This 5 star is ONLY for Mr. Ryan Jackson. I returned my rental yesterday, but before I went there I called and spoke to Ryan and because he was so friendly and respectful over the phone, I asked if he could help me when I get there. The reason why: the person who helped me when I picked up my rental before wasn't very kind and I swore I would never go back to this place after that encounter. So I was very glad, Ryan was the one who helped me. Anyway, Ryan was there and he helped me with the return. He was so PROFESSIONAL, kind, and customer service was OUTSTANDING! He made sure that I understood the bill, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Ryan went above and beyond when he asked me how am I gonna get my car from the shop, I told him I'll have to cal a Lyft because I'm by myself and I have to get there before 5 pm. He said not to worry he could give me a ride there as a courtesy service (it's 1.8 miles away). And on the way there, he said that he hopes I had a good experience with Enterprise Rental. Mr. Ryan Jackson - thank you, Sir! You are an ASSET to Enterprise. Bless your heart and I wish you more blessings in your career that you so well deserve. And for Enterprise: Mr. Jackson deserves a PROMOTION. PLEASE CONSIDER IT. I hope you make him a branch manager or higher. You will not regret it. I had a free rental car here when I was in an accident a while back, and just like their commercial says, they did pick me up!! During Covid, only one person at a time was allowed inside their business. Everything was quick and easy getting the rental car. The car was clean, not too many miles on it either. Please, please, PLEASE! Do not rent your car here!! For starters I was quoted an initial weekly price when I rented the vehicle and on the anticipated day of returned, I called to confirm the quote however was told a different price I notified the manager. The next day when I returned the vehicle, I returned the car in the same condition as it was when I initially rented. The manager Adan accused me of a damage on the car that was on the car when I rented the vehicle. I explained to Adan that damage was already on the car during the initial day of renting. He refused to listen and stated he was going to file a claim. Another staff member who was present, Bay Hoang stated that the damage looked like it was already there and that their technicians have made mistakes in the past with documentation. Adan still stated that he was filing a claim. The claim is false! There was no accident nor damages made to the vehicle while in my possession. Please stay away from this location! With two whips in the shop, I took advantage of the rental car insurance benefit. Enterprise was the hook up. I did not have to do anything. Juan called me up to let me know my rental was ready. I was to just call about a half hour beforehand for a ride from my home to their location. Kamila was the driver and and arrived in 45 minutes. Very accommodating and friendly. Worst rental car center I've ever been too. I was forced to use this specific center because of my car insurance company. The first car they gave me felt like it was going to break - alignment was messed up, shocks were out and brakes squealed every single time. When I called about the car, they told me the brake sound were the censors. The car was also given to me on an empty and wasn't clean even though it had the "this car has been cleaned" paper inside. I have made several reservations at this Enterprise because of convenience of location. I always rent the same vehicle for a specific purpose but every time i come, the service is worse and worse. I made a reservation for 9am, they called and told me it would be ready until 11:00am. I wait until 11:40am to arrive because they tend to be slow with getting the vehicles out but even with my delay, at 12:30pm they were still WASHING AND CLEANING the van. I waited over an hour which made me extremely late for our event. It's absolutely ridiculous and frustrating that to say the least. read more

I sure hope these two young men still work here because I had lost the card with their names on it until today. After my car was broken into while trying to be stolen it went into the shop for repairs. My insurance sent me to Enterprise. While this is a popular rental company I had to wait one day for availabilty. They reserved me a car for the very next day. There was hardly any wait time. The staff was quick and very kind. Well upon my return The young man by the name of Tramar who was helping me check out gave me a wonderful discount seeing that even with insurance I still had to pay and it was a hard time for me. He was so sweet and kind I almost cried. And to the young man Orlando who shuttled me to the repair shop thank you for the great conversation and laughs. Terrible service. Call center told me to contact directly the San Leandro location and that they had a few cars available. I wanted to do a swap since car its saying to change oil. I was on hold 30 mins then got hung up on which really didn't matter at this point since I arrived at the location. When I got there Tyler said they don't have cars to swap out and that I can do the oil change myself. This place doesn't deserve any star. It took about half an hour to get through this Office to pick you up. Once they did, I was advise I be the next in 30 minutes. When 30 minutes ended, I asked what is going the response was we are busy and it take another half hour. I was upset and I said this is unacceptable. The rude manager which I don't know how she became manager said, if you don't like it then we won't provide car to you and asked the driver to drop me off at shop where they picked me up. Came over to pick up a vehicle, they didn't have one that I liked right then and there, but the lady told me one was coming back from getting an oil change. This is probably the best Enterprise I've been in (they all have been pretty good) but picking up and dropping off the car didn't take longer than 10 minutes. Lynette helped me pick up my rental for a week and was very nice and professional and was able to explain all the different coverages that I could purchase. I was in my rental within 10 minutes from walking in the door. Dropped the car off a week later to this taller gentleman (forgot his name) and it took no longer than 5 minutes. Did a quick walk around with the car, shook my hand and asked if I wanted a paper receipt or a email receipt then I was on my way. I will use this Enterprise for any future rentals (usually the cheapest compared to other locations). Also if you're planning on taking publication transportation you can get off the San Leandro Bart Station and take the free Kaiser San Leandro Shuttle and just walk about two blocks to this location (saves money on uber/lyft). read more

This review comes from not the average car renter, but from a corporate account perspective. Positives: excellent service via phone and in person - a huge contrast from Hertz. The sedan I rented was in top quality, as there was never a problem driving it anywhere. Maggie offered to do prepaid gas or for me to pump it myself with my own money, so I chose the latter option. Pickup service took about an hour but dropoff service was almost immediate, so do keep that in mind when you pickup your vehicle on your pickup date. They are a busy location as I was there on Monday and Friday. Nicole, Maggie, and the rest of the staff are incredible in customer service...Nicole and the guy with a beard and glasses (I forgot his name) seemed to have great rapport. Though I don't do business travel all that often, I will continue using Enterprise for future business traveling - they have made a lasting, positive impression for me. Negatives: none! read more

Horrible service I got car trough insurance my first call was we don't have anything now tomorrow cars arrive. So I took car to shop they called and now they have something available so I only have two options I take one and let them know I'll come back and get better option they gave me dirty vehicle with trash in bed probably for previous renter. Wait wasn't too long to pick up the car. The process itself is pretty efficient but the wrong information and misleading price quote is unethical. The staff transferring the blame and responsibility was what topped it for me. When I went to pick up the car In the parking lot I was informed they did not have the full size car I reserved, instead they will "upgrade" it to a SUV for $6 difference per day. I clearly informed the representative, I did not want to come out of pocket for the rental car. the representative confirm that when I return the car and it is less than what is allocated by my claim for payment, I would not have to pay anything. Upon returning the car 1 day earlier then required by my claim adjuster and not being able to have my repaired car till 5 days later do to avoid any out of pocket cost. I was then charged for a daily overage even though my rental did not come close to exceeding the claim allocation. The staff did not own up to their misleading info and only reminded me I had agreed to the "upgrade". In my previous rental experience with Alamo, when they offered to upgrade me because they did not have the type of car I reserved, it was not charged not even 1 cent more to my existing reservation. Now that is what is ethical and a great business practice. Don't punish and mislead the customer. Instead they took ownership and rectified the issue. But this is how this establishment conducts their business with Misleading and unethical practices. I'm not sure if all Enterprises are like this, but I can say for all my personal rental car needs I have never used enterprise and will remember to never use them in the future and ensure all my family and friends are aware of this incident when they choose their potential rental car needs. read more
