I purchased a Ford Blue Certified 2024 Bronco from Envision Ford of Duarte. I like the vehicle, but the post-sale experience has been extremely disappointing. The vehicle was delivered with only one key (not disclosed until after the sale), missing front floor mats, a missing owner's manual, severely underinflated tires, incorrect window open/close indexing, and a broken soft top. The soft top had severe wind noise immediately after purchase, and the tension cables were broken and disconnected. For a nearly $50,000 certified pre-owned Ford, I expected the vehicle to be properly inspected and prepared before delivery. If they missed this it makes you really question their certification process. After reporting these concerns, I received no meaningful follow-up or resolution from the selling dealer. I also asked about the Ford Blue Certified satisfaction buyback/return policy and did not receive any response. I had a very concerning experience with a service technician named Tony at Envision Ford of Duarte. Over the phone, Tony told me a component under the dash needed to be replaced for around $1,700. What immediately didn't add up was that he also claimed diagnostics couldn't be performed--yet he was already recommending a major repair. That contradiction alone raised a red flag. When I came in, I asked him to show me exactly what he was referring to. He couldn't clearly demonstrate or justify the issue. I then asked for my keys and was able to start the vehicle without any problem, which directly contradicted what I had been told. Despite this, he still attempted to charge me a diagnostic fee--even though he had already said diagnostics couldn't be performed. What made the situation worse was that even after being confronted, he pivoted and tried to upsell me on key fob programming, which felt like an attempt to recover revenue after the original claim didn't hold up. There was no acknowledgment or accountability. As someone who works in a trade, I value honesty and transparency. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. Despite this written instruction, the dealership failed to do so. When I returned to inspect the vehicle, no one could explain why the written instructions had been ignored. More concerning, the dealership was unable to produce the original parts that had been removed from my vehicle. The only explanation I received was that they "didn't have them." More than three weeks later, I still have no answers about what happened to my property or why the instructions on the repair order were not followed. California Business and Professions Code § 9884.10 requires repair dealers to return replaced parts to the customer upon request, subject to certain exceptions. Based on my experience, the dealership has been unable to account for the original parts that were removed from my vehicle after I specifically requested they be returned. In the same service visit, I also brought the vehicle in for an air conditioning concern. After two visits, the dealership technicians stated they could not identify a problem, despite the cabin temperature remaining above 80°F after the air conditioner had been running for more than 30 minutes. Rather than investigating further, they dismissed the concern without resolving it. Finally, the dealership charges customers a credit card processing fee on repair invoices. Considering that many automotive repairs cost thousands of dollars, this adds a significant and unnecessary expense for customers. My experience was marked by poor attention to written instructions, a lack of accountability for customer property, unresolved repair concerns, and additional fees that diminish the overall customer experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Envision Ford for service. read more

The service has really diminished. They didn't detect cloudy coolant until a recall repair (which I had to bring the car back for because they weren't prepared to do it during the 60000 service which was four weeks before). No ride home was available and no loaner was offered. I will be taking all non-service plan services to another shop. If you have to take your car to Envision Ford, ask for Tony as service advisor. My wife has had her car serviced at Envision Ford Duarte since we purchased it in 2018. During her most recent service visit, she was told the vehicle needed new brakes. The estimate was more than $900 for all four wheels. That recommendation did not seem right because Bear Frame and Wheel in Covina had completed a brake job on the vehicle less than three months earlier. We took the vehicle back to Bear for a second opinion. They removed all four tires, inspected the rotors and pads, and told us the brakes were in good condition and should last for several more years. Because of this experience, I no longer trust service Envision Ford Duarte recommendations. Once a business gives my wife or me information that appears to be dishonest, I will not do business with that company again. It is disappointing that they tried to charge my wife for work that did not appear to be needed. read more

