I made a reservation online to pick up an Enterprise rental on 5/2/26 @1030 am ,after I dropped my car at the dealership. I was running behind so I contacted the rental place to inform them I would be late to picking up the car. The associate informed me that they didn't have any cars, available for my reservation .I then asked were you going to contact me since it was past 10:45am . She said yes , I'm thinking to myself oh when I get to your place you would let me know then. She acted as she could care less , she showed no remorse of the predicament she had put me in this put me in. Not even a Sorry. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience here. I arrived to pick up a rental car that I had already paid for in full. Everything seemed fine at first--they even handed me the keys. Then suddenly, the employee said "oops" and asked me to wait. After about five minutes, they came back and told me there was an issue with the car. I don't understand why this wasn't checked before taking my money and confirming my reservation. Because of this, I ended up without a car, even though I had already paid. To make things worse, I was still charged $500, which I now have to wait 24 hours to get refunded. Since I still needed a vehicle, I had to go to another rental company and pay another $500 out of pocket. Overall, very unprofessional. Enterprise in Plymouth sent me here because they didn't have a car available but Redford said they had some. Plymouth got me an Uber and dropped me off at Redford. Redford told me I had to return the car to Redford while Plymouth told me I could drop it off in Plymouth. (Closer to my house.) Redford told me they would charge me $500 if I did that. Then Redford told me they didn't have any cars available and they couldn't drive me back because it was out of their range. I was stranded. I called the Plymouth location back and they offered to come get me thank God! The workers in Redford never left their seats or offered to help. Stay away from this location! read more

I've rented from Enterprise before, but this experience deserves zero stars. Over the weekend, we extended our rental through the official Enterprise app -- before the return date. The app clearly showed the total as $364, and the payment was processed instantly. We had confirmation right there on the screen. Come Monday morning, we get a call from the local branch claiming "the online total was incorrect" and that we now owed an extra $170. Mind you, the money had already been taken out, the extension was confirmed, and there was never any notice or consent to this new charge. That's not a "correction." That's changing the deal after the customer pays, which feels like highway robbery. If the price in your own app isn't accurate, then how can customers trust anything? We have transaction history proving what was agreed to, and I'll be reaching out to Enterprise Corporate and my bank to dispute this unauthorized charge. This entire situation feels shady and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor -- screenshot every step, record every confirmation, and don't assume Enterprise will honor what their system shows you. This is not how a reputable rental company should treat paying customers. read more

I have made reservation for midsize pick up truck, when I got there they told me they don't have that vehicle, however they offer me Toyota for additional $50 a day, what a ripoff, called the customer service but absolutely no help what so ever. read more

Today was the worst experience I have ever had at a rent a car place. After waiting for my car to be cleaned for an hour. I received the car and it was filthy and smelled like smoke. Cup holders were dirty, back of seats were dirty, unvacummed trash still on the floor and the outside of the car was filthy with visible dirt. After complaining about the condition I was told it would be cleaned again. The car went back and was out in 15 minutes dripping wet. I went back to examine the car and it was still dirty with many of the dirt still there. I am attaching photos to my review of the second time it was supposedly cleaned and was not. I asked that my reservation be canceled and I went to another enterprise. If my insurance did not make me use enterprise for my claim. I would never return after this experience. The manager didn't have an apology or even come see what I was complaining about. read more

This branch had very slow service when I arrived on a Friday to pick up a rental (and return one). There was only one person working at the desk, which made no sense on a weekend. I went because they are one of few locations to offer the $9.99/day rental special. A positive to this location is that they did confirm my renting a car the day before. However, sadly they had no rental car for me when I arrived. I booked at least 4 days in advance and they called to confirm. I was only lucky enough to be returning a rental from the Southfield location. They called and talked the other location into honoring the special price (Southfield doesn't participate) and I had a rental for the weekend. Cons: Slow service. Confirming rentals with no cars available. I would only go back if I needed the inexpensive weekend rental. The only catch is that you are limited to 150 miles/day. read more

