This is my 5/6th time dining in since the new owner had taken over. I walk in nobody was there but I was seated quickly. The young server she has glasses and is a black queen named Lisha welcomed me with a warm smile had my water at my table within 30 seconds of me sitting down. Which is needed when you're in Vegas heat. She answered any questions and gave great suggestions. She suggested the calamari it was amazing also the signature ramen spice lever 3 was good. Ribs were falling off the bone. I did wish they had beer that would have been amazing with my ramen. Dessert menu should be a little more but the fried ice cream sounded good maybe next time. She did give me a scoop of ice cream cause it was my birthday. Oh I also did get the sushi roll she did great into talking me into getting it haha. I would say 5/5 everything was great. I would say besides the food the server made me want to come back. If you guys go in see if you can get her as your server she's amazing I would say tip her good but they share tips and her work ethic is to good to let someone steal her tip or she only gets half. I told her I may be back to book a party of 20 but she has to be there and take my party and I will figure out how to tip only just her for that. I'll be calling soon, and to leave a side note she didn't even know I was having a bad day my birthday was not a good and just her presence i ended up leaving with a smile and I was beyond grateful. Whoever the manager is give that girl a raise she will keep the customers just by her aura her smile and her customer service is out of this world. The other servers are great to just not her (sorry) oh and to add I seen some saying no alcohol I did find out this recent visit they will be adding some and rebranding for a grand opening. Definitely a downgrade from our last visit 3 months ago should have seen the sign we came here for lunch today and we were came to an empty restaurant. The lunch specials they had went up to $10.99 just FYI came to find out at the end of our disappointing meal that they are under a new ownership which made sense why the quality went down, I guess the original owner opened up a new spot in California and sold this place end of June this year. I ordered the chicken katsu bento box for $14.00 and husband ordered the tonkatsu ramen lunch special level 4 spicy, bento box presentation is nice came w a lot but my katsu arrived on the cold side so definitely not fried fresh, sushi is not fresh it was a bit mushy, the side of sweet pork was dry and chewy the rest was just ok also my bento box arrived 5 mins after my husband got his ramen by the way. Husband's ramen tasted like a bland watery ramen and it wasn't even the level 4 spicy. I barely ate my food it was unsatisfying I didn't even had it in me to take it to go. The recipe definitely changed even though the server said it's the same,don't get me wrong the server was nice and friendly but let's just say this would be the last time we are coming back here. Also they should throw they're bowls that has chips on it it's very unprofessional that you are serving food w that. On top of it they charge you a fee now for not paying in cash. We were the first ones in the restaurant. There was one server and one cook, and only a couple of other two-person tables while we were there. The service was friendly, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to our expectations. Most of the dishes were pretty bland. The katsu chicken was the standout and the only item I really enjoyed. They have a lunch special from 11am to 3pm with several options for $10.99. One thing to note is that there aren't any printed menus...you order using a QR code at the table. We started with the takoyaki. It came out piping hot with a light, fluffy center and two nice-sized pieces of octopus in each ball. The texture was great, but it was missing the flavor I was hoping for. The bento box was a good size for $14 Tonkatsu fell short on flavor. Inside smelt like bleach and overall looked tidied up, but the women's restroom was horrible. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The restaurant appeared unsanitary, which became even more concerning when I discovered the women's restroom was flooding while we were dining. As a pregnant customer, cleanliness and safety are especially important to me. Service was also extremely disorganized. My boyfriend received his meal before my mother and I received any food. About 20 minutes later, his appetizer was finally brought out--after he had already started eating. When I asked about the bento boxes for my mother and me, I was simply told, "Yeah," with no explanation or update. Another 10 minutes passed with no food. By that point, my boyfriend was nearly finished with his meal. After seeing the condition of the restroom and experiencing the delays, the staff suddenly attempted to rush our food out. However, we had lost confidence in the cleanliness of the establishment and declined the meals. The most disappointing part was the staff's attitude. They were not welcoming, apologetic, or attentive throughout the entire experience. Based on the unsanitary conditions, poor service, and lack of professionalism, I believe the establishment should be evaluated by the appropriate health authorities. Currently my new fave spot. Their menu is extensive, and it took us a good minute to choose. They have sushi, ramen, rice