I dropped my vehicle off July 11 at the adjoining Service King for repairs and proceeded next door to pick up my rental car. Corey was very pleasant & efficient in processing my paperwork. All ran smoothly until I returned that Saturday to return my rental & pick up my car from Service King. To be clear, I have no complaints about Enterprise. Cory processed my pick up and drop off and was great on both ends. However, the system in place between Enterprise and Service King needs to be more streamlined on the weekends. *See below for Service King's review* I dropped my vehicle off for repair on Wednesday, July 11th & was notified that it was ready for pickup Friday afternoon. I came that Saturday morning to pick up my vehicle and discovered that there was a discrepancy in the repair and no mechanic was available to address it at the time. At this point, I had already relinquished my rental car to the adjoining Enterprise car rental store (takeaway: wait until after). Apparently, on the weekends there is no one there to authorize Service King assuming responsibility for a rental when your vehicle repair is not up to par. When it was determined that I would have to leave my car for additional repair, I was presented with two options: Leave my car and incur the cost for another rental or take my car and bring it back for repair on Monday when the necessary personnel would be available to sign off on Service King providing the rental. Neither of those options were acceptable to me. At the very least, there should have been someone on call to provide the needed authorization. At no point should I, as the customer, be responsible for assuming cost when a repair discrepancy existed on their end. Cory & Brian of Enterprise, while very empathetic, were unable to provide any assistance because they needed the authorization form in question. Ultimately, a Repair Tech happened to arrive and was able to make the necessary adjustments while I waited. I would add that Carlos of Service King was very polite. There were simply very few options. When my car was assessed the second time, I was pleased with the results. It goes without saying that a policy change should be implemented. After all, what would have happened had the Repair Tech been unavailable? Overall, I'd probably use this location again for my car repair needs. It's close by and I have used them in the past with no issues. But, if the business is open, the services provided during the week should be available on the weekends, as well. read more

I am getting my car fixed and my insurance made the reservation for me to pick up a car at Enterprise on Carrier Pkwy in Grand Prairie Tx. I received a phone call from John from the store, informing me that the reservation had been made and if i want to confirm. I told him yes. He preceded to inform me of the information that my insurance company had given him and told me what my rate would be. He asked me did I know how long I would need it, I told him pep boys said probably 2 weeks or less. I told him i wad aware that it would go over the 450 allotted to us.. so lets do it for 1 week and if we needed it longer, I would be prepared to pay out of pocket if needed at that time. So he gave me my total. I askec again, how much would I have to pay up front? He told me. $440 and we set the appointment for 5:00. So we get there, only to be confronted with a totally different person and a totally different situation. Now the price has jumped to $860!! To make a looooonger story short... I was basically told by the manager that she can see where the young man made a mistake on misquoting us the price, but there was nothing that she could do and I could either pay the 860 or cancel the reservation. Now mind you, we are standing there with no car.. I was like ma'am, I have to plan for this I don't just have an extra 800 dollars sitting around smiling. If i would have known, I could've either planned for it or went a cheaper route. They told me, well ma'am you have a nice day because we can't help you. There plenty more to the story, but just know, the day of customer service is over. It's all about money, and they could care less if and when we got a ride home, they just wanted us to either pay the money they required or get out of their business! Enterprise Left My Family Stranded - No Help, No Notes, No Accountability I don't write reviews often, but what my family and I experienced with Enterprise Rent-A-Car deserves to be called out -- loudly. While traveling through a remote area of Mississippi, our rental car got a flat tire. We had two dogs, heavy luggage, and no access to rideshare services like Uber in that location. We called Enterprise Roadside Assistance multiple times, only to be forced to repeat the entire story over and over again because no notes were taken or shared between agents. Each rep -- clearly reading from a generic script, possibly from another country -- showed no urgency, no ability to act, and absolutely no awareness of the seriousness of our situation. We were passed around and placated, but not once were we helped. At one point, an Enterprise representative had the audacity to tell us to call the police for a ride. This response was not only dismissive but unacceptable -- Enterprise should have been responsible for helping us, not pushing us onto local authorities. Eventually, a tow truck arrived -- and took the car, leaving us behind stranded at the gas station in a remote area of Mississippi with all our belongings, pets, and no way to get to safety. Let me say that again: Enterprise took the car and left us abandoned at a remote gas station off the highway in Mississippi. Enterprise offered no ride, no replacement vehicle, and no support. It was only thanks to the kindness of the tow truck driver, a third-party contractor, that we were rescued -- he returned later, after his job was done, to take our family to a hotel in the dark. We were stranded over 5 hours before he returned. Which is not his fault, it simply speaks to the lack of help Enterprise provided. And it didn't stop there. When we finally got a replacement vehicle and returned it days later, the branch manager offered zero sympathy. No apology. No accountability. Instead, she just voided the rental transaction entirely, as if pretending it didn't happen could erase what we went through. Not even a "Sorry this happened to your family." This was not just a customer service failure -- it was a complete systemic breakdown in responsibility, safety, and basic human empathy. Enterprise abandoned a family with pets in a dangerous situation and couldn't even be bothered to say "we're sorry" afterward. Enterprise: you failed us on every level. You endangered our family, dismissed our concerns, and erased our experience like it never happened. If you're considering renting from Enterprise, don't. When things go wrong, they are nowhere to be found -- and worse, they won't remember you even called. You're on your own. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Maintenance warning - Car Rental Near Me - Grand Prairie, Texas

