Have been to Entretapas three times now and me and my wife like it very much. The first time we went was on "date night" on a Saturday, when they had live music. The place was packed at around 10:00 PM, but we were seated quickly. We had a whole bunch of tapas that night and they were all very good. Their honey-drizzled eggplant tapa was very good and we order that every time we go back. My wife loved their tortilla española. We went for lunch one time with the kids and I ordered the lunch paella, which was also very good. Overall I have to say that Weston needed a place like this one. Something different than the usual steakhouse or Italian or Latin food. read more

Disappointed, I ordered the Seafood Paella for two and it was more of a paella for one. I showed the manager a small bowl where I and another couple in our party filled with seafood shells and she explained that the portions were correct. I hosted a lunch for fifteen at Entretapas and was very, very pleased. I made the reservation a few days before and just as I requested, lemon waters were served prior to arrivals with wooden boards nicely displaying manchego cheese and jamon serrano on each table of fours. Promptly after our party arrived, the appetizers I had ordered were brought out and they were fabulous. We had the two versions of the chorizos, one was dipped in cider and grapes, the other version in a garbanzo mix. Sangria was refreshing and a jar would serve about six full glasses...super value if you ask me. Since the paella had been pre-ordered, it came out about 15 mins later...I had ordered the regular Valenciana (seafood), and the one with chicken and chorizo for those not fond of seafood. They were both amazing. My guests were thrilled, and so was I!!! The place is super cute, features flamenco dancing on the weekends and plays coveted soccer matches on discreetly placed plasmas (does not look like a sport bar, in fact, more like a cross between an art gallery and cafe) For lunch we recommend their version of bruschettas, or perhaps their steak sandwich or potatoe omelette baguette. Paella dish for lunch is only $9 during the week and portions are big!!! You have to try this place...we had a wonderful experience. read more

We drive anywhere for good food, sometimes it's worth the drive, sometimes it's not. Last night we visited Entre Tapas. Clean looking place, not very busy for a Thursday night. At first I was a little confused as to which way to order because of the lay out but someone managed to take our order table side. Very nice people, I must say. I can't tell you that we enjoyed the food very much, very bland and kinda predictable. We ordered... Cod & Ham croquet- No one enjoyed. Not even the prince or princess who usually devour Croquets! Garbanzo Fritos- very bland and canny, like canny from a can. Patatas Bravas- descent Mussles- microwaved and poured some kinda seafood flavored broth on it. Meatballs- sauce was not that good to be honest with you. The meatballs, packaged, consistent, not bad. Morcilla- really liked that dish, presentation was beautiful and the blood sausage was tasty!! Beers! Nice and cold, have nothing to say about those :)) Service, beer and morcilla were great. I gave it two stars because of those factors but we definitely won't be driving back to Weston for this one. read more

I really like this place. I've come for lunch and dinner several times and have sampled a lot of the menu. My best bites here are definitely the berenjeras a la miel (eggplant with honey), gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), datiles con bacon (stuffed dates wrapped in bacon), and their beef filet (lunch special served with rice and eggs). If you have the time to order a paella, those are pretty good too, but not the best I've ever had. Their house salads are also good and very fresh. I also love their sangria - order by the pitcher(s) because it will magically disappear :) The service is prompt and courteous. If you come on the weekends, they have Spanish guitars and flamenco dancers which is a lot of fun. Overall, this is a solid place to enjoy authentic Spanish fare with a bit of ambience. Very good restaurant. Decor is nothing amazing, but the food is great. Nice to finally find a Spanish restaurant in Broward. The heuvos rotos was very good with well made chips topped with good ham and eggs. The gambas were just right. The house wines are good, and well priced. Corkage fee is very good, if you buy the wines sold here ($5). I will happily be back. If you like true Spanish food, do yourself a favor and go. Service was also good. read more

I don't even know where to start. Saturday night and what a horrible experience. Couldn't even check-In Because the WiFi was down. Sat at the bar they have and after 20 minutes of being there, had to finally ask the hostess if that section had a server assigned. No one had even acknowledged me... servers don't smile at all !! Finally, the hostess(Daniella) decided to be my server I guess as everyone was so busy running around with no sense of direction. It was very uncomfortable as it felt I was taking her time. She was extremely professional and took my order. I ordered the grilled octopus, doble espresso and crema Catalan. She seemed to be a little inexperienced but her great attitude and spirit to serve was bigger than having experience. Ruben then took over and brought me a glass of vinagre like Merlot. Had to send it back and he was nice to then open a new bottle for me, but a Cabernet. I got served between the hostess and a server but honestly, the hostess did a lot more than the server. Tapas are SMALL Spanish savory dishes, typically served with drinks at a bar. I studied in Spain so I know how they should be prepared. I like tapas restaurants because I can order many tapas and taste different foods from meat to fish to veggies tapas. Well, it's impossible at Entretapas. The tapa portions are huge feeding at least 3 people and are super expensive. Because the tapas cost the same as entrees we ordered an octopus entree. On top of that the quality of the food is poor. The octopus was chewy and tasteless. The chick peas with chistorra were very salty, like they came from a can. Very disappointing experience. We should have looked at the menu before going there. The performers were passionate and talented and also kind enough to see that my young son was riveted and generously brought him up on stage to participate. I have visited this place several times however, today October 13, 2017, has been the worst experience I could ever have in a restaurant, we were set down immediately and we received our tapas pretty fast in other words our appetizers, we then placed an order for paella seafood which takes 40 minutes, since it was Friday night we said we would stay around and watch the show that they have on Fridays, so we didn't care to wait 40 minutes. The chef came to our table about half an hour later and told us you should have your Paella soon, we then waited and waited and waited for about 20 more minutes and I noticed the table that was in front of me, the waitress went to the kitchen and bought back a paella, our waitress then saw that table eating and asked the waitress from the table why? and what happen? then she came to our table our waitress and explain that we would be getting ours in a couple more minutes, we proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes and we called her over she said, give her a couple more minutes please, and it would be done , we then canceled the order and asked for the check, I must say I have never been treated in a restaurant the way that I was treated in this restaurant, let me tell you we go out to eat a lot in restaurants and never has that ever happened.. read more

