When I reached out to the company the owner answered the call so casually that I had to confirm that I had dialed the correct number. After communicating my need I was informed that they didn't do repairs although it stated it did in the post. Nám appeared completely uninterested in my business. I had to practically bag/convince Nám to come out to our property which he sounded as if he couldn't be bothered and instructed me that we would need to secure our own materials beforehand. Nam did an exceptional job refinishing our white oak floor. The floor had SO many coats of uneven varnish it looked pretty bad and we thought the wood was in bad shape. Nam took one look and assured us the floor was in good condition and had just been refinished badly. He helped us understand alternatives (whether to stain after stripping or just coat with varnish) and created a sample so we could make a decision based on what we saw. He stripped away the extra layers and revealed our beautiful floor underneath, then coated with a simple water based varnish. He also charged only for the work he did (2 days to strip the floor and coat) where everyone else's quote included 1-2 extra days to stain. read more

Highly Recommended!! I reached out to Nam to quote installation of WPC flooring throughout (including stairs), porcelain tiles in 3 baths, and baseboards. I was going for the traditional look with a modern twist and he did an incredible job with just him and one of his workers. My family stopped by and was quite impressed with the quality and said it looks really high end. Nam customized the stairs with white risers and a bullnose trim, installed very tall (7 1/4") baseboards which he mentioned was risky since some areas were just 8' tall, but I'm glad he went for it because it really made the walls pop! The baseboards were all one piece, which installers don't typically do! It was a difficult task considering that walls and floors aren't always perfectly leveled. The lines were extremely clean! As for the tile, Nam used 8x8s for the baths with each room having a different Italian design. Some batches received had tiles that were off by 1/16", but somehow they found a way divide them up and make it all look symmetrical. I honestly couldn't tell and have been taking lots of trips to the bathroom just to stare at them! If you're looking for high quality flooring installation, I highly recommend to call Hardwood Floor Masters. These guys know their craft, are fast, and were really easy to work with too. They did the hard part of my renovation and can't thank them enough for all the detailed work they did. I'm so glad I found them here! read more

We were looking to remove the carpet on the second floor of our house and replaced it with hardwood floor. It was old and causing allergy problem for our kids. Firstly, we can't recommend Huu highly enough for any level of remodeling or renovation jobs you may be doing. We recently used Hardwood Floor Masters to remodel the kitchen and were absolutely delighted with the results. Our kitchen looks amazing. We have attached the "before and after" pictures for you to see. Our kitchen was built in the early 1950's with really dark brown cabinets and light brown tile countertop. Everything looked so old and ugly and we thought it was time to have a new, contemporary kitchen; but it's easier said than done. We were tired of driving around to check out the show rooms because there were so many choices out there: colors, styles, materials, and prices. Huu's name came up when we talked to our friends about the project. He came to rescue us when we could not make any decision! All we had to tell him was our budget and the color of the cabinets and we trusted him to pick everything else to complete the project. Man, we tell you it was the best decision we've ever made. We now have a brand new kitchen with cream white cabinets, light gray quartz countertop and backsplash, darker grey porcelain tile floor, and recessed lighting. My dream came true today. My spiral staircase has been transformed from carpet to hardwood. Because this is a sprial staircase, the dimensions of each step were odd size with one rounded end. Huu had to create a pattern for each step so that he can cut the wood to the exact dimension. Because of the dimension, it took two pieces of wood to create one step, but you would not be able to tell where the seam was. Aside from the construction and installation, Huu has a good eye for design. He recommended that we change the wood spindles to wrought iron. That turned out to be a great decision as it gave the staircase an updated modern look. Huu also recommended stain oak both for the stairs and the hallway. This choice allowed us to pick the stain color that best matched the banister. For Huu, this was not a job, but a work of art. For us, the results exceeded my expectations. We will be looking to have Huu help us with a bathroom remodel. As all the other reviewers have said, Huu made sure everything was neat and tidy before he left for the day.
