I was surprised how great and competent the customer service is here at this location. I called to reserve a car to get me up to Glacier Nat'l Park and spoke with the manager, Kasey. I said I needed the car ready to roll--the minute they opened-- so I could drive up in time to make my Red Bus tour in the park. He graciously promised that it was no problem to make this happen and had the door open even before their usual 8 a.m. opening time. Awesome! Sure enough the Subaru I rented was perfect and I made the tour time in no time. This Enterprise knows what they are doing and keep their word. Not every location is as good as this one. Last year when my Bug was down, I rented from my local go-to Enterprise, which would forget to pick me up or mess up my order. There was a constant stream of new personnel always learning the ropes here that made me nervous to deal with them. The Kalispell rental office has seasoned pros ready to cater to your every rental need. Also, management trainee Cody was great. He was understanding when I was delayed returning the car when I got lost trying to find them. Normally, I would deduct 1 YELP STAR from the review since this Evergreen location does not accept cash, due to liability reasons. We rented a car for our trip to Glacier National Park. Upon checking in, we asked if the car had low gear and were assured it did. It did not. It had B gear which should have "automatically" turned on. We left the airport and the next day went to the mountains to discover the car DID NOT have the right gears. We kept trying however became concerned driving. After 2 days we went back to Enterprise to ask for another car and the person at the desk, Raphael, told us we were wrong, we didn't know how to drive, there was "no such thing" as low gear. Another person who worked there commented, "I just drive really fast." I explained that we didn't feel safe. By this time there were other people waiting and the two people at the desk finally agreed to rent us a different car. I rented a car with this company if you want to call them that . I waited two hours for the car when i arrived to pick it up. Then after driving over 300 miles, I realized it had a bubble on the side wall of the tire so i took it in to the closest Enterprise who sent me to a tire shop to have it replaced. I then had to wait 3 hours for them (Enterprise) to accept the request for the tire to be changed. Absolutely the worst experience renting a car. Dont rent from this company they're more interested in your money and not customer service. read more

Enterprise used to be a great company, and rented from them for many years. But in 2024-25, I had multiple bad experiences: * They changed their Kalispell location without adequate notice. They also blocked their office phone number for anyone outside the 406 area code, so Instead of getting a pick-up, I was stranded at the airport. * Very long customer service delay. * After the delay, I received a car without snow tires and otherwise totally inappropriate for the snowy environment. I had to return it. * On a later occasion, we were charged $2700 for a small dent incurred AFTER I had returned the car to their unattended lot. Enterprise's excuse was a term in a set of "terms and conditions" not provided to me. Although as a lawyer I know the term probably was unenforceable, Enterprise pursued me for a year, ignoring the questions I had about the claim. In sum, it was just a hold-up. The kalispell location was great to work with. While I was disappointed they were offsite and there was no signage or direction for wayfinding In the airport which was frustrating. Otherwise, they were very accommodating to change my rental since the size of vehicle I originally rented was no longer going to work with us. And then I also had unexpected flight cancellations which forced us to have to stay three days longer on our trip and they were very accommodating to figure out a solution to make sure that we had transportation and work through the challenges of a one-way rental. read more

All the staff, my debit card would not work because of a chip. They can't manually enter the card. I just used the card at Town Pump before coming here. Stranded 60 miles from home. And they said they could take me to a bank an open account. I got money on cashapp but, they won't use prepaid. They should be able to manually enter cards. The shuttle driver stood there, and her daughters making everyone load their own bags on to the shuttle. As a critique, the way they were loaded. Upon arriving at the airport this poor excuse, pulls all the bags from the bottom, dumping the entire shuttle luggage onto the parking lot. When people Sarge complain, he tried to force a physical confrontation by yelling at everyone and saying that they couldn't talk to him like that. All of this is in front of women and children, families. Ridiculously representing enterprise in front of the whole world. Follow my advice. Stick to the high-quality rental agencies at the airport. There is a reason they do not allow this enterprise unit to operate at the airport. I wish I could post less than one star After speaking with enterprise, and their customer service department. I have had zero response. The information that was requested after my first review posted... Is exactly what I have already given enterprise immediately after this occurrence. On 9/24/21 we picked up our reserved car from Alamo at the Kalispell airport. The agent told us that the only car available had a crack in the windshield. They said they would note it in the computer and, of course, we wouldn't be charged for it. We were charged for the crack. The claims department wrote us an email stating it was not our responsibility. NO ONE AT ALAMO WILL REFUND OUR MONEY, despite numerous phone calls. 