The new manager Ciera who works over there will go over and beyond to resolve and service your needs. How I know is when past management did a few oversights on my reservations and over charged she took the time to stay and hour after closing business hours and printed out all my rentals at the location and discovered the issue and made the adjustments on my rental. She followed up and looked into my concerns. There are still a few things that have to be looked into but she's on top of it and she's went over and beyond to try to get me a loyal customer. read more

Great customer service :-) I had to rent a vehicle from them when my car was down. The process of transport to and from the dealership was seamless thanks to the efficiency of the staff. They are very friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to be nice by, for example, opening doors and offering to help carry items. I was in/out in record time. Staff was extremely friendly, but my vehicle was sub-par. First of all, a Jeep Compass is not an upgrade from a full size car. It also did not have an active satellite radio subscription. If you've ever driven one, you will quickly understand why Chrysler is about about to stop making them. Unless you just arrived in the U.S from a third world country, these vehicles simply do not meet anyone's definition of a good quality car. It also smelled like smoke and had a burn hole in the drivers seat. I pointed theses things out to the associate when we were doing the pre rental inspection, but he didn't think to offer me another vehicle. The best they could do was offer me a free upgrade on my NEXT rental. Great, maybe I'll reserve another full size car next time and get "upgraded" to a Jeep Compass. read more

As a customer to Enterprise on a fairly regular basis I have to say the folks over at the Redford branch were the best I've ever dealt with. They were very accommodating and very friendly. They are the local store with extended hours in the evening and on weekends, which came in handy when my travel plans changed and I needed to pick up on a Sunday. Staff was friendly except the manager. They are slow and disorganized. An employee failed to his job and now I am disputing a claim for it. Depending on whom you speak to, you get a different answer for the same exact question. Not sure what happened with this branch. A year ago the customer service was excellent. Now I'll never rent from them again. Cars are poorly maintained, trash and other peoples rental paper work is left inside of vehicles. The Branch Manager of this location Montez, gets very upset if you question or have a complaint, will go so far as to say he doesn't know who he reports to and will give you incorrect phone numbers to complain. read more

Horrible place to rent a car. I got overcharged and when they recognized there error they told me that they couldnt fix it and to go through my credit card company. There were other errors they tried to overcharge me for as well and took 30 minutes to get straightened out. I think training is needed here and they need to know not to try and charge for extras that were not agreed too. I will forward a complaint with better business bureau. read more

I had a good experience at this Enterprise. The staff was courteous and pleasant, not terribly pushy when it came time to up-sell me. We got in and out in record time. The only bug-a-boo I had was that the lot was a bit tight, but that's nothing they can control. All in all good experience. read more

Service was very good at this facility. They picked me up from the collision shop and it took only a few moments at the service counter before I was on the road. The car they gave me was in great condition and once my vehicle was ready, it didn't take the representatives long to get me processed and on my way to the collision center to pick up my vehicle. The customer service here has come a long way since the last time I visited. My only complaint is that I didn't get the car I reserved but it wasn't the location fault I spoke with someone in the call center that lead me to believe they were actually at the Redford location. I booked a fullsize car and the person on the phone told me she had a Malibu there and ready to go. I made the reservation just minutes before pulling up to the location. Once I arrived I saw no Malibu I went inside and was greeted by happy faces. I was assisted by the female manager there. She apologized about not having the Malibu and informed me that she hadn't had one at her location all day and she called over 4 locations attempting to get a fullsize car no location could help her. She apologized again I could see she was disappointed because I was told something by someone who wasn't there and I expected to get what I reserved. She was doing all she could but getting no where. She then offered an SUV but I didn't want to pay for the gas so she offered a smaller car at a cheaper rate and a percentage off and I accepted. I felt like she went above and beyond to try to make me happy even though I didn't get what I reserved or expected. I think the company really needs to train those in their call centers not to act as if they work in the location they are making the reservation for because they are not giving accurate information and that's terrible customer service. That is the only reason they get a 4 and not a 5. They also called me to switch into a larger car once they had one but I decided to stay in the car she gave me. read more
