It was hard for me to leave my stylist of over 8 years, but I trusted in Catarina's work ethic & artistic ability, and can say I'm exceptionally happy here!! The salon is efficient and uses top of the line hair products- both in their services and are available for purchase! All the other stylists are friendly and just make the whole experience relaxed and welcoming! Patricia is a super customer service person and is warm and welcoming upon arrival- always with a smile... know because her eyes - she's always wearing her mask! I cannot say enough about my New cut - Brazilian Blow Out & root touch up!! Makes me smile it's really so easy to care for, even after the salon , it blow dries this easily! My issue is with the owner who charged me $95 for a "last minute cancellation" because I called the morning of appointment REALLY sick with the flu. I had previously booked my appointment several days earlier. However, Miguel cancelled it because he was sick. My son visited him the next day and then got very sick (maybe from Miguel, maybe from our flight, who knows), then I got sick, tested positive for covid and looked like this picture. I can't imagine I would have even been allowed to come in with a fever and serious flu symptoms; so being over-charged for a simple cut and dry is very frustrating. I really hate to write this review, because I look forward to going to Miguel every time, but we won't be going back, unless the funds are refunded. I called 3 times and was very clear about the situation, and apparently the owner, Karen, would prefer to lose 5 clients, for a great stylist, than refund a sick client.

And those CHAIRS while they wash your hair! haha i love when my hair is washed but then i realized the chair was massaging me - heaven. make up was also great. i let her know i never wear makeup and she did great, it was just what i wanted. i got compliments all night long! Keep in mind they are very strict with their cancellation rule! i made an appt for my cousin for the same day and she was in a car accident and couldnt make it so they charged me for her appt that was not going to be used, makeup and lashes application - $80.

I HAD very long curly hair in a "U" shape (so I felt confident she could cut curly hair). I went into specific detail that I wanted to cut 4-5 inches of dead hair off but keep as much length as I could and the same style (U- shape), with long bangs for when I straighten it. I had pictures, and we talked about a plan for about 10 minutes before she started cutting. The first cut was a straight cut at my shoulders. She didn't keep the shape or length; she just chopped 12+ inches off like it was nothing. Once she realized she messed up, she tried to cut the top half of my hair longer to hide her mistake and then straightened my hair with a curling iron like it was 1995 still. Two weeks later after hating the way my hair looked I booked an appointment at another salon and the guy there fixed my botched hair and even mentioned he could see her first cut and how she tried to cover it up. Never go here if you're on a long hair journey. I am forced to start over. In fact, just avoid this salon if you can.
