I reserved a car then came to wait for 2 hours and still not seen the car. It's just ridiculous.

Got there and turned in my keys after 2 bad service instances (see last review). I turned in my key and the assistant manager (Richard) took my rental key, waited a bit, and decided it was ok to do an inspection to make sure the rental was ok WITHOUT me being with him. I've never seen this, because normally they do it with you to make sure there's an agreement with potential issues. I had to follow Richard out to check the rental and he didn't notice me following him as he high-fived a fellow employee. I was then told my rude service would be taken care of and that the employee who called me and lied about my policy, as well as the person who so eloquently spoke to me like dirt, would be spoken to about their attitude. My compensation= free upgrade next time I use them, which is useless because I don't plan on using them anytime soon. I even have to call the location back after to get this "compensation." I need to know that some sort of explanation is given to your employees not to BS me on the phone and in person, and it isn't going to come from someone who doesn't have common courtesy practices like explaining why or when he's checking the car solo. read more

Don't come here. Very unprofessional staff. They make you wait so long to get a vehicle. You shouldn't have to wait because they are under staffed. They don't understand that time is precious to the customer!!!! read more

Choose a different location. Under staffed and they don't stock cars on the lot. We've been waiting 30 min to get our car after checking in and having a reservation. There's still 3 other people ahead of us who've been sitting here waiting for who knows how long. From experience their return process is just as slow. read more

This bad experience was with their call center, not the staff in this location. I called them up to set up a pick-up the next day morning at 9am and the guy took my order. But nobody showed up the next day so I called again then I was told they would only schedule pick-up on the same day. How come the first guy didn't tell me in the first place? Therefore, my pick-up was delayed for 40 mins. This stressful experience could have been avoided by a well trained call center staff. read more

I really appreciated the service I got from this Enterprise location! The Takata airbag debacle has affected many people. For me, I was asked not to put anyone in the front seat of my car until the replacement for the recalled part had arrived. Possibly up to a year!! Longo Lexus was fantastic and provided alternative transportation for me to use until parts became available. The service advisor directed me over to the Enterprise Rent A Car that is on site at Longo. I was checked in to a car, efficiently. They were knowledgeable about the recall issue and were able to answer all my questions about a long-term rental. Throughout the time I had their car, which totaled 5 months, I only received 2 phone calls. Once to ask if everything was working out with the car and once to ask about the cars mileage, so they could keep up on the maintenance. Once my car was fixed, checking in the car was as easy as it gets!! Steve Lu did an inspection of the car, checked the gas and the mileage and sent me in my way. I hope this is the Enterprise location inside of the Longo Toyota Collision center* Anyway the lady that helped me was extremely kind and patient. (Really wish I knew her name). I watched her balance answering multiple calls while helping a queue of people in front of her. She was very patient with people and aware of who was next in line to be helped. When it my turn it was quick and painless to get access to a car. I had a choice of two cars and chose a Nissan Sentra. The car itself was silver and looked clean. The interior was also clean and smelled pleasant. Returning the car was very painless too. I parked it exactly where I picked it up and then went inside to tell the same lady I was here to turn the car back in. She told me to wait a couple minutes while she examined the car. She promptly came back and gave me some paperwork. Overall my experience here was overwhelmingly smooth and positive. read more

I rented a car here for two weeks from late july til mid august. I got great, great service from the very friendly and helpful staff! These guys are awesome and I even got my car upgraded free of charge. The only downside was that with the extra insurance the rental price became a whole lot more expensive. This is a common thing among car rental companies though and it is optional. Once again I can not expres enough how wonderful the service was. Do not rent a car from this location I repeat do not rent a car from this location!!!! The customer service is horrible they didn't even have my reservation ready there was no car available. After I booked it online T told me that I had to wait in line and there was 7 people ahead of me and it was not a guarantee that I will get an SUV. I will never in my life come back over here and I will be telling friends and family not to come back here not to mention the people were very rude. So sad the Longo Toyota has people like this in their facilities. read more

