When using this location they are always nice it is a rather small spot. Most of the use I have had was with picking up a rental for different reasons.from getting vans to run students to games or just a larger truck than I own. It's a clean spot but sometimes they run a little behind on reservations and I have at one point been told that they sent my vehicle to a different location that I had to drive to pick up. He let me know he was unsure as to why it had to be towed but was still ok offering it as a replacement renal to me. Felt like they were trying to upsell you for everything! Very low quality customer service and the selection of cars were not great for the price of the rental. This is the 1st time I've renting a car and felt dissatisfied and I rented plenty of cars. I was in the middle of a private conversation regarding what was going on and how I felt, surprisingly, the manager jumps right into my conversation shouting into the phone. The rate is fair, they did not have economy so upgraded to compact which is Hyundai Accent. (for a compact its bigger than I expected) Not a fan of Korean car but since it's just a one-day rental I could care less. I signed the paper and got the key in less than 10 mins. Maybe because I also purchased the damage waiver so they did not even go through the car with me at all. He just asked if I know where is everything and I was on my own. # The car had a strong fragrance smell at beginning but soon gone after opening the window. # Whoever clean the car did a lousy job. Acceptable unless you are a clean freak. # The seat had stains on it. # They gave me the car at half tank! So, it was a little difficult to estimate how much gas to put when returning the car. Ended put full tank by accident. (my stupid friend!!!) # Something got loose at the bottom so every time drove over dip you can hear the scratch sound. # Their parking lot is super tiny, I had to ask for help to get the car out of the lot :P even the staff backed up like 4-5 times to get the car out. If you can't do it without hit other cars, ask for help. # You can cell them to pick you up. Overall, friendly and efficient. Fair price. The small locations often have the very best staff - such is the case here. The manager here, Erik, has a gift for getting on the same page with the customer and being able to diagnose exactly what might be best for the customer even with the customer himself not knowing. If enterprise Rent-A-Car corporation wants to increase overall sales, it would do well to draft Erik into its higher ranks. Stephen was the agent who worked most directly with me: very diligent and very very professional more so than virtually any other rental agent excepting Eric. I was offered a substitute for my initial rental to a Ford F150 XLT. When I declined collision coverage due to being a 30 year member of American Express, Stephen did not waste time on simply attempting to sell me, as many agents have done in the past. Instead he acted very consciously for the well-being of his customer: he mentioned that some credit cards such larger vehicles and so encouraged me to contact American Express. So I did so, and putting it on speaker, found that American Express has no problem on collision coverage up to eight passenger vehicles, including this Ford F1 50. Stephen was happy to hear that of course: both for my sake and that he could help future customers. Each time I needed more help one or both of these gentlemen made it painless and easy to accommodate me. First to extend my rental, then to help me when needed to extend my rental again to attend the funeral of an old friend. Both of The east chance we're admirable and sympathetic as well as respectful of their customer. They deserve the highest kudos possible of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Had a reservation for a mid size SUV on September 24,2024 for 12 noon pick up. Had my son in town from Texas and we were going fishing up north of LA. We arrived at the Enterprise in Stanton at 12:55pm for pick up and the guy behind the counter tells us you had it reserved for noon. I told him we got caught up a little bit but we're here and he says "well we gave the vehicle to someone else because you were late".... excuse me. He said he had a Toyota Corolla he could rent me and I told him that wouldn't do. He told me it would take an hour or so to get another one for us and he would call me. He never called, but in the meantime I called Budget on Lincoln avenue and they said they had an mid size SUV I could rent so we went and picked it up and what do you know it was an upgrade to a 2024 Ford Expedition MAX-What a vehicle!! Thanks for being such terrible rental people Enterprise! I have rented cars from this Stanton location for 18 years and maybe longer because it's right behind the property I manage and never had a problem. This specific location in STANTON I definitely recommend to anyone that needs a rental for whatever reason. I had went with my father as an interpreter but the employee himself made the effort to try to communicate with him & it was definitely successful (they even made jokes). Made a reservation on 7/17 for an SUV rental for 8/10 at 9:00am. Came at 9 guy was totally blah, no personality kind of made it awkward. The SUV inside is completely filthy. I asked if they cleaned the cars and he said the last driver does... ugh really ? That's gross! I've always gone to the cypress enterprise which is great... but came here because it was closer. So they took the car back to clean it... if I made a reservation on 7/17 the car should have already and cleaned.... now I'm waiting. The car is literally on E. like really .... you mean to tell me you guys couldn't have it ready for a customer who made a reservation a month in advance. Now I'm driving off with an SUV with water all over it, seats have stains car is filthy and there's crumbs all over the place and food pieces... this is disgusting Wont be back to this location. First off, I wanted to say that customer service was great when picking up the car and returning it. Other than that, I'm extremely disappointed. I called a few hours later after returning the car for my sunglasses that I had left in the sunglass compartment that were worth $160+. Found out that the car was rented out almost immediately but before being rented out, a service agent checks it to make sure the car is alright and nothing from the previous customer was left behind. Maybe it was my fault that I did not triple check the car before returning it but I expect a company to be truthful, especially when it comes to a customer's personal belongings. Yelp Challenge 2016 16/116 I have rented here a couple of times over the years. It is close to home, close to work, super easy to access. Located at Beach and Chapman in Stanton near the Starbucks. They have always been nice to me. Super easy process. I must of asked the call center a gazillion questions. Reserved my car online, then called them back just to confirm it. You can either reserve online without interacting with anybody, or call directly. If they are busy, your call gets sent out to who knows where, but whoever answers they will help you. Orginally I was going to UBER my way to the facility or take the bus from work. But, they will pick you up within a few miles. The sweetest driver picked me up at home in a really cool Nissan. She was super cool, and easy to talk too. Then when I dropped it off I got another ride home. When I arrived staff was super friendly. All my paperwork was ready. All I had to do is sign and give my credit card for a deposit. They do need proof of residence along with your ID card. Luckily my Dogs ID card was good enough. No, Im serious. It had my name and address on it too. Other form of ID could be something you can pull from your smart phone. My car was pretty cool. It was a 2015 Nissan Altima. It was clean, had super cool features on it. Could not ask for a better ride. Hubsters just told me NOT to get the Hyundai. This is a small location so if your heart is set on a good car make a reservation!! Now, let me tell you a little bitty secret. The parking lot is teny tiny. There is a back entrance off Chapman you dont have to flip a U turn on Beach Blvd to enter the lot. Now lets talk, the green stuff. How much will it cost you? Well if you are local they have $9.99 deals with a daily maximum of 100 miles. If your like me and plan on driving more than 100, then stick to the unlimited mileage deal. Basic lower end cars start at about $21. Moderately sized sedans are about $24 or so. The bigger trucks, SUVs, Vans cost more. A lot more. Just do your research. Look for coupons. Cars are rented in 24 hour periods, and they are closed on Sundays. Weekend rental from Friday to Monday cost me the deposit up front, then pay upon return. The real costs is in the insurance. It is always a good idea to get some so you don't have to worry about any problems on your road trip. This place was cool. #832 read more

