    Keelan, a pleasant Enterprise Car Rental employee, gave me a safe and enjoyable ride back to Firestone to retrieve my car.

    Last week, I took my car into Firestone in Coddingtown and had to leave it overnight. The gentleman at Firestone called Enterprise and asked if someone could pick me up and take me back there to rent a car. A kind gentleman arrived shortly and gave me a ride. Once there, another nice gentleman quickly chose a car to my liking, provided the necessary information, and I was on my way. I returned the car the next day to a very pleasant young man, paid the reasonable fee, and another nice young man drove me back to Firestone to pick up my car. The entire experience, including the cleanliness of the building and bathroom, was very positive. All four gentlemen I encountered at Enterprise were nice, pleasant, and efficient. The next time I need to rent a car, the first place I'll think of is Enterprise Car Rentals on Cleveland Avenue in Santa Rosa.

    Terrible place. I literally called before they closed put me on hold while I was waiting to speak to them about picking up a rental. They literally answered and hung up and now it's close after I waiting for 15mins. You guys are not professional at all. My insurance had me call them and now I have no rental.

    My insurance company sent me to Enterprise to have a car while work was being done on my vehicle. I arrived at 11 am on Monday, 8/17 and it started raining and the wind was blowing hard. There was a line of folks waiting to pick up their rentals and they were busy. All the employees were working hard. When it was my time, I received an upgrade to a larger vehicle, a Nissan Rogue. I was happy and drove it home. It was dark and stormy and didn't take the time to inspect the vehicle. Later the weather cleared and I was going to the store. That's when I noticed the interior of the car was filthy. Not just dirty but filthy. there was dust on the dash and steering column, dirt on all door panels, a large brown dirt stain on the passenger seat. I looked in the back and found a dog toy and half-eaten dog bone. I discovered the receipt for the dog treats was from July 20th, 2020 almost a month ago. There was also a magazine. There were muddy dog prints through-out the car. The interior of the windows was dirty with streaks running through the film. Like when you have condensation on the inside of your car and it fogs up the window. How, in this day and age of Covid-19 do you miss cleaning an interior of a rental vehicle. The plates were New Jersey and the previous renter must have had it for almost a month as I could not see it being missed twice. I could only hope the individual(s) were not on a quarantine trip away from family and friends. When I returned it, I pointed out all the interior issues The representative was very apologetic and accepted that they did not do their jobs. He looked shocked. I left everything in there for them as I wanted them to see what had occurred. He offered to refund some money but it was an insurance rental and I paid nothing for it. He also offered to upgrade and discount future rentals, which I declined. His response was the only reason I gave them 2 stars as he tried to make it right and accepted responsibility for the condition of the vehicle. Had it not been dark and stormy, I would have seen the condition of the vehicle and I am sure they would have taken care of me.

My daughter was moving and she's only 19. I was worried that she wouldn't be able to rent a van because of her age, but the website had a box to check if the driver is under the age of 24. We checked that box, and it let us proceed. We put in all of her information- name, driver license #, birthday, etc. So the reservation was set up with her name, all of her info. Her grandfather generously offered to pay for her moving van, so she used his card when making the reservation. However, when she arrived to pick up the van, they wouldn't let her take it because she's under 24 years old. My wife and I drove up to help her out, and went in the next day when the store opened. We put the van in my name and added my daughter as a driver. The man running the place said he needed a credit card. I gave him my card and asked if I was going to be charged the full amount, and he said no, it would just be for a refundable deposit. He printed out the paperwork, and I saw that my card number was on it, so I asked again. Again he said no, don't worry, that's just the amount for the deposit. Well, guess what? I was was charged the full amount. Big surprise. When I called customer service to try to rectify the situation, they weren't helpful at all. I told them that I was never going to rent from Budget again, and that I'd be leaving a Yelp review to hopefully help other people avoid having to deal with them. They seemed fine with that. So, here it is- my very first Yelp review! I've never been irritated enough with a company to bother with this, so congratulations, Budget of Santa Rosa! You did it! So, to sum it all up, if you're moving and want to be greatly inconvenienced by incompetence (or, possibly, dishonesty) , this is the place to go!

Customer service was awful. I wouldn't rent here even if I needed to see a dying family member ASAP and they were the only option. Take a greyhound or walk if there's not another option.

