Renting from a neighborhood location is a bit different. First of all, I have to say the employees at this location were swell. Apologetic for the delays and lack of options and tried to "make it right." So this review is not based on bad customer service, it is because this location feels set up for a lackluster experience. I made a reservation and arranged for billing a week in advance. I believe I am their typical customer, since everyone I know who has used this location is either getting their car repaired at the adjoining body shop or having their car serviced at one of Wilsonville's car dealerships. So when I walked in on a Tuesday morning at the appointed time for pick-up, I was surprised my car wasn't ready. When I say wasn't ready, I mean no cars were at the location. Period. It seems that they dispatch cars to this location based on reservations, rather than have a selection available for rental. So I wouldn't plan on being spontaneous. My car was finally ready about 30 minutes after the scheduled time and there were no choices. The car was pretty beat up, so when we did the walk around, the agent and I basically circled dents, dings and scratches on every surface. The seats were also dirty and the tank was empty. Boy, did I feel special. They told me I could try and exchange the car when they had more available, but when I called to do so, the timing never really worked out. My work schedule and their availability were never in sync.

Exceptional Service at Canyon Road Enterprise - Zac and Team Went Above and Beyond…read more After my car was broken into and my purse and wallet stolen, I was already dealing with the trauma of feeling violated while navigating the exhausting process of replacing everything - closing bank accounts, getting a new driver's license, and filing police reports. When my car went to the shop, I reserved a rental through my insurance at the Highway 99 Enterprise location. I called ahead to explain my situation and that I only had a temporary paper license from the DMV. I offered to bring my passport and any other documentation needed. The Oregon DMV confirmed over the phone that my temporary license and supporting documents were sufficient for verification. I even went into the local DMV office in person to see if there was anything else I could do, but they assured me that what I had was completely valid and should be accepted. However, the manager at Highway 99 flatly refused, insisting I needed a physical license with my photo - something the DMV said would require starting the entire process over and paying additional expedited fees since they use a third party for processing and couldn't refund what I'd already paid. Throughout this interaction, the manager showed zero compassion, speaking to me coldly as if my situation was just an inconvenience to him. Even when I asked if my husband could rent the car for me, he incorrectly stated I couldn't drive it without a physical license (which my insurance confirmed was false - Oregon law allows me to drive any car I'm insured for with my temporary license). I left feeling defeated and violated all over again. Thankfully, a relative who works for Enterprise suggested I try another location. When I called Canyon Road in Beaverton, it was like night and day. The manager and Zac (who's in the management training program) were immediately sympathetic and accommodating. They found a way to verify my identity without bending any rules and got me into a rental car. They even came to my house for pickup to ensure I was completely taken care of during this difficult time. The contrast between locations was striking - where Highway 99's manager was cold and dismissive, the Canyon Road team showed genuine care and understanding. Zac and the manager (I wish I could remember his name!) turned one of my worst weeks into a moment where I felt heard and helped. I cannot recommend the Canyon Road Enterprise location highly enough. If you need a rental car in the Beaverton area, this is the team you want - professional, compassionate, and genuinely committed to customer service. They have a giant security robot that roams the block ( completely useless) and one security guard at the drive through ramp. My husband went down the steps into the parking garage to get the car and my daughter and I stayed with all of the luggage. The lobby began to fill up so to be polite my daughter and I headed out front with our luggage to wait and make space for the new people. We were approached by a homeless man that was completely out of his mind loaded. He tried to grab either me, my daughter, or my luggage. As he approached I blocked my daughter and belongings. He kept grabbing at us. He kept telling me " come with me now. Come now! I'll take you places. Girl you come with me" I asked him to leave and he wouldn't. This exchange seemed to go on forever. My daughter was terrified. I glanced at the big security guy and pleaded for help with my eyes. Unfortunately he looked at me and went down the ramp. A man suddenly came around the corner to get into Enterprise for his car he was renting and swooped in to save the day. He started shouting at the man " this is my family! Leave! Get out of here now!" That man was a hero and waited with my daughter and I until my husband came with the car. Ladies: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES leave that lobby while you wait for your vehicle! That security guard will not help you..... he simply a decoration for the building!!!!!! That homeless man eyed us down until the second we turned the corner in our car. It was absolutely terrifying.
