If you need to file a complaint on this branch, here's the corporate number 314-512-5000. They receive complaints and forward them to the regional supervisors. You will then be contacted by those supervisors for a follow up. Do not rent from this location and here's why. 1. Prior to receiving the car, I was asked if I had insurance. I said yes, then I was asked if it's liability or full coverage. I said it may be liability. I was then asked who's my insurance carrier and I advised progressive. I was told that they can give me a phone number to call and check, it only takes a few seconds. I told them I don't have the time, I'm in a rush. I asked if I needed to provide proof of insurance and I was told I have 2 options: provide proof or purchase DW. I then probed a bit, asking if it's truly required since the site says optional and I was told that if I can't provide proof of full coverage insurance then I must add on the damage waiver. Under this circumstance and being limited on time, I agreed to add on DW since I didn't have a choice. I was literally told those were my only to options to proceed with this rental. I rent from enterprise all the time and this was my first time being forced to purchase their insurance. I decided to do my research and learned, it is optional. I called the branch to further discuss and later found out the person who checked me out was the manager. Her name is Molly and she stood firm on her stance - saying it was optional. This is a lie. I know what I was told, I remember everything verbatim. I asked if she'd like to remove the coverage or if I should speak to corporate and she said to speak to corporate. I immediately called corporate to file my complaint and waiting to hear back. Outside of being forced to add on DW, the car wasn't cleaned properly. Seats and windows were dirty. I have pictures. 2. I reserved a compact car and when I arrived, I received an intermediate sedan which is a lot bigger than what I'm used to driving. I asked if they had anything smaller and was told no, that's all they have. There was a slight price difference however, I was not required to pay that additional amount since I had no choice in the upgrade. 3. Outside of my concern - I overheard the persons conversation in front of me. They said their car smelled of smoke. Molly (Manager) advised that they are short staff and didn't have time to properly clean the car. She asked the customers how can they make it better, just tell her what they think they deserve to make it better. I find this ironic given the fact that now that I have an issue, the solution is completely different. It's important to note that us customers are of different race. 4. I received the car with 357 miles but was told to return it on full. When we rent a car and don't pre-pay fuel, we are only required to return the car with the same exact mileage that we received it on. The manager tries to use every excuse to nickel and dime the customer. All in all, I'll never rent from this location again. The manager is a liar and doesn't know how to properly manage a store. I'll be returning the car soon, I have tons of pictures and videos incase she tries to add on additional chargers based on my response to the situation. Avoid this location at all costs. Update: I returned the vehicle and it's no brainer, I was charged a refueling fee. Very funny because before leaving initially, Molly said to me "bring the car back on full" however I noticed the car was NOT on full when I got it. It was at 357 miles. I returned the vehicle at 374 miles. On my paperwork, it says full but my videos taken on the lot says different. Molly need to lose her job immediately. read more

Sucky Service Rented a car through insurance. Went up there, no cars & rude service. No options provide on getting a car. Called numerous times later in they day, they would pick up phone & leave it on the counter or send to corporate call center who also couldn't tell me when a car would be available. Dear lord what a mess. Left one employee to deal with 7 customers, had to wait over an hour after scheduling a pick up time, car wasn't cleaned until after waiting, NO PARKING AT ALL. Do not recommend. Make the drive outside of this location. Absolutely ridiculous. Spoke to a gentlemen on the phone about availability and was told a time to arrive. I get there and they tell me they have nothing available. But I find it funny they only say this once I tell them the coverage would be from an insurance company because this was an accident claim. Wtf!? Not to mention, a previous location wouldn't take my paper temp license because I recently updated my address. So they wouldnt allow me to rent a car even though I provided a secondary form of ID. Do not recommend ever renting a car from her unless you want a half broken car and a long wait to get it. I was supposed to have a long-term rental for work through this company and this branch has been the hardest branch to work with. They originally tried to put me in a car that smelled like somebody had been smoking a pack a day in there for months and then when I said that I couldn't drive that car, they gave me a car with holes in the bottom of it and told me that was my only other option. I tried for months to swap it out never with luck, then I started experiencing mechanical issues for the car and was told that I had to go to the airport to swap it out. They swapped it out for a car that wasn't within the contract that I have with Enterprise so I've been trying to swap it out as per my contract and they keep telling me that they don't have a car for me even though I have a long-term contract. Beyond disappointed, and would never use Enterprise again based on this experience. read more

