HORRIBLE experience. Found a 2024 Genesis G80 for sale for $39,995 that I loved at the dealership. I thought great! That's when it went bad fast. Spoke to the salesman and told him I wanted to buy it. He said okay it $47,439! I said what, why so high? HIDDEN FEES, they call it the "EPIC Package" for $2995 which is essentially a spray on car wax and a gps to track their cars inventory and you! I said I didn't see that in the advertised price, they said you have to pay it, even if you don't want it. California Vehicle Code Section 11713.1(e) specifically states that advertised vehicles must be sold at or below the advertised price, regardless of whether the purchaser was aware of the advertisement. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE Without a Third-Party PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) I was seriously considering a vehicle from this dealership, and the sales team assured me it had undergone a "thorough inspection" and was in great condition. I asked about a PPI, and their reaction immediately raised red flags--they kept repeating the car was fine, but something felt off. Thankfully, I insisted on bringing it to Mercedes for a full inspection. The result? Over $10,000 in necessary repairs. The car was absolutely not in the condition they claimed. Either their in-house inspections are completely unreliable, or someone is seriously cutting corners. Yes, I spent $600 on the PPI, but it saved me from buying a used and abused car and losing tens of thousands more. If you're thinking about buying here, demand a PPI from an independent shop--preferably a specialist. If they push back, take that as a sign to walk away. Bottom line: Always get a PPI. And if you do buy a car here, make them cover the cost. You'll thank yourself later. (See attached photos for what they tried to pass off as "thoroughly inspected." If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay FAR AWAY from this place. So we ended up having to take the car somewhere else to have it checked - Not a dealership. (Please see my review from a month prior.) We had to go back and forth a few times with diagnostic but it turns out it needed to be factory reset. We took it over to Maita Chevy in Elk Grove and they did the factory reset. Turns out, it was COVERED under warranty. So no cost, no time wasted, and good customer service! Go to Maita. Be careful!!!!!! They try to force $3k in illegal fees at the last second. I just purchased a 2024 Honda Odyssey here, but the experience was incredibly deceptive. Before going into the finance office, I showed the salesperson their own advertised price and asked if that was the final number. He looked me in the eye and said yes. But as soon as the paperwork came out, they tried to sneak in $3,000 in "mandatory" add-ons (GPS tracking and ceramic coating). When I called them out on it, they tried to tell me these were required. I knew my rights--California Vehicle Code § 11713.1(e) requires dealers to honor their advertised price without forced extras. I eventually walked out in frustration, then they "suddenly" were able to take the fees off so I could finish the deal, but it took a huge fight. Do not fall for their "mandatory" talk--it is a textbook bait-and-switch tactic to inflate their profits. If you buy here, check every single line of your contract before you sign and don't let them STEAL $3000 of your hard earned read more
