Reno is a wild place. Our rep Zubi took us to our truck he was attentive and friendly. I guess I'm a bit upset that for $392 +$157 add on this is the quality of a premium vehicle? Was it the slim pickens you will get for an afternoon pickup? Probably. Comments: (1) Lisc 31589D3 - Premium Needs an oil change Bad! We drove it over 400 miles and it didn't seem like Zubi was going to offer a better vehicle. (2)Make sure you do a walk through and flag everything. They will send you an email notating all the dings scratches scrapes dirt before you take it. DO NOT take it otherwise. (3) the tires were good. (4) I suggest coming early for better options I rented from alamo previously in seattle and those guys were what's up. I'm shooting myself in the foot for not going with them again, but it was a bigger price difference for 4 days. Good luck! read more

I rent a car from Enterprise monthly due to my travels, and I will say Reno International Airport is the worst location I've ever been to. First, I stood waiting outside for 20+ minutes for someone to take me to my car. Horrible!! Just Horrible and mind you, I travel monthly for work, and all the locations I've been to have been awesome. Workers were standing around and took them a while after their huddle to address all the people standing and waiting. Reno Team - First, learn customer service, especially for loyal customers. I never thought I'd review a car rental agency. I mean it's always the same thing- check in, get your keys, get your car- next! Well not this time! We got the BEST customer service and care from Shalynn (I believe that's his name), who went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed of the vehicle we would be driving, and the area in general. We just recently switched renting from a different company to Enterprise and Shalynn's customer care ensured us we made the right move! We were kind of nervous of what the drive to Tahoe from Reno would be, you know is too winding, snowy, etc. He informed us that the car we chose had all weather tires, was AWD and took the time to share with us the weather forecast that was expected. He told us that the drive he normally takes has beautiful scenery and then gives the best advice- just take your time and enjoy the views, you should be fine. We did take our time, enjoyed the views and we were fine. Thank you Shalynn for taking the time to ensure we were at ease and thank you RNO Enterprise for having him on your team! Long slow lines (I think my flight here was shorter). Lack of signage adds to the confusion of which line to stand in. Check in process is too long. Agents are nice but you can clearly tell that they are frustrated as well with the process. Strongly doubt I will use again despite what appeared to be a clear savings at the time I reserved the rental. I regret not using enterprise because enterprise has always provided the best customer service and smoothest process. I made the mistake of booking with Hertz because their rate was slightly lower. Put in an incident report on this and after six months of not hearing back once from the regional manager, Ryan Sniezyk, simply gave up. Was continually told we'd get a call back, all lies. Another manager named Liz apparently lied in the report and said she spoke with us to resolve the issue. This is how far Enterprise staff quality has gone down. We've since completely stopped using Enterprise as a business. Taylor family, you have "managers" such as Kyle Yamada and Ryan Sniezyk treating customers this way, you need to clean house or put your business at risk with staff such as this. read more

Do not rent from this Enterprise Rent- A Car Reno-Tahoe International Airport location. They are total scammers from start to finish. They do not stand by their original reservation estimates that were put in writing and book you with one of their "sister" companies without telling you until it is too late. They claim they don't have the car class in stock that you originally booked, then lie and say it will be the same price until they stick it to you when you return the car. They are beyond unprofessional and managers never returned calls after many attempts at calling them and they ended up overcharging us by over $1000 bucks! They have you completely over a barrel since they have your credit card number. They take advantage of nice unsuspecting seniors. Enterprise has gone completely downhill and now I see why my large organization no longer contracts with them as they did for decades. Steer clear of Enterprise and their "sister companies" which have now merged into one giant illegal grifting company. Enterprise is now the parent company of National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands as well. This location is the worst but calls to Enterprise outside of this location for help with the billing rip-off also attempted to scam us for even more money. Had a car reservation made with enterprise well in advance for a special trip I had planned. Show up at 8:30pm to pick up the car at this location only to be told that they've rented out all the cars and could no longer keep their side of my reservation agreement. They wanted me to come back the next day to see if they could then get me a car. Mind you it's an hour each way for where I was going. Totally unacceptable that you don't honor car reservations.. how is anyone supposed to make plans when you rent out the cars on their reservation?! FREAKING DISGRACE OF A PLACE. I think her name was 'Destiny' I called in 3 times to make sure they had a mid-sized truck. They screwed up the original reservation and said I could modify at the counter from full-size truck to mid-sized. They didn't have the mid on the day I needed it. They had a full, but wouldn't work with me on price. I won't ever rent from Enterprise and I'll be sure to tell people about their poor customer service. read more