They do a quick cursory inspection when picking up the car, but dropping it off is a different story. They go over the car with a fine tooth comb, even bringing out a sun shield to find any tiny dents, but they didn't do that on pick up. And wouldn't you know...they find the tiniest dents on the roof of the car that I didn't inspect or was made note of on pick up of the car. Of course, now, my deposit is being held and they have your card on file because you suddenly owe all these fees, including WAAAAAY over inflated tolls. I will NEVER use Enterprise again!!! If they have your despot, they FIND reasons to keep it. If they have your card number, they find reasons to charge it...and don't even tell you prior to charging you. No email, phone call, nothing. Do NOT use Enterprise! You'd think they'd realize that they can make more money being upfront, honest and transparent because they'd have happy, returning customers, but instead they choose to be shady to make money. read more

Never rent a car from Enterprise!!! Made it yesterday for a 930 pick up. We'll pick you up? Nope they won't! 20 minutes late so I called and told me to go to the center. Really? That's now how you're company works! Change your motto or get a new marketing team. Now I had to get a taxi to take me to find a rental so I'm out more money. I arrive and I didn't want to release my wrath on the young man. He was a good person but their lack of internal communication is a problem. It's 10:45 and I'm already late to a meeting. Oh and they didn't even have a car that I requested and now I have to sit here waiting for someone to go to another location to bring one. What good is a company motto that's useless and what good is a confirmation # that doesn't confirm what it confirmed. Now as I'm sitting here someone returned a car size I ordered and of course now the upgrade has been downgraded. I'm a business person and I can see the benefit of them not losing an SUV that they can screw someone else with by giving me the upgrade to make up for not having a car I confirmed. Now I have to wait another 30 min for them to wash it and inspect it. No wonder they have so few stars. Worse experience ever now I will possibly miss an important meeting. For someone that rents frequently they'll never get a dime from me again. I was suppose to be on the road by 930 and I'm still in their lobby after 11am waiting. Horrible experience, never going back to this location. Lizette Rodriguez, the Branch Manager, was extremely unhelpful and wouldn't stop claiming we were lying when we said we booked the rental at her location. Even though I showed her the Grand Prairie locations phone number on my recent calls list... and still she was still treating us like we were liars. I explained that we had very bad experiences for 2 weeks with other enterprise employees before her, to secure this rental, yet she was unsympathetic and rude. Was not helpful until we were very insistent. Only 2 people were working there. We had to wait over 2 hours for the car. She was curt and had an attitude problem. Would not recommend this enterprise in the least. I am a platinum enterprise plus member; I have nothing but good experiences up until this point. read more

I called and did my homework after my truck needed repairs. I contacted the Enterprise on Camp Wisdom in Dallas Tx. First thing I was quoted $200 less then when I arrived. I had a Compact Malibu reserved Inget there they put me in a Charger which to find out was more money a day. I wasn't going to pay $400 to rent a car for a week, my truck was fixed the next day I returned the vehicle with 1 day usage. This was on a Friday at 7:30am here it is Monday 3:12pm and enterprise has yet to place my $531.00 back on my card YET when I rented the vehicle they held $609.00 IMMEDIATELY I feel if they can hold immediately they should return the same way!!... This is a shame and I will shop around next time. My experience renting a vehicle from them was not good a 2 stars is more then fare! read more

