It was the largest vehicle they had at the time. After trying to wait for an hour for a bigger vehicle to become available, I asked if any would be available early Friday morning. Ms. Marilyn asked me to come back at 5:00 AM, luckily I get up at 4am most days so I was used to the ungodly hour. The next morning I arrived and was put into a beautiful Ford Expedition. Thanks to my patience and Ms. Marilyn we had an amazing trip and I'll be signing up to be a Hertz Gold Member so I can be ready for my next adventure. (The lack of the fifth star is because I did have to wake up and drive to the airport a 2nd time )

Then a ice storm hit Dallas and caused me to rent another week. Well they wouldn't let me use the discount and they stuck it to me. The second week was twice as much as the first. Then when it came time to return the car, they never released the holds on my accounts. They had the nerve to blame my bank account as if my bank is the one who put the charges there. SMH. To make it worse they did multiple charges on my account. I almost overdraft like four times. It's been weeks since I returned the car and it's still on there. And after calling and asking for a manager, they blocked my number. I should have just went to enterprise. First time ever going to Hertz, and after this terrible experience, I'll never use them again.

I was notified 10 minutes before pickup. once the car was available, I was told to comp for the late rental gas would be free. and then I was charged $115 for gas (an entire tank would have cost me $30 to fill up so I obviously did not return on empty or any reason other than i was told it would be covered). customer service said I had to wait over 24 hours before I could submit a claim. so I waited and then when I called back I was told they couldn't do anything since it had been greater than 24 hours. I contact corporate with no response. the local facility told me "it's corporates problem we can't help" they have to steal your money in order to stay in busy. no wonder they had to merge with budget. never again. just spend the extra $10 and rent from enterprise. $250 to have a car for 5 hours is insane.

Near the end of their shift, a large crowd of customers came in all at once, & they handled the situation with professionalism, efficiency, & a positive attitude. Despite the unexpected rush, Jonathan kept everything running smoothly & ensured that customers were taken care of. What stood out most was his thoughtful gesture of offering bottles of water to everyone waiting, which was greatly appreciated & showed excellent customer service. Landon, Samuel, & a couple of ladies also worked incredibly hard to keep up with the demand while remaining friendly & attentive. The teamwork, communication, & dedication displayed by all the employees turned what could have been a stressful situation into a positive experience for us. All ran smoothly until I returned that Saturday to return my rental & pick up my car from Service King. To be clear, I have no complaints about Enterprise. Cory processed my pick up and drop off and was great on both ends. However, the system in place between Enterprise and Service King needs to be more streamlined on the weekends. *See below for Service King's review* I dropped my vehicle off for repair on Wednesday, July 11th & was notified that it was ready for pickup Friday afternoon. I came that Saturday morning to pick up my vehicle and discovered that there was a discrepancy in the repair and no mechanic was available to address it at the time. At this point, I had already relinquished my rental car to the adjoining Enterprise car rental store (takeaway: wait until after). Apparently, on the weekends there is no one there to authorize Service King assuming responsibility for a rental when your vehicle repair is not up to par. When it was determined that I would have to leave my car for additional repair, I was presented with two options: Leave my car and incur the cost for another rental or take my car and bring it back for repair on Monday when the necessary personnel would be available to sign off on Service King providing the rental. Neither of those options were acceptable to me. At the very least, there should have been someone on call to provide the needed authorization. At no point should I, as the customer, be responsible for assuming cost when a repair discrepancy existed on their end. Cory & Brian of Enterprise, while very empathetic, were unable to provide any assistance because they needed the authorization form in question. Ultimately, a Repair Tech happened to arrive and was able to make the necessary adjustments while I waited. I would add that Carlos of Service King was very polite. There were simply very few options. When my car was assessed the second time, I was pleased with the results. It goes without saying that a policy change should be implemented. After all, what would have happened had the Repair Tech been unavailable? Overall, I'd probably use this location again for my car repair needs. It's close by and I have used them in the past with no issues. But, if the business is open, the services provided during the week should be available on the weekends, as well.

I told him i wad aware that it would go over the 450 allotted to us.. so lets do it for 1 week and if we needed it longer, I would be prepared to pay out of pocket if needed at that time. So he gave me my total. I askec again, how much would I have to pay up front? He told me. $440 and we set the appointment for 5:00. So we get there, only to be confronted with a totally different person and a totally different situation. Now the price has jumped to $860!! To make a looooonger story short... I was basically told by the manager that she can see where the young man made a mistake on misquoting us the price, but there was nothing that she could do and I could either pay the 860 or cancel the reservation. Now mind you, we are standing there with no car.. I was like ma'am, I have to plan for this I don't just have an extra 800 dollars sitting around smiling. If i would have known, I could've either planned for it or went a cheaper route. They told me, well ma'am you have a nice day because we can't help you. It's all about money, and they could care less if and when we got a ride home, they just wanted us to either pay the money they required or get out of their business! Instead of addressing the concern, he told me I could make a reservation somewhere else. There was no understanding, no empathy, and no indication that he cared about the inconvenience. What if no other cars were available in the area? His only alternative suggestion was to go to the airport--an option that is typically much more expensive. Sounds fishy to me, and I won't be able to get that backpack anywhere else as it was a limited edition I received from promotional work. I informed the front desk staff that I was being harassed by my ex-boyfriend, and despite clearly being in danger, no one took initiative to intervene, assist, or even call for help. Whether they felt it "wasn't their place" or not, I was a single Black woman surrounded by multiple male employees, and not one person stood up for me when I was physically assaulted right in front of them. After being attacked, stripped of my glasses, and having my belongings taken, destroyed, and thrown into a field behind the building, I was left with no vehicle or support. Instead of showing any level of compassion, concern, or basic human decency, I was told that I was "bad for business," flagged from renting at their location, and possibly other locations as well. Meanwhile, his employee stood by recording and laughing while I was on my hands and knees, crying and unable to see. This is not only unacceptable, it is negligent, discriminatory, and emotionally damaging. No customer, especially a woman in distress, should ever be treated this way. I waited for two hours, only to be told that they didn't perform the alignment and instead claimed my car needed new struts and additional costly repairs. After getting a second opinion, I was told that my vehicle does NOT need new struts. This experience felt dishonest and extremely misleading. It's incredibly frustrating to have your time wasted and to feel like you're being upsold on unnecessary repairs.
