I gave one star because it's the lowest I could give. I received extremely poor customer service from Shamela Brown when I picked up the car. When I turned it in, Ryan McNichols checked me in. His customer service was excellent, however, Shamela Brown doesn't have a clue about customer service. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Shamela's lack of customer service and Ryan's manager was suppose to call me to discuss the situation. I've been waiting on this phone call since Friday, January 17, 2014 - I left from the facility at around 9:40 AM. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath waiting on this call from the manager. The man who picked me up from my house to go to enterprise was polite but a bit too talkative on the car ride. It was quick and painless getting my rental, however the first car I was given smelled like urine. Thankfully the staff was nice about me getting another car. My major complaint was that the visor on the driver side fell out! That has never happened to me before. I had to go there out of necessity but I can't say I'd go there again. read more

If I could give less than one star, I definitely would. I was provided a car through Enterprise via my car insurance after an accident. Though I signed verifying I wanted 3 days of coverage, I was charged for coverage for the entire time I had the rental. Every time I asked for justification as to why I was charged several hundred dollars throughout the time I had the rental, it was justified with, "The information was entered through our tablet." and "The 3 day period represents coverage for the time you have the car." When I emphasized to the assistant manager and manager that I did not sign requesting coverage since I already had full coverage and the boxes on the contract were left blank, I was informed that the 3 day period I signed off on was in fact for the full time of having the car. This location goes more by a "don't ask don't tell" approach which I consider very unprofessional and makes me feel as if I was robbed. As for the car itself, one of the rentals I received had sand throughout the car, a cigarette burn on the front passenger seat, and what appeared to be a vomit stain on the driver seat. I booked a reservation with this branch for a Dec 29th trip 7 months ago. Since this was my first time booking with Enterprise, I called in a few times to confirm that everything looked good and to schedule a pick up and was told everything was good to go, and I'd just need to call in the month of to schedule the pickup. Fast forward 6 months and I'm calling Enterprise to schedule the pickup, but now they're saying they can't pick me up because there are 3 locations closer to the cruise terminal where I'll need to be picked up. When making the reservation I looked over the pick up policy and chose the first location I saw on the map that seemed to meet the criteria, but apparently there's some fine print in there, even though the website doesn't help you whatsoever when you make the booking. Neither the branch manager, nor their regional customer service line was willing to help me, so I had to book elsewhere, pay for transportation, and pay the extra rental cost. I rented a car from this location on 11/15/18 in the evening. The next day I found a syringe needle in the cup holder in the back seat (I have pictures). And I also noticed the seats were not clean. I returned the car to a different location and received a new vehicle which I finally returned to Enterprise on 11/23/18. Considering the vehicle was selected by my Insurance company, I was told I would receive my deposit once the vehicle was returned. Fast forward 2 weeks and 4 days later, I am still dealing with this issue. I spoke with several different people but my deposit is still pending. Not sure what I need to do to next to receive adequate service. I am definitely not returning to this location for future rentals. read more

Was sent here by KIA as this was the location that they had a contract with to loan rental vehicles while my vehicle was in service on a warranty issue. The rental was supposed to be covered by KIA, I collected the vehicle on behalf of KIA and as the female agent informed me from Enterprise that KIA is only allowed certain rentals and clearly stated that KIA is covering the cost and that my card was only for any vehicle damage. Well, this enterprise location has a horrible accounting department since they failed to collect payment from KIA and just so they can close their 2016 acccounts they decided to charge my card for $741 and several other KIA customers who had to get a Loaner that was to be covered by KIA. The person that called me was name James or Jeff and he pretty much showed no care in the world and when I asked him why was I and all others not contacted prior to inform that your dumb ass location could not collect payment from KIA and given us enough notice. This kid just called me and said we are charging your card cause we are closing these accounts for the year and we haven't been able to collect payment from KIA so you have to pay. Mind you I was provided this loaner back in early December 2016 and he calls me on the 31st of January 2017. I recommend dealing with another rental company and letting everyone know that this location will provide you wrong information. KIA is reimbursing me for the monies I was charged, I just want you to know that your card will be charged by these incompetent Team. read more

Didn't have to wait long for pick up, driver was awesome, they got me into a car and on my way in less than 15 minutes! The first car they gave me did smell like marajuana, but maybe some people would prefer that!!! I'll definitely rent there again!!! read more

I rented a car and the seats were very dirty (off white) I was told they wash the Car daily but did not have time to "detail" the cars. I asked him what if my clothes get dirty? He said "they won't because the seats are cloth" what a horrible thing to say to a customer. He had no concerns of the seats being dirty. Very BAD business practices. I will never go there again!! Then had the nerve to say, "but other than the seats being dirty, how was our customer service"?!! Really??!!! Not a happy customer read more

Well I was surprised, that depending on who is serving you at the counter, the policy changes. One month you don't require this or that and the next time I come, they wanted fort knox, to rent this vehicle. The vehicle was dirty when it was given to me, so that was obviously disappointing, but I had a schedule to keep and didn't have time to complain. I guess I will look elsewhere next time. read more

