Amazing customer service and employees at this spot. Came to rent a 15 passenger van this morning at 8. No problems and out the door in 15mins. Drove it to Norco, back passenger door was making ungodly noises that had this mama concerned for the safety of her kids in the back, so I called over and the female rep (only person I did not catch the name of the-sorry!) was super nice and efficient, told me to bring it back no problem. I get back and she has me on the list for an exchange, no questions asked by any of the staff, just a simple "we want you to feel comfortable and safe in our cars". Love this. While I was waiting for the exchanged van I was able to witness an exchange between Lawerence and an older lady over a pair of missing shoes she had left in a rental some time ago. Lawerence was so nice and patient with the lady (mind you I'm just listening to the whole exchange and wanting to bang my head against a wall). The lady wasn't mean or anything, but she just repetitive, not comprehending what was being said, etc etc during what was approximately a 15 minute exchange.... So my Ford was exchanged for a Mercedes-Benz van... It looked so nice and I felt it was for sure an upgrade *but* I actually turned it down due to it being a diesel and with fuel prices being what they are/the duration and distance I would be driving it. Again staff member Chris, being so patient and so nice, did not make any problem finding me another Ford passenger transit van even though they had to clean/process one that was not quite ready. It was just a weird trip period. I rented the car and the service was great! This was an important trip so, awesome way to begin, right?! I'm going to the Bay Area. So about a half hour into the trip and the screen thingy with the radio and Bluetooth goes completely blank. Blank. So I pull over and call Enterprise to tell them. The car is running fine but there's no screen at all. I use my phone GPS so it's fine. Then there's the silence. It was weird. The screen would kick on and off here and there but it was around a total of 10 hours worth of silence. Whoa! My trip was successful (yay!) and I head home. I was going to keep the car one more day as per the lease but it was enough silence and I returned it early. When I got to Enterprise, I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was very kind and understanding. He also reduced the price of my bill!!! Yay!! Thank you!! I rented a car for two weeks after I returned the vehicle there was a discrepancy about the amount of fuel the car had in it when I took it versus when I returned it. Do not rent from this place as they are unreliable. I booked a pickup online the day before. Checked in early the morning of my rental and got all the way down there and got a call while I'm out front (10 minutes before reservation) to let me know they don't have a pickup. No offer to help find one at another location, no offer of discounts on future rentals. Just "sorry you're out of luck." Not the way to do business. I understand mistakes can happen, but the lady on the phone seemed to care less when I explained I had been dropped off and had to find a way back home. I went through enterprise while my car was in the shop. When I first picked up the car it was quick and easy. I ended up have to extend it numerous times due to my car not being ready and every time I would just call and they would extend it over the phone. I dropped the car off today and it took maybe 5-8 mins in total. Everyone I've talked to has been so kind and the overall experience was great. If there was a star in the minus Enterprise Car Rental Company would qualify. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a car rental. I got a hybrid car that has a defective seat belt. I tried to return it for a replacement vehicle and had to try to find a replacement myself. The company didn't offer any help, just go fish. My advice, go to a different company!!! The car was clean and well maintained. I was going to have a long drive and verified maintenance on the car since I would be driving through the desert. They accommodated the request without issue. The only tiny thing that gave a 4 star vs a 5 star, is the process of returning the car was not as smooth as other times. It seemed like there were a lot of agents, and not many customers. This location and Staff are Epic. (No. I do not work here lol) I have been renting in this location for many moons, Enterprise is one of the only places that would rent to me under 25. Not only would they rent to me without ridiculous fees, they would have my car request ready. Never an issue with drop off or pick up. Let's fast forward to 2021. The most pleasant, upfront, and personable team. I had a crisis where I needed to drive out of state to Louisiana. I went to check availability and bam they had a luxury car, that I needed for the unexpected travel. Not only did they get me on the road quickly, I was in a great car for a great price. Yes it was last minute, during Covida and I had no exact return date. Anywho, I had an interesting situation out of state at another Enterprise in New Orleans Airport, where I could say was shocking and lacking proper training. However, upon my return Katie and team made