First time at this location and the customer service was the best. Tim helped me out and put me at ease and made the process stress free accommodating my budget and needs for my rental. He was very flexible and helpful throughout the process. My personal car broke down due to a recall and the dealership wanted to go through Hertz ( because they were responsible for rental as soon as repairs were approved) after I had already had the rental for two days and paperwork complete and Tim went above and beyond to work it out with the dealership to keep me in the car I was in to prevent any inconveniences for me. I definitely recommended this location. FYI....I went to HB location and their service was the complete opposite of what I received at Stanton location. Just got off the phone with Mike the manager there. I called to speak to someone even though I have the app and membership, the $9.99 per day deal does not register??? I called because different locations require different verification if you use your bank card. After explaining this to someone, I am abruptly transferred and get to start over with someone who knows nothing of why I called. This trip was a 4-all-girls quick weekend getaway with friends out of state. We arrived about 45 minutes before our reservation time to picked up. The car wasn't ready. Then the staff pulled up at the parking lot more than 1/2 hour late with the car so dirty (sand dirt and mud all over, inside and out) and with terrible unbearable smoking smell. (When I made the reservation, we requested smoke-free.) Brandon tried to clean up the car while we were waiting (what a waste of our time) but still you can visibly see from the outside how dirty it was. He did not offer to bring it back to wash or a replacement instead, he just offered a 10% discount and said we can bring the car back empty with gas. Since I already spent so much time at the branch, unfortunately, I no longer have time to wait as we are in crunch of time and needs to leave. On my way, I called him back to clarify what we have discussed. Also, when we asked Brandon of the Oil Change sign displayed, he only said, "Service was done but they forgot to clear the sign." This is clearly unacceptable. However, he assured us that there is nothing to worry about. When we returned the vehicle, Brandon gave us the 10% discount as he promised. However, my friends and I felt, $6.00 discount for a 3-day car rental were not enough for the horrible, long ride (back and forth) and experienced we had with this car. We endured the smell of smoke in more than 8 hours of our trip. And worst, the Chevy Sonic car is too uncomfortable for a compact car (not very spacious and small legroom). Also, come on, how can you return a car with an empty gas? In the receipt, he crossed-out the $5.40/gallon charge and wrote $2.60/gallon. He estimated and refunded that it was worth $11.00 (only) when we returned (with 6 bars of gas left). Before we left (returned the car and settled the bill), Brandon said, you will receive a survey about our service and simply stated to give him good reviews. He stapled a business card with his hand written note, free upgrade next rental. With our experience, did he think we will be returning back? I agree with the other customers reviews. We were not impressed. Staff were not welcoming, truthful and rushed. We felt we were NOT valued, as a customer, our time and has not shown any care of the experience. We had good memories on this trip, except the car. Thank goodness we all went home safe. read more

My daughter was just in a bad car accident, we were already feeling the stress of that, but we desperately needed transportation to get around. After checking a bunch of places, we got a great price on a "small truck" through Hotwire. Truck (F150) was spacious, clean, and we got good gas mileage. Bigger than expected. Pick up was easy, and return was fast. I wanted to pay with a debit card, and they just had me bring in a current utility bill -- no hassles, no extra deposit. I've been here 3 times now in the last year, and I'll say now I'll definitely be back. First time was in February, I wanted something to drive to Vegas in, after getting a car that had a weird sound while turning (really could've been normal for the model but I didn't like it) so I stopped by and they gave me a free upgrade to a Dodge Journey. Now I was in a little economy class before, so I was worried about the gas cost for an SUV style vehicle all the way to Vegas (and back) but the assured me it gets very comparable mileage, and they were right! I cruised at 80-90 the whole way, stopped to fill it ($42) before we left, topped it off at the half way point though didn't really need to, got to Vegas with plenty in the tank. Probably could've made it back to the halfway point before filling back up but I'm not one to take chances lol. Second and third times kinda go together but needless to say I found myself in a bind due to car troubles with my own vehicle. I won't say rates here, but I did rent a car for 2 weeks (roughly) for MUCH less than what I would've paid elsewhere. Then I went to pick up my car, only to get 30 seconds down the street before something else broke (I like my old car, leave me alone lol) so I took it back to the shop (Aamco, great guys FYI) and got a lift from them back to Enterprise who were really surprised to see me. Told them the situation and I'm back out the door less than 20 mins later all set to go. And for the same rate as before which is a steal I'll say, especially since it was last second last car available lol. Thanks again guys! read more

My recent experience renting here was not the best. The service was slow, the car was not clean, and the gas tank was empty! I almost ran out of gas going to the station! Needed to rent a car for the weekend and the closest location to me didn't have the car I wanted, so this was the next closest location. When I got there, they upgraded me to a midsize (from a compact) which was awesome. Car was dirty on the inside, but the car itself was great. Upon returning the car they gave a discount for the dirty car and the ladies at the counter were super friendly and helpful. I'd rent from here again. read more

