    Absolutely disgusting. We reserved a Toyota rav-4 and were instead given a corola. The car was dirty and smelled like smoke. The checkout staff was extremely rude and disorganized. They harassed us over our USAA discount and did not want to honor the contract we had on the front end. We had paid for an intermediate car and were given an economy class vehicle, we had to fight for the rate to be decreased accordingly. They also were overly pushy about trying to sell extra coverage, we had to firmly decline it multiple times throughout the conversation. All in all I am very dissatisfied with this service and will not be doing business with this particular location ever again. It's just not worth the trouble

    I have been an Enterprise customer for over 25 years and hold Platinum status, which I originally…read moreearned while living in my hometown of Manhattan before relocating to North Carolina in 2022. I rent vehicles weekly and rely on Enterprise regularly. I rented for about six months at the Monroe location and have now been renting from the Indian Trail location for the past three years. While renting in Monroe, I experienced extremely rude behavior from the branch manager, which became serious enough that I escalated the issue by emailing Enterprise executive leadership. The resolution at the time was to transfer my account to the Indian Trail branch. The current branch manager at the Indian Trail location actually came from the Monroe branch and has been professional and has tried to work with me. We have built a good rapport and he has made efforts to help when situations arise, especially since I rent weekly at a high rate. However, there have still been several frustrating issues. Recently, I was hospitalized with extremely high blood pressure (254/128) and the branch manager was aware of my BP situation. During that time the branch manager emailed me on Monday 3/2 and Tuesday 3/3, but I was in the hospital and unable to respond. I later learned that the area manager, Cody, instructed the branch to attempt to pick up the vehicle, however i was in the hopsital and wasnt aware. I only learned about the pickup attempt when I went into the branch on Friday 3/6 to rewrite my contract. I have paid faithfully for the past four years and have rented consistently without breaks in my contracts. I am a reliable weekly renter and a long-term customer, which you would think is exactly the kind of customer a company would want to retain. Unfortunately, I have received more dirty vehicles than clean ones over time from both branches. I usually arrive after work and it is often dark outside, it can be difficult to see interior stains when I first receive the vehicle. I pay on average about $325 per week for these rentals. While I understand that my current situation requires me to rent weekly for now, paying that amount and receiving vehicles that are dirty, unreliable, or poorly maintained is not acceptable. Enterprise expects customers to pay for their rentals, which I have done faithfully for years. However, they are receiving my money while I am sometimes placed in vehicles that are dirty, not well maintained, or simply not reliable. On one occasion I was even in a situation where a vehicle issue almost led to an accident. When I arrived at the Indian Trail branch around 5:40 PM on Friday after work, there were already several customers ahead of me while I waited to rewrite my contract. I was placed in a vehicle that appeared acceptable in the dark, but the next morning I realized the car was extremely dirty with visible stains throughout the interior. I had to clean the vehicle myself on Saturday. Paying for this in full is unacceptable. I also went to another Enterprise branch on Saturday(today) to get assistance connecting Apple CarPlay. The staff at that branch immediately noticed how dirty the vehicle was and commented on it. They were very helpful and assisted me with the CarPlay setup, and one of the employees even suggested that I consider doing business with their branch and provided me with his card. Enterprise has always been a company I trusted, which is why I have remained a customer for so many years. Given my long history with Enterprise and my Platinum status, I would welcome someone from Enterprise corporate or regional leadership reviewing this situation and contacting me so it can be addressed appropriately. As a Platinum member and a customer of more than 25 years who rents weekly and spends thousands of dollars annually with Enterprise, I hope the company will review this situation carefully because I would prefer to remain a loyal customer if these concerns can be addressed.

Independence Blvd. in Charlotte. From the moment I walked in, Christian demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. He went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was seamless and stress-free. His generosity, patience, and willingness to listen truly stood out. Christian handled everything with such thoroughness and care, and his follow-up to confirm that everything was okay did not go unnoticed. In today's fast-paced world, it's rare to come across someone who not only takes pride in their work but also makes you feel like a valued customer. Christian is one of those rare individuals.     I first spoke with Andrew on the phone when I needed to pick up my rental late. I did not know…read moretheir hours, and he was informative and very polite. I ended up picking up the car the next day, and Christian assisted me with a smooth and speedy pickup, which I appreciated since I was in pain from a car accident. The next day I called back with questions I had forgotten to ask, and again Christian was knowledgeable, kind, and provided fast customer service without making me feel rushed. He is down to earth, professional, and very human. I even received the car for an extra day as a result. When I returned the car, Darius handled the inspection quickly and had it in the back for cleaning before I even left the lot. He clearly knows his job well, and though I was exhausted, he got me in and out while leaving me with a laugh and a smile. I have rented cars from this location before and have never had a bad experience, even when things are outside the staff's control. Thank you all, and I will probably see you again tomorrow.

    What I'd want to know - - - This location is in the mall…read more Don't let that deter you from picking up or dropping off here. It felt like it could be complicated finding parking and navigating traffic, but it really wasn't. The entrance to the office is by Sears and the rental office is just inside the mall entrance. It was a clean and courteous office staff. The visit - - - Dropping off my vehicle was a much better experience than picking up. But it wasn't completely smooth. Something had happened on the pick up end that made it complicated to check in. As a result, I'll have to watch my bank account and make sure I'm not overcharged. That's a bummer. Also, the car I drive was not cleaned out before I drove it. This is the first rental car company I've driven in a long time that didn't have a superbly nice car. Not the drop offs fault, but still some thing to note.

When my parents picked up the car, no one showed them around the car to go over its features or mark down existing dings and scratches so they do not become liable for something they didn't do. The car was driven off the lot with a quarter tank of gas (so that's what we will be returning it with!) At this point we were willing to deal with the problems we've already encountered because we were leaving for vacation less than 12 hours from receiving the rental car. When we loaded the car the next morning, everyone said the car smelled like smoke and it was extremely dirty. The windows were not washed, there was soda in the cup holders and in between the seats that was never cleaned from previous use, and the floor mats were not vacuumed. At this point, we had no option but to drive it to Destin, but we all cleaned it ourselves before leaving. As we were driving to Destin, my husband opened the glove box and it fell apart immediately. We were unable to put it back together without tools that's we of course didn't have. In addition, after about 5 hours in the car, we decided to turn on the windshield wiper fluid to get rid of some of the bugs from the window. Well, there was none! After about 6-7 hours in the car, an alert came up on the dash telling us that the vehicle had 2% oil life remaining. At this point, we were hoping we'd at least make it to Destin. We made it to Destin and about half way through the week, the oil percentage dropped to 0. We called Budget to tell them all the problems we encountered and they did absolutely nothing. My mother was on the phone with them for 3 hours on the last day of our vacation getting transferred from department to department because apparently what we were dealing with was no one's problem. At the end of the 3 hour phone call, they finally told us that after 2 PM we could call a specific number and someone would come swap out the vehicle for us with another Suburban. We call around 3:30 PM and the lady we spoke to tells us that we have to pay a 600 dollar towing fee for them to come swap out the vehicle for something that is their problem. Needless to say, we were not paying that and no other options besides doing our own oil change was given. So, a quart of oil will be put into the vehicle and we're hoping to make it back 10 hours to Charlotte, NC. NEVER rent a car from this company. EVER.