all the distress of bad service a breeze, and Katie was the epitome of Customer First. I really have a lot of faith in this company and how they treat their customers. I am beyond pleased that they continue to live up to my expectations. An update to my previous one star review posted three days ago. Alas, though I rented the car for two days, Walters Mercedes finished my van on the same day. I modified my rental online and got the confirmation. I got to Enterprise at 5:30 and handed my keys to the manager Jasmine. She was actually pleasant (I suspect she saw my earlier review) and when I told her I was going to walk the couple of blocks to Walters to get my van she said "Why don't I drop you off?" She took my keys and went inside to close my transaction out. I mentioned that I needed a receipt. A few minutes later a guy names Makyi (sp?) came out and gave me a ride back. He was the coolest. Very polite and upbeat. I actually thought about deleting my earlier review. On Wednesday, I got a voicemail from Jasmine saying that I needed to return the car and complete the transaction!!! WTF? I dropped it off to HER! I called the office and Makyi answered. At first, he was puzzled and said that I had wracked up over $400 in charges. Stay away from Enterprise!! I booked a reservation via Costco Travel on March 19th at the UCR location for a minivan, they called me the next day said that they don't have any minivan available. So I searched online, it showed they had a minivan available at Enterprise Riverside Auto Center. First I called to check if it actually available, the woman work there told me that they have a minivan in stock and ready for pick up. Once I booked reservation, I asked her if I can use my Costco discount. So she gave me the phone number to call to apply the discount which was on March 20th. I ended up paid $497.12 with my Costco discount. This morning March 22nd at 9:44am, A guy name Robert called and told me that they just gave the last minivan to a customer that had reservations before us. However, when my husband looked online, it still showed as available minivan at their location for $658.24. He decided to book it without going through Costco Travel at 10:40am. By 11:23am, he got a call from a guy called himself Danial asking my husband if he still interested in renting a minivan. He told my husband that the van is available and ready for pickup anytime. However, by 1:03pm I got a called from Evette kept asking if I had another reservation under a guy name because we had the same last name. Long story short once they figured out that we are together, by 1:09am she called to my husband's phone and left a message that she spoke to me and will cancel my husband reservation as well. When I called back to confront them, they couldn't get their story straight. I had all the proof, yet they can't even apologize! It's just so messed up that a big company like Enterprise trained their managers to scam people like that!! Why Enterprise have a deal with Costco if they won't honor the deal. They would cancel customers reservations to give to full price new customers!! We were even willing to pay full price so we can take a trip with our kids. We will definitely stay away from Enterprise from now on. read more

I feel the need to report this incident which led me to not do business with enterprise car rental ever again. I will be submitting this to yelp as well and share with peers. On Wednesday may 17th 2023 I arrived at Enterprise car rental on  8155 Indiana Ave . Riverside, Ca 92504. I was there to pick up my rental.  I had previously made a reservation on line for a compact car. When I arrived I was greeted in the office by Sally Wong. The branch manager.  I was aware she was the manager because I've always rented vehicles from that location. Everything went as normal until the gentleman walked me out to the vehicle they were going to give me. I refused to take the car for delivery because it was dirty, missing a hub cap and the front bumper was cracked or loose.   I was in shock the Enterprise would even rent a vehicle looking that way. Us consumers pay a high premium for car rentals. My invoice was going to be over $400.00 dollars. I was not happy. I asked the gentleman if he can talk to his manager and let her know I will not be taking delivery of this car and if she can give me another vehicle.  After the conversation he had with the manager he came out and stated to me that she said that's the only vehicle they have and that's the vehicle I reserved on line.  Well,  they don't show pictures of the actual car you are going to receive when you make a reservation on line,  as you know. I told her if they don't have any other vehicles to please upgrade me at the same daily price I had when I made my reservation.  She told me no I would have to pay the higher price. After arguing with her to no avail. I took the upgrade at the additional fees.  Sally was very rude and told me I can go rent a car from another company if I wish. She insisted on giving me the beat up vehicle because supposedly that's what I reserved.  I have never experienced such horrible service.  Not to mention the stress and embarrassment she caused me. I'm attaching pictures of the vehicle she wanted me to take delivery of. I'm also attaching the invoice of the rental I took at a higher price. I needed the car for 7 days but I was very upset so I returned it after two days. This entire incident and bad service could have been avoided if the manager made the right decisions. She should have never tried to rent a vehicle looking the way it was. She could have given me a discount for the upgrade due to the inconvenience I was caused.  I expected higher service and integrity in your management. Hopefully in the future Sally Wong has a better understanding of the service she should offer to customers. read more

