I went in today and was taken care of by Leilaney. My hair walking in was super grown out blonde and in desperate need of love. I wanted a change and she was so amazing and so helpful. I wanted a chocolate brown, some money pieces (but not too much), face framing layers, and a trim of my dead ends. I cannot recommend Leilaney enough. She helped me to navigate what I would like and what to do for the longest lasting effect on my hair. I have a ton of new growth after having my baby and she was able to help integrate all of my hair all together to make it look as pretty as possible. My hair looks and feels so healthy. After recently moving to the area, I needed to find a new hair salon. I don't get my haircut often as I have worn it long for a long time, but I wanted a change. I went here for a pretty simple cut- I wanted to cut off quite a bit of length (probably 4-5"), but wanted suggestions on how to style it since I wasn't used to having short hair. The stylist was helpful, honest about what would work with my hair type, and in the end I got a beautiful cut that made me feel so confident. It was excellent service, a clean salon, and the prices are so reasonable for the service. I was worried that I would pay for an overpriced Newport salon, but that wasn't the case at all! I had high hopes for this location since it's a spa with services proceed higher than neighboring salons, and the nail service reviews were good. Unfortunately, they did not live up to expectations. The owner was sympathetic and refunded the entire bill when I called to express my concerns and share my experience with her. Considering that there are not many reviews for Envy's nail services, I felt compelled to share my experience with my nail technician. The pedicure was good, save for the gel polish application. Most of my toenails were only half covered, and some of the cuticles were flooded with product. Most of my complaints are with the gel extension manicure. The work station was dirty and unorganized, the tools unsanitized, and the e-file bits were dirty and kept in a dust-filled box. The gel extensions themselves were poorly prepped, shaped, and started lifting off my nails later that same evening. I did not have them painted, so I can't speak for her skills in that avenue. I have no idea whether or not my nail tech was having an off day, but I won't be returning to find out. I did appreciate the level of customer service provided by the spa owner. She was quite cordial and understanding. read more

New to the area and decided that I wanted to chop off my long hair and do a long bob with layers, and a soft ombre. I asked around what salons are good and decently priced. I have been going to the same hair stylist for the past 9 years in vegas and absolutely loved her, I was devastated when I knew I had to find someone else. I decided to try Envy after many recommendations and saw Shannon, she was fantastic. I told her what I wanted and showed her pics of the hair style I was aiming for. I also told her that I needed her to be absolutely honest with what she thought about the haircut and if it matched my facial structure or if it would work with my type of hair texture. I've been to other stylist that told me what I wanted to hear and I ended up hating the cut/style. Needless to say she was honest, friendly, personable and a joy to sit with for my time there. 5he salon was very clean and easy to find. We tried this salon out today. I waited last minute to get my sons hair done for school pictures which I entirely blame on myself. I read reviews on here and thought, why not try it out, looks good except for 1 review. The place looked nice upon entering and I went to the desk to state that we had arrived for my sons appointment. The hair dresser was ready for us upon entering. I showed pictures of past cuts of my sons hair and explained what I was looking for and how he wears it daily in 2 different ways. She suggested feathering the bangs. I was fine with that since he wears it pushed towards the front & off to the side. I was taking care of my 2 year old, hence why I couldn't stand there and watch. However, I shouldn't have to anyway. Needless to say, he came out with it styled off to the side with product in it. Initially, I thought it looked wonderful. We returned home and due to playing and running around the product wore out and I saw the uneven bangs right away. The 2 pics below show them. I called the salon around 1pm 2x, no answer- left a message. Waited 30 mins, called back and got someone to answer. I explained my issue with the cut. They told me to come back in to have it fixed by the original stylist, so that was fine. What I was now bothered about was that I had to wake my 2 year old up from his nap to go get it fixed when it should have been done right the first time. I understand people make mistakes but the bangs were quite bad. When we entered, the stylist told me it was bc she feathered the bangs. However, I sent a picture of his hair to "my" stylist and she disagreed that the bangs shouldn't look so uneven, even with fathering. ‍ I don't know, I'm not a stylist. Just food for thought. I will repeat, I did explain that my son wears his hair in 2 ways SO if it does do that, don't cut the hair in that method. In the end, I was happy to have it fixed- shown below in one of the pics BUT perturbed that I had to go back a second time & wake my son out of his nap to do so. I wouldn't say I will be returning but they handled the situation well. read more

I went in for an ombré, high contrast. I was very exited and out all my trust in this hair salon. I was assured that I would have someone great with doing ombré. All I have to say is that if you have black hair and are going for an ombré, to find another place. I left with my hair being brassy and three different colors including brown, blonde, grey, and some parts that were never bleached at all. The line was very harsh and the bleach was not properly applied and was very sloppy. I got comments about how I should get my hair fixed, it was that bad. I contacted the owner and they had me go back again to fix my hair, however all they did was reapply bleach to all the previously bleached areas and made the situation worst. I left the salon crying with fried, gross, frizzy hair. I thanked them for their efforts and went to Natural Creations where they fixed and treated my hair perfectly and I am now happy with my results. I am very upset about the damage this hair salon caused my hair. Do not go to this salon to get an ombré if you have black hair, I suggest you invest in a very good salon because you don't want to end up with weak stringy hair after having long, black and very healthy hair. I payed $110 for a horrible ombré and $180 more to have my hair treated and fixed. Wish I had gone to Natural Creations instead. read more