The absolute WORST enterprise location I have ever been to! I was dropping off my rental and upon inspection a staff member ripped out the AC vent and asked if I knew that it was broken! Huh? I just saw you rip it out! To which he said "oh it snaps back in," and puts it back. Then the manager wanted to file a claim and I told her I was not signing anything that says I am responsible. She then threatened to not close the rental and claim the car STOLEN!!! I couldn't believe the mess I was in and being accused of for a cheap AC vent that snapped back into the corolla. I am so glad I called upper management to find out that this was something they are NOT even authorized to say or do! DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CAR HERE! They will look for something to bill you with and keep you there for hours. read more

Horrible service. I called them for over 30 minutes, nobody answer the phone. Then someone answered the phone, I was put on hold for another 20 minutes. Finally they told me they don't provide pickup service. However their ads shows they can provide local pickup service. read more

Terrible branch to rent from. Renter beware. The Toyota side is always out of cars. If you're going in for service, be prepared. Toyota covers any size vehicle, but they try to saddle you with a corolla. They give you a hard time to give you a full size car like a Camry. Try the one up the street on Peck and Ramona. Horrible location, they only have one attendant at one of the busiest locations.... BTW if someone happens to get in front of you they go before you... even if you're next in line. No real system lots of employees with an enterprise sweater walking around with no real desire to help or even ask if you've been attended. Today I'm returning a car.... 30 minute wait... picking up the car was worse, 50 minutes... go someplace else, they don't have a real system here... :( read more

STEVE LU IS THE MAN! This Enterprise location is nestled within the Collision Center of Longo Toyota so if you are seeking a rental here, chances are you've been brought in due to unfortunate circumstances. Already dealing with the pain of an accident, my experience with Steve was nice and refreshing. I've interacted with him both over the phone and in-person and he has great memory. The process to get my rental was seamless. He went through my best options, fixed me up with a nice ride, and provided nothing short of top-of-the-line care. Steve even went out of his way to help when complexities ensued with my insurance. I could not be more thankful, Steve's customer service is unmatched! Not only was Steve exceptional, but so was the customer service of the rest of the team. I received a follow-up call a few days after getting my rental to ensure everything was still going smoothly. I've gone through multiple rentals for trips before and have never seen anyone check-in after handing off the keys. That just speaks to their level of service here. I rented a 2019 Nissan Frontier from Enterprise 3534 N. Peck Rd, El Monte upon return the Mgr informed me Richard from J & R Auto Repair at 2132 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead called to report (snitch) that he had just done repairs to the right side doors that where undetectable to the naked eye in any case the Mgr said he was going to charge a $500.00 deductible, and banned me for life from renting again, 2 weeks later I get an email from Enterprise billing me for $1500.00! listing items repaired and replaced beyond the area of the doors, the estimate was done at NY Auto Body 5939 Oak Ave, Temple City by Neno Aroyan if anyone has had similar incidents with these companies please post replies read more

I had rented a car for 9 days and was given a quote of $313.16. When I returned the car, I was given a bill for $402.00. Two days later, after thoroughly scrutinizing the bill, I sent an email to Enterprise, requesting a detailed explanation for all of the charges. No one ever responded to my request, which was sent on May 7. I would still like to get a response. Here is the message that I sent: I am confused as to how my total charges were initially $313.16 when I made the reservation and then jumped to $402.34 when I returned the car. I understand about the fuel charge, but please tell me what the following charges are for: DW - $80.91 PAI - $27.00 Also, I did not not ask for roadside assistance protection. The woman who helped me was kind enough to give me a free upgrade since there were no standard cars available. However, when she asked me if I had rented a car from your location before and I said "yes", she circled areas that needed to be signed or initialed without explaining what each section meant. Please clarify why there is an $89.18 difference between what I thought I would be paying and what I actually ended up paying. Your assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you. read more

I recently had my Lexus serviced at Longo; an unexpected problem was discovered which turned a routine short service into something requiring that I have a loaner car. Longo Lexus itself was out of cars but sent me down to their associated Enterprise outlet (used for the Toyota part of Longo). In the midst of an exceptionally busy day for rentals, I showed up wanting a car as soon as possible so that I could make a meeting. Brian Gerlach of Enterprise was amazingly accommodating, finding me a van at no upcharge and having me out the door in 10 minutes. Kudos, Brian...your service and attitude were impeccable and resulted in a very positive experience for me. I thank you! read more