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I, unfortunately, had a bad experience. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen but the service was really slow and every meal was brought out one at a time and we had to wait a long time for everyone's meal to be brought out. There were hardly any people in the restaurant so I was really surprised at the length of time it took for our entrees. We also ordered the Garbanzons con chistorra and it came out more like a soup rather than chickpeas and sausage with a little bit of sauce. One of the entrees we ordered was the grilled snapper and it came out rubbery and hard to cut, so we had to send it back. The second time it came out was better but was still rubbery on the ends. I ordered the grilled calamari which was tasty but it was two really small cutlets for $17.99. That is way overpriced for the size of the calamari you get. This is not the kind of dining experience I expected from such a highly rated restaurant. The 2 pros I will give the restaurant are the food we did order was tasty and the decor was really nice. read more

Went last night and service was beyond slow. We ordered coffee and the end of our dinner and some of it didn't even show up. No big deal but 40 minutes after I order a desert is unreal. Went last year around same time and service was fantastic but since they have a live show it's like nobody wants to work they only want to stand around and watch it and clap. Not sure what happened with this Spanish restaurant. I remember when they first opened and the food was good. Nothing was authentic about the food last night 12/23/17. The patatas bravas were raw and not prepared as they should be. Other items were a poor excuse for Spanish food. The menu items are very misleading. We know Spanish food well as we lived in Madrid. We don't expect the same but this was a very long stretch! I raised a concern about the potatoes being raw and they discounted the dish a few dollars instead of taking it off of our check. After reading recent Yelp reviews, my wife who wanted to try a tapas restaurant decided that we should try this establishment. Since we were visiting the Weston area on vacation, we weren't sure how to find this place. Using our GPS we still drove by this restaurant at least twice before we realized that this nondescript strip mall location was the actual restaurant. Place was pretty empty at 7pm when we arrived. After we were seated, my first reaction was to leave after I noticed the prices. Almost $9 for a small bowl of gazpacho? Since we wanted to try some tapas, we decided to try it anyway. Well the soup tasted like it came from a can. Should have left then, but we decided that maybe that was an exception. We then ordered the paella. Next mistake. The rice tasted like the microwave rice you can buy at the grocery store. The chicken and pork in the paella came in dry cubes that had to be washed down with a drink in order to swallow. Lastly as we were leaving, we asked for our food to be placed into a take home container( not sure why). Well our waitress, Nancy I think gave us a plastic bag and a styrofoam container for us to place our leftovers into. Apparently she couldn't be bothered to do it for us even after my wife and I had already spent $100. Well some of our food ended up on my clothes as I was transferring to the container. Ruined my shirt and pants. As we walked by a garbage can by our hotel, we dumped our leftovers into it. Music was good though. read more

The service and the atmosphere are nice. That's about it. The breaded shrimp we ordered as appetizers were terrible: they were dripping oil and the breading was soft and fluffy. We peeled off the breading so that we could eat the shrimp. The paella we ordered was nothing but a disappointment. The clams and mussels were so overcooked and chewy that it reminded me of chewing gum - since I felt it would be inapproriate to spit out the food, I tried to swallow it and felt like choking. No one came to ask us if the food was fine. When the lady eventually came to take our plates, I complained her about the food. She didn't respond in any way - no apologies, no refunds, nothing. We had waited over half an hour for the perfect paella that we never got. We went to another restaurant right after this experience to finish our meal. read more

I came here for the first time last night (Saturday) and my experience was wonderful from start to finish. It was crowded but my friend and I got seated promptly at a table towards the front, where we found out there would be a live show. Our waitress was extremely helpful with our wine selection, and she did a great job with refilling each time our glasses were empty. She brought us fresh warm bread with olive oil and it was very soft and delicious. We ordered the seafood paella which was more than enough for two people to share. The food was delicious, very flavorful and the seafood was fresh. For dessert I had the passion fruit mousse which was such a delight - it's honestly the most delicious thing I've had in such a long time, I highly recommend it! We had cortaditos after dessert which was also very good. The service here is exceptional, all the waiters are very attentive and an empty dish is never left on your table for very long. Now let's talk about the live show - the singer, the guitarist and the dancer were also so talented and in sync with one another. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to them and they created such a wonderful ambiance. It was a wonderful experience to have live Spanish background music while enjoying such delicious food. Overall, I had a really great experience at Entretapas and although it was my first visit, it certainly won't be my last. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! read more
