I dont often take the time to write a review. Only when I am really moved to do so, and this experience deserved a few mins of my time. ...I was recently in an accident where the other party was at fault. Because of some issues on their end nothing has been straightforward, simple, or accommodating. I cannot be without a car (who can?) and I needed to rent one. I came thru the door with 100 questions, expecting more aggravation, and preparing myself for more confusion. Luckily Mackenzie was behind the counter. She was, and has been, the only one throughout this whole process that's been not only helpful, but a pleasure to deal with. Just a really good person. She had an answer for questions that she wasn't even required to have answers for! Helped us out in every way we needed. Gave me 3-5 different options on what I would like to drive off the lot, and made the entire process simple. It was one of those experiences where you leave and think to yourself "I don't need to work there to know that that place would be LOST without her!" What a valuable employee. I really hope Enterprise somehow reads this because she helped the person out in front of me just the same, and I was walking out she was already greeting the next person with the same "happy to help" cadence. i used to like this company but not anymore!! calling them and getting someone to pick up the damn phone is ATROCIOUS!!! You have a better chance of winning megabucks !! One of the employees i spoke to claims "we have 4 phone lines and over 500 cars in our lot",,,,perhaps investing in more phone lines instead of more cars is in order?? Prices are fair and i do like the idea of them bringing you and dropping off the rental at the body shop but if you can't get anyone to answer the phone(or emails sent) in a timely manner then that feature isn't that much convenient!! The most terrible experience I have ever had with any company in my life. NEVER get a car from here unless you have no other options. I got the car as a loaner car while my car got fixed from an accident. I picked up the car and the gas tank is almost completely on empty. Next the key fob is almost dead - it takes several clicks to get it to work and within 3 days dies right before work and since they had removed the physical key and only left Bluetooth, I was very late to work and had to replace on my own with no reimbursement. Next the service and oil change lights keep flashing from the very day I got that car. I texted in the text chain that they give you many times with zero reply and then called them. They said that that shouldn't be happening and to ignore. 2 days later the check oil light is on so I have to open the hood. Oil is practically completely empty to the point where it is not safe to drive down the street. They need to send a tow company that is taking over 2 hours to get there making me late again and I have to travel to their location to pick up a new vehicle. Finally, I needed to look up a setting in the owners manual and they put the entirely wrong year and version of the car owner manual in the glove box which is completely unsafe since it was useless. I am so disgusted by this company. And they did not reimburse me for the full tank of gas I got right before it needed to be towed. read more

I rented a car in Burlington,ma 3/2-3/23/2023. I retuned the car and over a week later they charged my credit card $224 for roadside assistance that i did not ask for and declined. They still had my credit card info over a week later? WHAT!!!!! I tried calling them and they do not pick up phone and cannot leave message. I drove over there and asked for copy of rental agreement. I realized they never gave me a copy when I rented car. They told me they don't have one but said they knew I asked for roadside assistance. I told them my car insurance covers and I did not ever agree to. My mother was on the phone with me when I was renting car. I spoke with Ashley on April 22 and she told me she will forward this to regional manager and they would be getting in touch with me in 48 hours. Nothing. On May 1 spoke with Leah and she said she will resend to regional manager and some one will get in touch with me 5-10 days. Then on May 18th, I called again and I spoke to Nicole, who said she would expedite matter too regional manager and I would hear back in 48 hours. It is now May 26. I also emailed the CEO, Head of service for enterprise, COO,about 5-6 higher ups from enterprise in April. None of the emails were returned so I know they got my message. NO ONE HAS RESPONDED I want to be reimbursed immediately. I am tired of getting the run around. The fact they can't show me a rental contract is very shady, yet they knew I wanted it? NO WAY. Where is the NO star option. My wife and I are traveling from Florida and needed to rent a car one way to drive up from Mass to Maine. We received a phone call from the Manager informing us that our car rental for tomorrow will be cancelled. I understand that there are modified hours on the Holidays (Dec 24th Xmas eve). But the option on the website was a 5:00pm up. We wouldn't have made the arrangements if we had known they close earlier at 3:00pm. My wife and explained to the Manager we were traveling not for the Holidays but do a Death in the family, my Mother. Our flight lands in Boston at 3:00pm. The Manager showed no sympathy and just fired off the hours again. We asked if we could have a family member pick it up and he the manager said no because they weren't the ones renting the vehicle. I would not recommend this rental agency/ location. My husband recently rented a car through this location via our insurance company to provide a vehicle while our car was in the shop after a not at fault accident. When my husband went to pick up the car he explained to the sales person that he needed to keep it to $30 a day TOTAL as that is what our insurance company covered. he declined all additional coverage/ add ons. The sales person used a small handheld tablet to sign the contract and snuck on an additional $25 a day charge for collision coverage that My husband did not agree to. We have insurance - insurance that was covering the rental itself. Upon returning the car he never received a receipt or any mention of a final charge on our car. It was not until A couple of weeks later when reviewing our credit card statement we were shocked to see a very large charge from enterprise on our credit card statement. When we called the local branch the local manager inaccurately insisted he asked for extra coverage when renting the car but was unable to provide a receipt. He argued with us when we explained we declined all additional coverage. We've had to escalate to corporate and are now disputing the charge with our credit card company. It seems the sales tactics here are not honest and transparent - if a customer verbally declines something it should not be added to a contract or charged. Through some research I learned that local managers are incentivized with promotions etc based on sales these of add ons - perhaps a conflict of interest for the customer. Avoid this place if you want to avoid unexpected charges for services/ things you did not want / declined. read more

