Sadly I need to rate this location as one star. However. I need to make sure and say, that Jeff whom I worked with this morning was very kind. And helpful. I came to this location 2 years ago and the first car they gave me had cigarette holes in the front seat and smelled horrible. (I had my 2 year old with me. So you can imagine how disappointed I was. They switched cars and gave us an old. Very dirty van. However. Didn't smell of smoke. So. I sucked it up. Today. I specifically told Jeff that I had a bad experience last time. And again. He was very very nice. And got me a car that could fit by baby seat and toddle seat in And the stroller. However. He left and another guy who I won't name because I was so beyond angry after dealing with him and don't wanna get him fired. He walked me around the car saying if you see any dents. Let me know. So I pointed a few out that not only were scratches but chunks of paint out... He snapped at me saying I didn't know her I was talking about. And I had to be larger than a quarter and a scrape had to be larger than a dollar bill. (I don't work there buddy. How would I know) It was well over 80 out and I had my 7m with me. A diaper bag. A stroller and a toddler car seat. So I started to put the stuff in the car. No one helped me. Turned on the car so the baby could cool off. And my hand STUCK to the steering wheel. At this point. I because to tear up. I'm hot. It's been over an hour. My baby is over due for a nap. And now. The car that they have given me. Is filthy. I took baby wipes and cleaned the steering where arm rests and inside door handles and the baby whips were brown and black. Again. No one helped. The guy just stood there and watched me clean. And said "it's a rental. What do you expect" After cleaning the car so that I at least wouldn't get sticky or dirty driving. Walked in to tell the nice man at the front how filthy it was... This has to be the worse enterprise and the manager Tina really sucks ASS!!! She has to be the worse manager in HISTORY!! On top of being rude, she's a complete idiot!! This establishment rented me a car 6 hours late, despite my reservation. Because of this, I missed the appointment that I flew in town for and had to reschedule. Which cause me to be in town for an additional week. I called in to speak w/ the manager Tina, and she proceeded to tell me w/ the shittiest attitude "oh well" in so many words. No apology, discount, acknowledgment or anything. Then once it was time for me to go back to airport, she wouldn't wave the $200 fee so I can drop off at airport nor offer me a ride to airport even tho they're both located in the city of Long Beach. I recommend this place. Everybody in there was so nice and helpful and the process was smooth. I had lost my debit card but they let me do a cash deposit instead. At first, I signed up for insurance for the weekend because it was raining but they didn't take me off and my bill apparently added up. I called and expressed my concern that I only wanted it for that first weekend and by the time I got there to return the car they had cleared it all up and I only paid for 2 days instead like I requested. I was so relieved because there was no way I could afford 33 days of the insurance. There was also a crack on the windshield that I assumed was already there, but was wondering if it could have come from the snow/hail storm in mammoth, either way I didn't hear anything hit my window while driving it which is why I assumed maybe the weather change made it expand if it was already there. James the manager, got us through the process efficiently and orderly. We got the car within 30 min of showing up. James got us the car at half the price that FOX offered us! I went to a different location at first and they did not even extend their customer service to help me out! I called this location and Richie helped me out big time! From my phone conversation all the way to getting into a car. Very accommodating! Upon returning my rental, didn't even have to tell them that I need a ride back home. Had to pick up a rental because my car was in the shop. I've used this location on several occasions and the customer service has always been good. My ONLY complaint on this last visit was the car they gave me ( red Kia Soul) had no gas in it. Who returns a rental without putting gas in the tank?? This company doesn't even deserve 1 star let alone 5 I have rented cars from them multiple times and each time I have issues one time they change the deposit price another time they required different paper work for example pay stubs I took in one and it was fine second time they tell me two third time I take in two but now I need a utility bill which I don't have because I am 24 and can't afford to live alone I live with my parent they pay the utilities and then some visits they ask for my insurance and others they won't and they give me a hard time lacking customer service the company not just this location needs to reevaluate their policies and not to mention they have now over charged me for a two week and 3 day rental by 30.00 I checked. either they seriously suck at training their people or their people have horrible customer service I think both considering I actually work in customer service. Hopefully the main location and president or CEO see's this and you really consider reviewing those policy to accommodate women like me who don't have utility bills. Needed a rental car while my vehicle was undergoing bumper repair. This Enterprise offered a convenient location, good rates, and provided me with quick and efficient service. The '14 Ford Focus I was given had transmission issues (I was advised of this up front) which caused the car to shudder and shake as it passed through low gear. Apparently, this problem is inherent in all Ford Focuses (this is why I drive an Audi). Enterprise is not responsible for Ford's poor engineering, but if I were Enterprise, I'd toss that model on the garbage pile. read more

