I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this location. Deaunte the manager put me in the middle of business between Gerber Collision and Enterprise. He wouldn't let me take the vehicle to get to an appointment without giving my credit card as collateral because he said "Gerber doesn't pay their bills and that's what his manager Chris Lepera told him to do." So yep I got mad and cussed at him. He then told me he wouldn't help me. I proceeded to try to rent a car over the phone from Enterprise at that location but had a hard time communicating with the operators due to a language barrier. So I have no car to rent and I wasn't even supposed to be the one paying for it. Gerber is fronting the bill. I made a reservation through the website. I am currently on hold for the 3rd time, we are up to 15 minutes and 30 seconds for a message to come on and say, We can not transfer you. I'm not caring for the customer service already. Calling back for the 4th time to actually speak to someone at the location. Have heard, we are sorry for short delay, all customer service are assisting other customers. Guess I will take additional time to drive to the location. I am now up to holding for six minutes. They should be swamped. Jean, please feel free to call me to discuss my reservation. Below is my call log from Verizon. Never did I speak to a person for 61 minutes. Just call went dead. Then to enter you location and three individuals are already waiting and the other employee decides that a good time to need to step away from her desk. Four people waiting. As I sat there I was never asked what I needed, did I have a reservation. So I got up and walked out. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. We've rented from this place at least 3 other times and this was the last time my boyfriend and I will give our business to Enterprise. On April 1st at 2pm we had a reservation at another enterprise location but they gave the rental we signed up for online to someone else. So we moved our reservation to the Fairfield location since they told us they would accept us and had what we were looking for. We then arrived at the Fairfield location around 3 things got worse. We have a different address on our drivers license because we moved and due to covid we haven't updated it yet (we've rented from here 3 times with our new address not matching our drivers license). They asked to see a duke bill and that was no problem we just received it since it is due in the middle of the month. We show the manager and he says he needs to see it at a balance of $0.00. We asked why since we had never heard of that before and he could not give us an answer. There was no reason for it to be at $0.00 if it wasn't due yet. The manager said there's a way to show $0.00 on the app, so my boyfriend moved closer and asked if he could show us how to do it since he just said he knew how to and the manager jumped back because he felt threaded (we were just showing him the phone?). Since it was a big deal to the manager we paid the bill right then and there and without needing a copy, us to sign documents or anything all of a sudden "we could get the car". It is now 4pm we FINALLY get the car and we feel racially profiled. My boyfriend dressed a little more casual than he normally does since we were going on a long road trip. I don't think there is a coincidence that now that he's wearing a durag (he just got his hair cut), joggers and nikes that now they "have to see a duke bill at a $0.00 balance". I will never use enterprise again. I refuse to be disrespected and belittled by that company again. read more

We rented a LG suv. From this location and spent $800 for 5 days. We traveled to chg home for holidays with our 5yo twins. We had huge problems with the steering when on the rode. Thought it needed new tires but they informed us of just getting new ones. Handling this vehicle was unsafe. My husband had a stroke while there so our son in law dropped it off and said also the drive was horrible. We reported it along with corporate calling us. You think they would have credit some of the cost back to us! No they didn't! Hopefully they fix it b4 someone else drives it!​ read more

