My insurance company reserved a car for me to use while my car was in for repairs. I arrived at this Enterprise dealership and showed them my Ca. Real ID which I did not realize was not acceptable as a driver's license. Ok so I can accept that yes , my ID which was not a drivers license could not be used as a drivers license so I went to CADMV the next day , got my license and returned and was able to rent a car and was helped this time around by a polite , personable young woman, Destiny. Destiny was helpful and thorough in explaining all the particulars of the car and requirements for return, such as a full tank of gas ..etc. I mentioned this because the other sales staff were dismissive and lacking in any awareness of how to properly treat customers with courtesy and respect. He is cool, calm and collected, even when customers are coming at him in a way that feels impatient or disrespectful. I left town about 10 days ago shortly after a car accident. I was sent to enterprise to rent a car that the insured owner would take care of. Arriving back in town after 11 hour of travel between Durham and Oakland, I was totally exhausted! I decided to wait a day and get my car the next day while I rested at home. I have to thank the folks at enterprise for their kind and easy service. When I walked on to your lot I was captivated by the blue Camry which was at my price point. It was available! After we found my account and booked the car, I sat in it for a minute and realized where I was going. (I just arrived from across the country yesterday so I was tired!) Remembering that I was about to be on a ridge in Cazadero and there's a bit of rugged terrain on the back dirt roads I'd be traveling, I immediately realized I was in the wrong car. With so much grace we made switch to a Sportage that was also fortunately available. It was so easy. No weird looks, no complaining. Of course I paid an additional $10.00/day and still I've been to places where folks are so overwhelmed they get annoyed first. This team didn't! Well, about 1.5 hours into my trip I receive an emergency alert. Guerneville is flooding, particularly around Russian River. I am soon rerouted. Even though I was familiar with the back roads rolling through Occidental, I haven't driven it in 3 months, it was dark and raining hard I went through some lightly flooded areas, may 1/2-1-1/2 foot high. I couldn't see them before I was in it. I passed one stuck car going in the opposite direction. My hope is that someone in that long line of traffic's stopped, my side was clear. The car handled perfectly!! Once I got on the ranch the miles of uphill on the dirt roads was easy to manage. I'm grateful! I'm glad I took a moment to think ahead. I'm glad the folks made the shift so easy. Now I'm wondering if the Sportage should be my replacement vehicle, and in the long run I'll likely get another CRV. Happy 2026!! I had a pleasant experience. I rented a car through an insurance claim with Geico and covered up to $50/day. The reservation was made through the Geico App. in the claims portion. I arrived at the body shop and within 5 mins. a driver from Enterprise was there to pick me up. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome. There was only one other person ahead of me so the wait time was short. I was shown a couple of cars, but opted for a Corolla. The car was clean and the gas tank was full. Staff was courteous and friendly. I had the car for 6 days. When returning, it was a little busy, but not too long of a wait. The longest was waiting for a driver to drop me off at the body shop. I rented a car, Ford C-Max Energy 2015, in Honolulu and the daily rental fee was listed at $58/. After I returned the car with full tank in the evening before time.i was charged $58 again. This was supposed to be charging fee for the car with a 7.6 KW battery. These batteries cost between $1.9-2.75. I left a review about my experience and then I saw the same listing getting 4 five star reviews and all these reviews looked very suspicious because my was similar to a few reviews before and there was another one also few reviews before. This branch is a scam. They are so unethical and irresponsible for what they said and did. Even though the insurance company authorized to pay for the Damage Waiver, they still charged my credit card for it. Then they did not take any responsibility for fixing their mistake but easily told me to ask for reimbursement from the insurance. From the time I picked up my car with Deja explaining everything to me to when I dropped off on Sunday and had no ride home thinking they had shuttles but found a way when they realized I stranded and was going to have to walk home in the cold. Kenyon asked Obe to drive me home. Then there was another lady that needed a ride. So we both were accommodated. All before they had already offered to pay for an Uber of which I don't have the app. They tried to pay for a ride for me but I didn't have those options. What a messed up experience. I booked a Jetta or equivalent car. I received a confirmation car would be available. I was surprised when I got there the car was not available. The car availability was an economic so I reluctantly agreed but wanted the quoted price for economy not the same price. I go out and check car out but when it was time to pay the price was basically the same for the Jetta. I told her I did not want to pay that price. She canceled my reservation. So, I made another reservation at the price I wanted to pay and was told no. The attendant told me she wasn't going to do business with me for that price. Everything went very smoothly at the Oakland office. Very friendly and professional. I rent cars quite often. I interacted with three different staff members and all of them were helpful and friendly. Enterprise used to have a reputation for good customer service. Then for several years they were no better than anyone else. It seems like this team is trying really hard to do a good job and I really appreciated it. For example, the kept things moving when there was a waiting line; they let me go get gas (which I forgot to do) after I brought the car back; they had a very reasonable policy about reducing charges in case I brought the car back early and I didn't have to notify them. I rented through the Costco travel website, for what that's worth. I'll try going direct to this team next time although I don't know if the price would be higher that way. read more

