To start the lady taking our older had a disgusting cough and was not covering her mouth. She also was working on food prep which is gross. Second, we ordered two hot brisket, Mac & cheeses and they sucked. The picture on the menu shows a sandwich overfilled with mac and cheese and meat. Both sandwiches were depressingly empty. Half of the sandwich didn't have Mac & cheese and if we had combined the two into one it still wouldn't have had near as much as the picture. Very disappointed. Love it. Amazingly varied menu. I have always loved every order. Delivery is always quick. The delivery person wears a mask. I highly recommend getting a soup to dip your guts in. The mac and cheese is surprisingly good. You don't expect fast food to have good mac and cheese. Not dry, not mushy. It is good food. It doesn't pretend to be fancy. It's a good sandwich shop. The best part of my lunch was the bread. Super fresh and warm, nice and soft on the inside. I had the Jacob Bluefinger sub and added a cup of the Wisconsin beer cheese soup. I didn't realize how expensive the soup combo would be (it came out to a tad over $10 with tax). And the soup honestly was disappointing. It was rather bland and there were maybe 3 small pieces of carrot in it. I was drawn in by the name, but wish I had chosen something else. The sandwich was good, mostly because of the bread. I was really in the mood for a soup and sandwich, so I came here. The smells drew me in. Everything tastes really good, however I really wish the sandwich makers paid more attention to the orders. I asked for no tomatoes and extra onions and had tomato and no onion on my sandwich. The chicken and wild rice soup is very tasty, I would probable order it again. Did an online order today. Order indicated that it would be delivered within 30 minutes. Food was delivered 1.5 hours later. The order was a sandwich, a bowl of chili and a soft drink. By the time the order was delivered the chili was cold, and the wrapping over the sandwich was soggy and ripped apart as I tried to take it off the sandwich; the cheese in side the sandwich had become nearly liquid. All cold subs. You know not to expect much when the cashier recommends to try a different sub place. They cut out the center of the bread which is an interesting practice. Plus, they have amazing soup and they give you the cut out center of the bread to dip in your soup. I love that they do this - most subs have way too much bread, in my opinion. Delivery: the food arrived 1 hour late and the soup and sandwich that should be at least warm were cold. I called to check on my order and they had some rehearsed message saying they are doing what they can. If they couldn't deliver my food with an hour notice, then I should have been informed of that when placing the order. Will not order from them again. Ordered over a 100.00 order today and we order often. There was one box lunch out of the whole order, she got 1/2 of the sandwich, soup and cookie. Missing the other half of sandwich and pickle. I called to let them know and would like the other half sandwich that was paid for. The manager has absolutely no customer service skills. Argued with me that we ordered a couple up. What happened to the customer is right? The order was repeated back to me correctly, so what happened from there I don't know...Sadly, this Erberts lost our business due to this "so called manager". We are getting the sandwich delivered after a 2-3 minute argument. I highly doubt the person will eat it...who knows what's in it. read more

A good sandwich joint and the quality is surprising for a chain. They cut out the center of the bread for you and put it off to the side. The sandwiches wouldn't win any prestigious awards but still can't be beat (go with the Boney Billy). Their soups are superior to Subway; I recommend the Minnesota wild rice! read more

Very cool little sandwich shop in downtown Fargo. Very friendly service very clean environment. On top of all that good stuff the food is delicious I had the cheddar and broccoli soup and it was perfect. The atmosphere is well lit and upbeat with open seating! It's hard to do a review for a restaurant like this. But if you're looking for a fast food style sandwich then you can't do much better.

Sandwiches are very good. Bread is excellent - fresh and chewy. Putting much less on sandwiches now, which leaves a poor bread-to-filling ratio. Unfortunately the part that ruins the sandwich is when they roll it so tight it crushes the bread. Please - managers - retrain on the sandwich rolling. We want to enjoy a full, fluffy sandwich, not a sad, mushed mess. Happens at every location. Soups are good too when hot. Best sandwich accoutrement?