10/6/21: I contacted care@enterprise.com as suggested by the below Alamo Customer Service. They said that they could not issue a refund, only the Damage Unit could do so. I contacted the Damage Unit (for at least the 5th time), they stated that they have no ability to issue refunds. Rented a suv for one month, paid around 900.00 for the month. I got my contract extended for another month which I have done 2/3 times in the past. I needed it for a third month and they simply refused to extend it again and went so far as to they were getting ready to report the car stolen. I was in constant contact with them trying to work it out with them. The only reason they gave me was they only rented cars for 30 days at a time. After I returned the car to them , being left stranded in calf. , I checked rates to rent The same car again, and they now want 9 grand for the month. Hard to find the shuttle to the rental car office since it's off-site. We made our reservations from Costco as usual. Most of the other rental car companies have offices in the airport. The wait for the shuttle was long, the wait at the office was long, it was busy and hot. We were pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to a Subaru Crosstrek from a Corolla. We recently bought a Subaru Outback so we were familiar with that type of car. The staff was really nice and pleasant even though there were a lot of impatient customers. We recently rented an SUV from Enterprise in Kalispell. Unfortunately, we arrived FIVE minutes after they had closed! NO problem! I knocked on the door, and not only did Thomas answer the door, he got us in a car ASAP! He even cleaned an incoming vehicle himself for us to take. We visited Kalispell,MT during peak season and called Enterprise to rent a car so we could drive through Glacier National Park and other tourist destinations around the area. They took my reservation over the phone for a compact car and gave me the cost breakdown. The next morning, Sunday, July 9th, I called to confirm to get picked up, the driver was running a little late. Cody, the asst manager, was so helpful and calm, each time I called. LOL poor guy! Anyway, once we got there, Cody gave us a Dodge Journey ( suv) and the price was less than quoted over the phone! Turning it back in was a piece of cake, too. Alex made the process easy & pleasant. He even took us back to our campground, giving us background on Enterprise, the company. If I could give Enterprise Kalispell more than 5 stars, I would. Especially Cody & Alex!! Wednesday 12/23/2020 ,6:15 pm at night in 30 degree weather sitting in front of a closed Enterprise with no car and freezing, astonished at how terrible this company treats their customers. . Tis the season for good things, so tell me Enterprise do you encourage taking advantage of people's vulnerabilities? Like COVID-19 hasn't hit our pocket books and the ability to get by enough . instead or working with your paying customers you have management that obviously doesn't care. This is terrible, I feel like I was manipulated into returning my vehicle under the false pretenses of helping me out, lied to and then to top it off, your manager tried to extort me knowing my options are limited. He told me I needed to DOUBLE pay , due to an issue with backdating an already paid for bill on debit card. How is this backdating issue my fault, you shouldn't accept something as a payment method if it causes this kind of a problem. To top it off you are willing to cause your customers financial issues due to your lack of accounting technology. This great manager of yours named Thomas E. Brooks-Fletcher, located at the Columbia Falls Montana office persuaded me to get into the office, in the guise of saving me money by getting me into a smaller car and changing over a contract from my insurance company to myself. Suddenly tells me after I turn in the keys that I need to Fork over another $580 Dollars to use the car. Enterprise has already drafted my account in the amount o f $1,054 for the 20 days i've used the car... I literally only have $298 left in my account until I get paid on the 5th of Jan and you want to charge me more, I already paid the deposit plus some. I wouldn't have taken off from work early or turned the car in if he would have been honest with me in the first place. I just started working and COVID-19 has depleted all my funds. I get into a bad accident when someone swerves into my lane and my car is totaled, so yeah I'm broke and dealing with a lot, and your company's representative just made it worse. After showing him how much money I have in my account he then tells me to give him $200 and he'll let me rent the car.. He wanted to leave me with $100 to survive the holidays and this after I had already paid for the car . He states the money that had already been paid would be refunded back to me 2-3 business days and this is because we used my debit card. Tonight is the 23rd and tomorrow is Christmas eve which means the next "business day" means I might get the money on the 28th or 29th if i'm lucky. . I'm a little shocked and asked him why didn't tell me any of this during our multiple conversations before bringing the car in. We just talked on the phone about my situation,he knows i'm not from Montana and don't know anyone yet that can help me with transportation. More importantly, the entire reason I am still using the rental while I look for a new car is that I have a sick father who isnt doing well and it may be needed in