Letting the counter agent know I preferred a Nissan or Toyota if possible, she said there were none available. I found that odd as when I got to the lot there were: a Nissan Sentra, Nissan Versa, and Toyota Camry ready and waiting to be rented. There ought to be a way you can list your car preferences so that if you're a gold member or above you are not constantly disappointed when renting from smaller airport locations in Texas. I may have to go back to renting from Enterprise because I've never been disappointed with my car selections there.

While this National Rental Car doesn't have an Emerald Aisle, they do have Anne Marie, who will get you your car quickly. This is the first time we rented a Hyundai Santa Fe which was new and clean and nice and big enough. Thank you, Anne Marie, for the gracious service!

It was obvious that whoever had the car before had been eating in the car. I went back inside and they offered another car but the computers were down and there was a line at this point so it was going to be a few minutes. Instead I asked if they could provide a disinfecting wipe so that I could clean the car myself. After that incident the car was fantastic. However, it was very disappointing to find the car so messy and dirty in the first place.

The word marvelous is just an understatement of how I feel each time we pick up a vehicle from this establishment. Each employee we deal with always exceeds our expectations on our vehicle needs and so forth. Patel was the first person we dealt with and I forgot to do the survey for him, however this is one 5 star employee when it comes to accommodations for us. The cars are always clean and smell nice, plus we are always greeted with smiling faces and feel welcomed each time we walk in. I called and they said that they would reverse those additional charges when the car was turned in. We turned in the car and they did NOT reverse the charges. So I contacted Emerald club and they said they would contact them and have the charges reversed. Needless to say the charges were never reversed. WATCH OUT THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF!

They said they required a Visa. You can NOT get a Visa from the UK when you're a US citizen. Period. CAN NOT. We pulled up the embassy website to show them. She's rented many times in Texas before since her move overseas without this issue. The employee called her area manager who agreed with her. We then called the customer service and spoke to a higher manager who said ALAMO AT CORPUS CHRISTI AIRPORT IS INCORRECT AND WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE CAR. They are forwarding this issue to internal support and should be calling us this week once this is resolved with the local management in order for us to finally, maybe, pick up a car.

Do not attempt to approach the counter without a mask or you will be reprimanded and dismissed (couldn't find mine fast enough but the nice folks at Enterprise helped me out with a disposable one) 3. $105/day for a shoebox on wheels?! I opened the trunk and expected Bozo and friends to leap out. Last week I rented from Enterprise and I got an Equinox for $108/day. I reserved the "wild card" which, according to their website is the manager's choice of cars available. When I asked if there was anything larger I was told that I reserved last minute so I was getting what they had the most of. Wow. I'll be sure to schedule emergencies in advance going forward so I can use Enterprise.