Once my car was done, I was told that I could just pick it up at the shop and leave rental car there for my convenience and it enterprise would come pick it up for me. (This is way back in May of 2025.). The next day I get a call from Enterprise asking me how I want to take car of the broken windshield (?!). I had to rush down there to see what they were talking about. There is no way I had a broken windshield. It took some fighting but I got them to remove that from my fault as it absolutely was not me, and somehow luckily they realized that. But then about a month and a half later I was presented with a bill from them for a citation, and an automatic charge to my credit card for $119. They are very unclear about where citation occurred, as I had no recollection. I had to go through multiple sources and sitting on hold to find out it was a citation issued in WA state. Even though the car I was driving did have a WA state license, there was no way I was in WA. After hours on hold with them, they determined it was an error; a police officer had written down the license plate wrong (3 digits wrong!) for another car in WA (a Cadillac and I was in a Nissan). They said they would take care of the error and I should not even need to file a dispute with my credit card because they would take care of it all. I didn't fully trust them and filed a dispute with my credit card co. I assumed, since I have used and enjoyed Enterprise for many years that it WOULD be taken care of. WRONG. I'm in m busy full life working and caring for family when I get this dang letter in the mail from credit card co that they've completed their investigation and see that the charge is valid and that I should be paying! First I start researching the Seattle court (doing their job for them) who verify it was not a Nissan, but a Cadillac, etc, not the car I was in), they send me photos. I next call the irresponsible Enterprise again and have to wait on hold for hours again until someone gets on the phone who's apologizing that nothing was done properly and that now they will be looking into it and it will take at least 10 business days to resolve. That letter was on November 10. Meanwhile, I'm having to pay the dumb credit card company to keep my credit score from going in the dumps. Yesterday we had to rent a car for a whole week and we went to BUDGET instead. Praying there are no nightmares there either. I wanted to attach my Pics of citation and car license plate I was driving that shows the license plate number I was in with the wrong car, but technology is just too time consuming to that going. Here we are in end of November and it's not resolved. This is outrageous time consuming and very upsetting. It almost feels like whomever was trying to sic the broken windshield on me was in cahoots with the ticketing BS.

I never in my life had issues with Toyota vehicles. But the hybrid model unfortunately had a recall once we reached around 5000 miles on it. And the worst part is due to the hybrid engine and it could cause loss of power while driving which is dangerous and unsafe to use the car, and even worse it could cause a fire which is dangerous and both issues could result in harm to me, my family or to other innocent drivers on the rd. I told them about the recall and they said they don't have a remedy and will let let know when they do but it should be in the first quarter of 2026 (January-March) which has passed. So they wanted me to drive this car feeling unsafe and stressed out because I'm anticipating issues with the car. But I told them I don't feel safe and because it's a safety issue they gave me a loaner. I guess the loaner was only set up for 30 days or so and I couldn't make it to renew the loaner and brought it back a week late. So they said they can't loan me anymore vehicles. I just live about 2 hours away and was not going to be in the area until a week after the date they wanted me to come in. So I came in to renew the vehicle and the 1st quarter of the year is basically over and still no remedy/way to fix our brand new car. And they wouldn't renew the loaner so they forced me to take the defective Camry they sold me or I would have been stranded. It is now almost May and other issues arose. Such as Infotainment system/screen going black while the car is on. And a jerk when the car goes from hybrid engine and the gas engine starts. I had my wife contact them to see if they would give her a loaner but they refused. And said they will look into the other issues when they have a remedy for the recall (that was supposed to be resolved I the first quarter). So they have us driving and paying for a car that we feel unsafe in, and can literally catch fire while driving. But we have no choice because they refuse to replace it. Corporate said the issue doesn't warrant a replacement?! But I hope nobody ever buys a hybrid car from Toyota. I know I won't be. I might never buy another Toyota to be honest. But the rental car department manager acted like I was trying to steal the loaner. The service manager doesn't like to get back to you, and also the salesman David who sold me the car stated he is going to look into it and get back to me but I have not heard from him since. This has been going on over 3 months or so. I don't wish this on my worst enemy. We're literally paying for a problem, and to use a dangerous/ unsafe vehicle. DO NOT SHOP AT FREEMAN TOYOTA! DO NOT BUY ANY TOYOTA HYBRID!

I hope the two sad employees who hate their jobs and customers have a good day. They might need a raise because their unkept appearance leads me to believe they can't even care for themselves. A group of my friends and family along with myself were fortunate enough to get to the Sonoma airport safely. Unfortunately when we arrived to the airport there were a total of 2 employees in the main terminal and one man working a detached terminal for United. No shuttles were available and no rental car employees were present. Shortly after arriving the airport lost power and the situation was beyond tense. We had stressed every option but we had not vehicle, shuttle, flights weren't flying because none of their staff was able to get through the fires. After spending hours at the airport our nerves were going crazy realizing we had no options or support Francis ( an Avis employee) showed up with his wife who was in tears. Francis and his wife had just driven from their home through the wild fires. We saw him in the parking lot and immediately approached him, he couldn't have had more compassion and sense of urgency for our situation. He wasted no time getting us a vehicle. After he had gotten us a vehicle he was able to give us vital information regarding the available routes. Francis and his wife had just evacuated their home, drove through fire and we patiently walking us through the steps we needed to take. I've never experienced such a selfless act. He is genuinely a hero and the reason that we were able to safely get to San Francisco. We are so fortunate and grateful for his help.

Once we drove it a few miles, the warning light for low tire pressure and the warning light for no washer fluid in the windshield washer turned on. It is obvious this vehicle was not checked before assigning it to me. I tried twice to fill up the tires with air, but the warning light did not go off. When I returned the car, I told the attendant about these issues. All he said was "OK," "OK." Not "I'm sorry." Lousy.