dishes, appetizers. I ultimately chose the bento box, since I wanted to try a few different things. And that was a good move. For only 16 dollars, it came with spicy pork, a piece of gyoza, takoyaki, chicken skewer, 4 pcs of california roll, salad, and rice. It also came with miso soup. What a steal! Everything on that plate was amazing, especially the takoyaki. My friend got tonkatsu and corn cheese. Loved the corn cheese but the serving size was too small. Just a heads up: the Katsu is served with sauce on top. It was unexpected. The menu didn't say anything, there were no ingredients or info listed. The picture also didn't show that. We stopped in for dinner. We liked the causal dining room, the cherry blossom trees, the neon signs, it is spacious, clean and we especially liked the music playlist playing in the restaurant. They have a lot of items to choose from on the menu such as Ramen, Ramen Toppings, Bento Boxes, Katsu Menu, Curry Menu, Appetizers, Salads, selected Sushi Rolls, Premium Baby Back Ribs in different kinds of marinade, Special Dishes, Ramen Combo Special, etc. Our server Cristiano was nice. We didn't get much water refills as we would like being that it was not very busy. Good 3 1/2 stars! Wifey & I wasn't feeling a buffet that night for dinner but wanted something kinda down home feeling to eat. What's more comforting than a bowl of noodles or something with rice? To Enza we go! On a weekend evening Enza was fairly slow, maybe only 2-3 other tables of families were dining. By the time we got seated and ordered, there was only one other table dining along with us. Ah, was it maybe the state of the economy? Not sure. One thing I did notice though right off the bat upon entering the restaurant was a bit of a chemical smell near the front door area. Stronger than I'd expect but thankfully it didn't really reach us where we were seated. Menu looks pretty good with a nice variety of things! We wanted rice & noodles so got: -Ramen Combo Special ($15) - Tonkatsu Ramen and a side of Chicken Katsu (additional $5) -Katsu Sando Special ($6) - Chicken -Bento Box ($16) - Tonkatsu It didn't take very long for entrees to arrive to our table, approximately 20 minutes. First thing that came out was some picked radishes as a side dish, tasty little appetizer that gets the taste buds going! Tried out the Katsu Sando first. Bread was a bit cold but still plenty fluffy. Wish the katsu in the sandwich was thicker, seemed kind of thin. Katsu itself was good but there was a bit too much mayo for our liking. Wifey did like her Tonkatsu Ramen even if the broth was on the saltier side. Noodles were good & springy and came with a nice serving of pork belly on top. The side of Chicken Katsu was good but not one of her favorites because they added a white mayo-based sauce on top. The katsu sauce would have been enough, the additional sauce made the chicken katsu soggy unfortunately. I enjoyed the presentation of the bento, in an actual bento box! So fun! Hearty serving with the tonkatsu, a chicken yakitori stick, half a California Roll, salad, a bed of rice, and a couple other dishes. I love tonkatsu with a good serving of shredded cabbage for a hit of texture! Good eats in my bento box. Overall, a decent meal at Enza. Just maybe a bit thicker on the protein portion in the chicken katsu and tonkatsu, and less of the mayo sauce for us personally would have been better. Enza has been in this new location for about a year now, and there are good things, but some areas where they definitely need improvement. It's a larger space than where they used to be on Stephanie, and they still haven't gotten their liquor license, so although they have signs for beer and soju, we couldn't get any. They also don't have a soda fountain, so only serve soft drinks from cans (no hot green tea either). For some reason, they also discontinued their Happy Hour specials, along with several of the more popular appetizers. The food is still great, though. I had the signature Enza Special ramen, with the pork ribs, and it was as good as I remember. Their fried calamari appetizer is also great; light and crispy, served with a slightly sweet horseradish dip. The Fried Spicy Udon is also a winner, with a slightly sweet taste of kochujang. You can order up to 5 levels of spice heat for any of their ramen or noodle dishes, too. Service tonight was a little slow; probably because there was only one server for the entire room. We came here for the udon noodle that was advertised on its menu for five dollars. But when we got there and ordered it for my son, they said they no luck offered the five dollar coupon and the only other options were the Ramen and the Bento boxes from the lunch special. That's why we gave it four instead of five stars. We came there for the five dollar udon, which is my son's favorite food so he was having a hard time figuring out what to eat because he's really picky. But they worked it out and gave us the side of the noodles, we just put soy sauce on it. he wouldn't eat the Ramen noodle and in order to get the Ramen broth we would've had to order a $12 noodle that would've been too big for him so now we know for the future. As for the adults, we all got the dental boxes which were really big size and had lots of stuff and the food was pretty good. Nothing to complain about! But a lot of food to give thumbs up for. I would go back here again and just come