Do not make same day reservations. I had to fly into Reno book my car though southwest app after booking my flight. I land in Reno go to get my rental car and they tell me they don't take same-day reservations. It has to be 24 hours even though I got a confirmation number and it said I have a to my reservations. I recently traveled to the Reno area and rented from Enterprise based on positive experiences with earlier rentals. On the day I was returning my car I was topping off the tank prior to returning the car and after leaving the gas station tried the wipers because there was salt on the windshield due to road brining taking place and there was no washer fluid. When I pointed this out to the agent at the airport (Sue) she immediately refunded me $25 on my bill for the inconvenience. Great customer service!! read more

Tried contacting someone at enterprise was never reached out by anyone at enterprise to resolve this issue. Tried calling the manager numerous time also tried talking to corporate. 3x this year I have reserved a car in Reno and every time I end up waiting 30-45 min to get my vehicle despite a specific reservation time. There is consistently 20-30 ppl waiting in the garage this amount of time. It is a poorest run operation I have ever encountered. read more

Checked in at the counter in the airport. Agent found my reservation and directed me out to the garage. Once there, my reservation could not be located. After 5 minutes, she found it. I'm now waiting for over an hour and still haven't received my car. Apparently they are short staffed. read more

Horrible experience with this company. I had left my airpods in the vehicle, they were able to be located by one of the ladies working there when I called on 6/26. She mentioned that she was going to mark them as found and mail them back to me once I pay for shipping. I NEVER received a confirmation email with the option to pay and mail them. My fiance and I have called back several times asked where the email is, and NO ONE seems to be of any help at all. I can understand if they were unable to be located, that's one thing, but the fact that I claimed them, the associate confirmed, and then we heard nothing back since is extremely frustrating. Where is the professionalism? I can now see that my airpods are in California, so someone must have taken them. It would be nice if the company could do something about this issue. Due to an accident, we needed a to get a rental car. The young lady was able to locate a 4wd f-50 and give us an outstanding out-of-pocket price, not covered by the insurance. The vehicle was a 2018, with about 17k miles on it. Other than a water bottle left behind, under the back seats, the truck was clean. However, the windshield wipers did not work so well, and should be replaced... We had the truck for about 3 weeks, but when we wanted to return the vehicle, the location was closed and would be closed the next day. I called Enterprise, and they explained that I could return the truck at any other location. I decided to return the vehicle at the Airport location. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience. I tried looking through my emails hoping to find a survey, and couldn't, so here I am. I scheduled the rental car for the wrong day... I was staying in Tahoe which isn't exactly easy to get there and back with no car. Brandon (I think was his name?!) totally helped me out and quite possibly saved our vacation. Alright, so first off, I must absolutely recommend taking out supplement insurance do not repeat my mistake of not doing so only to take an insanely bad route to the place you are headed. None of that is Enterprise's fault. What I *MUST* commend the airport Enterprise staff on is going out of their way to help me *AFTER* making that mistake. I was in Reno for a job interview an hour and a half away, stressed out of my mind after the incident, and they helped get me in a new vehicle after having been unlucky enough for Google maps to lead me down a very bad route. The staff on deck were so exceptionally helpful in getting me up and going again while understanding of me being not in the best of mental state and letting me take time to produce necessary info. Horrible experience. I reserved the car with my Apple Card master card. No where is the reservation process did it say a physical card was needed to check out. I land go to the counter and told I can not rent. Asked for a manager to see why they can't just enter in the credit card info from my phone and he told me the one person they had who knew how todo that was out sick so I was out of luck. I missed a very important meeting because of this office. I recommend getting a rental from any other rental location at this airport. Absolutely assured for this to happen in 2024. Rented a truck from this Enterprise for a Lake Tahoe trip. All around a great experience. Super fast convenience check-in process (we were out of the airport within 15 minutes of collecting our bags). When we returned the truck, Alfredo assisted us with the return process. Beyond disappointed in this branch and the customer service infrastructure of the entire company. We rented a mid-size SUV for 9 days to take from Reno to So. Lake Tahoe, only to have the front left tire blow out and the back right tire to go flat overnight 3 days later. When triple A came to put the donut on for the blown out tire, the repairman pointed out a a patch on the tire too close to the edge, which he and multiple others have confirmed is extremely dangerous. The blow out resulted in ~1 in. tear. We then attempted to drive the car on the donut to the local enterprise branch where they said they couldn't replace the car but we could go get the tire replaced FOR THEM at the local tire place Les Schwab. We proceeded to spend 4 hours the next day waiting for the tire to be repaired after we had already spent 1+ hour with customer service and ~.5 hours at the local branch. Note also that if a tire blows out while driving, this actually could've killed or injured someone severely (thankfully didn't). A few days later our valet pulled our car around to the front of the hotel only to discover that the back right tire was flat. There was no evidence of a nail, screw, etc that us or the valet could see. Disappointed as we were, we proceeded to have enterprise just tow the car as we couldn't waste more of our vacation dealing with their ineptitude and doing their repairs for them. The calls with customer service, roadside assistance, and the tow man took over 1.5 hours. The next day we had to taxi to the Reno airport which cost $237. The "branch manager" at the airport enterprise said that he'd have to review the vehicle for damage, call us on Monday (w days later) to let us know the final charge and admitted that we'd be charged IN-FULL for this unusable and dangerous vehicle. He also would not commit to refunding us for our taxi. When I demanded to speak to a superior, he said there was no one to talk to. When I asked for a direct phone number to corporate, he wrote down the blanket customer service line I had already spent hours on a sticky note. The roadblocks this company has around customer service are purposeful and scummy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING ENTERPRISE ALTOGETHER. Would not choose enterprise at this location. Long wait to get a car as no cars were available. Nice vehicle however it had a tire pressure problem- had to spend money to get this fixed. The worst part is on return they put it as 8am Monday return and charged me more than the original rental. We returned at 5am Sunday which was earlier than the 4pm initial drop off time. I modified this in the link sent to me and I confirmed I would be charged less but they actually charged me more. Enterprise only charges for the time you use. It would have cost less. I had to call to get this resolved. I have always been happy with Enterprise at other locations. The managers at pick up told us why we were waiting but failed to care about it or give us anything to help while we waited. Poor service overall. read more