They had me here for about 45 min. I had called here earlier an told them.i had reservations at 3 but i would need to get the car earlier around 1 they said it would be ok. I even asked them that if they would have the car i was going to rent avaliable and the asured me that they had plenty of cars. First i got here an i told them my situation again they said unfortunately if i wanted the car i had on my reservation that i would have to wait for one to get in because they didnt have it avaliable. I told them i couldnt wait so then they told me i would have to upgrade, i was in a hurry so i had no choice but to get what they had avaliable. i didnt use a credit card and ended up using my atm to leave a deposit they told me i needed a utility bill to verify my address i told them i walked to this enterprise an i didnt bring those items with me to which they replied "you do understand that we are lending you the car and we need to verify, where you live" like i was dumb. yes i do understand that but you never told me to bring something to verify my address. I had my ID, and i had my insurance information with my current address but they said that would not count. so i had to go into my phone and try to pull out something with my current address which took a very long time. after i finally was able to take care of that about 30 min later (reminder i was in a hurry) i was able to go. the drop off was even worse i dropped off the car and they said at the very bottom of the rear bumper on the right side of the care it was scrapped i let them know that i took very good care of the car and i didnt do that. plus it was not even noticable either way they said that have to file a claim. i was presistant that i didnt do it and how do i know that the sctrach was not there when i recieved the car because even if i did do the walk through with them it was something i wouldnt have noticed. like i said either way they did a claim and ended up charging me another $250 ..... so all in all like i marked it was a 1 star experience and i was not very happy :( read more

This was the first time my sister and I rent a car but it was not a pleasant experience at all. We went to the longo toyota location. The staff (I think her name is Danielle) was starring at us and did not greet us. She was not helpful and seems not willing to answer our questions. Due to the bad customer service, my sister and I decided not to rent a car here and we waited there to get the documents of our toyota car. We saw her being very helpful with the next customer (not Asian). This makes us feel really bad... She treated us bad because we are asians? Bad customer service! I will tell my Asian friends not to rent a car here as they wont be nice to Asians. read more

I wrote an excellent review to this place like a month ago but now I am taking it back. I did a reservation online to get a car for the weekend April 17'2015. But I know that was my mistake for not check that I didn't make it to the usual location that I always use (inside longo totota) Instead I did the reservation on the other branch in El Monte. Anyhow a day before a nice lady from the other location call me around 10-11 in the morning to confirmed my reservation, after clear my mistake about the branch location she nicely told me if I will like, she can transferred my reservation to the location at longo toyota since I made it an early time to pick up (7:30am) and they open at 8am. For 30 mins time difference I should stay to this reservation but oh well, I choosed to changed since all the times that I'd got a rental from this location its been a really nice experience... What a mistake! I came to the location at 7:30, nobody was ahead of Me either to pick up or drop off a rental, a guy took my info and get all the paperwork together to get me ready and leave with the rental. Even we talked about that nobody was there because the early time and the day of the week. So they told me to take a seat and wait to get my car.... So i kept waiting for around 20mins, and for real I'd start wondering why was the reason of the delay. Since NOBODY was there and you see 2 people just seating there doing NOTHING (since was NO customers). So another guy came in and I asked the guy that took my information, what was the reason of the delay and the guy in the other computer jumped in the conversation and said : "We are getting ready your car!" In what way this people was getting ready the rental if they was doing NOTHING BEHIND THE DESK! Not even an attemp to call somebody and ask or something. After this incident was taking progress this guy "Sergio" he said that my reservation was not in the system so that's why the reason of the delay since they have to check with the other branch and they wasnt open yet, now with an smart remark answer. Making remark in the location mistake and I replay back, that is a LIE since I went online a night before and I checked if the lady over the phone really transferred the reservation and for real she did it! That's why I went pretty confident to the location. So the incident made Us pretty upset and more upset since this guy "Sergio" was answering back with smart remarks But the all point of this was the question why they have Us waiting for over more that 20 mins to get a car since was at that time 3 people (THREE!) behind the desk and nobody (ZERO) people was ahead of Us. Is not right Telling me that was because my mistake, seriously? As I said this "Sergio" guy so means that you guys can do nothing just because of that, if As I said, I checked myself in the website and the info was corrected and transferred a day before... So I dont understand the attitude, making the customer feel responsible for this delay when as I said nobody was there except for 3 people doing nothing behind the desk. The most outrageous part was when one of the guys took Us outside and tell Us, that they was getting ready the car that's why they have Us waiting.. SERIOUSLY!!! That car WAS THERE when we parked to pick up the rental!! Comm'n...!!!! REALLY?! Not a good experience I hope the customer service of Enterprise for real call me as they did the last time when I did my last review. 1.For real not a good experience 2. For now I will swap locations (may be) 3. Enterprise Customer Service, make sure that let your employees that there is TOO many options in car rental companies, so thank to Us as a customers they have a JOB 4. I've had previous rental at this location of Enterprise, and never had any problem until now. My family and I already had a reservation for a rental from our insurance company, but they couldn't find it in the system; which was perfectly fine. The only complaint I have is the enterprise person name Edgar that was working on our rental agreement. He was really rude and always had some sort of smirk remark to every question we had. It felt like he didn't want to help us and we were the only one there at that time. Also note, they will try to scam you by scaring you to sign up to use their insurance policy if your insurance doesn't cover it. In most cases, your insurance should cover it. Don't be fooled. My insurance told me often rental places do this to rip people off even more. On top of all of that, the car that I rented wasn't even full tank. It was at half tank upon arrival. Just bad customer service all around. read more