I've rented here at this location a number of times an each time I've had an excellent experience. The people are nice and their cars are in good condition. Today I came into the location to pick up my rental but I had made a mistake and accidentally made a reservation for the day after so when I realized this, the branch manager Caitlin went out of her way to help me get a car even though my reservation was for the day after. She was super courteous and definitely saved my day. Brennan walked me to my car and did the standard walk through. She was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have been renting from this location for the past couple of years, and I have had great experiences. I use the cars when I take a weekend trip and don't want to put the miles on my car. The staff is really friendly, the cars are decent so I know I will get something that matches the type I reserved, or better. They also pick you up, or drop you off and that is very easy to request as well. I like their service and that keeps me coming back to this Enterprise location - also I use coupons a lot and they always accept them and accommodate me, which doesn't always happen at other places once they have you in the door. I have had other locations tell me they don't have the upgrade available, or try to up-sell me on everything. I never feel that pressure or disappointment here, and they just seem to be easygoing and helpful people. Highly recommend!! read more

They went the extra mile! I was stuck in traffic on my way to return my rental. Since it was getting close to closing time I called ahead. The person I spoke to told me I had 10min until close. I arrived 25min later and as I was driving past the office (on the other side of the divided road before making a u-turn) I saw a car getting ready to pull out of the driveway. I figured I was out of luck, but made the u-turn and headed into the office. The manager had spotted my red Chevy cruze driving by and had waited for me! He checked in my car and took me to a body shop around the corner. Great service! read more

UPDATE I found out why I was charged $18 dollars. Make sure you read everything they make you sign. They charged me for coverage of their car, without informing me, or asking me. I just signed the paper work they gave me and that was it. Very sleazy of them to do, horrible customer service. This was for a free rental through Auto Club. The people at enterprise that picked me up and dropped me off were great and very friendly, but the person that I dropped the car off to in the morning charged me about $20 for the car, and I had to call Auto club to complain. I could have went to Budget and got a cheaper rental. Still waiting to hear back from the Auto Club on what they are going to do about this charge. If enterprise tries to keep the charge and fights me on it, I will do everything I can to discourage people from renting from them. Also, car was not clean, both inside and out, and I even found some ants crawling around inside. Another thing, gas was half full, and told me to make sure it was at least half full when I returned it, so I had to go fill it up the rest of the way. Nice waste of my time. Never again read more

I called Hertz from the repair shop and they said it would be a 30 minute wait before they can leave to come get me. We called Enterprise instead and I waited maybe 10 minutes for them to pick me up and the driver even apologized for the delay. Super friendly and nice. Steve at the front desk was super nice and friendly. They hooked me up with a really nice rental. I'm definitely converted to Enterprise for my car rental needs in the future. read more

OK I'm amending my original review of this branch based on my last rental a couple months ago. There is a new branch manager named Eric Martinez Who has made it top priority is to make sure customers are well taken care of. Besides looking at the reviews of this particular location and improving the way the office runs I noticed in particular great customers service when I was returning my rental after hours at the same time another customer showed up all the way from Texas with a bad tire and Eric stayed around to help me with my return and to offer up whatever help he could to the other gentleman whose family was dependent on a good running vehicle. All this even after hours and after he had released his staff for the evening. Well I'm happy to say I will be back again to this location and I look forward to working with Eric and his team again. Good job ! The thing about enterprise Rent-A-Car is that they keep changing out their staff so when you get to know certain staff members from last year and you come back after the summer the whole staff has been changed. There's a certain amount of rapport and trust you build up with the staff and that all gets thrown out the window when the new bunch comes in. Today I tried to rent a weekend special and have a little flexibility in helping me secure the rental and deposit as my credit card only had $150 available. But this new staff required a $200 deposit and wouldn't even budge $50 to help me get a rental, have one less car on their lot and ultimately make for good customer satisfaction. But again because they are new and have no rapport or know of my history as a renter this particular location for the last 4 years they just chose not too be helpful and I ended up walking away. No rental for me and am doubtful I'll be back. read more

Had a reservation for his location it's 2.1 miles from me they told me they would pick me up at a certain time I called back for them to confirm pick up and then they decided they were too far so they told me they can't pick me up to call another location closer to me I told the lady I talk to that they had check the distance and it was ok she then said Nooo we are not on your range call this other location it's closer to you. Enterprise picks up within a 10 mile range an I'm 2.1 miles away I don't see how was I not in there range, they have you waiting for them to change there mind it's ridiculous read more