Just how I like my salesmen. I would 100% recommend coming here if you know what you want and when someone who's going to give it to you straight. Without jeopardizing customer service. Justin was one of the best salesman I've ever worked with! He was incredibly friendly, patient, accommodating, and worked his hardest to get me the best deal. I knew I wanted a Bronco for my next car. I spent several weeks researching different models, packages, etc. and even made a spreadsheet keeping track of all the available offers across various local dealerships. I had a tight budget, but Justin got me exactly what I was looking for at a price that no one else could beat. There was even a point where we'd hashed out all the numbers but I wanted to take a look at some of their other inventory last minute. A lot of guys would have gotten annoyed at my indecisiveness / going back and forth, but not Justin. He was always happy to put in any extra effort just to provide me just a little more peace of mind. He was very transparent with how the numbers worked on both their end and my end, which helped me know that I was getting a great deal and wasn't being taken advantage of. A lot of car salesmen can be a bit sleazy or put on a fake smile just to make a sale. I never got that vibe from him, he was a genuinely nice dude. I honestly think this location's philosophy is: "For every vehicle that comes here, we need to try to extract minimum $1000 out of them!" Every single time i have gone there for a $100 oil change the final bill was always over $1000 for other "stuff" that was strongly recommended with all the add-ons they try to push. And when they can't come up with legit items requiring repair, they make stuff up. This has happened to me twice now within the last 6 months. 6 months ago they said I needed a new battery. I declined that $600 expense. Brought it to 2 different autozones and they each checked it and said the battery is fine. That was 6 months ago. The latest was 2 months ago where they said I needed new brakes all the way around. Had it at an independent shop to have the brakes done and he said absolutely I do not need new brakes. I have 7mm on the front and 8mm on the rear. Does this place have any self-awareness? Do they monitor comments on this site? I bought 5 vehicles from Advantage Ford & Lincoln since 2003 which is now Envision Ford & Lincoln. I have always purchased all-inclusive bumper-to-bumper Premium Maintenance Plan just to avoid exactly what will happen to me for the first time in 22 years. The service advisor slapped a wheel alignment and fuel treatment charge on my routine service at merely 10,000 miles calling them recommended serviced by Ford Lincoln. For the first time ever, I was told that there will be additional charges which I brushed it off and assumed it will be removed and covered by the service plan. Boy was I wrong. They are certainly not included in the sea of items that covers by the comprehensive service plan. And many Google and Yelp reviews indicated that I am not alone. Things certainly changed after Envision took over Advantage. I don't blame the service advisor; I feel bad for him actually. For anyone with good conscience but had to follow the corporate order and KPI just to stay on payroll can be frustrating. I am sharing my experience with hope that it will realize this cannot be a long-term good business practice. In the meantime, I will take my business elsewhere that values customer with honesty and integrity. read more

I called Vision Ford Duarte looking for a 2025 Ranger raptor. I spoke to a sales person who said they had the raptor I was looking for because I texted him a window sticker. He then spoke to me and found out I did not want to pay over retail price. He said he would go back to management and ask if we could make a deal. I told him that I had a deal in Northern California for the same truck at MSRP and proved it to him by texting him the offer and the window sticker. He called me back an hour or so later and said he had spoken to the general manager David and that we had a deal at MSRP plus some markup for paint sealant or something which I agreed. I asked him to send me a breakdown of all the cost for that vehicle so we could come to a contractual agreement. I then got a text message from another sales person named Amy, who said she wanted to talk to me to understand my offer. I wrote her back and said what do you mean I already have an agreement? I'm just waiting for the itemized breakdown. I then got a call from the sales manager who said you do understand market conditions, right? And I said are you trying to renegotiate the deal now after I have an agreement? He said he was gonna call me back but never did. I then reached out to the original sales person and asked him why people were calling me and renegotiating a deal he already made with me. I asked him did you not get approval from the GM like you said you did when you called me? He said I made a mistake and they're giving you MSRP on 801 raptor which I don't understand what that means, but I said, but you have to honor what you agreed with me on. I asked for the name and phone number general manager, which he gave. I then called David, the general manager And said here's the deal. Explain the whole situation and he said I can't do it because I paid 3000 over MSRP to buy that truck from another location to bring in my dealership so I can sell it to people over retail. I said there's no way you paid 3000 over MSRP come on. He said are you calling me a liar? My response was your dealership lied to me and told me I had a deal but wouldn't put it in writing. He said well I'm choosing to not do business with you. So he now has to suffer the consequences of a yelp review which is 100% exactly accurate and I can prove it through all my text messages And I'm happy to speak to anyone about the situation. This one star review stands and it clearly accurately reflects how this dealership does business. read more

