to this charge , this and other problems are making me move to another branch , never again will my company rent from this branch again !! read more