I would like to thank RC and Darwin, for their professionalism in dealing with my situation. My car is having damaged repaired close to my home, I needed to switch out my rental car. They did a fabulous job, I was impressed. I called RC about 12 noon and explained what I needed,he stated they would be able to accomplish my request. I arrived at 3:30 and spoke with Darwin who spoke with RC, they handled issue with ease. Kevin retrieved my new rental, the professionalism of this location was OUTSTANDING!!! I didn't understand why there is so many bad reviews, i guess it must be for his co-workers. Now people the most important thing in everything that requires your signature is to throughly read the document before signing it!!!! I seen people not bother to read the paper, sign it and leave in a hurry! Thats just stupid! A little bit of your time can save a whole bunch of money and time!!!! I overheard a guy complain about the price he has to pay and complain that it wasnt written down on the paper, he was proven wrong and he still wanted to argue about it! Got charged for car insurance $112. Was never notified that insurance was charged per day. Went back to dispute the charges and was told to get a phone call back the next day (NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK). Customer service was definitely horrible. Recommendation do not go there for car rental. read more

They don't know the point of reservations. I made a reservation over a week ago. Came and checked in. It didn't even matter that I had made a reservation. Told me the wait time was an hour. We made a reservation for a mini van for the Easter Vacation. The price was $65 a day. Luckily I decided to confirmed my reservation. I found out about it two day prior to the trip the guy at the enterprise cancel my reservation. Same guy again said all the van are out there is no more vans or 7 passenger car. But on the web site show that there is still mini van available. This is one of the worst experience I had. read more

I took my vehicle to Longo Toyota for some maintenance and needed a rental from the adjacent Enterprise. I was told upon check in that it would be 30-45 minutes for a vehicle because they did not have any cars to rent at the moment and were waiting for more to be brought. After waiting 30 minutes, I went to the desk to check on the progress and verify that I should be getting a rental vehicle in the next 15 minutes or so. I was informed that it would be a minimum of an hour wait still to get the rental vehicle. When I told him that my initial wait time was 30-45 minutes and I've already been waiting 30 minutes so how could it still be an hour wait (I'm not a math genius so maybe I just needed someone to double check my arithmetic). The clerk responded to me by saying, "well who told you that". Incredulously I told him that you guys (the clerk and his partner) told me that 30 minutes ago. He responded by saying, "oh well, it's an hour wait from now". Needless to say I paid out the $ for an Uber and left with a half hour wasted and much frustration. read more