I rented a vehicle from them in October 2022. They were friendly and courteous but took over 1 hr past the pick up time for me to get the vehicle. The vehicle had multiple dents and scratches on the outside as well as cigarette burns and dirty inside. I asked them about it and they said as long as its not bigger than a golf ball or longer than a dollar bill it doesnt matter. I did not ask for another vehicle because i didnt have time to wait and could imagine how long it would take for a new car to come if I waited over an hr after pick up for the original one. The car drove fine and K dropped the vehicle off at the Enterprise at the airport without any additonal damage. Nobody said a word to me at the return. I eventually got a bill for $1070 and was contacted by my insurance company asking about the damage that appeared to be caused by hail. I told them what I told Enterprise that there was not any additional damage. My insurance company eventually denied the claim and Enterprise is threatening to send me to collections. I have rented from Enterprise multiple times in NY and other states where they give you clean vehicles with very minimal damage. This is by far the worst experience I have had with this company. read more

Absolutely disgraceful store manager and company that I will sadly NEVER rent from again. They are very simply trying to take advantage of an honest customer that has loyally rented from them for years. Their location on Oaklawn in Dallas is full of the most incompetent employees I have ever come across with zero common sense that simply do not listen to reason. I rented a car for the Thanksgiving holiday which I picked up on an overcast Tuesday morning. The car was given to me with a filthy interior but I was on a time crunch so I could not wait for them to clean it better. When I returned the car a few days later they claimed I returned the car with hail damage. I explained to the manager that that would be absolutely impossible as the entire route I drove and the location I visited had absolutely zero hail or any extreme weather of any kind during my rental period. I pulled up the weather forecasts for those days, showed the exact route traveled as stored in the GPS, and even went as far as to show the last time hail was reported in the city I was visiting. Which was an entire month earlier! I explained that when the car was picked up it was on an overcast day, in the morning, with the car parked under a tree and that the tiny indents he saw on the roof would have been all but impossible to see unless under extreme inspection. NONE OF THIS MATTERED TO THEM! I even pointed out that their was zero hail damage on the hood or trunk, as if the car may have been repaired prior on the more visible areas and the tiny marks were left on the roof because they were barely visible. I pointed out that the car had New Hampshire tags, where it was much more likely to have experienced any hail. Again, none of it mattered! They reported the car as returned damaged and now I have to fight it with my insurance company and if that does not work I will have to hire a lawyer if it goes that far. I've been renting from Enterprise for over a decade, and multiple times from this location just in the last few months. They ruined my holiday and I will NEVER rent from enterprise again. Stay away. WORST LOCATION EVER!!! I've been renting cars from this company well over 15 years and have never experienced the service I received today. I was there nearly an hour only to be denied a booked rental after providing my rent statement, electric bill, water bill, company I work for, time with company, current address, supervisor name and all other kinds of information I've NEVER been asked for. When the lady started asking all the questions about my employer I felt she was being ridiculous as no other customers (not AA) were held up like me they were all moved in and out about their day including a guy that "just booked on Expedia". Granted I was paying with my debit card and there are all kinds of guidelines and restrictions I met the criteria including the $300 deposit for a standard vehicle rental. After giving all of my personal information she says I have to use a credit card. Hilarious just freaking hilarious!!! I do not like credit and rarely use it but I hand over my credit card and she says it declined and can only be scanned once. No notification from the card company or anything saying she even tried. Ma'am i only wanted to take my mom on a short road trip since her stroke and now my blood pressure is high! What a great way to start such a special trip to me! No other rental cars available in Dallas not even from their competitors so guess ill be take my own SUV read more

I truly cannot imagine a worse experience. I have to rent a car on the regular for work travel and have used every company out there, yet never had anything like what I experienced with Enterprise. I can guarantee you they'll never get my business again. I had to use them locally while my car was being repaired and its who my insurance uses. I must have called and talked to Enterprise a good 12 times during this process because of how much they screwed up, from not picking me up when they were supposed to, to claiming they didn't have cars at any of their local locations until finally being connected with the right person, to endless incorrect billing errors, to telling me they'd comp some days because of all the hassle only to slyly charge me anyway and I didn't notice until looking over my credit cared statement. I LOOKED UP THEIR NUMBER TO TALK WITH THEM, THEY FORWARDED ME TO A CALL CENTER. I had dealings with this branch during my Acura airbag recall and it was relatively uneventful. They worked hard and delivered on promises. They told me to call them whenever I needed a car in the future and they would take care of me. I looked up their number today to book a car for the coming week. I LOOKED UP THEIR NUMBER. The person that answered the phone forwarded me to the national reservations call center, who proceeded to quote me MAX RATE. Never again. I guess they didn't really mean what they said. Well, I had just moved and began updating my address on different things so none of my stuff matched yet nor was I initially going to fly. My husband was going to come with me if we were able to get a rental since we could only afford both of us going if driving, otherwise only 1 of us could go. You may ask where? We had a death in the family. It is my side so my husband told me to go ahead and go alone. I am not a happy camper about this but will be flying solo. It's happened to me 3 times at Dallas TX locations. I'm done with these fools and shame on me for giving them another chance. Several Several unfortunate events in recent history have caused me to need a rental from this location as I've been having repairs done up the street at Service King. There's one guy who seems know know what he's doing and is able to get things filed, paid for, updated, etc. But everyone else seems really perplexed by their computer system. I've gotten 4 different cars from them. One of them was really good, nice and clean, the others have had room for improvement. This last one was sticky and smells weird. Things are slow, and I've spent way too much time in that office. They can't ever explain the rental rates clearly and they say things they can't actually offer. My first visit they said they didn't have any cars at all. Although Service King had called ahead for me. It all just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. read more

