    I booked a Full size 15 seater van through Expedia for pick-up today at 10 am at this location. When we arrived at this location the van was not available. The person helping us was trying to call his manager and according to him, she was not answering his calls. They are blaming Expedia since they said it's a third party company. They said I should have booked at enterprise.com. We asked why we were not called ahead of time that the van was not available, they said they did not have our phone number. Our booking has our Name, address and phone number. It's a requirement when you book. They did not do their due diligence of checking their reservations ahead of time is what it is. We asked if they can find the van we needed from other Enterprise locations and we're willing to pick up anywhere between here and Pasadena wherever it's available. He gives us a phone number to the Enterprise in Fontana, basically telling us to look for a van ourselves. He keeps going to the backroom leaving me and my husband by ourselves, without any updates or anything. It didn't seem like they were trying to find a van for us. My husband needed the van and needed to be in LA by 12 noon. Needless to say, he is late for his time. So my husband just decided that they will need to bring 2 SUV's instead for their trip hoping it will fit all their equipments/instruments they have to bring for their show. When we left, without a van they kept saying sorry but they weren't sorry because they kept blaming Expedia for the booking problem. When I got home, I went to Enterprise.com and tried to book the same Van for today and it allowed me to book the same Van from the same location. So even if we booked through them instead of Expedia we would have the same problem.

    Just know this is what it looks like trying to get a hold of a person at this branch.

Windows had fingerprints, inside was dirty with crumbs and fingerprints, outside had dirt spots, dirty windshield, bugs on front. I asked why I was being given a dirty car and they said they didn't have time to wash it and were short staffed. Due to time restraints and I needed a vehicle I took this car. Luckily was staying with my in-laws and were able to wash it in their driveway before using. Honestly this was completely unprofessional in the way they handled this and I have never been treated like this at any rental place. Then I somehow misplaced my keys and believed them to be in the car but I had returned the rental earlier that day. I called the location only to be put on hold and told they didn't have time to look for my keys. I explained I was headed to the airport and home to Texas and needed my car and house keys and asked if they could kindly look. They hung up on me, put me on hold and then put the phone on the counter to keep it off the hook. I held for 15 mins and they hung up. I called again and said I would be calling until they helped me. They replied we dent have your keys. I know they didn't even go look. It was the most frustrating experience to be treated like this. I literally called them 13 times according to my call log that day. Due to this terrible experience I would take a long pause before ever renting from a Budget again. These people are not representing your brand well at all

    Normally, I always go with Enterprise Rent A Car, but with my trip out of Ontario airport, it was…read morenot a good experience. When we arrived in Ontario, the online check in was great. We were able to skip the line and get right into our vehicle which was a Waggoner. However, within 2 miles of driving the Waggoner off the lot, we began to experience problems. As we drove down the highway and made full stops at red lights, the car would idle and completely turn off. It was very scary and we were almost rear ended twice. We knew that we could not drive up the mountain to Big Bear in this vehicle, so we decided to pull over into a parking lot and call Enterprise. This was when customer service became very poor. To explain, I called their hotline, and the woman who answered said she would have the Ontario Enterprise call us from their store right away. This NEVER happened. Since we did not feel safe driving the vehicle, I called another number provided on the Enterprise website that was supposedly linked directly to the Enterprise Ontario website. Once I connected with someone the woman on the line directed a tow truck to come jump the car. I informed her that what we really needed was the tow truck to tow the vehicle back to Ontario Airport and that we would need another vehicle. This person on the phone was not understanding this. She kept saying that the jump was on the way. I asked her how were we supposed to get back to Ontario airport and she could not explain. After being put on hold, I decided that we would drive the car back ourselves and risk being rear ended and potentially getting in an accident. The woman on the phone said okay. As we drove back, luckily we made it back to Enterprise unscathed, however, the car did shut off again 2 more times, and I put on the hazard lights for other cars to avoid us. Once we got back to Ontario, the Ontario staff was very helpful. When I asked them about the customer service hotline, they said that they do not even have a phone that is linked to their site. Furthermore, we were charged for a tow truck service, but I explained to the on site staff that we refused this service. Luckily, this was taken off our bill. This whole ordeal costs us an additional 2 hours of time when we were trying to get up the mountain to Big Bear. It was extremely frustrating. As you travel, no one wants to be stuck on the side of the road, and Enterprise is not helpful with their communication system. Our reservation was 71822394. I would appreciate to be contacted by Enterprise about this experience. *Please see comment below from Enterprise. I didn't even know this location existed, but the dealership shuttled us here to hook us up with a vehicle. They called me on the way to confirm and verify some information. Upon arrival, I was greeted and helped immediately. A $100 refundable deposit was required of me for incidentals, plus a $2.03/day vehicle license and recovery fee. Once the paperwork had all been handled, I sat down to wait for a vehicle as there were a couple people ahead of me. I didn't know it at the time, but since the dealership was footing the bill, I had to stay in the same overall make of the dealership, so when they walked me out to a Chrysler Pacifica van, I wasn't exactly excited, lol! No offense, but I'm an SUV girl and I like sitting up higher off the ground LOL! I was however, VERY thankful to have a vehicle, so we made do for the 3 days I had the rental. When I received word my car was ready for pickup at the dealership, I was delighted to find out I could return the rental to the dealership and they'd take care of the rest. I did call Enterprise to make sure they were okay with that, and they confirmed it wasn't a problem at all. Thank you, Enterprise!

We gave the agent the address of the repair shop we were at, and told him we needed somebody to come to us. He said that somebody would be there at 4:00, but due to a language barrier, could not ascertain whether they would be picking us up or bringing a car. At 4:15, we called again to find out where the driver was. We encountered a much worse language barrier, but managed to understand that the agent would look into our reservation and call us back. At 4:30, we made a third call. This agent spoke good English. She verified our reservation, apologized for the inconvenience, and said that the driver was running late and would pick us up next. Then she changed her mind. They don't pick up people outside of a five mile radius. (The shop was 5.2 miles from their business. I checked.) She apologized for the inconvenience, and said that the first agent should have checked before booking the reservation. We were trying to figure out how that error was our problem, and questioned her about it. She put us on hold to "check into it." Then she came back, apologized again for the inconvenience, and repeated that we were outside of their pickup area. They made a reservation (they were sending us texts about it), but refused to honor it. The conversation deteriorated into a back and forth of, "What are we supposed to do?" on our end, with, "I understand, I'm sorry for the inconvenience," on her end. Then the story changed yet again. The driver was going home at 5:30, so it was too late for him to come get us. She suggested that we drive to her. Well, if we had a car, we would not need to drive to her, would we? We finally hung up on her and tried desperately to find another car rental, but it was almost 5:00, so we were too late. The moral of the story? This Enterprise dealer threw us under the bus and stranded us - and a sidewalk covered with our belongings - in a car repair shop after committing to picking us up.

My husband immediately went to the Alamo Ontario location the next day, around 8:00 a.m., and the staff told him the wallet was not there. I then filed a lost item claim online around 8:15 a.m. Strangely, at 3:30 p.m., we suddenly received a call saying the wallet had been "found." This entire experience felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. Trying to contact the Ontario office was nearly impossible, and there is no direct corporate number to properly escalate concerns. The lack of accountability is unacceptable. Now I have to take time off work and return in person just to file a complaint. Horrible customer service from start to finish. I will NEVER rent from this location again, and I strongly suggest others avoid it as well. Alamo needs to hire employees with integrity and create a system where customers can actually hold locations accountable when issues happen. I am extremely disappointed. I will not return to this location!
