One star for the Lynchburg Blue cocktail - delicious. One star for the fried green tomatoes- perfect. I ordered a Cobb salad and the lettuce was brown and slimy. I complained and the waitress just shrugged and said sorry. No offer to take it off the check or comp a dessert. My husband and I ordered a banana pudding to go and guess what - no bananas. Odd. Eat here only if you're too lazy to leave the hotel. read more

Last August 30, 2018 my husband and I had dinner at EP's Bar & Grill. We just had Memphis Greens salad. The salad serving was big! It's a good idea that we just shared the salad. We have been coming several times a year since the opening of the hotel in October 2016. We've always been somewhat satisfied, service has improved over the years, and the expanded menu is much better. It is kind of pricey, but we expect that with it being in the hotel. Very convenient for hotel guests, and great atmosphere. I'll keep coming back. read more

I've decided to give my review 7 months later because this place was just disappointing 2 stars food was OK i was already so mad about the terrible service that i didn't care about my food anymore still ate tho why? because we were so hungry right after a 6 hour drive from new Orleans to Memphis from checking in and getting settled in our room decided to come to the EP Bar and Grill i had planned this trip for a whole year and it wasn't what i envisioned so i walk in ask for a table for two she says OK well its gonna take about 30 minutes to seat you so i said OK within a minute they change there mind tells us they have a table outside so we take it we go out and it was pretty boring all the fun was inside it was karaoke night so i decided to just wait walking back in the host told me we can sit up at the bar i said OK so we sit me and my husband order a drink i see people walking in to the restaurant and getting seated right away so at this point I'm getting mad already saw two families getting seated after me and I'm at the bar i see a perfectly good table by the bar with food still there but empty so i ask if they can clean it up so i can have the table......they clean it up after they were done the people that were sitting there come back to a clean table with there food gone idk if there was any food left so i tell the host to find me a table while i wait at the bar 5 minutes later she gets me a table we get seated and no waiter ever came by i already had a drink so i didn't worry about ordering drinks 15 minutes later and no waiter i ask the host for a waiter she says OK let me get you one again 10 minutes later and no waiter i ask the host again she says oh they didn't come by and I'm already mad and start talking crap so the host takes my order the waiter comes told him the host took the order and he asked her and we realized she forgot to put it in well let me tell you i was on my third drink an hour later by the time i got my food still ate here food was eh i was mad to even care for it......it was late at night totally forgot there was a restaurant at the hotel i would've walked out of this grill didn't tip anyone but the bar lady she was so nice and gave me a complimentary drink for all my troubles and that took my blues away ;) after that i had decided to just let it go nothing was gonna ruin my night at Graceland read more

We enjoyed a very delicious and fun brunch here on a recent trip to Memphis. It's inside the "Guesthouse" at Graceland. The menu had some very interesting things on it like peanut butter and banana sandwiches, fried green tomatoes, special hamburgers, pulled pork and a variety of other things. Loved the so-called french fries! They were awesome, had a little different shape very crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside ...so good. We had the burgers and the pulled pork which were all very good. For appetizers, we had the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. We also had the spinach/artichoke dip.. served with deep fried pita bread chips.The bread was off the chain!I would drive to Memphis right now for another one. Service was very good but nothing to write home about. There were a lot of interesting points to the meal like that's the burgers were served inside of a metal guitar shaped basket which I thought was very cool and of course just the general ambience of the whole thing was Elvis After the meal were able to meander around the hotel area. All was Very Elvis-esque. While the food was great...go,there for the ambiance! It is pricey to park there but you can get it validated if you buy 20.00 or so. read more

I would like to start off by stating this is a late post! I do apologize to the staff I was unable to get it in sooner ! I recently visited the Guesthouse on a business meeting! I must say our waiter Alexis was extremely friendly! Our order came out very fast! The food was delicious and we never asked for anything! Ex: Our server had napkins,silverware,and refills ready! She as well introduced us to a new blueberry cocktail that I will come back to get again! I must say well done Ep's the management definitely taught the severs how to take care of the guest! This is a very nice bar and grill. And I definitely recommend trying it. I did ding the bar a star but I assure you it's not for the food. To start, the bar is located in the lower level of the hotel, The Guest House. Pretty easy to find. As I pull up to the security gate, a nice gentleman is already waiting to greet me. After he shows me where to park, I quickly find that I have to pay $10 just to park here to get lunch. Because lunch already cost me $10 without even tasting anything, I dinged them a half star. Once I get to the foyer, I begin asking employees where the EP bar is. They were very courteous, however, they pointed me to the other side of the hotel where there was not bar. (For the record, go right once you enter the foyer). I dinged them another half star due to lack informing employees Now onto the good stuff. I ordered a southwest chicken wrap with a side salad. The wrap was savory and spicy. The side salad was crisp and fresh with shaved cheese. The service was prompt and the food came out quickly. I couldn't as for anything more from the bar itself. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. If you don't mind pay the $10 parking, I highly recommend trying this place out. read more

Very disappointed. Came with a group. Decided to do a light dinner at the EP bar and grill. First problem l, a standard whiskey they are out of. Was fair, switched to wine. Service was fine to start, but the end was horrible. We asked for refills and after 25 minutes (not as crowded as when we came in) no service. Asked the waitress about our drinks and said she would take care of it. I see her with 2 wine glasses, thinking one was mine and no, 2 guys next to us get the drinks. My husband flipped, the waitress tried to put this back on us and the bar manager argued and finally took of part of the food bill Very disappointed how problems were handled l, especially since we were part of a group of almost 40 people. Simple customer service is lacking anymore, even in a high end place like Graceland. read more

