Went twice- one time they ran out of eggplant. I don't know if that means they never have it and just said they ran out or actually ran out. Transparency would be good. Second time I went and it was listed as open 10am on a Monday. Called and went immediately to no answer. Showed up and said closed today on a sign. Very inconvenient. People show up, they should set their voice message to closed today but they don't so people like me waste their time driving back and forth 20 minutes. I hope you enjoy your day off but would appreciate if you respected my time too. This is one of my pet peeves with small businesses. Fantastic old school deli/pizza spot where Enzo works the counter and kitchen. I went with the meatball parm based on earlier reviews and it didn't disappoint. Just a couple of stools to eat inside but there's also a couple of tables outside. Looking forward to returning to try a pie. read more

I had some stuffed breads from here a few months back and they have been on my mind ever since. Enzo's is a perfect, simple and no frills deli that delivers. It's an old school Italian deli with a simple menu and outrageously good flavor. My meatballs sub was one of the best I've had. It was clear that the meatballs and sauce were homemade to perfection. Every bite was delicious and reminded me of subs I used to have years ago! Enzo's has a few other selections prepped and ready to go like eggplant parm and they offer deli sandwiches as well. My only complaint it that I wish they were open later then 5 pm so I could stop here after work during the week. Parking is easy as well, mainly on both sides of the building. Stopped here on my way to Boston. This area needs some more Yelpin' yo! So, sort of a whole in the wall pizza place but we decided to give it a whirl and it was solid. No pizza here only sandwiches for my party. The deli meat is Boars Head, the mutz was freshly made, the bread was good and the sandwich hero was large and in charge for like $7 or whatever it was. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions type place. No fancy items like avocado or shenanigans like that that could have potentially made this sammy a five star sandwich. The place had a bathroom you could use but it was in the way back, had to walk through the bathroom type styz. Place was a wee bit grimey but in an old school pizza place type way. Overall, I'd stop here again for a mean meaty sandwich that keeps it real. Nothing too special about this place but again, solidly good and I was full all day! read more

Just stopped in on a whim but I enjoyed the quick service. I always drove by this place but never really stopped in. Glad I did. All I wanted was a slice of pizza and it was good but also took a menu to possibly try other options next time. The menu has plenty of sandwich options as well as other cooked meals. This week I had good quality Salisbury steak which was amazingly tasty. I also saw fresh slices of gooey cheese pizza, so I asked for grilled vegetables and fresh garlic to be added to a slice. I was given a side of fresh garlic! The pizza was mouth watering good! My only complaint is, it's 9pm and they're closed. Would love another slice right now! read more

We live up the street from this place and have ordered takeout several times. Food is always great, good value. My son has been frequenting it even more than the rest of us, and Enzo is always so good to him. Once I stopped in to thank him for treating the neighborhood kids so kindly and he was so humble he didn't even want to accept a tip, but of all people he deserves one. They have the best meatballs in Fairfield, their porketta is amazing (when they make it) and stock Boar's Head deli meats. Great breakfast sandwiches too! Its located nex my gym so the location is perfect with a lot of parking space. I order the chicken and bacon wrap and my friend order the hot dog with chilli and it was sooo fresh and it tasted perfect. I will def go to this place again. Everything is home made and fresh. read more

I stopped in today to grab lunch, and had the antipasto salad. It was my first time there. Enzo had smiled at me as I was parking my car, and made me feel welcome as soon as I came through the door. The shop is a little neighborhood deli, with a couple of seats by the window and some tables outside, nothing fancy. It's easy to access from I-95. He has a good selection of sandwiches (both hot and cold), pizzas, and a few salads, and also serves breakfast. From what I could see, he also attracts some loyal, regular customers. The prices were very reasonable. As mentioned before, he serves Boar's Head meats and cheeses. My salad was good. Enzo took the time to introduce himself to me, and exchanged pleasantries with all of the customers. I'm sure I'll go back, because I like patronizing local shops and restaurants where the owner makes me feel welcome and lets me know that he appreciates my business. read more