I am a frequent car renter and I had my worst experience ever at the Woburn Enterprise. Emma Ghirardini, an assistant manager at Woburn Enterprise, treated me poorly and offered disgraceful customer service. They rented me a less than desirable Kia with more than 50,000 miles on it. During the rental, the plastic molding under the vehicle dislodged and was scraping along the ground. There was no incident that happened with my driving to cause this, it must have been from the accumulation of usage from previous drivers. I still needed a car for four more days so I brought it back to Woburn Enterprise. Ms. Ghirardini blamed me for the plastic molding issue and insisted on charging my insurance company. When I refused to give her my insurance information, she informed me that Enterprise was going to keep my $100 deposit. Then she refused to offer me another rental car for the additional four days that I needed it. My strong recommendation is that you NEVER use Enterprise Woburn. read more

Instead, we get a compact 2020 Corolla, and now has been a bad decision. I am a young black female and was taken advantage of by the team members. A car where the battery has died now seven times. I bought this car on June 15 for 24gs. I asked for my return trade-in four days later but they refused when I went back to try now three times and said no thanks please take this car it's not working out. Now stuck in debt with this car that continues not to start when I run to get groceries for my family. A car that will not start when I go inside to drop my son at school. I have three children that need transportation that is safe and reliable and that is not what I got from 248 Mishawum Rd Woburn, MA 01801 I left the lot knowing like an idiot the car seat was not safe sitting properly in my eyes. However, the salesman said it would be fine. I then spent money on three car seats and none fit properly in this car. It does not make sense. Moving on, if you don't wear your seat belt in the backseat and then even if no one is in the backseat they all must be plugged for the noise to stay off which is so very aggy for me and my children. NOt sure if that is how a car should be. Next, there are faulty mechanical issues and the driver can no longer put the passenger side front window down anymore. The check engine blinks on and off and the car is also not lit well inside when the doors are open. Meaning that the inside light bulb is dead. like I don't know but every problem listed except the window has been since day four. It happened after the fourth jump start for the expensive warranty I added that is who they tell me to contact when I have a problem. The problem is I want a new car. That I hope I even got because my dumb ass with three children and a dying car since the fourth day of purchase may have not called. Even three of the seven times the warranty people did show up. So this new car 2020 Toyota should not be dying every other day and cost so much even with these faulty minor aggy ass problems there should not even be one single problem because that day and today is now yesterday because it is after midnight I am still stuck with a maybe dead car in the morning. When I showed up ready to trade in they were willing to give me 8000 more in debt. When I showed up on June 15 they put me 20gs in the whole. I do think I was treated unfairly and yet taken for another fool by car salesmen. when I expected to have such a better car experience since this was the best rental car company I was using before I purchased at the time. NO, I did not buy my rental car. I just watched a video from one of my clients that was sent over to Woburn to rewrite a contract on a rental agreement and was instantly disgusted by the service Alanah Malanson a customer service/rental agent(assistant manager) at the the enterprise woburn location demonstrated towards my client and her family. She refused to re contract the rental, refused to keep the client on the same rate for the same car, threatened to call the police and reposes the vehicle if she did not call to make another payment on time and went as far as saying " I don't get payed enough" after my client told her "I need to go to work, you are at work still getting payed on the clock" along with "I would rather you rent from another company and leave now, you are taking advantage of our rates we don't even want to rent to you"...."we decide who gets a rental and who doesn't". She kept complaining to the customer about wanting to go home and having no time to deal with such things. Alanah should be retrained on how to treat clients, as well as how to not judge a client who is an enterprisePLUS Platinum longtime member based on the rate. Every individual starts with a different promotion or upgrade as far as rates and availability of vehicles not based on the mood of the store associate towards the client.I advised my client to change rental provider. Enterprise can do better I will never recommend or use the company again. Abysmally unprofessional. After speaking with Tyler this afternoon, he confirmed that he'd have a substitute vehicle clean and ready for me to pick up at the scheduled time of 1:00. I arrived, after checking in remotely through the app, at 1 minute to 1:00 p.m. After taking an Uber to collect the much-needed rental, I found myself standing at a locked door while those who seemed to be employees drove out of the parking lot despite my standing there. After spending a half an hour on the phone with customer care, there was no solution and I had to pay for an additional ride home. I've really never felt so let down. I purchased a Nissan Altima there last fall. They were so incredibly nice and polite. I can't really speak any more highly of the customer service I received there. Definitely not like most cheesy car dealers act when they see a woman walk in the room. They spoke clearly and were not pushy or creepy. And I am really liking my vehicle. I'm not sure what the other negative reviews are about. But purchasing a car coming off a lease with them is a very good experience. read more