We had a confirmed same day reservation at 12n for a mini van. Pick up was scheduled for 5:30, being closing time, we arrived at 5:10. The manager informed us that he had called an hour earlier to let us know he didn't have a van and that it would be an extra $200+ and the gas mileage would be 23mi/gal vs 28-30 in the van. for us to rent the Expedition he did have. Our response was that the only way that worked was for him to honor the confirmation price we had and we would make due with the larger vehicle we didn't want to afford in gas or driving inconveniences. The conversation was: Mgr-"No, it doesn't work that way, I can't change prices in the system." Me- "That it wasn't our problem, we had a confirmed rental." Mgr- "It is your problem, and I tried to contact you before you arrived." Me- "I have a missed call from a Hamilton number , but no message" He then decided to ignore us while typing at the computer. Until my husband asked what about other locations near us, we will go to Dayton if necessary we have to have a vehicle. Mgr- "I tried ALL the locations in our area, no one has a mini-van." Husband - "West Chester?" I can't be positive what his mumbled response here was, but my husband then asked him to call and he immediately says, Mgr-"yeah, your welcome to call them." This is where I left the building. It is not the responsibility of the customer to fill inventory for a confirmed reservation. If I show up for a tool, home, dinner table or any other confirmed reservation I am not responsible for getting those objects to be available for use. A vehicle does not have any such unique set circumstances to a different rental situation. Request, Confirmation, Agreement, Execution. After another 10-15 min, we had a manager at the West Chester location (Dishon) who was able to honor our confirmation and transfer the reservation to the following morning. THANK YOU DISHON and CEDRIC! When we arrived 8:30a the van was ready, Cedric Woods was the most pleasant and professional person to work with. We didn't tell our story and he didn't apologize or mention and I appreciate that we could just get in with our journey. Mr. Woods is the reason we will return to that West Chester location. Had that locations experience been less, we would not be doing business with Enterprise at all. We have rented in the past, my husband rents for work a couple of times a year and we will need rentals in the future as our family is moving and growing. Cedric Woods I am extremely grateful for, when we returned he was exactly the same. I have every confidence that young man works at that level always, we were treated with respect and kindness not because of the negativity of others at the beginning but because he is that person. We will only suggest business to Enterprise at that West Chester location. We will deter, anyone who asks for rental suggestions, from the Hamilton location. I will be leaving the same review through Enterprise as well. read more

I would highly recommend not renting from this location. They are ok with giving you a car that is dirty inside and out including a driver's seat with a live baby bed bug on it. They then except you to go through corporate to get a refund only for them to give you the run-around. Needless to say I paid for a van for 4 days plus a $100 deposit only to have the car for approximately 1 hour (I was going to clean it myself, but once i found the bed bug I turned around and returned the van). read more

It turns out the long wait time to get your car is due to two things - when you go in there and whether or not you've made a reservation. The way to do it here is to call ahead, book your car and have them pick you up. The paperwork is done when you arrive and you just walk out, give the car a quick once-over and drive off. Nothing to it. Avoid first thing in the morning and the last two hours of the day. It's always packed with people whose car won't start or broke down or was in an accident (or some other misadventure). It also bears mentioning again that the staff here are terrific, friendly, always smiling and ready to help. read more

This is my go to car rental agency. I have been using them pre-Yelp and have a long relationship with them so this review is more about all of my experiences dealing with them rather than just one transaction. This location has been able to hire the nicest, most courteous, and knowledgeable young people that I have ever encountered. Every time that I have ever been there, I have left with a warm feeling that I received more value from their service than the money that I spent. Their cars are always clean and well maintained. The only problem that I have ever had from one of their rentals was that I had to add a little air to one tire after having it for a week and putting 900 miles on it. That is pretty phenomenal in my opinion. This is definitely a well run operation in this location and they will continue to get this satisfied customer's business any time that I need a rental car. read more

Not satisfied with the service I've received from this location. I was promised a Dodge Charger when I originally picked up the vehicle. I was advised a Charger wasn't available, and was given a Toyota Camry instead. I was told I would be contacted when a Charger was available. Well, that was a week ago. Yesterday I contacted the branch, and was advised that they had one due back by 6pm. No call by 5:55, so I decided to stop in while I was in the area. The desk rep offered to give me a Dodge Dart instead, which is a smaller vehicle. I declined. This morning while at work, I get a call from them advising they have a charger available now. I'm unable to leave to pick it up, and I ask if they can hold it until 3, they refuse. The only thing they can offer me at this point is to "follow up" with the stores near me to see if they have one available. I'm not holding my breath at this point. This will also be addressed with my insurance company since they are the ones who recommended them. **UPDATE: After speaking with the District Manager and getting a better vehicle than I asked for initially, I have decided to revise my rating. They did salvage a long standing relationship between myself and them. read more

Had a bad experience at this location. The vehicle I picked up was running poorly and felt unsafe. I returned it next am and wasn't offered a solution except wait several hours for replacement. Had to call a ride and the manager didn't even say try to help. Thanks enterprise read more

5 stars for the customer service and friendly staff at this location. Even when it was packed and there were some irate customers in front of me, the staff remained professional and kept checking in with me apologizing about the wait until someone was available. waited even though I had a reservation, and when I got the car there was a stain and smell in the back seat, and there was leftover Burger King in the trunk--they apparently missed that when cleaning. Not a great experience, but we needed a car and we got one. read more
