If anything, they may have been too fast because they told us 20 minutes and it was already pretty cool when we picked it up 20 minutes later. But it was delicious. The crust is a nice chewy medium-thickness. It didn't seem weighed down in grease. The large is served with square pieces, which was nice because the pizza we ordered (Veg Out) had tons of toppings. I work as a Nurse at the Durham VA Medical Center and I ordered wings today. The wings were horrible!!! I threw them away, could not eat the wings, and see the chicken hair was still on them. Half of them were burnt, and the other half weren't cooked!!! Huh ??? Nasty!!! I called to complain and the manager said bring them back!! Huh??? But I had them delivered and I don't even park here at the VA they make us park somewhere else and catch a shuttle to The hospital. So this man wants me to catch the shuttle to get my car and then drive back the opposite way of my home!!! I get off work at 430 I don't make it to my car until 5 and i have to make it to my daughter's daycare by 530. The nerve of him. I got a taste of the tres amigos (with chicken instead of steak) and loved it. I accepted that I do, in fact, love pizza here and have never looked back. My boyfriend was actually the person who convinced me to give Enzo's a try one day. One thing led to another and we were pretty frequently calling for delivery and sharing a pie. Ever since I left Durham I have looked for a pizza place that could satisfy me in the same way Enzo's did. I have had a few good late night flings but nothing has really come close to the perfection of Enzo's pizza. If you have a chance to get a piece of Enzo's, I say go for it. I reiterated that they offer curbside on their website, and I was rudely told by the associate that "well, there is only one of me, so you can either come in and pick it up or you can wait until I become less busy." Not the best pizza in Durham but to my knowledge the best one that delivers. Solid crust (crispy and slightly buttery) + creative toppings = Very good pizza. I also ordered Enzo's wings, which are oven-baked as opposed to fried. They're smaller than most restaurant wings and lighter. The BBQ sauce had a pleasant sweetness to it. Wasn't thrilled with the blue cheese sauce though, hard to really taste the cheese there. Enzo's Tres Amigos pizza is one of the best pizza delivery options out there. Combines green tomato sauce with steak, pico de gallo, avocados and cilantro. Delicious. Bonus points for allowing you to combine two pizza flavors per pie, even for a small pizza size. read more

Ok, before I even begin my review, you must know: YOU CAN ASK THEM TO SLICE IT LIKE A REGULAR PIZZA. Just ask. They will totally do it. You could probably ask them to top your pizza with meatball subs, they'll do it. Enzo's is staffed by humans. Humans can do things. Especially humans at a non-chain, high quality pizza place. Ok, to the pizza. I haven't had the subs/salads, but the pizza and wings are legit. The crust is nothing to start a revolution over (it's crispier/toastier than Papa Johns). The real reason to go here is the toppings. All the meat is boar's head and all the veggies have a nice fresh crunch to them (when they're supposed to). They even have some pretty non-traditional toppings like avocado and garlic. It's a creative pizza joint. There is a price markup for the quality, but you can always go to Dominos, or better yet a garbage dumpster if you want a real bargain. The wings are quality too. They don't do frozen pre-made wings, which is surprising for a pizza joint. And the little cinnamon dumpling things are addicting. Delivery guys are dependable if you're not ordering during extra busy hours (Friday night, forget about getting anything delivered from anywhere in under 40 minutes).