I'm very pleased with the service I received from Justin in that branch, the quote he gave me was final and inclusive with no unexpected charges, he even dropped off the fee for returning the car at the airport location so I have a ride to my flight and refunded me the insurance fees that was added for extending another day. Worst customer service to date. Horrid customer service especially for a plus member. Lied to by the Stanton Ca manager on the phone and then treated like a smuck in person. Last rental was from enterprise..stellar service, same location. This time the manager insisted on a electric bill for my debit card I've use for years there. Ok I'm here...what do I do about that now? The last time I didn't need that. He looks it up and sure enough...not on there. He says oh well...she( the manager) was fired...I'm not getting fired. I said how does that help me now standing here? I've lived in the same place for over 20 years...not good enough for enterprise on this day, plus member, documented address, drivers licence, full insurance and valid member number IN THEIR APPLICATION. Took over an hour to pick me up 5 mins down the street and then didn't have a car for me when I got there. Promised to get me out prior to 4:30...appointment at 3:30? At 4:22 he bragged about how he was "on time" He says you can have the car you were picked up in but we need to go and clean/gas it up. I was not happy my personal time was not considered and commented that "I am not happy about how things are going can I talk to the manager. he says..."I"M THE MANAGER" He then says forget it I'm not renting you a car becasue of your attitude? I went home without a car.,.what did I do? Get into an pissing contest with a manager to spend my money? The person giving me a ride home apologized and did not understand...I don't either...other than I didn't get a car because of a jerk and lousy customer service. Everyone else at enterprise has been fine. I wanted to rent a car for 3 days with full insurance while being a plus member and expected a clean, gassed up car ready at the time of appointment. If not I should be treated fairly. I should not be punished for pointing out to the manager my displeasure with how he is running this outlet...a over aggressive manager using his AUTHORITY to summarily dismiss a plus member. The branch manager Steve Rothermel is one of the best Enterprise managers, I have come across in my history of renting cars for several years. He'll fix you right up. very friendly and got me in and out in under 10 minutes. The prices are about right, but great with the weekend deals, and he offered to upgrade my auto to fit my gigantor self for only a few more bucks per day. One particular thing I like about Steve, every time I rent a car through his office, he always educates me about the seat adjustments location, head lights switch etc (as it varies for cars) which helps a lot especially when I go for long drives. Next time I rent, I'm going back to this Enterprise location, which is easy to get to and simple to get in and out of with exceptional customer service. read more

I rented a Yaris from Enterprise for 7 Days & they did a real number on me. Since I was only going to to drive a few miles locally. I said: "least expensive car with a MINIMUM CONTRACT ... NO BELLS OR WHISTLES". i paid with my Visa card & while reading the contract in detail @ home, I found about a $115.00 dollars of extras. I went back to Enterprise to protest this cost as I DID NOT WANT ANY EXTRAS. the manager pointed out that I had initlialized 4 circles that had been drawn & i was all legal. Hmmm...orally one thing was agreed upon, with Enterprise undoing it with the circle-initial routine. These extras ran my charges from $226.72 to $$342.09 or $115.36 EXTRA! (that is a hefty 51% increase) which enhances their bottom line. HERE'S HOW THEY SCAM YOU: No matter what is agreed upon orally, the paper has the last word (so I was told). At the office, the clerks were busy - phones ringing - people coming/going - people behind you in a hurry to rent, hardly an atmosphere to read 4 paragraphs of fine print * so you are given the contract with some mumbling to initial the circles to for the extras you do not want. The contract itself while legal is difficult to understand when being hustled, so I suggest Enterprise have the fine print paragraphs with a YES or No box for the customer to check (actually the clerk should do this to follow the customer oral instructions). OTHER OBSERVATIONS: When renting a car bring along pencil, paper, calculator & envelope to record time, dates, collect business cards, etc. I think I lost about $25 on a gas overcharge, but could not prove it as I should have recorded the mileage to the nearest gas station & filled it up. This will save you from paying for any gas tank not full when you rent. Fill up just prior to retuning car. Gas gauges are not that accurate, go by fill levels. read more

I have rented from this location many times. Overall, the staff is friendly and polite. However, the last time I rented a sedan for a week, the car was still parked on the small carwash area. I was walked to the car and went thru the usual walk around to check for damages, everything was ok so I was given the keys. The minute I got in the car I noticed a bad smell. Brandon the guy helping me had already walked away. I almost got right out to see if I can get a different car, but the guy that washes the cars was already washing another car right next to me and spraying water all over. I tried to call his attention but he ignored me. I was on a time crunch to pick up my child from school and I didn't want to get wet, so I decided to just take the funky smelling car. I though maybe the smell would go away. Big mistake, I rolled down the windows as much as I could, but my child noticed the smell right away. I don't smoke nor have any friends or family that do, so it took me a while to realize that the nasty smell was smoke. I called the office and asked if I could exchange the car the next day or anytime there was one available but I was told they had nothing available. I was willing to upgrade, but I was quickly turned down! I was told to call other locations to see if they had anything available. I called the Cypress location and I was told that the Stanton location should accommodated me not them. They suggested I drive to the airport to see if they will be willing to exchange the car. I gave up! I don't think I will rent from here again. But if I do, I will make sure to ask the staff to wait until I get in the car and make sure it is not a smoked in car! read more

The dude's at this location are very disrespectful and ignorant!!! Thanks for disrespecting and treating me like I was a nobody! Terrible place I would never rent from Enterprise and especially from the staff at this location! The staff is very unpleasant and Chase is a used car sales representative.