I rented a car a while back because I was car shopping. I didn't care what car I got because it was obviously temporary, my thing was that that weekend on a Saturday I wanted to return the car because I had bought one but the guy when I called told me to bring it back on Monday, to keep it an extra day with no extra charges. So, being that they closed in a couple hours on that Saturday I decided to take the employees advice. I returned the car on Monday and I was charged an extra day because I could not return it on Sunday because they were closed, I spent money that I was told I would not be. If I would have known that they were going to charge me an extra day that I did not even need or use I would have rushed on Saturday and made sure it was in. Do not trust these guys when they tell you they won't charge you. Will never be renting from this place ever again read more

This is the biggest disappointment of all time. Waiting here an hour and still no car to be rented. I thought this was a rent a car company not a sit around and wait for nothing to show up and be told that the employees are out "using" the cars and when asked about the use if they were going to be inspected he said "I don't know, they're just using them." This doesn't make me feel safe knowing a car I'm supposed to rent is being used by someone who I don't know or trust to bring it back in the same or better condition. I called around to 2 other Enterprise locations both were of no help and also had no cars. I'm still sitting here waiting for a magical car to appear, uninspected. DON'T GO HERE! By far the worse experience I've ever had renting a car. The workers were rude and unhelpful. I am in the military was unable to rent a car on my own. Had to bother my dad to come and rent it. I am 26 years old. When I finally got a car it was filthy and poorly taken care of. I reserved a truck online and when I got there to pick it up, they gave me a lame excuse, that because I didn't live in the area they couldn't give me the deal I was given online. They wanted me to pay an extra $70 per day, which i refused because on there Website it Never Stated that you have to live in their area in order to rent a car. Mind you i only live 5 miles alway from this enterprise. So I was given the managers cell phone number which was useless because she never picked up. Their employee Ritchie, is very unprofessional and rude! He literally told me, "or you rent a car or get out" because they were almost going to close. This is the worst rental car place I have ever been to. They called the night before to confirm my vehicle, but when I showed up the next morning they told me they didn't have a car for me and then tried to force me to take a car I did not want, and pay more. Then, when I told them I did not want the car they were insisting I take, they wanted me to pay even more for a more expensive car, acting like somehow it was my fault. After finally agreeing to pay more (since I had no other options), the service lights in the car started coming on several days into my trip. When I finally returned the car, the lady there told me she could not find my name in the system. I have used this company countless times in more than one state. But this is the very worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I will never return to this location!!! read more

I had a very bad experience with this company. I left 3 new boxes of decorative lights worth $200 at the trunk of the car that I rented. After few hours I remembered and called them and they said they were missing. The staff who got the car never checked the trunk. They are very lazy to do their job. If they want to protect their customer they should check the car before and after renting the car so in case the customer left something they will be able to get it back. So when I followed up with them they were very impolite and rude to me. Especially the manager Mike I spoke to him and he never endorsed it to his staff to follow up when he went for a vacation. This location is not in the city of Long Beach, and they will not come to pick you up in Long Beach, although its advertised as such on various travel sites. I've rented many cars in my day, and none have been of such poor quality as the car I rented this weekend. The car itself had scratches and dings, and the interior of the car had scratches , stained carpeting and stained seats. The stains were significant and the I was amazed that they use this car for paying customers. When I brought up my concerns to the representative at the time of rental, they were dismissed and was told that the vehicle was all they had and 'not that bad, really'. There was a white/off white crusty substance in the rear of the vehicle on the seat. It looked like it could have been a bodily fluid or excretion. When I brought the various issues of the vehicle which made the rental experience substandard, one of the employees behind the counter started laughing. He wasn't surprised at all, and it seemed as if its customary to provide a substandard product. Poor vehicle quality and unprofessional service from some of the employees made this my last visit to this Enterprise location. read more