prepared to order something different for my son or pack him lunch because he doesn't eat a ton of other Japanese food. As for the service, it was good. The ambience was also great quiet and calm when we went so that was nice not have to fight a crowd or listen to a lot of people chatting the whole lunch. I randomly found Enza advertising on social media. So my husband and I went for lunch date and ordered Black noodle, Bulgogie rice and Seafood Ramen. While waiting for our food my hubby wanted to playnw/kiosk unfortunately it didn't work. Instead it played scenery videos but menu ordering wasn't functional. After foods arrived my black noodle was alright but there wasn't any much ingredients in it. Just noodle, corn and black sauce. No meat or seafood just plain noodle and black sauce. Bulgogie rice was good but a little sweet for my taste but still good. My husband ordered Seafood Ramen but he said it was too blend. We ordered Lychee Flan for dessert. I think this was way too pricey for ramen and a soda. $40 after taxes and tip and they don't serve alcohol even though they have beer on their signage outside. If you don't serve alcohol, then don't advertise outside that there might be alcohol inside. $3.50 for a can of soda is just ridiculous. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen ($14) and the broth was rich and full of flavor, the noodles had the perfect chew, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. We'll just order what we were going to order anyway (but maybe update the menus to reflect that). Went to pick up the order. It was already packed and ready behind the counter. Paid then left. When I got home, I realized they got our sushi order wrong. We ordered the Enza special roll 2 and got the Superman roll instead. Idk how those two things sounded like each other to get mixed up but somehow it did. Now this is when I'm thinking okay, docked a star for inaccuracy. Then the food. Along with the Enza roll 2 that we didn't get, we ordered the Batman roll, spicy miso ramen, and tonkotsu ramen. The ramens were alright. Nothing amazing. I could get these ramen bowls at other places. The sushi was below average. I didn't know the Batman roll was tempura deep fried but the batter wasn't crispy. And the seafood wasn't fresh. I definitely enjoyed eating at Enzo because it is so close to my friend's home and I love good katsu! That said, this place is worth trying! Their katsu sandos were amazing! I also got to try they're curry. The place is average in size, but the seating is spacious and that's what matters most to me! The service was great as our server was very friendly and great at providing recommendations to their menu. They have had several specials come and go and the only reason I'm not giving the fifth star as it seems the menu has gone through changes and still trying to find a bit of solid ground. What a beautiful place to sit down and feed my curry addiction. Enza has a certain energy and decor that makes me feel like I'm in a little market in Japan. The place is photogenic as well as the foods presentation hits all the marks. Speaking of the food, the curry was good and the ramen was great! The katsu chicken for the curry was exceptional but it's the curry I had a bit of an issue with. It looked beautiful but there seemed to be a lack of flavor. I didn't get that umami / savory punch. The curry tasted more like a gravy. Maybe it's a personal preference or an off batch, but I usually like my curry with a bit more flavor. I'm being a bit more critical since the curry was about $18. The ramen we ordered was amazing. But before that, someone who wasn't our server brought out another ramen which was cold and not what we ordered. So that caused a bit of confusion. When we got what we ordered I was about to full body dive into it. The flavor, the garnish, and the full chicken thigh hit all the spots. I'll be fair and say that the food is great however the service was very disappointing especially for a new restaurant. To start off, they are advertising buy one get one free on their social medias. We mentioned the offer to the server and she said "yes! It applies to any of the ramens." There was no disclaimer or mentioning at this point that the deal was only applicable to one free ramen per check. We also ordered 2 sushi rolls as well. When it was time to pay- not only did they initially forget to take the promo off the tab. Once she brought the revised bill with the promo applied only 1 of the 4 ramens were taken off the bill. The employees then stated it was only one free ramen per table allowed. However there is no fine print at all on the advertisement, nor a disclaimer from the staff when ordering that there's a limitation to only one per tab. Not to mention, for a party of 5 there is already an auto gratuity added. (We had 4 adults and 1 child). None of their menus mention auto gratuity or anywhere that is written. Already being an upset customer, there was no efforts to try and resolve a solution. The staff then left me without even trying to close my bill. I had to walk to the register and was ignored until someone came up and said "oh you want to close up here?".. I had to because clearly no one wanted to help close my tab for me to leave. It's a bummer because we truly did enjoy the food, however charging people without them knowing and not being clear with these fees are seriously wrong & unethical.
