I booked a reservation online for my aunt who is elderly. She & my uncle were on a roadtrip when their car broke down in Seligman and got towed to Flagstaff, where they needed a rental car. I was unable to get ahold of the location directly to verify vehicles in stock (inconvenient) and was connected to the reservation line who confirmed there was many vehicles available for rent, so I booked a reservation online. Upon arrival the employee confirmed with my aunt she had a rental for a sedan and asked for ID and credit card. After the employee said this, the branch manager, Deni Ortiz, walked over, interrupted the employee in a rude disrespectful tone, told them "no, no, we are not renting any cars". My aunt questioned Deni why cars are not being rented when there are many cars parked on the lot and another customer was there getting keys to a rental vehicle. Deni refused and could not provide a reason. He was condescending, unprofessional and called my aunt "girl" and "lady". This is unacceptable behavior from a branch manager. Upon leaving another employee came outside and told my aunt that Deni is a bad manager, rude, and to submit a complaint to the area manager, Faruk Kiroglu. She gave a business card with their information. We have yet to receive a response from the area manager Faruk or Enterprise. AVOID this company and the terrible poor customer service and management. We will never do business with Enterprise ever again nor recommend it to anyone. Do better Enterprise. No one deserves this treatment. read more

My husband and I rented a Jeep renegade from this facility after having to come to Flagstaff to deal with a family medical emergency. The first vehicle ended up having electrical issues a few days into our rental so we returned it for one that would be safer. The person that processed that said to tell the next customer service rep what happened so maybe we could get some compensation instead of handling it then and there himself. When we found we needed to fly out of Phoenix to maintain continuity of care for our family member, the same representative said it would cost several hundred dollars more to return earlier to a different facility. My husband was able to process a return the same day in the app instead and request a larger rental that could be dropped off in Phoenix for hundreds of dollars cheaper. This showed laziness on behalf of the representative on the phone. Once my husband dropped off the rental and picked up the new one, they weren't able to provide a receipt for the drop off which was obviously upsetting given the lack of customer service we had already received. In response, another representative demanded the keys back from the rental he had just gotten for us and when he said no because we had just rented it, she got a police officer to force the return of the keys. Thank you for leaving my husband stranded and stressed at the airport while we are dealing with a family medical emergency. The lack of empathy and customer service from this facility has convinced us never to rent from enterprise again regardless of the location. read more

Got a smaller Mercedes cry type car. The car was very squeaky and the passenger seatbelt was dirty on the upper part. Like some type of gooey green stuff. Didn't touch or clean it off. Got to witness their terrible customer service. A very nice family was left stranded by them near our home. The rental car they had broke down. They were speaking to budget rental car customer service multiple times and they would not bring them a new car, or a cab. nothing! They sent a tow driver for their car and left them stranded 30min outside of flagstaff. It was 4pm they said a car "might" be able to get them in 2.5 hours. They had already been there an hour. If this is how you want to spend your vacation, use enterprise rental car and be left at texaco in a rural town with no hotels, uber or restaurants. The guy working is doing the best he can but enterprise has this place understaffed. My plans are completely off track now because of enterprise being cheap on their staffing. I had a great experience with Enterprise at the Flagstaff Airport. I made a reservation to pick up my car after I landed at this airport, and the process of signing the contract and paying for the rental was extremely smooth. The agent that helped me out was very kind and explained everything in detail to me. I came back the next day with a request to rent the same car again and return it at a different airport. Again, she was very helpful, was able to accommodate my last-minute request, and provided a quote that was cheaper than the other rental companies (Hertz, etc.). Super easy and drama free, exactly what you want from a car rental place. They were quick in getting us a car and even upgraded us at no cost. When we returned, we had to go to the FBO next door and she said go ahead and leave it there, I will pick it up later. That was awesome! If I could put less stars I would. I had a terrible experience. My situation: I was driving my car to New Mexico , and unfortunately my car broke down an hour outside of flagstaff. I tried