While I've experienced excellent professionalism from the front office staff and customer service over the phone, one employee has managed to be unpleasant both times I have rented from this location. At the beginning of both rentals, I called for Enterprise to pick me up at work (about five minutes away). On the first pickup, I answered my phone promptly at the arranged time and left my workplace in search of the pickup vehicle. The employee in question had parked by the dumpsters in the back of my workplace, which took a while for me to find (particularly since the front of the building is clearly marked). Although this employee obviously didn't bother to find the entrance to the building, I thanked him for picking me up once I found the car. He growled in response, "It's part of the job." While his shortness made for a slightly awkward, silent ride to the Enterprise office, I thought no more of it. Today, when I rented from this Enterprise location for the second time, I had the misfortune of encountering the same employee. Whether by my mistake or some miscommunication, he arrived an hour before I expected to be picked-up, and I missed my pickup. Not trying to waste any more of Enterprise's time, I ended up Uber'ing to the office. While I was getting my GPS set up in my rental vehicle, I heard a loud knock at the door. The employee had opened the door of the car next to me into my rental vehicle -- hard. Making eye contact, he said "Sorry" and waved, with a smirk. He then left the open door resting on my rental vehicle for a good thirty seconds until I knocked on my window to get his attention. Obviously the employee in question doesn't value customer experience and isn't concerned about door dings! Most concerning is that I left the Enterprise office with a feeling that this employee acted out of vengefulness over a simple miscommunication. I am beyond disappointed! read more

Two weeks ago my ole reliable completely went kaput and all it took was one call to this location and Rory (the Branch manager in Woburn) was at my house with my rental within 20 minutes. At the point of rental I didn't know what was wrong with my car and how long I was going to need this rental - not a problem ma'am, I'll just touch base in a few days and see how things are going, we will just be putting a nominal charge on your card to 'hold' it until we speak again. As it turned out I decided to buy a new car, junk the old one and ended up keeping the rental for 2 weeks while I shopped. Rory touched base to see how my search was going - not pressuring me to return the rental, just touching base. I had not a single problem with the car and when it came time to return the car the drop off was a breeze and a nice young lady drove my son and I back to the house (I wish I had her card because I can't remember her name!) All in all if I ever need a rental car for whatever the reason I will be calling on Enterprise again. The customer service was perfect, the waiting room was roomy and clean, the young lady at the check out and the young lady who drove us home were eloquent and represented their company well. UPDATE: After my most recent rental, I got charged for a crack in the taillight that clearly happened from a rock getting kicked up while I was driving on the highway. I dont deny (and cannot prove) that it happened while I had the car, so I paid for it. However, it was Enterprises choice to charge me for something they said 'would be taken care of' when I talked to the rep. Yah, taken care of by ME. Thanks Enterprise, its been nice knowing ya'. i have been renting from this company for the past week or so due to circumstances out of my control until i get my current car back. now i understand that there are times when shortages happen and only have limited vehicles. 1st vehicle i had no choice which gave me back problems, but since only car they had, had no choice. a few days later a 2nd vehicle that i initially thought was a little better turned out to be even worse than the 1st..... the car was a shitbox, front wheel drive! 1st vehicle i had no choice which gave me back problems, but since only car they had, had no e choice..ot think i could afford a full fize suv at the time. which was because of the discount a fairly good price. i called a few days later and the price was doubled for the size vehicle that i desired. they said the prices can change within minutes or days, but yet there is another rental company in the same area that there prices remain the same no matter what!!! i continue to question their practices...instead of keeping the customer happy and giving them what they need, they rely on the almightly dollar. once this rental is up, i wont be doing business with them again!! they flip flop too much on their prices, every sales agent says a different price which makes it sound fishy!!! read more