Do not rent a car from this location. First of all the seating area was filthy. The trash can was over flowing and the ground was littered. I travel all over and never had to wait this long to get the car. Alamo, Hertz, National, all take less time. Then the interior of the vehicle was also filthy. I had the clean the car. To make matters worse the tire light was on. I didn't have time to go back to complain. I will speak to the manager when I return the car. You lost a customer. read more

THE EMPLOYEES STEAL ITEMS FROM CUSTOMERS. If I could give NO stars, I would. If you read only the first line you will understand my frustration with this location. If I had the ability to check their security cameras I would. I had to rush here during a lunch break from work and pick up my car from a nearby dealer service department. No walk through was done on my car and we headed to the dealer. After receiving my car and heading to pick up my kids I realized that I left my $200 car seat in the rental. Less than two hours after I dropped the vehicle off, I called enterprise to verify that the rental I was in had not been picked up by another customer. I then explained that I just left and my sons car seat was still in the back seat. Before I could head back to this location Dianne informed me that there was no car seat in the car or in lost and found. How convenient that less than two hours after I dropped my vehicle off, without receiving a final inspection, my items were missing from the car...WITHOUT THE CAR LEAVING THE PARKING LOT. Not only did I have to pay for service and replace a transmission in MY car, I had my sons car seat stolen by an Enterprise employee. Thank you Enterprise. read more

Staff were very thorough and accommodating. Did not feel rushed and spent time to go over the rules , policies and features of the rental. Staff were friendly being that it was a Sunday and hot humid day. Vehicle check out was smooth and since they ran out of SUV's they upgraded me to a very comfortable and fuel efficient Explorer. I was involved in a car accident and all the Enterprise locations in my area were sold out. I made a reservation online and I picked up my car on a Saturday. I was given the keys and signed off on the agreeement. I start driving the car and my 5 year old tells me that it smells funny. I noticed a stench of something like cigarette, but I think to myself, you are not supposed to smoke in car rentals. Any who... I get home and my husband is sniffing all througout the car and he finds marijuana in the car. In the glove compartment, the center console, on the dashboard... etc. Traces of marijuana all over the car. No wonder it smells horrible. I couldn't take the car back that day because they were closed. I called on Monday and they told me I would have to drive it back and exchange the car. It was not until Tuesday afternoon that I received a call from the Area Sales Manager stating that they will deliver another car from a separate enterprise location to my work. I was stuck driving that stinky car for 4 days before they fixed the problem. I will not rent from this location ever again. I am very unhappy. read more

If I could give them a lower rating I would. I really needed to rent a car because I had car troubles and needed a rental without notice. I was desperately tried to get to the location. I called 5 minutes to closing letting them know I was a block away but there was traffic. The person that answer said there was nothing they could do. He said there was a gate that closes exactly at 6:00 pm and he has no control. He said I can make it through the gate before closing then I could get the car. I arrived at 6:01 and they were closed. No one bothered to call me or even wait. I didn't see anyone driving off so they must have close before 6:00 pm. Unbelievable!!! No empathy whatsoever!!! read more

If I could Give Negative stars I would!! horrible Place! Never Renting here again !!! So I rented a car online and. It had reasonable prices and everything, read the fine print and all, I even called ahead and asked what I needed to rent the car and if they could pick me up! The Guy who answered Said the person who picked up people had gone home for the day! It was barely 5:00pm the place closed at 6! when I got there the guy not only was rude but was constantly on the phone and did not explain everything before he started the reservation , first he asked for 2 ids then asked for an ID with a current addressed since I moved. Since I didn't have any he wanted something with my current Address , I showed him a stub n it worked I was ok... Then he's like I need a large deposit , I was like I never made a large deposit usually u keep my card like last time and charge it upon arrival !! But he was like well we can charge you tomorrow I was on can you! Then he's like ok See you tomorrow ! I was like didn't you say you were holding the card so you can charge me tomorrow ? He's like no that's not what I said I said come back tomorrow ... Then he's asked , do you need a ride home? I replied , I though the guy went home for the day ... He then had the nerve to say oh no I don't know who told you that , I said you when I called, he replied ... That was you on the phone ... Well he's here now ... Great Service. There have been very few problems at the Enterprise location on 223rd St. My recent rental I had someone drop me off at the location, because usually waiting for the ride can take up to two hours on any given day not just weekends, due to location being so busy. The pickup and return home are always appreciated. If your reservation time is at 5:30pm, do not wait to call to be picked up. Call at least an hour a head of time. This last rental, there were issues only because it was a sold out weekend, customers were not bringing the vehicles back, so there was no available inventory, however, the location will try to find available inventory in other locations for you. The staff had again rotated to another area, the staff is rarely the same unless you rent from Enterprise consistently within a 4-6 month period of time. It has nothing to do with turnover, just how the company works to give their employees other opportunities and variety, found this out because I asked. Jerry who helped me, OMG, he was awesome. Usually the whole staff there is great. Because of the different things that happened, Jerry did would he could to fix it. This location always ROCKs! read more
