    Everyone here is so nice! They have my car ready to go. I only wish they would always have the gas tank filled when i pick up the car

I am across the street from the Saugus location, very convenient. I called as early as 9 am to get a rental, I went through all the information and told I would be contacted. First off I thought they were dropping it off, turns out the guy was alone that day in the office and couldn't. I got a call at 3:30 asking "if I was ready?" Ready for what? we hadn't had a conversation yet on time. He asked about 4:45 then. I agreed. Now, I called at 9 in the morning and when I called I had asked for a smaller vehicle but when I went there, all they had was a huge SUV. I was at the point of tears and told him this was ridiculous and that it's been all day and the Malden location wasn't open that early when I drop my car off in the morning at the body shop. I told him this has been an absolute NIGHTMARE he said that's all he had for a car and that he was closing. So now it's dark and I'm on the side of rte 1 with a bad day and still no rental. Now I decided to do it online, you can pick the car and I can make sure I get a compact car. Instead I got a call from Jackson at the Saugus location letting me know he has no cars and if he did that he wouldn't rent to me. REALLY?? Why? if you can't deal with upset customers then you shouldn't be in the field that deals with customer. it's disgusting how I was treated and he should be FIRE. Don't go to Jackson in the Saugus location

Because of some issues on their end nothing has been straightforward, simple, or accommodating. I cannot be without a car (who can?) and I needed to rent one. I came thru the door with 100 questions, expecting more aggravation, and preparing myself for more confusion. Luckily Mackenzie was behind the counter. She was, and has been, the only one throughout this whole process that's been not only helpful, but a pleasure to deal with. Just a really good person. She had an answer for questions that she wasn't even required to have answers for! Helped us out in every way we needed. Gave me 3-5 different options on what I would like to drive off the lot, and made the entire process simple. It was one of those experiences where you leave and think to yourself "I don't need to work there to know that that place would be LOST without her!" What a valuable employee. I really hope Enterprise somehow reads this because she helped the person out in front of me just the same, and I was walking out she was already greeting the next person with the same "happy to help" cadence. Awesome. I wish her the best in whatever she does, but customer service should definitely be something she stays with!

Prices are fair and i do like the idea of them bringing you and dropping off the rental at the body shop but if you can't get anyone to answer the phone(or emails sent) in a timely manner then that feature isn't that much convenient!! UPDATE:::::::::To Michelle that responded to my original review i am currently on hold now for coming up on THIRTY MINUTES.,,,,i have pretty much memorized the pre recorded sales pitch about how you "simply treat customers the way they SHOULD be treated".......how can you "run a family owned business in a corporate world" when you won't even pick up a phone Michelle??? I was hoping for an offer of a phone number to reach you at so that I could have you email the receipt that i was promised several days ago!

My husband and I arrived at the Woburn location to pick up the vehicle. I had the print out of the reservation with me. The woman behind the desk seemed to be indifferent, didn't want to be there, etc. She asked if we wanted insurance on the vehicle, we stated no. We stated that we are using our insurance company, Allstate. She went into this rant that if anything happens to the vehicle, we will have to pay out of pocket of $5,000. She had to keep repeating that we will pay $5,000 out of pocket. I told her we are using our insurance company. Never had a problem with Allstate. She then asked if we are using their toll package, we said no. We have the EZ-pass. Once we had that all worked out, we didn't get the Toyota Corolla. The representative stated that they are all out of the cars and only have SUVs. She gave us a Chevy Equinox. She didn't want to go around the vehicle with me to see if there were any damages to the vehicle or anything. She also didn't come out to see if I had any questions about the vehicle. I was in their parking lot for a few minutes to figure out how to move the side mirrors, what side the gas tank is on, etc. Before I checked the vehicle out, she stated that if we bring the car back not clean. We would be charged for cleaning of the vehicle , which could cost between $250-$450. This was the worst rental car place to go to. This vehicle is nothing but a gas hog. We came back from our vacation and the next day I went to the car wash to have the car detailed inside and outside. My husband meet me at the Woburn location. Different person at the desk, this person no smile, no nothing. He did look at the vehicle to see if it was cleaned which it was. Gave him the keys and left. I never had any problems using my car insurance or EZ-pass with Enterprise or Hertz. Enterprise/Hertz customer service representatives are soooo much helpful than this woman was.

One person shop looked like when I was there. Easy return once I was done with the minivan and saved lots over getting it at the airport. Sadly with Sears closing...this Avis/Budget location may be closing too. I hope they find someplace else to rent from.

I thought it was just a standard greeting and started talking but then I was hit with the hold music. So I assumed it was someone saying please hold on and I'll get back to you in a few minutes or something. I wait for 15 to 20 minutes and no one returns, just the same background waiting music. I thought they were busy or something so I said I'll just go. Grabbed an uber and went there. I arrived to a sign on the door saying they'll be back at 1215 (my pickup was at 11) and to call a number posted on the flyer. I called and spoke to the same guy, again matching the voices. I said I was here for a pickup at 11 and he sounds surprised. I said I made an online reservation and was supposed to pick up at 11ish. He says I should have called because they took away most of their cars last week and he has no cars available. And then reiterated saying I should have called. I was so pissed off I didnt mention that I did call earlier but was put on hold for 20 minutes, instead just saying I paid to get an uber here and now I have to pay for one back? He just says yeah well, next time ca- I hung up before he finished. Yeah buddy, I did call but you put me on hold for a long time, I wasnt even sure i was on hold because you blabbed some incoherent words before the music started playing. How god damn annoying. I spent 30 dollars just getting an uber there and then to the next place to get a rental. No wonder they took the vehicles from here, if a dumbass like him is working here then business must be suffering. Avoid like the plague.

    Had to get a rental car when I got into an accident. They were very help and professional. My…read moreinsurance company set up an appointment to rent a car and immediately after I got an email to confirm, an employee called me to also confirm my appointment. When I arrived they asked me what kind of car I was looking for. Becuase my insurance only would pay a certain amount each day I asked for the cheapest option. They gave me a Hyundai Elantra, it was washed and cleaned before they gave me the keys and also vacuumed. They did an inspection beforehand and had me sign the appropriate waivers. The employees were very help and answered all of my questions. They told me that I had an original 5 days to use the car and they would work with my insurance to extend the rental as needed, they said that they like to take the customer out of the extend process because we have enough to deal with. After about a month my car was ready. I returned the car, no appointment or call ahead needed. They checked the car out to make sure there wasn't any damage and that the gas was filled appropriately. I also asked them to give me a ride to the dealership down the street. I only had to wait 10 minutes or so for someone to be able to drive me. They were very busy on a Thursday afternoon. The person who drove me was very polite and made conversation. She got me to the dealer safe and told me which door to go in when i got to the dealer. She was very nice. I would for sure use them again if needed!!

    I had a very pleasant and relaxing rental experience with this location. It was so much easier…read morerenting from this smaller shop than at the busy airport. The agent took time to sit in the car with me to make sure my phone connected to Apple Play and which map app worked, I tested the windshield wipers since it was raining and it squeaked so he cleaned up a different car for me quickly, I could make sure mirrors adjusted to my height. He answered all my questions and never rushed me. We were able to sit down to process the forms and pay which was more comfortable than standing at a counter and gave me a little more time to acclimate to the vehicle. The website said it doesn't allow afterhours dropoff but they said it does which was quite a relief since I wasn't sure if I'd make it back before 6pm. Afterhours Dropoff was super easy and my receipt the next morning showed that I was only charged through the dropoff day and not the next morning when their office opened. Everyone in the office was nice. Location is easy to find and drive to.