This location is great, handles everything efficiently. This and a couple other locations are great to work with. The app and web page are basically bait and switch, tease you with low rates that you attempt to reserve, only to get error messages and locked out, forcing you to try again later or call and get higher rates. Has happened to me way too often. Worse, when you do call while looking at a current rate, the people you talk to are u able to get you the same rate. Seriously sad decline of Enterprise and overall online/phone customer service in order to make higher rates. read more

The Good: What to do if you are at your mechanic and he needs to work on your truck overnight? You call Enterprise, they pick you up! So that's what we did, and they came over, picked me up and got me a car faster than calling an Uber. Since I only needed it for a day I didn't care what type of car I got, but I got a tiny Hyundai, not sure what model as I am not a Hyundai expert or really even pay attention to them. It was great for what I needed, to get back home. I was told to bring it back within 24 hours but there might be an hour of wiggle room there and to bring it back with whatever fuel level it was at now, which was full. I hate it when you rent a car and they have it at half a tank because how do you fill it up to half without guessing? It was clean and I zipped home. When I brought it back, about half way there the fuel gauge dropped a notch, damn, so I had to fill it up, less than a gallon to fill it up. They dropped me back off at my shop and I was on my way home. The Bad: Tiny parking lot in a sketchy area of Stanton, so they open later and close earlier than most Enterprises. My daughter had a car wreck with out rental insurance. Luis went above and beyond in working with the body shop that was repairing her car to working with us on an affordable rental. We had the rental a few days longer than planned, but that was no worry as Luis kept in touch with us weekly. When we missed the turn in date we just talked to him and he wanted us to know all was ok and bring back to them when ready. I reserve cars online before going in and if they don't have what I reserve I get a free upgrade. I've been renting from this location 4 almost a year and even though the staff changes the service is consistent and I always know I can expect to get what I want. They have even gone so far as to look for the exact car I want. I like to rent the small Fiat and they will look for one for me if I call ahead. I'll be moving out of state in a couple weeks and I definitely wants to rent my moving van through this location to ensure that there are no snags with my move. Probably the only thing I don't like about this location is that they're not open longer on Saturdays but that's my only gripe! read more

Not impressed. I have been renting through Enterprise for the past 3 years since joining my company. This was by far the most unprofessional location I've been to. The location I originally rented from didn't have my vehicle ready. So, they sent me here. I had a few problems: 1. When I picked up the car, he walked me out and I automatically started walking around it pointing out huge scratches in it. Normally, we document them so there aren't any problems when I return it. He looked at me and said, "I'm just doing this as a favor for [the other location manager]," and handed me the keys. 2. It was dirty. There was half a bag of Fritos under the passenger seat. 3. Worst of all, I got all of 20 miles before the gas light went on! I'm from out of state,, rushing to get to my grandparents before they go to bed so I can say to them for the first time in five years. And I lost a half hour running around trying to find a gas station at 6:30 off the 405. I spent $30 on a half a tank of gas, and ended up returning it with almost that much in it. Fortunately, the location I returned it to was the original location I rented from, and they gave me credit -- no thanks to this location. My whole experience with these folks was much different than any other Enterprise location I've ever been to, and it had negative impact on my trip. We rent from enterprise 4+ times a year and had been using the Cypress location for a while. When we wanted to leave on our trip a few hours early, Cypress couldn't accommodate us (or didn't want to), so I called this location and wow! What a huge difference in service! I've always thought Enterprise did cookie-cutter type training, so the associates were all sort of vanilla and very scripted. Not true. From the first call to the return of the car, everyone on this team (a very small group) was great. The vehicle was also outstanding. I highly recommend this location, even if it's a little farther for you. The service is worth it! We will be back. read more
