New owners. Pizza is still good, has great sauce and undercarriage. Maybe the pizza is better than the old Vinny's. I recommend the sausage on the pizza, it has great flavor and texture and isn't too oily. Garlic knots are really good too with some real garlic on top. Only thing I don't recommend is the pistachio flavored gelato. It has a really bad artificial flavor and I didn't like it at all. It actually tastes just like a jar of pistachio cream butter I had purchased from Costco and actually leaves a similar thick residue on the spoon when you eat it. It's also the same color, a brownish green. They didn't have hazelnut in stock otherwise I would have gotten that flavor. read more

Change is hard, I get it. Especially when you have something you like/love going away or changing into something different. I've been to Vinny's twice since the change in ownership and this past time you couldn't tell anything changed in terms of the pizza. The looks, smell and taste of this pie is exactly what I remember of the old Vinny's and I hope it's here to stay. Normal size pie, perfect crust, sauce and taste were definitely the old Vinny's. While I miss the run down interior they definitely freshened the place up. Some solo tables and small booths as they seem to be gearing more towards the takeout vibe. I can't speak to the dinner specials and options on the menu yet, but this pizza will keep me coming back to remember the old place. read more

I grew up in the area and ate here quite a bit. Haven't been here in about 20 years! My brother, Mom and I decided to go check it out. It's crazy how long this place has been around! Same staff and cooks, so awesome. Place looks exactly the same lol The service was great! Such a sweet and attentive lady. We ordered salad, mozzarella, and 2 pizzas. A New Chapter for Vinny's - Still Feels Like Home The minute we pulled up to the new face of Vinny's, I felt a mix of excitement and hesitation. This place has been like home to me for as long as I can remember--I've been coming here since I was born. So, when I heard there were new owners, I couldn't help but wonder if it would still have the same heart and soul that made it special. Walking in, the familiar warmth was still there, but with a fresh energy. The updates to the space were noticeable but tasteful, keeping the cozy, welcoming atmosphere intact. The owner and staff were nothing but kind, welcoming and wanting to make their customers happy. Badran and Adel were SO nice, and immediately greeted us like family, instantly putting my worries to rest. I love them! Then came the true test--the food. I'm happy to say that the classic dishes I've loved for years are still just as delicious. The pizza was spot on and happy to report my meatballs were how I always remembered them. I have always loved Vinny, Fernanda Dominic and Sandra! The new owners have clearly taken care to preserve the recipes and flavors that made Vinny's a staple, while also adding some thoughtful new touches to the menu. What I can say is change is never easy, especially when it comes to a place so deeply tied to memories. But after this visit, I can confidently say that Vinny's is in good hands. The inside of the restaurant looks like it hasn't changed much since 1974 when it first opened: wood paneling and a vintage Michelob sign are just a couple of the dated items that you'll see once you enter. Booths are small and the interior probably seats 50 patrons comfortably. The meatball grinder looks like a steal at $6.50 but it comes out with about 2.5 meatballs drizzled in cheese on a smaller sized toasted roll. I had to order a second side order of meatballs for an extra $2.30 just to feel full. Their calamari has appearances that make it look like crispy onion rings. It's a decent enough no frills pizza joint: don't expect specials or an extended dessert menu. The cheesecake came out both warm and cold at the same time, meaning it was likely frozen beforehand, and it was given a quick microwave treatment first - an ineffective attempt to prolly thaw it first before it came out of the kitchen. read more

Great place to stop in for lunch. Food is good and prices are even better. I paid $14 for 2 slices and a sausage grinder. They've been in business since 1971 and nothing seems to have changed since then lol that actually adds to its charm. Interior remodeled, no waitresses, but pizza was delivered to the table owner gave us fried dough to try. It was also excellent. In my view, although not the old Vinny's, the pizza was just as good. While the place is a throwback to the days of slanted wood and mirror paneling (think Burger King in the 70s), it's fortunate that the pizza and prices are good. The small pie is enough for two. The toppings are plentiful. The pie isn't loaded with sauce, which I like, and it's thin crust, which I love. The down side is that my pie's bottom wasn't done enough (still a bit on the doughy side). I suspect this is due to the fact that the service is brusque and in a bit of a hurry. They also aren't the friendliest at the takeout counter: gruff, barely two words, do not say how much is being charged, and do not say "thank you." Having grown up in Bridgeport, I can say with every confidence that while Vinny's pizza is one of the better pizza places in town, it's not THE best. I've had either just as good or better. I wouldn't say don't go here, but do know there are other authentic Italian pizzerias in the Park City worthy of your patronage, ones who offer service with a smile. read more

My rating is only based on takeout of a large sausage pizza. The pie was very good. Not too saucy and plenty of quality homemade sausage (no fatty chunks or gristle), not greasy whatsoever. The crust is thin and could have used another minute in the oven as there weren't any leopard spots on the bottom. And you cannot beat the price ($14.22)! The man who took my order at the takeout window (Vinny?) was super nice even though they were super busy on a Friday night. They didnt have any takeout menus to grab so I don't know prices for other dishes but will definitely add this place to my list of top pizza places! read more

Although assured everything was the same the fresh mushrooms on my pizza were a great improvement over the old ones. Additionally the salad had a much appreciated "new" mix of greens. The house dressing tasted better not sure why, but it was waaay better. I've been going to Vinny's since 1973 and from the new remodel to the better tasting food, diehards will still love it and if you haven't been there in a while I encourage you to go back, you won't be disappointed. If Roseland's an 8.6 according to Dave Portnoy the "new" Vinny's is a solid 8.5 as rated by me. read more

There was something for everyone Samira got her own cheese pizza, well half a cheese and the other half went to Lilah and wash pepperoni. Laura ordered the white pizza with garlic and broccoli. cathie got the eggplant Parmesan. we started off the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly fried loops of calamari to what our whistle. Yes the waitress brought out two loaves of fresh baked bread with the butter underneath, so that it was the perfect temperature to apply on the outside of the loaf as Csira enjoyed it peace by piece, and claimed one of the loaves for herself after playing a hockey game. They brought the check and I could not believe how affordable it was for this magical dinner for four which included an appetizer drinks all around and then we went ahead and added on the dream dessert, which included cheesecake and chocolate mousse. UPDATE: I went back which makes my third time here. I upped my star rating to a four because honestly? These folks know how to make pizza. They also know how to make really good chicken dishes and the whole atmosphere is one of local cozy warmth. They deserve more then a three. So I have now had their pizza, both by the slice and a pie. It is spectacular. Also great are their dinners. Brought a friend here and she was wild about it too. Staff are quite warm here. Every time we go we like it a bit more. This is a place we have gradually become really fond of and we will be back, (more then once) as I have not had a bad meal there yet. read more

I'll admit that the neighborhood appears to be run-down and this is very much a hole-in-the-wall, but I'm so glad that we didn't let that deter us from eating here.