case of an emergency. WE JUST TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE HE TELLS ME THAT IF I DON'T PAY THE MONEY HE won't RENT ME THE CAR. I felt sick, like this guy literally was using everything I told him as a weakness that he and Enterprise could prey on . I asked what else could be done, I Can't afford to go that low on my bank balance and this wasn't right. His response TOOK ME OVER THE EDGE. He has the nerve to say with a conceited smile on his face that he doesn't have to rent me the car at all, its his choice like he's doing me a favor even though I already paid the money to Enterprise for the car in the first place, in fact yesterday another $98 was taken. Reserved a car for our Thanksgiving trip to MT through the airline carrier. Upon arrival we found out that they are off site. So, beware if you're renting from them. Tried calling their office (no answer) and then corporate. Finally got ahold of someone and they did pick us up quick. They're a mile down the street from the airport. They said they had shuttles that run back and forth but we didn't know that at the time. Car was clean and didn't break down on us...so that's a plus! Easy return and they offered us an upgrade for the pick up troubles next time. Not sure how they would track all that. We needed a rental car w/4-wheel drive for several weeks while our car was being repaired over the year end holidays (a deer hit it on the fwy in the dark and damaged the side doors and headlight). Glad we have rental car svc with our auto insurance which arranged our reservation with Enterprise while we were at the repair shop dropping off our car. Enterprise picked us up there and we had a nice Toyota Tahoma truck waiting when we got to the Enterprise office. We needed it for over 2 weeks (which was great when the roads were snowy or icy!) and the Enterprise staff (esp Dylan) was always cheerful and helpful when we called in. They have an alternative drop off for before they open which was easy. They called to let me know they got the truck and everything was in order. There was no hesitation to getting us upgraded at a terrific price. Joseph Kindly showed us the ins and out of the truck filled the tank and advised us about local gas prices. They were not helpful and when booked another car through their website informed that they may not have a car either, despite the site showing plenty of cars available. Was put on a wait list and no communication as to the list or availability. Finally ended up with a car 5 Days later. The staff on the phone were rude and did not seem to make any efforts to assist. Never, ever, ever, never, ever rent a car from Enterprise in Kalispell. Not only do they not have a counter at the airport (all of the other big name rental companies do), but they tell you that they'll pick you up to go get your car. Uh, no. If your flight is late, too bad. The other rental car companies stay on site until all of their customers arrive and receive their cars. Thankfully I was able to rent a car from another company but it cost me twice as much since it wasn't done in advance. I called for a reservation and asked if they could pick me up the Country Inn & Suites next to the airport when I visit in 2 weeks. "No, we don't offer that any longer from this location...." so I proceeded to make the reservation for 16 days, got the quote, $1760. and change...got the email confirmations.... and the dates were wrong. Called and they quoted me, same 16 days $2053.and change....got the confirmation, wrong days....yup twice. Called back and this time it's $3,048 FOR A STANDARD CAR FOR 16 DAYS....talked to John the manager....not in Kalispell....and asked if there were any other rental cars near the airport he said no and I laughed .....and he hung up. WOW. So Enterprise is not EVEN on the airport campus as the other 2 sales people had said, it was off campus and I found BUDGET RENTAL right next to the exit door from the airport....imagine that. I almost always used enterprise and I'm rarely disappointed. Clean, great cars and lots of deals if you look around. Both shuttle drivers to and from the airport were easy, talking about the local area. Alex Finlayson was our guy once we got to the office and he was amazing! Very nice- we didn't like the light gray full sized car so he went out and got a Nissan that had just come in cleaned out. He advised we get unlimited mileage for a reasonable price. There was another sales guy there that was pushing everything from insurance to gas. Even mentioning hail was in the forecast as his sales pitch on the insurance. He was so annoying we walked outside the office to wait and told Alex we were glad he was so laid back and easy to deal with. Hope that other guy doesn't last long. Nice clean bathrooms at the office. Car was great- super clean and great mileage. When we check back in Alex was there again and super nice. We had a nice talk about Scotland & Ireland. Feeling welcomed and having someone do there job so well was nice to see! read more

It was my bad not to realize that the shop wasn't located inside the airport, but who closes at 2PM on a Saturday?!? The online form even asked for my flight information and STILL didn't tell me the office wouldn't be available to provide my rental when I arrived. The young woman at the Budget counter had to tell me Enterprise wasn't open, and then she proceeded to rent me a brand new SUV for a two-week stint, at about half of what I was originally quoted from Enterprise. I've had good experiences with my local (Massachusetts) Enterprise shop in the past, but I'll be renting from Budget in Kalispell from now on. read more