Enterprise is not the place to rent a car. Unfortunately due to my insurance company I had to use them otherwise I'd stay away. I'm started off terrible i called the Riverside location and told them I needed a pick up at BMW they say ok not problem be right there. 40 minutes later I'm still waiting so I call back Vanessa informs me oh the drive said your not there I'm like what I'm right in front of the service department don't you bother to call you have my cell number anyway they sent another driver. I get to the rental location finally get a car that is absolutely filthy the windshield is fogged with some crap and the outside is so absolutely horrible. The lady helping me laughs when I point it out and says it's clean that's just how are car wash machine leaves the cars. Um ok puzzled but already annoyed I take the car just to get out of there. Today I decide to exchange the vehicle I reply to the text message like asking about an exchange and no one responds... nice! So I start calling around and asking about exchanging the car and upgrading miraculously no cars anywhere to be found but you can go online and reserve one without any issues. I called the riverside location back and ask if I should reserve one online she said no just come in I'm like why would I do that if your telling me you don't have any cars here reply umm yeah. So I asked her can I reserve one online then she says no I said well why your telling me you done have any cars but if I go online it lets me reserve one does that make sense again she she's says ummm yeah? So I said that's it your answer is yeah guess what her response was.. **** update 6/28/24 don't believe that they take action with these negative reviews either I supplied my information over two days ago and have not heard a word from them. Sorry, I had a hard time renting a car with the location on university had to go there three times and the one in Moreno Valley one time just to have a reservation and be told that they don't have the cars there and I am paying for my own transportation there and back so that was pretty upsetting. It had taken three days, but I went to this location here in Indiana and I was actually given a a ride from one of the sales guys cause I had went to the wrong location they had brought me into the correct rental location. He was so sweet and so considerate that I had been frustrated and overwhelmed from being turned away from enterprise on university so many times he brought me to the correct location here on Indiana where I was greeted with Jasmine at the counter who has been one of the greatest experiences i've had with enterprise she then gave me Dylan who pretty much got me to my rental. They help me so quickly. It took less than 15 minutes and I had been struggling with the other locations for three days. I just want to give this location a huge thank you I'm so thankful that you guys were able to help me get into a new car so easily and happily you guys truly made this experience great and easy thank you for giving me that kind of service where I don't have a bad taste in my mouth from the experience I had going on with the other other enterprises this location. Enterprise tried to ruin our vacation! We booked a 15 passenger van 2 months ago, when we knew the dates of our road trip. My wife confirmed it a week ago just to avoid any hiccups or surprises. WE DID OUR PART. Unfortunately Enterprise didn't. We went this morning to pick up the van and all they had were excuses and the address of another rental shop down the street. No vans. They were "taken by corporate". No assistance beyond pointing the direction down the street. When I asked why , with all of attempts to make sure there wasn't an issue, didn't they call us or contact us. We were left high and dry!!! This is the first negative experience with the Indiana location and I can't put my disappointment in a YELP review. We were left to figure it out with a competitor. My insurance company "reserved" a car for me at Enterprise-Indiana St in Riverside. When I got there they had no cars in the price range my insurance would cover. The Enterprise rep was playing major shell games with me trying to get me to get into a upgraded vehicle telling me he would give me the upgrade at the same price but I would have to pay the taxes out of pocket that would be $8 per day that is $56 per week. I would have the car for three weeks. I kept telling the guy "I am not paying anything out of pocket"! I then told him I am going to have my insurance company rent my car from another Enterprise. All of a sudden a car magically appeared that my insurance covered 100%. The guy then shoved his iPad in my hands wanting me to sign. I told him I want to inspect the car for any prior damages. He said it was fine & just sign. I looked the car over & found scrapes & paint chips. The rep then tells me that is all common & not to be worried about it. I made him note the damages on the paperwork. We said their printer isn't working & he would email me my receipt. When I got home I printed the receipt. Nothing noted about the damage. I got a text message from the region's manager asking how my rental went. I mentioned above & the rep did not note the damages on my paperwork. The manager said he would have it noted. It's bad enough to have your daily driver in the repair shop & then have to deal with an deceptive auto rental company. read more