This is a very busy location. There has been a lot of theft and rentals getting broken into. It's hard to get ahold of them on the phone and I understand why. Upon arrival I was greeted promptly and taken care of. It was early in the morning and BUSY. I asked for a specific grade of car due to my height and what my insurance pays for per day. They upgraded me to a mid size SUV since they didn't have what I had reserved. I was shown to my rental, given a run down of the car and signed. The associate was SO nice, professional, had a whole sanitary pack with him and offered me a Clorox wipe for the wheel. For a very busy place I received the best service. Really good folks work here. I unfortunately had my car stolen.. I stumbled into enterprise for a rental car just in the foulest mood. Despite my bad attitude I was treated with kindness and concern about my situation. All the employees from assistant manager, desk agents and the guy that cleans the cars came over and offered a kind word of encouragement or a little joke. This place is terrible. My car was in an accident so my insurance company made a reservation at this enterprise. I complete their online check in process and I'm informed the vehicle class I selected is within my daily rate and there's no additional fees. I go to pick up the car within my daily rate and the manager offers me other options. He then tells me I have to pay. He wasn't very friendly or helpful in this process. This location only had 7 cars on the lot, so you don't get to choose the car and they will penalize yo for it. Pay attention to the negative reviews. These guys are scam artists. They were recommended by the nearby Caliber Collision which is awesome. These guys on the other hand should be AVOIDED. I'd even rather go to a different Caliber place just to avoid them. $200 overcharge, they keep transferring you on the phone and won't respond, guy chats you up until you sign the contract and you don't get a written copy only whatever little he fills out online, car tank only 3/4 full at pickup, said I drove it 85 miles. I drove it less than 50 miles. On and on, and I've never had issues with rentals before. I hope they lose more than $200 and learn a lesson. Stop cheating people! You're not slick, just lame. I honestly wouldn't even want to give this location 1-star, but it's important to get this review out, so know they don't deserve that. They know they have a lot of folks coming in having just dealt with being in an accident or car loss, and they try and take advantage. I came in here and told by the person who assisted me (Derek DeVera) that I was declining the coverage. He then said all they have in stock at the moment are minivans. I told him that's fine. I was not informed there would be additional costs. So when we walk out to the vehicle and I get ready to sign the contract, I stopped when I saw that there would be an additional $11/day for the minivan upgrade. I informed the girl doing the assessment that I was never informed that i would incur an additional charge. She then goes inside and tells me that I have to go back inside and speak with Derek. I go inside and then he tells me about the added charge, which he never mentioned before. I asked how that is possible if they are out of vehicles that are in the size range that I am eligible for, and asked if their site could get vehicles from another enterprise location. He basically said it wasn't possible (read: he wasn't going to do it), so I took my business elsewhere. This is awful customer service and they don't even make a habit of trying to help the customer, especially after most have been under duress from being in an accident. My experience: I recently went to the Enterprise Broadway location to rent a luxury SUV over for the weekend. The location is easy to find, and one of the smaller Enterprise locations I have been to. I prefer to rent cars from Enterprise when I frequently travel (as I am also an Enterprise Plus Member), so I was familiar with the process prior to arriving. Upon arriving, one of the assistant managers, Carson, assisted me with renting the car from start to finish. Carson maintained professionalism while ensuring to disclose all the details related to the car and specific instructions on how and where to return the car. Furthermore, Carson explained the specifics of the contract and asked important questions such as whether I preferred to add insurance. In addition, I was also extremely pleased with how quickly Carson was able to get me in a car - from arriving to Enterprise to having the keys in hand and leaving the lot it. Carson was extremely efficient and was noticeably knowledgeable when asked any questions regarding the rental. Additionally, Carson was friendly and left one of the best impressions I have ever experienced while renting from Enterprise. Overall, you can tell that Carson is passionate about the work she does and is genuinely interested in putting the customers' experience first. Because of my experience, I will continue to do business with Enterprise. Car: The rental I was assigned was an Audi Q5. I was extremely pleased with how clean the car was, especially during the pandemic. The car ran very smoothly throughout the entire rental period. There were not any major engine or problematic lights that came on. The Audi was rather new with extremely low mileage, and noticeably little use. You could tell from the rental that Enterprise maintains their cars and cares about of their rentals. Overall: Overall, no matter what size or type of car I have rented from Enterprise in the past, Enterprise is consistent with the quality of their vehicles and service.
