I have been coming here for the last 8 years and it used to be great. Lately their chicken is super dry and flavorless, even the bread sticks are super dry. I've had wings from various wing places, but my favorite place still remains Wings N Things. Their establishments are always clean, especially this particular location. I have dined in, ordered for take out, and have also ordered over the phone for pick-up. They have always gotten my order correct at this location, and have listened to all my requests. (ie: mixing both mild/medium sauce with BBQ sauce on my wings). All the employees here are great. I have never received bad service from any of them. They are very knowledgable of the menu items, and are pretty helpful when it comes to deciding on what to order. Personally, I love the boneless wings. If you don't like getting messy, you can eat them with a fork as I do. The tenders are also pretty great. The breadsticks? Freakin' amazing! They are always the cherry on top for me, here. Once you eat their breadsticks, no other breadstick in the world is going to compare! I am being serious now. All in all, this place is great. If you're in a hurry, I would recommend calling your order in for pick up AHEAD of time. Why? Because they tend to get packed at certain times. So they owner can drive around in a brand new Tesla while underpaying his staff and leaving the store in the hands of high school kids who couldn't give a shit. By far the worse location in San Diego nothing is fresh you're eating chicken from 2 hours ago that they just stick in the fryer for 30 seconds to warm up, I ordered fries and they were just chewy as if they were cooked hours before and just reheated those breadsticks used to be so good but not when you're getting the cold leftover bread the only decent thing they have is the ranch dressing but they skimp out on giving extra and charge for a small little cup. Not to mention the horrible location is just filled with homeless people and crack heads just sitting in the front begging for money. Bought lunch for employees and order came back incomplete. We were missing bread sticks. Not a big deal, so I called spoke to gentleman, who was confused and said to hold so he could speak with manager. Manager then answers with a thick attitude says how can I help you? I love love love their recipe for the sauce. I always get strips and medium sauce. The best. When I started going here a few years ago I always thought that the servings could be bigger. But then I realized that the servings always filled me up. So that's good. With the 4 strip meal and the breads I have enough. I do think their pricing could be a little lower and I'd probably go more often. Especially cause it's not a full revive restaurant. So to me it seems a bit high for a quick stop to eat. Ordered from his location about 5 months ago as this was the closest to me. First of all, I have been ordering wings and Things for years, 7 actually and now only place I go to as their food is amazing. Back to this store, the manager is really unfriendly and so are the people in charge of the store. I got the run around when they forgot to put in the order for my buffalo chicken sticks. The person took my order forgot to check they were in the bag and when I arrived home 15 minutes away is when I noticed. I called the store and they immediately recognized that they forgot. They told me I could drive back the same 15 minutes and drive back another 15 minutes to enjoy them. I asked if they could save them for me for another day and instead they told me I had to talk to the manager. Well needless to say the manager did make me drive back. With her customer service, I'm never going back to this store, not that they care at this location. Here I go to national city now. They are much better about caring about their customers. read more

I've been coming to wings n things for years but the one on El Cajon Blvd which is amazing, always has my order ready when I call ahead, it's always right, hot and fresh! But today I was in the neighborhood and called my order in while I waited at Panera. They told my boyfriend they would text when it was ready and they never did. After 30 minutes he walked in and they asked if he got a text, which he stated with an attitude! Then he said it'll be ready shortly and we waited another 15 minutes! We got a 8 piece and two of there chicken fries and let me tell you the portions for the fries were so small, my 8 piece was dry, dehydrated and chewy! We asked for extra wet and they had so little sauce that it barely covered the bottom of the container! I will never ever go back to this wings n things again and I highly recommend staying away from this one due to there incompetence! Epic Wings N Things is my favorite buffalo wing spot in all of SD!!! I usually visit the stores in Eastlake, Mira Mesa and this one. By far this is the worst one. I eat here like once every 2 weeks maybe, and this place is hit and miss. Sometimes it's okay, sometimes the strips taste old and frozen. Extra chewy. All the other spots usually taste fresh. Costumer service was ok the cashier was a male around his early 20s , I ask are the extra hot a lot more hot eatable that the hot his answer was there the same I was like ok? We place our order and grab a seat . The first think I catch was the floor really dirty made me just want to change the order to go. They caught that I was looking around the floor and send the same cash it to clean it up. I love coming here, it's so delicious! It's definitely not the healthiest but great for some fast food cravings. I am a regular and usually order the Wing Fries with medium and lemon pepper. I would definitely recommend calling in orders because sometimes it's a small wait. We got "medium"; your choices being Mild, Medium, Hot, X-Hot. Service: 3/5 - Right as I was about to step up to the cashier, the phone rings and the employee answers it and ignores the fact that I was there. I didn't get really mad but it was rude of him.