BEWARE! Took my Ford Focus in for a transmission issue: check engine code P07A3, which indicates an issue with the clutch A (1st, 3rd, 5th gears) sticking. Asked for a diagnostic only, including Clutch A and B wear percentages from FDRS test, etc to understand if the entire transmission is truly shot or just needs cleaning at best or minor repair at worst. They knew this when accepting to provide a diagnostic ($250) as I printed out the list of numbers I wanted (and know is shown in their software scan; FDRS or IDS at a minimum). The first thing they did after looking at the car was send me a report saying the entire transmission needs tearing down and repairing ($6k). Based on what, exactly? When I called to say I am not making any repairs until they provide the diagnostic numbers, they lied and said they would have to tear down ($2k) the entire transmission to get me those numbers. This is patently untrue. They would have run the FDRS to get those numbers - if they didn't, they are completely incompetent (if they want to own that label instead - go for it!). What does the D in FDRS stand for? DIAGNOSTIC - that's what I went in for, what I am paying for, and they refused to give it to me, making up BS excuses. Surely if the transmission was truly shot they would gladly show me those numbers to prove it needs the repair and they could win the work? The fact that they didn't give me those numbers and were literally squirming making up excuses why they couldn't made me confident that it was actually only a minor repair needed, and I could probably handle myself. I spent $20 at O'Reilly buying a 7mm socket, a can of parts cleaner and a spray can of lubricant. Took 20 whole minutes of my time removing the Actuator A, cleaning and lubricating, replacing and clearing the check engine light. Test drove yesterday on surface streets, issue gone. Tested at highway speeds today, smoother than ever. This place is an absolute rip off. AVOID THEM! read more

I've been coming here for years and always had a good experience. Took my car in for what ended up being rodent damage to my wires. Had it fixed (as well as a $150! oil change). $960 later, they of course found other things wrong adding up to $1800. Luckily I took my car elsewhere and had it done for MUCH less. But when I opened the hood, it was so dirty (see picture). For the $960 spent, you'd think they would have taken 5 seconds to blow everything out and clean it. I don't know how this review showed up under San Francisco, because I live in Claremont California The battery on my Lincoln MDX Hybrid was dead. AAA did not have the replacement and after calling a couple places, I found out it was out of stock at other places as well. Called Envision Ford in Duarte and they said they had it in stock. When I asked how much it would be they said $234 and asked if I wanted an appointment to have it installed. My car is idling in the driveway after AAA left, so I said yes. When I got there, they told me the price would be $495.00 because the car would need to be reset and it would be difficult. As a 75 year old female undergoing cancer treatment, the last thing I needed was to be stuck trying to find another place to have a battery installed, and not knowing the details of the reset procedures, I told them to go ahead. After the fact, I found out the reset to Factory setting is done by letting the car idle or driven for about 15 minutes. Who would think that a 5 minute battery change and idling for a few minutes would run an additional $300? No wonder their service department is not busy. I recently purchased a F250 Diesel truck from Envision. They matched the 10% off MSRP pricing I had been quoted at 2 other dealerships. The only reason I drove here is because they had the vehicle I wanted in stock. I signed paperwork and made arrangements to take delivery of the truck a week later as I was leaving on vacation. The salesman did a solid job negotiating on my behalf with the GM to make an end of month deal. He wasn't working that day and said he'd made arrangements for the truck to be ready for me when I got there. When I went to pick the truck up it was nowhere to be found. We sat waiting patiently as the sales team ate Tacos. I had some docs to go over with the finance manager and he quoted me more than double for the extended factory warranty. I declined and purchased it $1500 cheaper online through Flood Ford (Google them!). We waited an additional 45 minutes for them to find the truck and bring it out and there were scratches on every panel. I couldn't take delivery of it in this state. I had travelled an hour to pick it up via Uber. I asked for the GM immediately. The GM Juan was rude at first and rather than introducing himself he began saying in an aggressive manner that "There's no money left on this deal!" "Ill unwind the deal And take it back!" ETC... Almost like a guilt trip. I wasn't looking for money I just wanted it remedied and the truck delivered in a proper state for a new $83k vehicle. We finally settled on a hopeful fix to the problem. He loaned us a vehicle to use to go eat lunch while the truck was being repaired. An hour and a half later we got a text from my original salesman not on site saying the truck was ready. When we went back to the dealer my fill in salesman was gone, and when the requested for Juan the GM to come up front we waited another 20 minutes and he never bothered to go over the repairs with me and take final delivery. The paged him numerous times and he never came out. I went over to the sales manager tower and asked for the keys to my new truck and just left. I have never felt more unwanted or unappreciated at an auto dealership before as a customer. I was made to feel as if I was being done a burdensome favor by them. Yes, I got a good deal. Aside from the price, having the vehicle I wanted, and enjoying my initial salesman Mike the rest of the experience was awful and a huge waste of time. The dealership is inefficient and they use predatory addons in financing. The whole process after the initial negotiation was terrible. I'd never buy another vehicle again from them. read more