I had to rent a car while my car was getting repaired and that were my insurance sent me. The guy who helped me was so nice and helpful. But when I went to turn in the car had to wait and hour for someone to help me because they were overwhelmed with people. Which I get it was not a problem but they should have more people helping out I think. But the worst part is I had to wait for a month for them to give me back my deposit. I had to call them twice to see what was going on. They said it was sent and I'm still waiting. Going on a little over a month. Smh I hope I never have to rent a car from them again. read more

Watch out for this rental car place, they are trying to cheat money off of their customers. Michael, the manager of this location gave me a call this afternoon for a rental car that I had used during October 28-31 which is more than 3 weeks ago. Michael is rude and should not be a manager. He claims to have trained his employees well in noticing damages but it clearly wasn't the case for me. I was signed up for a midsize car and when I arrived at the location the lady told me there was no more and asked if I was willing to take the next available car, a Jeep. I took the Jeep and we did a walkthrough of the car. I remember exactly that we started with the front of the car, went around the left side, then around the back, and then end on the right. When we got to the back I noticed a significant ding on the bumper. It looked like an upward facing carrot. I showed that to the employee and she said she took note of it. Then on the right side there were some scratches on the right side near the passenger door and I pointed that out as well and she said she took note of it. The car wasn't on a full tank so I could return it on empty. Sweet. I then get this call from Michael 2+ weeks later that there is a claim filed against me for damaging the car. They want me to pay $330 in damages. I tell him that I had definitely noted the damage in the back with the employee when I picked it up along with the employee when I was dropping it off. To make matters worse, when I dropped off the car one of the employees showed the ding in the back to another employee and they both agreed that it was nothing. I also made sure to say that the location where I picked it up took note of this damage. Michael rudely keeps repeating verbatim: 'There wasn't any documentation when you picked up the car, you signed a no damage agreement, the previous renter when signing off didn't have any damage, the responsibility is on you'. He also states that his employees are well trained to notice any damages so would have for sure taken note of that damage as it is significant. He was essentially calling me a liar. I guess he didn't do a great job training his employees this time around. He also had the nerve to say that he asked the employee who checked my car to see if she remembered the ding in the back of my rental car, and she says she doesn't remember. Do you see the problem here? First, you ask your employee who obviously is going to save her own career by saying she didn't see any damage. Second, you are going to ask someone who could possibly look at hundreds of cars a day to see if she remembers this damage on a car that she handed out more than 2 weeks ago? read more

Paid the car for 5p pick up and almost 530 still waiting to get the car. They're always late, so give them ample amt of time to take care of you when you scheduled ahead. read more

was force to rent a car b/c ma vehicle was being repair at the near by Nissan dealership and was told it would not be ready for a day and since the rental was suppose to be free I sad what the heck why not while I was @the rental agency I was talk into a $35 a day insurance so much for free but considering the nightmare situation i've heard of people being hit with $1500 charges for damage they supposinly did I didn't want to leave it to chance. I returned the SUV on 11/29/2011@12:50pm eventhough I was not told of a mileage limit of a 150 miles I was charge $13 overage which stinks but hey it is what it is. Two weeks later to my suprise I recieved through snail mail a letter stating that "there was a toll violation on 11/29/2011 @12:38pm on your rental vehicle and as a courtesy to you we have charged you debit cart a $18 convinent fee for forwarding your info to the toll authorities" What! Ok now look at the time the vehicle was returned and the time of the toll violation 16 minutes there's no toll road less than an hour away from the Enterprise rent a car facility it is not posible to drive from Riverside, CA. To Carson, CA. In 16 minutes and I assure you I had no bussiness in Reverside, Ca. And I certainly had no toll violation. So is Enterprise running a scam on unsuspecting people. I want Enterprise to know I will fight this I want my $18 back even if I have to pay $40 to sue them in small claim court. And yes I did complain to Enterprise still waiting for a response. read more

I was on hold for the long 10+ minutes just to ask a simple question on 3 seperate occasions, that is unacceptable. Kelvin did everything he could to help, but "one" person CAN NOT do everything. He collected the keys from us and went outside to check on the vehicles. A minute later another employee (who had just returned from dropping of a customer) started processing my return. He was very kind and made every attempt to make me feel like a valued customer. A little customer service goes a long way. Here's two stars back for the kindness. *Initial review. I've knocked it down a star for every 10 minutes I've been waiting just to be able to RETURN the rental. It's been 30 minutes. Why can't they have one person processing rentals and one processing returns? You have 4 people trying to return and no one has thought to process the returns first. read more