I have never had such a bad experience in my life! My truck was hit so I had to get a car from enterprise which was fine but it then got a flat I called and they told me they couldn't help me I called again got someone different and she was no help at all I went to enterprise 30 minutes before they close and they told me they couldn't help me because they were closing soon. Finally I get ahold of someone who can help me and they send triple a out to fix the tire well she wants to charge me 50 dollars to have that done! Then I wake up for work in the morning and the tire he replaced is flat. I had to call out of work I called enterprise at Woburn and said I need a new car he said he would call me back I waited 2 hours and had to call them back to get the truck towed and get a new one. The guy was laughing on the phone the customer service here is horrible and I do not recommend going here. If I could give no stars I absolutely would the guy told me he would be here to give me a new truck in 30 minutes I had been an hour and they finally showed up with a truck that smelled like puke. Great service and value. I recently used the weekend special with the addition of unlimited miles. Very happy with my experience. Was picked up on time and dropped off after I returned the car. I am saving the remaining star for some type of inventory so you can see what cars are available during the days you wish to travel. It would be great to be able to see the cars prior to arriving. You could reserve the class but not the particular make or model. I also found out recently that there is a BMW X5 available for rent. I did not know this... My point exactly. This location could have easily taken my situation and made it better...making me a happy customer and not lose $ on my deal. No such luck...this location is as incompetent as many other Enterprise locations. I had rented an Enterprise car from Logan airport for 2 full weeks, but a couple days into the rental, the indicator light comes on that says the car has less than 5% oil life in the car. Knowing I would be driving the car for 2 more weeks, and traveling extensively out-of-state, I do the responsible thing...I check w/ the airport location on which "neighborhood locations" (closer to where I would be staying) I could go to to trade out for a different car. Several calls ("just ignore it", "there are no locations that have cars available", "they're closed for the holidays until next week") later, I finally get to Woburn location on a day that I should have been spending with my family. They ask me if I want to wait for the oil to be changed...excuse me?!? I'm not spending my vacation waiting for my car to be serviced...just switch out the car and send me on my way!!! I put up a stink and chew out the poor service clerk behind the desk, since it's the airport location's fault that I'm in here in the first place. He finally agrees to give me a replacement car. OK, this is more like it but I really didn't want to get mean to get service...anyway, I drive away and to my destination...when I get there, I realize the poor service clerk I was feeling sorry for had kept my driver's license. I drive all the way back, have to wait for the staffer to get off the phone, to get my license back...no more sympathy for this guy- I hate him and have a feeling he did it on purpose. In total, probably lost 2 hours of my day dealing w/ this Enterprise location. I decide to deal w/ the airport location in getting compensated for my troubles...all in all, I rented from Enterprise b/c the rates are cheaper, so I got what I paid for...mediocre service all around. read more

I have to say, I'm very upset with this location. I rent vehicles all the time all across the country through an Enterprise business account and I've never ever had an issue. Of course, the one and only time I have a personal rental due to an accident all hell breaks loose. The initial customer service was great--friendly, pleasant, all those magical things. I returned the vehicle and was told there was damage and I needed to pay $500 on the spot. They gave me the vehicle in a blizzard covered in snow and salt, so that was a bunch of BS. That being said, supposedly I am being reimbursed. Weeks have now passed and nothing. I've called twice and was told a manager would get back to me and nothing. No call back, no refund. I would never rent a car in your location customers please be careful renting a car at this location. I have car rental on my insurance but they told me that I had to put $150.00 deposit on my credit card so I did. My car was on the body shop for almost 5 weeks so I return my car rental so I make sure that my insurance pay in full that was on Saturday 2/13/2016 but my insurance was already closed so they got paid on Tuesday 2/162016 and I make sure to call them because rental enterprises has my $150.00 deposit and I need it back. So Jackie told me that I was not going to get my deposit back because of the taxes on the car rental nobody said anything about rental taxes.