Last week we dropped off our Bronco for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon arrival, we were told a 60,000 mile service would be needed in the next 1000 miles and it would cost us $1500. We agreed but changed our minds within a 15 minutes of leaving the service shop. We called the service office immediately, and left a multiple message requesting to stop service and call us. We never heard back. We continued to call 8 more times between 8am and 2pm. We left messages with both the operator and on answering machines. We never received a phone call back. A little after 2pm, I was able to go to Envision Ford. Upon arrival, I was told the manager and the service rep., who originally helped us, were un-available. No-one knew when they would be back. I found out, the 60,000 mile service was completed against our repeated requests not to do the work. They gave us a small discount to try and smooth things over. But they still charged us over $1300. Both in person and over the phone, I requested that the service manager call us. To this date, no one has returned our request. The lack of communication and customer service during this ordeal is appalling. I have worked with other Ford dealerships and I have never been treated in this manner. Wait time for service is horrible. They had me wait 5 hours for an oil change that I had an appointment for! I thought maybe it was a one time thing and I should give them another chance, so a few months later I went back the next time my car needed service. My expedition is a 2018 and needed something fixed that was covered under the warranty. I was told it would take a week, but after 2 weeks it still wasn't done. They have now had my car for 3 weeks, no loaner car and "maybe" it will be done next week. - but they told me that last week. Don't take your car here for service! I went to Envision Ford to have the transmission fluid changed on my 2018 Ford F150. I dropped it off on 2/10/25 and picked it up the same day. Because I live out of state and was flying back to Arizona the next day and needed it done. I didn't question the cost figuring it would be somewhere in the $300 range and I just needed my vehicle back before flying home. Once I went to pick up my vehicle, my service advisor Edgar informed me that the cost would run $517 for the service. So I paid the bill with some hesitation about the amount but paid it because I was in a time crunch! Once back in Arizona, I called my local Ford dealership to see what they charged for the exact same service and they quoted me $300 plus tax. Once back in California, I called Edgar and questioned him why the price discrepancies between two Ford dealerships and his response was " all Ford dealerships are franchises and that they try to stay competitive with other dealerships in the area". So I reached out to the Ford dealership in Montebello and they quoted me $300 plus tax! I always assumed Ford has an industry standard for repair hours to perform repairs performed on your vehicle which is consistent with the two other dealerships I called. So in conclusion, I'm not expecting them to credit my account for over billing me but if you do take your vehicle to Envision Ford for repairs, do your due diligence and call other dealerships first! read more

A week later I call to see if the traded vehicle has been paid and cleared and the finance company tells me nobody has contacted them to pay off the traded vehicle. I have a Lincoln Corsair and when purchasing the vehicle they said if I ever needed a loaner they would but me in something of same value. Instead they gave me a loaner that is way less value than my vehicle and to top it off it the loaner smelled like CIGARETTES. So when I called he said he can't give me something I "LIKE". Then after telling him about the cigarette smell he had the nerve to ask if I can bring it back after telling him I have ASTHMA and how my son almost had an Asthma attack. Diagnostic Fee $$$, I made an appointment to take my car in to have them check out 2 issues. When I confirmed the appointment the young lady let me know there was a 250$ diagnostic fee, which would be applied to the service. I was ok with that. But when I dropped off the car and mentioned the 2 issues they wanted to change me 500$. The rep told me it was 250$ a problem. That does not sound right to me. I happened to be in Monrovia when my skid plate came loose and was dragging below my car. I had recently had an oil leak repaired at another dealership a few weeks ago. I pulled into the service center for the first time around 12:30pm on a weekday. I was helped by Marco who was very nice and said a lot of the staff were at lunch if I could leave the car. I told him I was just passing through and couldn't wait too long. He said he would look at it and see what he can do. I waited not even 15 min and he pulled my car up with the skid plate bolted back in. After a rough day, this was the best news I could get. Thank you Marco!