everything to get back into town, I had a convention the next day, and really needed help. So I called every rental car place in the area all were closed, tow trucks ,mechanics, nothing open except for enterprise. we spoke to a guy on the phone who assured me if I could get into town, to call as soon as we were there and he would send a van to pick us up and get us set up with a car in no time. So we coasted in to town, called and had no answer. I saw on the map we were only a mile away so figured we would continued to call , and start walking. we didn't realize there were two locations and we were at the wrong one. so we searched and kept calling , hoping for a ride or help but we found the air port was not to much farther. so we coasted our car further damaging the smoking thing to the air port. We got there and ran in, hoping to not be late but we were not greeted, I started thinking they closed but then finally a women came to the desk asking for our reservation. We told her about the guy we just spoke to , who said he'd have a car ready when we got here cause of our situation. She basically explained that they didn't even have enough cars for the people that made reservations 2 weeks ago. And age didn't know why their system didn't notify us. we were basically out of luck. She said try tomorrow morning. I told her our car was hardly running and we didn't know if we could get back tomorrow, she said to try the other rental car places in the airport. A man then walked by (over hearing us from hertz rental ) and said you aren't getting anything without a reservation. :( Flag staff has all their rental cars at the airport and they are almost all run by the same people, So I asked the few people still working from hertz and enterprise and the others that if I confirmed if I made reservation tonight we will be set for tomorrow? they said yes. I was a little upset when we left because we had been running around like headless chickens , it was a stressful day and to get there with the little hope that we had and have it smashed was really defeating. So I prepared . That night I made a apointment with a mechanic got our car there, a hotel and a taxi . I made SEVERAL reservations with enterprise and every other place and got ready for 7am sharp. We got there, to which someone said" hey you were here yesterday, have a reservation this time?" (I thought it was kinda Rude? I'm Sorry my car decided to break and I'm stranded, leaving me not much notice to notify you , oh and one of your coworkers misleadingly told me to go through your job and get a car that didn't exist) but I replied yes we did. :) They laughed and said we still don't have any cars. But good news I made a ton of reservations right? Wrong, I waiting in all the lines, and had my reservations for each company but everyone I spoke to told me nope, That I couldn't expect to show up with only 12 hour notice and get a car. (Again I didn't plan this) I'm in tears at this point I told them how I really needed help and was told that they had cars to which they again laughed and said "just because the site has them doesn't mean they do"(how are they suppose to help me or anyone then?)...I explained to them not only the web site had them , but I had also spoken to a few of their coworkers who said they would have cars available. But no Avis was the only company kind and honest. :/ My bad review is for enterprise consistlantly telling me one thing and then not following through when I just needed honesty . In fact it's for everyone at the flag staff airport , except Avis , for being very rude , joking in the back room and for making me feel like I was inconveniencing them and making me feel like I was being demanding and inconsiderate. I did everything they asked , I was on time and understanding yes teary eyed, but with the little time I had, I couldn't do much. I was treated poorly, no one was friendly , or honest they made me waste 80 bucks on taxis getting to and from the airport for nothing. In the end, I feel a little lied to and it was just bad timing. I wish they would make their system more reliable so that we all could've been on the same page. Terrible experience ,I was embarrassed and very stressed and I cannot say they made my situation any better, and it's not their job to help me when I'm stranded , but they didn't have to make things worse. I understand we were asking for a lot with little notice, I didn't plan to need a rental car or for my car to be stuck in flagstaff for a week broken. I reserved an economy car for a week but when I went to pick it up there was no cars left except a Dodge Charger. John gave it to me for the same price. This rental in Flagstaff was the best rental car experience I have ever had: no pressure, very individual service (the agent actually got the car himself,) liberal gas policy (in fact, I was given credit for unused gas,) and free upgrade. Although we had to wait a few minutes for the car to be cleaned and prepped, it was well worth it. Part of it was the small size of the airport/operation, but I would rent from Enterprise Flagstaff again in a second. read more