My son got a car from this place after being in an accident. I put my cc on file since he doesn't have one, but later called to ask them to remove it. WHICH THEY AGREED TO DO. Then they charge my card, anyway, and denied that they'd agreed to remove my card. So I called and Michael, the manager, got a bit of an attitude and refused to reverse the charges. Now I see why people cancel their cards to avoid paying. I tried to do the right thing and got lied to by them. I learned a couple of lessons here, one of which is not to use or refer anyone to this company again. Especially this location. They lack integrity. Update: This company has ignored attempts to contact them to get a response to this. Although they do respond to twitter messages, who advised me to call the district manager. Now my family has always used Enterprise with no issue..but I used them due to my car being repaired from an accident. I don't remember the guy's name but my God what horrible service! My uncle paid the 50.00 deposit-since he is the insurance holder-and he gave me the hardest time. Asked if I can do a money order,with attitude he responded no we dont accept them-he later told another customer they do! By the time my uncle made it there,we were both furious and the guy dryly,"my manager will make an exception". Inspected the car and refused to come and look at the dent on driver side,signed papers and walked off. No thank yous or nothing. The only reason I even went to Enterprise is because my insurance was paying for my rental. I will never, ever go to any Enterprise with my own money. In a 3 week span 3 cars, the first rattled more than my own cars, reeked of cigarette smoke, and had over 44k miles. The second was okay for a few days until it got really hot and it smelled like a dead body was in the trunk. The final car which was really small but I like a VW beetle was fun to drive. This location alone is much disorganized and I hate to use the term ghetto but it is. At first I had a compliment for the person who waited on me until I thought about it and she was the one who gave me a car that they had not checked in. Stay away from this location if you can't avoid Enterprise. I'm staying away from Enterprise. PERIOD! read more

Long lines!!!!!!! Waited forever just to return the car. They were truly understaffed. When we had to keep the car for 2 extra days, we were quoted one price. Jim the manager was getting $1100 dollars a month from my company. I used this location for all my business needs. Started out great and thought I would be renting from them for a while. However Jim thought he would ripp my company off and charge us 2000 dollars for a month. He told me to keep the car I was in for a month cause he said that the weekends were free. It turns out that he lied and overcharged me a thousand dollars extra. Ive made several attempts to call him and fix the problem, but he ignores all my calls and will not return any messages. This place under Jim's management is unhonest and unprofessional as you can get. Avoid these scamsters or they will take advantage of you any chance they get. read more

I have rented cars here multiple times. Every time, I've gotten great service from their employees.

I have rented from this Enterprise many, many times and have never had an issue. They always give me a new, clean pickup, and i have never had an ounce of trouble. They adjust my bill to give me out of state mileage, and never argue the price i pay. They are highly understaffed, which causes a backup in customers, but they have never been rude to me nor have i ever witnessed them be rude to anyone else. I busted a windshield on a truck (without insurance coverage) and paid minimal costs, which i was very pleased with. If i need to extend a day or five..... i just call them on the phone and they adjust it with no problems. Again, they are extremely busy and understaffed, but it has never affected my dealings with them! read more

Alex, their intern is very professional and polite. He picked me up at my house to get my rental and then took me back to my house after I dropped off the rental. Top-notch. However, I will say that this office's phone etiquette has something to be desired. I called before they closed on Sunday to ask a question and was left on hold for over 15 minutes, which was what I expected on the last few moments of the work day, they would either blow me off or treat me professional. I got the blow off. So I called and spoke to their assistant manager, Lauren (Laurel)? this morning to bring this unprofessionalism to their attention and was met with the excuse of "we were really busy at that time when you called"---REALLY? Two basic rules in customer service: Don't make excuses, and don't put people on hold and ignore them. To add insult to injury this Lauren (Laurel) young lady had a bit of an attitude when I inquired about how long it would take to be able to be taken back to my home, after I brought the phone issue to her attention. Seems some re-training in customer service is necessary here in this office. If it weren't for ALEX, the intern, I would have been very unimpressed with this experience, but he saved it. Oh, and the manager was no where to be found when I asked to speak to him both on the phone and then when I was there in person...Good Job, Alex! Keep up the good work and good attitude! Upsold what I ordered after I told him no and charged me an extra $200 than quoted then would not back it out and rent me the car I reserved. If I could give a Negative rate I would! They are horrible and have horrible customer service. I called they said they had an suv for me. I turned my car in to the repair shop walk over to get my rental, they lied and didnt have an suv. They then proceeded to call me a liar. I asked if they would call another location, they yelled at me became unprofessional and told me to deal with it. Then when I got upset they said I was the hostile one and called the police on me. They told me to leave but they had to let the repair shop know I needed my car back and they wouldn't do that. So even the police called them assholes. The staff turnover is high, clearly an indication of a bad working environment. My experience from renting there was moderately bad that turned into a nightmare with the last rental. It started out with my lost drivers license and after a few days of constantly retracing my steps looking for it I called Enterprise to inquire. Meriam, the staff that took my transaction the first time never bothered to call me, It was just there in their drawer! After a week of driving the car, my husband noticed that the change oil sticker is past due and I brought back the car. I was then told to bring the car to a nearby Firestone location where they have an account and was promised a "speedy" service by Meriam. That speedy service turned out to be 2.5 hrs I ended up canceling a business transaction. The same day I returned the car, my husband realized he forgot his daily maintenance medications which was placed in the glovebox and I hurriedly called back but was told that they did not find anything there. 3 weeks later, my husband received a call from another Enterprise branch that his medications was found. The manager in that branch cared enough to look at the medication bottles where our address, my husband's name and phone number was clearly printed. I would never go back to that Enterprise location. Do the staff there really care if they get to read this review? I don't think so. read more