This place SUCKS. They have shitty customer service, will not even greet you on the phone, but will throw you on hold immediately. If they do decide to pick up the phone and entertain you however, they will talk over you disrespectfully, dismiss all of your concerns and give you a solution that doesn't even make sense for what you just shared with them. They don't listen, they are not professional, they lack all customer service skills. I'll even name a few! Stephen was by far the worst and most disrespectful. He couldn't stand to let me talk and explain what my issue was. He just kept talking over me and telling me that my deposit was being processed. Had he taken the time to give me space to talk, he would've found out that my car was never rented out of their location. I just needed their location to pick up a car from a dealership around the corner from their location. They left a rental rented out of another enterprise location, parked right outside a luxury dealership for a week After I already turned over the key, so you can imagine my stress and annoyance caused by this branch being negligent. Anything could happen to that car and who's fault would it have been? Luckily I explained the situation to the branch I rented the car from and they closed out my contract without issue because of all of this hassle with this Indiana branch. I would never be bold enough to rent from this Indiana location. If they can't even be decent with someone on the phone, I don't even want to know what type of service they provide in person and how stressful it must be trying to work with them on returning a rental, or getting them to listen to you in general. Seems like their branch manager is also pretty questionable especially since the branch manager of the location I rented from, had called this branch manager to ask wtf is going on, and you would think he/she would take care of the problem immediately, right? If there was zero that would be my rating. After renting their car they began sending me parking citations and withdrawing money from my checking account for citation processing fees. It was later learned that they had me and another Renter mixed up. That didn't stop the charges. They continued to go into my checking account for toll fees. Even having known the issue, their citation dept asked me for proof that it wasn't me. People BE AWARE. I'm still getting charges even weeks after returning the rental. I had the coolest people check me both in and out and honestly they made it so simple after I had first booked with hertz and literally the morning I was to go pick up they told me they wouldnt have a car for me and that was it. Hertz had said they expected more cars and to just wait but after waiting Al morning I was in full panic mode and called enterprise after multiple places couldn't help me on a. Friday afternoon. I was in a minor fender bender, and needed a rental ASAP because my truck went to the shop. I went online and placed a reservation for a truck at the office listed in this review, 8155 Indiana Avenue in Riverside CA. 92504. August 5, 2020 at 2:35 PM will be a date and time I will never forget! An employee asked to help me; I gave her my confirmation information, CDL and credit card. A couple of minutes later she comes back and informs me that "same day rentals are not accurate online and the truck I reserved was unavailable". She apologized and said she did not have what I needed in stock. I told her all I needed was a truck and it did not have to be the larger one I ordered and asked her as I pointed out to two trucks that were in the lot (a gray Nissan and a white Nissan) if I can take one of those, she said "NO and that they were not available". I wasn't quite convinced what she said but I turned around and walked back to my car and told my wife what happen. As we pulled out, I decided to pull over and park my car about half a block away and asked my wife to call the same office and ask if there were any trucks available for rent, to my surprise she was told yes. She quickly got out of the car and walked to the rental office as the person on the phone got her information. 5 minutes from when I was told there were no trucks available my wife is told yes and about 15 minutes later drives out with the white Nissan, one of the two trucks I pointed. For the first time in my life someone blatantly lied to me and denied me service, this is NOT acceptable and is not the end of this story!