These people are awesome! Their employees went above and beyond for me - especially Mr. Chase Ward. He picked me up from a location to get the rental and dropped me off when I returned the vehicle. Even though I had returned the car close to closing time, Chase went pretty out of his way to help me out and drop me off. From what I saw, the rest of their team is very helpful, professional, and they all seem to be very chill. The office was clean and organized. The vehicle was clean and had only 8k miles on it! Avoid at all costs! They mysteriously charged my card 5 months after my rental with no explanation. When I called, they said "there is no information on this charge." I relayed that information to my credit card company who advised me to close my account in case of fraud. Then I get a lovely letter in the mail from Enterprise saying I have to pay this amount or my credit is f***ed. I called 3 more times and was told I'd get a call back from a manager (that I never got) to ask about why I was being charged 5 months after my rental (which was paid for). If you like mysterious charges to your credit card throughout the year and managers who never call you back, definitely rent from here! read more

The Assistant Managers at this location we're both very unhelpful in my search for Premium Car Rental Availability. Andres asked for my reservation number and then provided vague answers that referred me back to another relocation for assistance. I asked Andres to speak with the Branch Manager and he instead transferred me to his colleague, who states that she is the only an assistant manger as well. She escalated her voice to the extreme on the phone and hung up. She would not provide her name or the information for the Branch Manager. I would not ever recommend this location for any renter, especially for an insurance reservation. Another Branch Manager (Zach Pecina) is extremely helpful in restoring customer relations regarding this matter. I will report the Oaklawn Location staff to corporate and again WILL NOT RECOMMEND any business to that location. read more

I rarely rent a car, but I needed an SUV to haul some stuff for a few hours. I made my reservation online and called an hour before my reservation time to request a pick up. It took 15 minutes to get through to the branch. Not a problem, I know it's busy towards the end of the day. Hailey comes on the line. I explain that I have a reservation and need a pick up. She tells me that my address is more than 2 miles away and they don't pick up from where I live. (I live 2.2 miles away. The next closest enterprise is 5 miles away.) Then she says they can't pick me up at 5:30 because it's too close to when they close. I told her I could be picked up in 10 minutes if that was easier. She put me on hold to talk to her manager. Comes back on the line, says someone will be at my address within 30 minutes. An hour later I call the branch to find out if someone is still coming to pick me up. 3 attempts and 25 minutes on hold combined, a gentleman comes on the line and tells me someone named Kayla was en route 30 minutes ago to pick me up. I could hear Kayla explain that Hailey gave her instructions to take care of something or someone else. I'm not an unreasonable person. I know it's Friday and there is traffic and the office is busy. I worked for Enterprise for 2 years. I know what a grind it is, but whoever Hailey is--she needs to work on her customer service skills. My managers would have crucified me for telling a customer we couldn't pick someone up -- nevermind the distance or a reservation. The Assistant Manager has his act together and is reliable. Hopefully he can pass his skills on to his team. read more

Do not, I repeat Do not rent a car from this location, their was even an article in the Dallas Morning News about the high number of complaints about charging for scratches, bumps etc that with any other car company. The manager called asking for over $500.00 and then went to my insurance company, even though they did not pay, it still went on my insurance. AWFUL, HORRIBLE, DISHONEST ETC. Yes they are so nice when they pick you up etc, but wait until your drop the car off and they pull out the mircroscope to inspect your car, their was just an article last week about the poor guy who they called 3 hours after dropping off the car saying that he now owed over $300.00 in scratches!
