The epoxy service was great! I was quoted a very fair price and the flakes and polyaspartic epoxy coating that they use by Versatile High-Performance Coatings are very high quality and commercial grade. Mr. Burga applies a lot of attention to details when working with your household furniture, washer, dryer, ensuring they are not damaged. He and his co-workers are very thorough in the preparation process grinding, cleaning, and filling the cracks in the floor. He applies two layers, a base coat and a topcoat with the flakes in between. He definitely does not skim on the flakes, he is very generous, which makes the floors look very filled. I am very satisfied and happy with the results and the floor looks great and durable! BUT... I recently tried contacting him afterwards for an invoice a few times, he did answer via text and phone once or twice and said he will send it over but never did. I checked my emails, spam, junk, etc. I received nothing. I asked again a few times via text for the invoice and the quote for driveway crack repair that I requested when he was on site, still received no response. Eventually, I tried calling a few times and now it just rings to voicemail. He does promise a warranty, but if I cannot reach him or get a hold of him, or have any type of receipt, then how can I ever claim it? I just hope I never have to I guess. We had Jimmy did epoxy coating for garage back in July 2024. He verbally promised and also wrote on the paid invoice that he will come back for the repair if there is cracking within 3 years. I informed him via text (12/5/25) for the cracking but did not reply at all! He used to reply very fast before and during the transaction. I read other reviews and would like to verify he does not smell doing any drug. His lovely wife was a good assistant. The epoxy material he used looks commercial grade, not the home depot quality. If your garage has no crack, then having him to do the job is a good choice. For me, there were crack (garage is extended so the crack is between new and old concrete) and it took him work grinding up until smooth (not smooth enough). This epoxy crack is due to insufficient grinding. It looks fine when the job is done but the bump shows up in a few months. When I texted him at 510-598-9792 (original # he used to communicate with me), no replied. After I posted the review and he said he changed his # to 510-387-4527. Please see the updated review below. updated: 1/21 Jimmy came to do the fix. came daily except Sunday and finished on 1/26/2026 (total 5 days/times process). It was dusty when grinding off the old/damage epoxy. This time he applied water barrier epoxy to fill the gap. He was a lot more detailed for the repair, really taking his time, at first he said it was like a 2 days job but turned into 5 days. I expect no repair needed if the job is done right at the first time. Repair brings inconvenience to both home owners and Jimmy. I extended my garage both front and back. I am ok just have him do the front with high car traffic area. The back end still bump up but I don't want more grinding and dust in my garage. In Conclusion, this is small family business and I hope Jimmy would still get jobs but hope he does the job more carefully and no repair needed. Given his price is lower than others, I will still choose him all over again despite all the inconvenience.
