Sometimes life happens and right now we are caught up in that moment where we have no control. As we sit here the lobby fills up with customers needing to go vroom vroom in their rental car. Our car was supposed to be ready, but it's not. What do you do when you cannot control the situation? In today's day we wait. What else is their to do? We wait and we're supposed to be on the road right now. Are we no? Playing the waiting game is fine, but when you check in right in at 7:30, first customer and have to wait over an hour for a car they are supposedly cleaning it's tedious. Time continues to tick away and I'm sure that they are cleaning my rental. Why was it not cleaned last night? Patience is a virtue! The staff here move with purpose and are super nice. They seem non attentive to issues and time constraints that individuals have and must keep. I just sit here waiting, feeling ignored. As customer after customer are placed in their cars, remember that patience is a righteous virtue. When I have inquired with the status of the cleaning it's the same line every time. They are working on it. Yes, all of our time limits were pressed back and had to be ignored this morning due to the lateness of this rental. In the future the company needs to make sure that when customers make a reservation a few weeks in advance they do it for reasons to keep appointments ON TIME! I have been renting with Enterprise for as long as I can remember! This is the first issue that I have run across that was not attended too properly. Will I use them again, yes but at the time this was unsettling. But all happens for a reason. So let's just keep hope alive.

Both agent at airport and Caby Welsh Store Manager at Hampton Inn. Sometimes families ARE the exception (do not fit the box) WE DID NOT KNOW OUR MYSTERY CAR WAS ALM ELECTRIC- but nit even slight accommodation given for the difficulty of managing an electric car for someone with mental/developmental disabilities. The staff are very helpful. I greatly appreciated the great customer service that Carter and Camile provided. We were both in a very emotional state because of the purpose of the rental so we appreciated their helpfulness. We reserved a Corolla online intentionally so we could get good gas mileage since gas prices are so hgh right now. And the fact that we did most of the driving in California, the prices were even higher for gas. Like most rental car places they didn't have the car that we had reserved. I think this issue happens at all rental companies and it is a frustrating experience. I wish that the actual cars available are shown upon reserving. We ended up renting a Nissan Sentra which got good gas mileage as well. The car only had $20,000 miles on it so that was a plus. It was about as comfortable as it could be for an economy model. The waiting room at this location is on the small side for how many people are there. Allow extra time for pick-up. It took us 45 min. Drop off was a breeze amd only took 5 minutes. We would definitely rent from this location again.

Brandon Green is the "Branch Manager" that gave us that car. We obviously were very frustrated and not happy customers. Thankfully we were very lucky to be able to be helped by a very helpful young man in Anthem and he had a car that was available. He got us in and out and back on the road quickly. He was filling in at that location and I'm disappointed that I don't remember his name. He saved our very important day, unlike Brandon in Sun City.

However, it was delayed and give our 5 suitcases Syed offer us another car to keep us happy. I was pretty flexible in what we drove with a few exceptions (of course my girl would define it as not-flexible). Syed was vital in ensuring we got into a car quickly and one that we liked. I had rented year and years at Hertz: however decided to try Alamo. I have to say i'm Impressed. The variety of cars in the fleet was great and the key folks I spoke with were very helpful. Let me just verify this license first with my manager." What? What do you need to verify? You have cut your license so I'm not sure it's valid What are you talking about? I trimmed a millimeter off the edge of the lamination so that it would fit in my wallet. I didn't cut my license. The entire license is still there. And it's still valid. Oh, I'm sure this won't be a problem. We just like full transparency in advance with our customers. Umm, Full transparency was 2000 miles ago. Not When I'm standing at the counter to pick up my car and it's 104° outside and you're telling me you're not going to give me a car and I'm going to have to hitchhike. That is not transparency. Oh, I'm sure it won't be a problem, sir Returns from the back office. It's a problem. Manager said no. So you're telling me I cannot pick up my rental car. You have my profile. I was just here six months ago. Why was This not a problem then? Well, that agent was probably just trying to be nice to you, sir Well, I'm asking you to be nice to me one more time please. I'm far from home, don't know anybody here and need a car. Sorry, there's nothing I can do. Corporate rules. So I left and went to the Hertz counter, they had no cars available. Great. Thank God for Avis, the counter two doors down. They had a car and had no problem with my drivers license. Had Avis not had any cars available, I would've been stranded. And Alamo could not have cared less. I would say, I will never rent another car from Alamo ever again. But apparently, that's not an option.. They don't accept valid drivers licenses with trimmed edges along the edge of the lamination. Lest you think I'm leaving something out, I have since showed my license to every person I've met on this trip and told this story to (which is anybody who would listen). And they all laughed. Nobody could find anything a reasonable person would consider wrong with that license. You can bet I will never forget the Alamo. And I strongly suggest you do likewise. PS: Alamo customer service...please don't bother responding to this review. There is nothing you can say to reassure me into taking another risk like that on Alamo. It was just way too close of a call for me to ever roll those dice on you again.

The attendants at the airport were very courteous and efficient. The car performed perfectly throughout the entire time we were in Phoenix. Upon return, a superb attendant by the name of Uryia made us feel like VIPs as we brought the car back. Smile on her face, quick and thorough return, and her attitude and attention made this perhaps the best interaction with a car rental agency ever. Good on Syxt.

He said I have no cars, I can't help you. I said are you serious, he said yup. He was very smug and uncaring. So I took another Uber to Enterprise where they had 4 employees and was waited on with a smile, and guess what. A car. I paid a little more but what choice did I have. Shame on you Hertz. You will be my LAST choice going forward.