Overpriced, not a great selection and not really tasty. I ordered the Catfish Po Boy and my wife the pulled pork bar-b-que. Bar-b-que was somewhat tasty, albeit overly sweet and the fried onions were pathetic. My catfish was large but way too salty (so much it burned my tongue). The French fries were strangly shaped and pale. We had asked for them tio be well-done and crisp. When we mentioned it to our waitress, she asked "did you want them burnt?" No, just done a shade above our tan. She never changed anything. The po boy advertised it had house pickles on it. None to. be found. These two sandwiches and one glass of tea was $36. Before tip, which I admit was small. Our waitress didn't know what artificial sweetener was until I specifically said Sweet and Low. Somebody opened the outside door, letting in flies. The place was crowded but that was because it rained and nobody seemed to want t leave the hotel. Not a good experience. Of course, the hotel room only had a room service menu in it and no mention of the two places to eat in the hotel. The hotel only opened in October 2016. They still have a lot to learn. read more

I just ate at EP's Bar ad Grill and I am not pleased at all. The servers are rude. I tried to call my order in to pick it up but no one would answer the phone. Not too long after that I walk in the restaurant to place my order to find servers standing and looking around. I did not understand how my call was missed. I purchased a Caesar salad with shrimp. They charge an extra $7.00 to add shrimp, which is fine. What is not fine is paying $7.00 for 3 shrimp on a huge salad. I asked for more shrimp and they told me I had to pay another $7.00 for 3 more shrimp. Needless to say they will never be getting my business again and I would suggest anyone else not to waste their time and money. read more

Overpriced, service very lacking. The service is VERY lacking in this restaurant, they are super slow (even when the restaurant is near empty), and they are overpriced. This afternoon at 3pm (Wed, 2/14/18) I walked into the restaurant. One couple were in a booth, already eating, two people were at the bar just having drinks. I waited at the podium next to the "Please Wait to be Seated" signed. Nobody came. I finally walked in a little further, saw a bartender at the bar, hunched over the counter looking at something, her back to the room. I said "Hi." She turned around and asked if she could help me. I said, "I'd like to be seated please." She said, "Huh?" I repeated myself. She came around through a back door and came through the main entrance, then asked if I needed a menu. I said "Yes, please." (I noticed what she was hunched over reading when I walked in was her smartphone sitting on the back bar.) She grabbed a menu, took 3 steps and was about to lead me further into the restaurant to a table, but I asked if I could be seated at a booth, pointing to one. She handed me the menu instead and told me to go sit at the booth. After my order was finally taken (The Delta Burger), she eventually brought my lemonade, however it took around 45 minutes to get my meal! Since I noticed there was no bottle of ketchup on the table, while placing my order I asked for some ketchup for the fries. When I received the order, the fries were barely warm, and they included a handful of ketchup packets in the platter. Needless to say, once your fingers are all slippery with that super messy burger, it's near impossible to open the ketchup packets! What near-"classy" place serves a meal with ketchup PACKETS??? Not once did the bartender/waitress come back to check if everything was ok during my meal, or if I needed a drink refill (I eventually did need a refill), I finally got up and walked to the bar. She was there and the male manager was as well, making a drink for one of the 2 people at the bar. The lady bartender/waitress asked me what I needed. I said, "When I received my meal, the fries were barely warm. May I have some hot fries, please? Also, do you have a bottle of ketchup? The packets are impossible to open when your fingers are slippery from the burger." The manager jumped in and was very gracious, said he'll get right on it. Surprisingly, it only took a few minutes to get the hot fries, and a bottle of ketchup that he was wiping off as he delivered the fries. That was the last I saw of anybody until after my meal was finished for at least 10 minutes. It was still a near-empty restaurant. The bartender/waitress finally came to my table asking if I needed a lemonade refill! I said, "No thanks, but I would like my check please." She brought it. By now it was 4:30pm!! An hour and a half in the restaurant when there were a total of 4 other people in the entire restaurant when I walked in! (Just as I was about to leave a party of 7 walked in. I'm sure it probably took an hour for them to get their food!) Usually I give a 20% tip IF it's great service, 15% if it's good, but I only gave a 10% tip this time, and wrote an explanation on the back of the check as to WHY only a 10% tip was given! I figured it was better that THEY know immediately what the problem was (as if they haven't recognized the problem already... since it's always painfully slow service there even when it's not busy... including on Monday evening, 2/12/18, and the previous times I've been there in the past in 2017), than only putting a negative review on Yelp or their FB page. read more

Terrible service. Food edible. Dirty table and booth. A terrible start to our Elvis experience. Waited several minutes for a server. Brought us the wrong drinks, came back with the right drinks and didn't show up again until a half hour later with our appetizer and food. Finished eating and waited for several minutes for our server to come back, so we could ask for the check. Took her several more minutes to bring it to us. We paid cash and left. I would not recommend you eat here. We were so turned off by this restaurant there is no way we're going to even try the more expensive Delta's kitchen. read more

My husband sat in the lounge at 5:30 on a Saturday and no one approached him. I finally met him and decided to walk to the bar to leave my order. There were 4-5 servers congregating in the back corner and the manager had to she's one to help me. I placed my order, sat back down, received my order and had to go back to the bar to have someone give us our bill that was outrageously over priced. Would not recommend.