This was the most pleasant Enterprise experience amongst the 3 enterprise locations I went to in the last 5 days. The gentleman guiding us as soon as we entered the parking structure of the airport was a great start to their customer service. He quickly assisted us with our situation because we needed to switch out our car from So-Cal. (Long story short: we asked for a mid size SUV to begin with but ended up with an Audi that had maintenance concerns). Anyway, they quickly assisted us & got us a Nissan, mid size 15K SUV. Not bad. I understand that when I rent an economy vehicle, I may receive a different vehicle class. I generally prefer to rent smaller cars because of fuel efficiency. I rented an intermediate due to the price. I got a Mitsubishi Outlander (Subcompact SUV). So I knew I was going to have to spend more on gas than I wanted to, given the amount of driving I was doing on this trip. Other than the delays in picking up the car and returning it, there weren't any issues... Until 2 days later, Enterprise sends me a letter from their Damage Recovery Unit. The letter thanks me for my recent rental and then explains that they have received notification of damage or loss to the vehicle. No further details were stated in the letter. Then it provided a form to submit to them with my insurance information. So, I am confused. When I returned the call, it was inspected and I was given a receipt. I saw no damage to the vehicle and no damage was pointed out to me by the employee. I called the division on the letter. They are closed. Of course they are closed when I have time to actually make a call. I called the location. I received the typical hold messages and then was disconnected. Three times. Nope, can't rustle up a human being. So I call the customer service. Oscar was as helpful as he could be, but unfortunately, he couldn't find any supporting documents or tell me what damage I am accused of perpetrating on this unsuspecting vehicle. He tries to call the location as well. He can't get any additional information. He returns to the phone very flustered. At this point, I am over it. Enterprise has lost a committed customer. I have been a customer for 15 years. I won't rent from Enterprise, National or Alamo moving forward. This is not customer service. If they are going to accuse me of something, a random letter without details should not be sent. I want the information. I also expect that they should have the documentation in their system. Honestly, if they want to hold me accountable to damage to a vehicle after I have returned it and had the vehicle inspected, that is tantamount to fraud. Do not rent from them or their affiliates. Worst service it's a 110 degrees they had us check in at the kiosk inside then directed us to the parking lot where David the manager told myself and my work colleague to stand over to the side for 15 to 30 min in 110 degree weather. I had a reservation at Dollar rental for a vehical, but because they are dishonest and do not disclose their prices and want to run hard credit checks, I was out of luck. On a last ditch effort I walked over to Enterprise. I explained what they had done and he assured me they could get me a car. We talked everything over and in the end he was able to get me a car. The price was super super high but they did it without a hold on my card or anything. I got my car, used it for the 4 days I needed it, and returned it. The whole process was super easy. In the end it ended up being half the price I was quoted, $451 for 4 days on a very last second reservation. All in all they where able to save my vacation at Lake Tahoe. read more

Holy crap! This company absolutely sucks. First, I wanted to extend my rental beyond a month....forget it. You call the customer service number provided, and you reach somebody at their house who cannot speak English. 4 X I called Enterprise customer service, and 4 times I spoke to someone who could barely speak English, and who could not help me, could not give me the direct number to enterprise Reno/Nevada to extend my rental, and was told Reno did not have a phone number. 2K a month is what my company pays for this rental, I'm done. Left my sunglasses in the center console of a truck. Submitted a "Lost & Found" claim but says unable to find my lost item even though I can see on there website that a sunglasses was found on the day I returned my truck. Called and left several messages at the Reno Airport location but no return calls. Call customer service & support which opened a ticket to have the Reno Airport location give me a call and still nothing. Absolute worst service. Sunglasses is there, I can see it but getting a hold of someone from that location is impossible. read more