This location needs a makeover starting with management!! They allowed my insurance company to reserve a vehicle but when I arrived to get the car, they had none available. I asked Laura or Laurie what ever the hell her name was, why would you allow someone to reserve something that does not exist . She said they actually have 24 hours to provide a vehicle after the reservation was made. She and the guy next to her went on to say, they have vehicles but only SUVs and mini vans, and all the other mid size cars were not available because GEICO had to come and do an inspection, but all vehicles would be available the next day by 10am. I called at noon the next day and still no vehicles but MAYBE someone would turn one in by 3pm. I asked well what happened to the GEICO inspection vehicles and he said GEICO canceled the inspection and none of those vehicles were mid size any ways. So I get off the phone and try to reserve a vehicle online at this location and sure enough they had mid size vehicles available for pickup at noon. If you want to use insurance claims to rent your vehicle they will not rent to you!!! They are liars avoid this location!! read more

I'm very sad to give this review. I trusted the manager Jim at his word. When I picked up the car we rented the car was clean and the checkout process was smooth. I had overheard someone asking if they could return anywhere in the DFW area for no charge and they said yes. So I asked the lady helping me if that was true and she said yes she also said if we wanted to return to the airport location it would be $75.When it came time for our return date I had my husband call just to make sure and they said no it wasn't true and there would be a charge and if we returned to the airport it would now be $300. I then called and talked to Jim-the general manager and explained our situation two little kids and a very late flight. He tried to persuade me to bring it back to his location, but then said given our situation just drop off at the airport with no additional charges in return he asked that when enterprise calls I give a stellar review. I said of course. I even called him later in the afternoon to say thank you again and just confirm how the checkout process would work. He told me he would call me the next day before charging my card. I have called multiple times for the last 5 days and each time I call I get a different answer as to why he can't talk to me and find out he has charged my card for more then I expected. I just got to talk Jim 10 minutes ago after being on hold for 20 min and hanging up and calling back and he states he will call me when they close today at noon. Rented on 4/11/16. Worst rental experience ever! Had to rent a car because I was rear ended. I took my car to the Service King and Enterprise was the onsite rental...loved the convenience. I rented the cheapest car I could get because there was a delay with the claim I filed through the other driver's insurance. I did not realize until I drove away that the car stank, and was filthy and the registration was due to expire at the end of the month. The windows were so dirty I had to clean them to see and the seats were stained. I had to get to work so I didn't have time to take it back. I called the office and all they said is sorry. That was the first phone call that was terrible customer service and not because of my complaint about the car but because the rep gave me wrong information regarding how the rental would work now that the insurance company had the claim established. I called again a day or two later and wish I remembered the name of the person I spoke with because he was very nice, helpful and knowledgable. I ended up having the car for just over 3 weeks, and a few days before the end of the month I called to find out what to do about the registration that was about to expire. Rep was rude, response was bring it in and we will switch the car. I would have had to take off work to be able to make it into their office to do that so I just chanced it for a few days. To top it off when I dropped the car off I spoke to an assistant manager about all of this. I got an apology and "since you are not paying for the rental there is nothing we can do, we don't want to reimburse the insurance company." I was calm and not really trying to get anything but that response bothered me. What does it matter who paid, I was the customer. If he felt strong enough to say well we would have credited you if you were paying then obvious he felt it was bad service and he could/should have done something for me! read more

I have rented from this Enterprise location several times before and always had a great experience, but the last time I rented from them I was not satisfied at all. I reserved a small car for a few days, I called first thing in the morning on the day I was suppose to pick the car up to confirm the reservation and I asked if somone could pick me up because I had no way to get there. I spoke to a friendly representative who took my name and phone number, he confirmed my reservation and advised me that somone will call me at 11:30am to let me know they are on their way and would be there around noon to pick me up on my lunch break. I never received a call, so I waited and no one showed up so I called around 12:10 to see if someone was on the way, when I called I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes so I hung up and called back. This time I wasn't able to speak to anyone, I was on hold for another 5 minutes! By this time my lunch break was over so I wasn't able to get picked up nor did I ever receive a call from anyone at Enterprise or did anyone show up to pick me up. Luckily I was able to find a ride to the location 5 hours later, when I told the representative at the counter what happened all he said was "I apologize for that." If the staff is that busy and/or they are short staffed then PLEASE tell someone when they call that they can't pick them up, don't let someone wait around expecting a call or to be picked up and not show up. I'm just so glad I was able to find another ride to the location or I would of had to take a cab or cancel a very important meeting I had later that afternoon. Communication is key! I was very disappointed in the way I was treated, I will not be going back to this location again. They are very unreliable and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. People are too busy these days to be dealing with this type of hassle. read more
